Hands-down, One Fish Raw Bar is one of the best local restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. Every dish we had hit the flavor out of the park one-by-one without disappointment. Everything is fresh and top-quality. My absolute favorite was their One Fish Chowder. The layers within that chowder blew my mind. It had a smokey flavor that was created without the use of bacon like so many restaurants turn to now-a-days. This was a pleasant and appreciated surprise as I do not eat pork. (I am still dreaming about and drooling over this dish!) The restaurant is on the small side, but it is clean, fresh, and brings a welcoming atmosphere. The servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. We will definitely be back and I have already recommend family to check it out. 🙌

I had a date night here and we ordered the 5 course meal. Absolutely amazing, it’s our favorite date night restaurant now. Everything from the flavors, to the plating, to the staff was more than I could ask for. Josh was our server and man what an excellent job he did. Helped us with our wine choices, was very knowledgeable about the food and was all around pleasant to engage with. Will be back for more in the future after this experience.

One Fish Raw Bar is a culinary experience you won't want to miss. Each dish showcases the vision with which One Fish's menu has been crafted, with creative combinations and inspired pairings for both food and drink. I would highly recommend the 5 course family style meal, it takes you through a great variety of foods that are all delicious. There are dishes that will surprise you, awe you, and give you a sense of fun, all the while being extremely tasty of course. The hospitality is also top tier, it's clear that the staff care about making sure you enjoy your time there. Each time I have been (which isn't nearly enough times since I found out about One Fish) I have always had a wonderful experience. Thanks very much to Josh and the rest of the One Fish crew for such a great time there every time!

If you haven’t been to One Fish Raw Bar in Campbell yet, do yourself a favor and GO. This spot is an absolute treasure — fresh, pop of deliciousness, inventive, and beautifully executed from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and welcoming vibes, especially from Josh. Its an intimate, upscale vibe that still feels relaxed. The staff or even the cooks are super knowledgeable, passionate about what they do, and happy to walk you through the menu if it’s your first time. Tip: Do not skip the cornbread. It’s truly next level — warm, buttery, perfectly crisp on the edges and somehow still light and moist on the inside. Easily the best cornbread I’ve had anywhere so far. The clam chowder is another must try: rich, creamy, and brimming with hella flavor — a comforting bowl of perfection that somehow still feels elevated. It rivals Hog Oyster Island’s Clam Chowder in Ferry Building SF! Chef Ederlyn is so creative in merging many tastes into one dish. Come through here and you wont regret it. Super 10/10 🔥 in your taste buds.

Google
Such a cute little spot with delicious seafood! Every dish was unique and beautifully presented, but the real standouts were the miso cod and the blue prawns. The cod was perfectly seasoned with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness unlike any cooked fish I’ve ever had before. The prawns were incredibly succulent with an aromatic curry flavor. Overall, the food was excellent! The only miss for me was the oysters — they had a noticeably fishy aftertaste and didn’t seem particularly fresh. I also wasn’t a fan of the sweet prickly pear sauce they were served with. However, all the other dishes were so delicious that it’s still 5 stars from me.

Google
I recently went to One Fish Raw Bar to celebrate an engagement. We had a sake pairing with our family style meal, every sake was delicious and harmoniously paired with each dish. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with stellar service. One Fish Raw Bar is the perfect place to celebrate such a momentous occasion, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend One Fish Raw Bar to anyone who wants a unique and delicious experience in the South Bay. 5/5 stars.

Google
I have dined with Trent, Josh, and Edalyn for the past two years. Every experience I had was creative, unique, and representative of the seasons. One Fish maintains a high bar of quality and consistency, and I still believe the team behind it is still getting better. If you want to open your palette to new sensations, push the boundaries of flavors, or just share a meal that you’ll think about for the years to come with the most special people in your life, One Fish is the perfect place to be. Other reviews highlight some impeccable dishes, but I can truly say that everything is worth trying. Let them cook!

