Four Chicago-Area Restaurant Shutters to Know - Eater Chicago
"The area near the Bucktown/Lincoln Park border is once again looking for a decent Chinese take-out spot now that Sichuan specialist One Four One Five Restaurant has closed at 1415 N. Fullerton Avenue. The revolving door continues at the space that housed Small Bar and Beer Bistro North." - Daniel Gerzina
This restaurant is truly a gem! I can't believe myself when the waitress brought us our checks. Such good food and service at such a low price. And the complimentary appetizer is delicious too.

Dear Chicago friends, you have no idea how traditional and phenomenal this Chinese restaurant has to offer. This is probably by far one of the best Chinese authentic restaurants out there in the Chicago land. You're getting the real deal. Not in China town, not in the burbs, but it's in Lincoln Park. I live in Buck-Town but I'm lucky enough to get Chinese food at 1415 often. Great food with great price for the neighborhood.

Chinese food is the best comfort food. After a late night my boyfriend and I decided to order in. The food we received was inedible. My spicy beef noodle soup made me gag. It was a thick viscous liquid that somehow managed to have zero flavor. The meat was burned and chewy. The noodles, on the side were falling apart and unseasoned. The chicken and