Google
Seafood Delight 💯 We had zero expectations for our family-style meal at One Fish Raw Bar and the casual decor and relaxed ambiance didn’t give any clues other But what a meal it was. One Fish Raw Bar punches above its weight class with gorgeous dishes, pristine seafood and a meal that satisfies and delights The South Bay Area isn’t known for creative cuisine compared to our sister city to the North (SF) and I haven’t had a meal this novel since dining at Orchard City Kitchen The chef owner and lead captain have extensive fine dining and Michelin experience and that background gives a hint of what’s to come For parties greater than 4, it’s a family-style Chef’s choice that changes daily but consists of raw, sashimi, and cooked snacks and seafood with a dessert finish One Fish Raw Bar is definitely a Campbell hidden gem and will be my go to recommendation for the South Bay 📷 5 Course Family-Style Meal $125 per person ~ Shells, Sashimi, Snacks, Cooked, Dessert / Chef's Choice 📍One Fish Raw Bar (Campbell, CA) Dining is indoor only and reservations on Tock are recommended. All credit cards are accepted

Yelp
Such good food, especially for a restaurant with a raw menu that changes daily. Every single dish, and we ordered a lot, was immensely good. Service was great, such kind people, felt like a a very home-y vibe. Definitely a michelin star level restraint but minus the posh/stuffiness! If you appreciate attention to detail, incredible sashimi and sea food, amazing service, a pretty and clean looking restaurant, one fish is for you!!

Yelp
One Fish Raw Bar is such a neighborhood gem. I found it completely by chance about two weeks after they opened, just walking down the street. That first visit was unforgettable and it's been a fixture in my life since for more than one reason. On my first visit I had their take on a blini with caviar. It was a perfect savory waffle with house smoked sour cream, and beluga caviar. Next I had the scallops with XO sauce and Chinese sausage. That meal was probably four years ago, and I still remember those dishes well! The food is amazing. Every dish is creative, packed with intricate flavors, and beautifully executed. Their menu is always changing, but some things just stick with you. The chowder, kimchi fried rice, and cornbread are all standouts. Seriously, I'd go just for those, but their raw bar or cooked dishes make it hard to choose so I sometimes just get everything. The ambiance is so nice, minimalist, warm, and just really welcoming. It has a relaxed, elevated vibe, and the playlist is always on point. The service is probably my favorite part. From my very first visit, Trent (exec chef/co-owner) and Josh (host/co-owner) were so friendly and welcoming and I've really enjoyed getting to know them and everyone over my many many visits. They clearly love what they do, and that energy extends to the entire staff. After that first visit, it didn't take long for One Fish to become a frequent indulgence. I've had some of the best meals of my life here, and I always recommend it to friends. It's one of those places where the food, the people, and the experience all come together so well for me and I love recommending it and hearing back the rave reviews.

Yelp
I recently tried chef's 11-course tasting menu, and unfortunately, I was left feeling underwhelmed. While the presentation and service were top-notch, the overall experience just didn't live up to the reviews or price tag. The cold dishes, didn't pack the punch I was expecting and left me feeling unsatisfied and not at all full. I kept hoping for something more, but it never came. That being said, there were some highlights - the oysters were absolutely wonderful and the salmon was really fatty. The trout was a huge letdown. Not only was it served late, but it was also overcooked and tough, making it hard to enjoy. By late, I mean it was an 18 minute gap between it and our previous dish. I was really hoping for at least one more hot dish besides the trout but it never came. The dessert was another miss. It lacked the finesse I expected and didn't provide the sweet note to end the meal on a high. While the staff was kind and attentive, the food just didn't live up to the standards I'd hoped for. Overall, while the experience had some bright spots, it didn't justify the price.

Yelp
WOW! If you are a foodie, then this is where you must go. Josh called Susie and I by name and presented each dish with a full explanation and walked us through the Sake The restaurant is in a great location with the parking garage behind it. Even if you don't like Raw, I guarantee you will like their raw. Great mixes of flavors not to take away from the food but to enhance it. Recommendations were fantastic! Thank you for the experience!

Frank L.

Yelp
4.5 rounded up cause the fam enjoyed the food and felt the $125 per person price was reasonable Everything was generally good. My only critiques are that the shirt rib gyoza or eggroll could have thinner skin. The thick skin is more western which is fine but I feel like the wrap fights with the short rib for attention. The dessert also could have been better. It was just ok for me. Overall, enjoyed our meals and will come back some day to try the 11 course tasting

Yelp
Loved this omakase (Chef's Tasting Menu) seated at the sushi bar. It's a very small restaurant w just a few tables, and the setting was quiet, clean and bright. There was another couple who also made their dinner reservations at the same time as we did, and each course was served in tandem while each dish explained to all 4 of us at the same time each round. Beautiful experience!

Yvonne K.

Yelp
WOW! That is the only word that was coming out of my mouth as we had dinner here last night. No joke one of the best dinners I've had in a VERY long time. Not only the food but the service was spectacular. Open kitchen, clean and precise. Spare but effective dining room. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar, so much more interactive. (If you like that sort of thing). My date and I will be back (he's a regular, and now I will be too). Honestly, if they don't get a Michelin Star, no one else should either. Worthy of all the accolades. James Beard, 100%! Michelin, 100%! Yum yum.

Lisa N.

Yelp
Amazing service! Food is kinda pricey but at least the flavors were good! Definitely for special occasions. Great presentation and thoughtfulness. I made reservations for the 11 course chefs tasting with a $50 deposit deducted towards your final bill. I ended up paying $205 (tip included). I got to sit by the bar and see the chefs prepare each dish to order. I love how attentive they are. They paired a lot of ingredients together that I would have never imagined. It actually ended up working so well! Chef de Cuisine Edalyn Garcia did a wonderful job! Shoutout to her! Interior and ambiance is so lovely. The clam chowder was to die for! Definitely savored every bite. I tasted a variety of items and it all tasted so fresh. Some standouts were the kampachi, tai snapper, hamachi, ahi tuna, cornbread, and clam chowder!! It's good that I got to sample a variety of dishes so now I know which ones are my favorite so I can order a standard dish next time. Def go check it out!

Lily L.

Yelp
Awww I love the family tasting menu so much and I will be back soon with my fiancé again! Foods are very fresh , love the plate decor and the chief makes every dishes look amazing and tasty ! Yum yum The only dish I didn't like was the beef stew, it's too salty and too much soy sauce ! Other than that ALL OF THE FOODS ARE DELICIOUS ! DEFINITELY will come back soon !!

Yelp
One of the best date nights we have had in years. A truly special location and experience. We did not have reservations so had to wait, but they brought us menus to pick a drink and sit in their nice patio. Then we got to sit at the sashimi bar, watching the amazing chef! Every single item - we had I think every one of the "raw" list was impressively fresh, original and beautifully executed. We are sashimi snobs and often are disappointed but this was a truly unique and fantastic experience. Next time we will try from the cooked menu - the cornbread looked delicious, but we wanted a light late dinner, stayed with the raw bar. The maitre D (possibly the owner?) was very great at making us feel welcome without a reservation. The chef came by to personally check in / I wish I could eat here every night of my life!

Yelp
been wanting to try this place out for a while and glad we did The service is friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food is fresh, creative and tasty. The drink menu is extensive with some high end wines and sakes. we did the premium 5 course meal which includes 1/ shellfish - mussel, clams, oyster and razor clams 2/ raw fish - trout a few ways - sashimi both the flesh and belly as well as dip with cucumber and dill, and then japanese scallops 3/ snacks - kettle chips with a fluffy dip topped with caviar, trout mousse, bib salad with strawberries, dumplings, cooked hamachi cheek 4/ entree - short ribs with puree snap peas and gnocci, cucumber salad (more asian profile) and their signature cornbread 5/ dessert - sliver of chocolate peanut butter mousse cake My favorite per course was the oyster, trout with cucumber and dill, chip and dip and cornbread. honorable mention to the bib salad, cucumber salad in the entree course. It's upscale prices for upscale food. The vibe and music feel more causal so there's a slight disconnect with the overall experience (at least IMO). The menu changes daily too.

Prisilia P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got a chance to do so. Reservation was easy online. We went on a weekday and got a street parking across the street. We ordered the premium 5-course meal and liked some of the options. The best one out of everything we tried was the corn bread! Everything else was just ok. I think for similar pricing, I prefer to have an omakase elsewhere.

Cris A.

Yelp
Food was so amazing! My favorites were the squash soup, corn bread, fried rice, and hamachi. I definitely recommend those dishes! Me and my friend seated outside since it was a nice day. Service wasn't the best as it was a small restaurant but seems like they were well staffed for the amount of customers they had. Expected better service but the food presentation, taste, and delivery was not bad and made up for the lack of attention. Restaurant was well open and very clean. Highly recommend this place and most likely will come back to give it another try in hopes to attention to service will be better.

Clayton Y.

Yelp
The only way i can describe our experience is incredible. From the moment we were entered the restaurant we were greeted with friendly, enthusiastic staff who all came off as excited to have us. The food was incredible, unique and vividly flavored. We were worried about being hungry given how fine dining tends to leave you wanting but we were surprisingly full and satisfied at the end. The staff made every accommodation for us, including my dairy allergy i mentioned upon arrival and an unanticipated early departure for us. The entire staff made sure that we were able to experience the utmost care the entire time and sent us home with the desserts we were unable to finish while at the restaurant. Would recommend this place to anybody who wanted to take their significant other on a special date

Yelp
Yelp didn't disappoint with this one! My bf and I had finished a massage in Campbell and were looking for some lunch. Very glad we stumbled upon One Fish Raw Bar. It's bougie food with the plating and flavors, but the atmosphere and vibe of the place are very casual, which is what I like. We ordered a bunch of items and they were all so yummy. You can't go wrong with any of the raw fish plates, but the fish chowder and liver were to die for as well. They change the menu daily, so it makes it exciting and there's even a tasting menu. We loved our meal so much that we started telling everyone we saw that weekend about One Fish Raw Bar. Yes, it's a $$$, but the quality and flavor combos you get are oh so worth it. We will be back!

Christine C.

Yelp
We stumbled upon One Fish Raw Bar as we were looking for a dinner spot to celebrate our anniversary. We loved everything about this place. The ambiance is semi-fancy with a casual vibe. Service was friendly but chill; we especially appreciated that they offered to split the fish chowder for us, and very sweet of our server to send out a dessert for us upon finding out about our anniversary celebration. It was nice that the chefs would bring out some of the dishes. Every dish was yummy with high quality ingredients and innovative combinations. E.g. Have you seen Hokkaido scallops with Chinese sausage? My favorite of the night was the Hokkaido scallops and the corn bread. But like it said, everything was good! We look forward to our next visit!

Kim L.

Yelp
One Fish Raw Bar is my go-to splurge dinner spot. What's not to love about this place, the open kitchen, delicious food, and lovely staff is amazing! We've come here twice already - once for a date night with their family style meal and another time for anniversary dinner and the tasting menu. Both menus are phenomenal but I think we have a soft spot for their family menu! You get almost everything on the tasting menu and it's all there for you. Their menus change daily and more significantly seasonally. Some of the highlights include their raw bar (as you should expect!), their always-amazing-cornbread with roe, snapper with aguachile... and some of the ones we don't always see like their al pastor fish collar. The chefs are so creative and I look forward to our meals every time we're there! Their sake menu is amazing and there's great pairings all around. Also, highly recommend getting sake bombs :) Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
This is definitely hands down my favorite restaurant in Campbell. My partner and I have made it a point to try every restaurant in Downtown Campbell and One Fish Raw Bar is one of our new favorites. I loved everything about this spot. The ambiance, the service, the speed at which the food arrived and of course the food itself was spectacular! I enjoyed everything I ate there but a few things that I would definitely order again are the fish chowder, the Hokkaido scallops, seafood caussolet and the hamachi. The caviar, chips and dip was also incredibly delicious. My partner and I also really enjoyed the conversation we shared with Chef Trent. He's not only the executive chef but owner of One Fish Raw Bar. It was our first time dining there and that interaction with him just made our experience that much more enjoyable. Can't wait to return. P.S. I would make reservations for this spot in advance as it's been getting a lot of publicity lately on social media and news so I'm sure it will make it difficult for last minute reservations.

Scott R.

Yelp
Every...single...thing....we ate here was absolutely delicious, and we ordered ten dishes, including dessert. The level of service is Michelin Star without the stuffy feel. Ambiance was low key and we could take our time. Josh, the GM that took care of us, could not have been kinder or more attentive. We will be back! (probably next Sunday!). Oh, the menu changes Dailey, can't wait....

Candice K.

Yelp
First time eating here with a very nice gift certificate. Food delicious, service wonderful. Right before Halloween si we had quite the parade out the front window!

Atcha T.

Yelp
Had a great meal at the bar. Opted for the omakase at the bar and had a beer to go with my meal. First course was oyster in a citrus sauce, razor clam with kiwi, mussel with chili negra, and a little neck clam in a spicy sauce. Next 7 dishes are all raw dishes (crudo, ceviche, sashimi, etc.) 2 hot dishes (shrimp and fried fish), and an apple pie dessert. Every single dish was delicious and standout was the tai in makrut (bergamot) aguachile. Chefs did an amazing job with flavors. Where they excel is in saucing. Every single sauce is delicious and fresh. Lots of influence from around the world and chefs have a true understanding of the flavors and ingredients (not pulling punches on flavors and using ingredients in ways that respect and show an appreciation for the cuisine they originate from). Your taste buds will be rewarded. I have missed good crudo and good seafood since I moved here from the east coast. Finally a place that gets it right! Service was also excellent. Hope to return soon!

Minh-Chau D.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed our time at One Fish. The menu changes daily and we ordered a la carte. I would definitely come back for their tasting menu or to try other dishes in their rotation. The standout dishes are their raw seafood offerings. Our server was attentive and food came out quickly, which was nice since I kept ordering more. It is tapas style so each portion is small and you can try plenty of different dishes. Favorites: Fort Bragg Uni: The sauce and croutons pair so well with the uni; it is sweet, fluffy, and flavorful. Fluke: carpaccio style with pear and lime on top; I always love a sweet citrus pairing. Cornbread: sweet lemony cornbread which was well balanced against the roe and cream on top. Other dishes: Trout: The trout was soft. XO sauce made an interesting combination. More sashimi focused. Hamachi: Great thick cut of hamachi. Creamy sauce pairing. Chowder: Salmon pieces in the chowder for tonight. Good taste but it got overwhelming half way through the bowl for me. Either too sweet, salty, or creamy, I wasn't sure which taste profile it was. Market Fish: This was a nice surprise dish. We enjoyed the sauce that was paired with the cooked fish, which was super soft. Sauce was reminiscent of a soup / curry. Fried rice: This was the only dish I did not enjoy. Because I am asian, I have a different preference for rice and I felt like the rice was undercooked to my standards.

Erik K.

Yelp
Small plates, but everything was very tasty. Service was efficient and helpful. Oysters, tuna tartare, scallops were all very good. Will be going back.

Chris R.

Yelp
We decided to come here for our anniversary dinner. It was the perfect dinner choice because the food tasted really fresh. I really liked the variety of food that we were presented with. Our host/server Lucy provided excellent service as well. She described every dish very throughly. At the end of our dining experience we were beyond satisfied with how delicious the food was & how it was the perfect portion of food. First time here & definitely not the last!

Chris L.

Yelp
We got the chefs choice 11 course meal and it was great! Great food and service. Food is on par or better than single thread. Left stuffed and content. Will be back soon!

I M.

Yelp
I was looking for a delicious lobster roll and saw all the reviews and the menus posted on Yelp for the lobster roll. I gave them a call and they said THEY HAVEN'T HAD LOBSTER ROLLS FOR OVER TWO YEARS!. Maybe Yelp needs to get its act together because it's confusing the hell out of me.

Mai S.

Yelp
This is my second time here and their quality of food is consistently good ! We ordered family style course meal again, but every dish was different except their famous corn bread (best corn bread you will have!) I love how the chef is very creative and put a lot of effort to each dish using seasonal ingredients. I'm from Japan and grew up eating many seafood (raw & cooked), so very picky, but i couldn't find any dish that wasn't good. For the amount & quality of food they serve, I highly recommend getting their course meal! If you've been to omakase, or Michelin restaurants etc, you know it is worth the price! The service was very friendly and attentive although we were only party who sit outside. I will come back again!

J T.

Yelp
While I am not a gatekeeper, when I take a bite of something and the serotonin immediately releases and my mouth gets hit with a wave of happy fun time feels immediately I have an internal struggle with myself on whether I want to keep this place to myself- but the good people here deserve this five stars and much more. My fiancée and I reserved this spot as a last minute dinner instead of cooking, and man am I glad we did. Chef Edalyn, sous chef Chris, and Josh brought their A game through and through. Impeccable flavor combinations and service. I have ate at many an omakase, and while this is its own pre fixe type of tasting- the things I enjoyed most were bold and creative flavors you won't find anywhere else. Chef Edalyn, Chris, and Josh created such a warm atmosphere - explaining all the dishes in detail and engaging their guests. The inspiration for the food itself you can tell comes from a refined palate and diverse background- why this restaurant has not earned itself a Michelin star is beyond me. Influencers I ain't gatekeeping, where you at to blow this spot up??? They deserve it!!! You guys should have all the praise, don't worry we'll be back- and in numbers. Look forward to the next meal!!!

John G.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Oysters, caviar, and sake were incredible BUT YOU MUST TRY THE TROUT! Thing Of it as the best salted fish you will ever eat. The subtle proteins and bold black bean mix will melt in your mouth. Go and enjoy.

Valerie G.

Yelp
Went for a special occassion Friday night , 4 of us, sat at a table inside. It was a really hot day but cool and comfortable inside. We ordered the 5 Course Family-Style Meal, 95. per person. It was so much fun to see what was coming next, so creative and unexpected pairing of tastes and textures. The scallops with dill, mint, and the Chinese sausage ( Lap Cheong ), the combination was delicious. Their corn bread was cake like, moist with a cream fish roe topping. it was a lot of food, we were very satisfied. I would go back and recommend this restaraunt to anyone who appreciates delicious foods and beautiful presentations. note: parking is / can be a problem during popular times, one parking garage for the area that fills up ...

Alyse L.

Yelp
We decided to come here for a last minute anniversary dinner. We had the chef tasting menu at the bar. The thoughtfulness that Chef Edalyn put into each dish was phenomenal. Our server Josh provided excellent service. All in all, a very memorable dinner. Definitely will be back again soon.

Ali W.

Yelp
One Fish was everything we expected and more, in the best way! We've had this spot on our list for a while and visited as a group of 5. We decided to do the premium family style tasting menu and were so so glad we did! Every course was outstanding and the service was attentive but casual and never hovering (which I find some testing menus can be). Standouts were the lemon oysters, every plate of sashimi, short ribs, caviar dip, and the fish collars. Highly recommend the tasting menu for the first visit as it allowed us to try a large sampling of the menu. Good wine list and prices and extensive sake list- the only thing that would have been a good addition would be a cocktail menu!

Arthur T.

Yelp
Came by with my sister for my birthday! We had reservations, but my sister brought along a friend's dog so we sat outside. Although a bit windy, the sake kept us warm outside :D We ordered: 2 let us cook $95/ea 2 nightly sake $45/ea 1 short rib $44 "Let us cook" was a great experience. I enjoyed the staff's preparation in the dishes. The sake pairing was great as well. My favorite dishes included the smoked salmon rillettes, sashimi, cornbread, and the short rib (add-on). There is an auto 20% service charge. Street parking only. Definitely will be back! Maybe will sit at the bar next time around.

Christina N.

Yelp
Everything we had was so delicious! All the seafood was incredibly fresh and imported overnight. The menu changed based on what the chef currently has in stock and they source from local business and farms. I highly recommend as a good date place with good food. Service was friendly and explained everything that was being served.

Patty O.

Yelp
4.5 stars I would describe this place as a California, American style cuisine with raw fish. Many of the dishes serve amazingly fresh fish with different types of sauces and garnishes. There is an 11 course tasting menu that can be ordered , those need to be reserved on Tock and require advance reservation at the bar. There is also a tasting menu with 5 courses offered for $95 per person if you are not seated at the bar. We ordered a la carte and def got to try a bunch of stuff. One fish clam chowder - our fav dish hands down. The corn bread croutons went well with it. It was very savory and tasty. Short rib - very tender, and seasoned well. Took a while to come out. Corn bread - served with savory sauce. The sweet and savory pairing went well. Hamachi - fresh and served with a spicy sauce Otoro- very tender, however per price slice was pricey Smoked salmon rilettes - smoked salmon cream cheese with roe paired well with the chip Etc. Our fav was def the clam chowder. Would def come back just for that. The service was nice and attentive. Bill comes with automatic 20% charge

Yelp
Such an amazing dining experience this past weekend at One Fish. Every dish was top notch and I am hungry just thinking of the flavors experienced in each one. I started with the mushroom soup and it was the best I have ever had. The waiter told me the mushrooms were hand foraged in Mendocino county the day prior so it really explains the caliber of quality ingredients they source for the restaurant. After that dish I didn't think the rest would compare, but I was wrong. My husband ordered the fried rice with Chinese sausage added on, and wow it was amazing, (and not your average fried rice that your pallet is used to)! The spicy Mayo sauce throughout made it amazing and it was cooked just right in the cast iron skillet in came to the table in. Next, was the hamachi dish and the waiter notified it was fresh from Japan and it was amazing! I eat a lot of sushi and this tops anything I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend the hamachi if you are going to have a raw fish. Lastly, we went for the chowder and it was really delicious as well. Really fresh vegetables throughout. I wish the soup had more of the white fish, but that's probably me just dreaming. ;) This chef understands flavor profiles and you can tell he has put a ton of work in making sure each dish is memorable and above standards! I love that the menu changes daily and I can't wait to go back to try more from the menu! Thank you One Fish for such impeccable service and food!

Yelp
I came here with my parents for my birthday dinner, and all I can say is that this is one of the best meals of my life. You know that scene from Ratatouille where the reviewer eats the titular dish then has a 'Nam flashback from how good the food was? That was me at least 3 times during this dining experience. We ordered the 11 item, 5 course tasting menu. Our host Josh was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He explained where all the food came from and all the crazy ideas the chef packed into each one. A few highlights: Hamachi Ribs - they took a rarely used cut of the fish and cooked it so it resembled beef ribs; Chef foraged gigantic mushroom, found at a secret tree in the Santa Cruz Mountains; cornbread that was so popular that this fish restaurant cooks it every night by the deca-loaf. I will carry several of these dishes with me as memories of the wonderful meal my parents treated me to on my 30th day of life. Specifically: 1) The trout that somehow looked like the most delicate cut of sashimi salmon. It was topped with a gochi sauce that added an umami flavor, which lingered on my tongue after the I ate the otherwise unadorned trout, yet never overpowered the pure flavor of the fish. 2) The hamachi ribs had an incredible savory flavor inside the fish that the host told us came not from a marinade (it was only lightly marinaded on the surface) but from the fish itself 3) The perfectly textured cornbread with a crunch on the outside and fluff on the inside that was equal parts sweet and savory. My Mom said this was more than sufficient for our desert (though we were of course treated to another wonderful course of deserts after). I've been a minor cooking nerd on and off at various points in my life. This restaurant reminded me what I love about fine dining. Josh told us that everyone in the restaurant had worked at Michelin star restaurants, but that was already obvious to us as we enjoyed the meal. This is a Michelin quality restaurant in the heart of Campbell. Support it! My parents and I certainly will.

Yelp
We came here when they first opened and dined outside. The cornbread and uni stood out. We also had a wine pairing and 3 bugs flew into mine so our waitress changed out my wine 3 times and was very gracious about it. Can't speak to the ambiance since we sat outside but it was pleasant.

Yelp
We did the family course meal here and it was my second time coming here. First the staff here are amicable and very kind. It was a bit challenging when it got busy and there was only one server and I was in that unfortunate situation trying to get his attention for a long time and our table didn't have a host for quite some time. I also wish my red wine was to temp. Of course not all restaurants can't do this but it was a little warm.. The raw fish were fresh, seasoned pretty well and delicious. Fav was the raw first course (though wished uni was the star, cream on it quite heavy), salmon and toro belly, presentation beautiful. The snack part of the course meal was in my opinion a little disruptive to the palette.. but the only complaint I have is that they have a lot of cream based sauces for most of their dishes and I think I needed a bit more acid or something to cut the fat.

Yelp
We had a lovely time here for my birthday dinner. We got the 11 course tasting menu at the counter. 5 star service and food and experience. The chef prepares the food in front of you and you get whatever he gives you. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the food as well. We've never done such an experience before so we were kinda surprised when we got the bill but it's no one's fault. I had originally wanted the less expensive tasting meal so I think there was a mix up but nonetheless great experience. Definitely wanna check it out again for their other menu items!

Yelp
This restaurant really ups the food game in Campbell. I was pleasantly surprised at how delightful my experience was here from the service to the ambiance and the food. Our servers were super friendly and accommodating. We did the tasting menu. Every dish was so well put together and tasted so differently. I really appreciated the innovation in the food. I especially liked the raw seafood dishes. I also liked how the server explained where all the seafood came from. Even the plates they put them on were very nice. The stand out dish for me was surprisingly the cornbread. It is out of this world. I really can't believe someone made cornbread taste this good! The taste of the cornbread is still on my mind. Definitely give this place a try with a loved one!

Yelp
Since Covid we have had disappointing service and food dining out. We were on the search for oyster and found One fish. This has redeemed our faith is restaurants! The service is outstanding, the food is incredible and the environment is inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Made a reservation for 5 people on a Wednesday evening. We chose to go with the family style option ($95/person). A few in our party were concerned that there would not be enough food but we all left completely full and satisfied. Each dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended sake pairings for our meal. The decor was upscale but not pretentious. The only dish that wasn't super flavorful was the Brussel sprout Caesar salad. Favorites included the oysters, scallops, cornbread, and Ahi Tuna. Overall this was a unique and fun dining experience.

Yelp
I was in the area and saw this place nearby. Making a reservation was pretty easy. I went with one friend and we decided to try the $95/person family style. Food: I thought the amount of food was just right and I enjoyed the variety of it. Some of the dishes seemed to be inspired by east and South Asian cuisine. It was all unexpected and well-executed. For $95/person, this may be a hidden gem in the South Bay. The quality of the seafood was all top-notch. Service: Our server was pleasant and made us feel comfortable. Service never felt intrusive. It was almost like he could read our minds with how well-paced our dinner was. Overall, I'm surprised this place wasn't packed. I'll definitely come back. The food was creative and I hope this place gets the recognition it deserves.

Yelp
CORNBREAD LIKE YOU'VE NEVER HAD BEFORE! Chef Trent is a culinary genius (with Michelin star experience) and we're so lucky he opened One Fish in the South Bay! The first time I visited, I couldn't believe I'd never been here before. Y'all, make your reservation ASAP cause I've never had a restaurant become a favorite SO FAST! Seafood lovers paradise! Chef Trent is an extremely talented chef with experience working at Atelier Crenn and so many more famous restaurants! It's a triple A+ in freshness, quality, flavor, presentation and service. I genuinely promise that you won't be disappointed! Chef Trent mentioned they've been having a bit of hard time getting the word out so I've been telling everyone I know (and sharing on social media) cause EVERYONE should know about One Fish. ! Even the cornbread was frickin AMAZING with dill cream and trout roe! I could cry thinking about how amazing this meal was!!! Definitely recommend the chef's choice family style meal (it was SO worth it! I'd actually take One Fish over a bunch of other Michelin starred restaurant in the Bay Area).

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night with a reservation. We ordered the 5 course meal for $95/ person. The food was delicious and we are so full. Ended up with 2 box of to go box food. Service was great as well

Yelp
This place was a nice surprise. It's the best of what Campbell has to offer. I feel like it's a hidden gem because the place isn't pretentious. It shines where it really matters (food and service). Josh was such a gravious and attentive host. He knew we were looking for something out of the ordinary yet familiar at the same time. The sale was on point and the food was delicious and well thought out. They really made it an experience eating there! I recommend sitting at the counter so you can talk to Josh about his music selection and their food inspirations! I will definately be back!

Yelp
The ambience was casual, the service was good, the food was everything. We tried this place out for our weekly date night last Saturday, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Family Style which gave us plates that the kitchen picked out for us, and I would say everything was great. Some points that stuck out to me: 1) I usually love my sashimi straightforward (no sauce, maybe some fresh wasabi), but all of his sauces made sense. 2) Pastries - wow! Cornbread and the mushroom tart was out of this world. 3) Kimchi fried rice, okay, this one. I'm Korean from Korea and I had my decent share of fried rice. But even this was a pleasant and a delicious culinary experience for me. It was interpreted, but still respectful to its original roots. And I'm not sure I've ever said that about a fusion dish.
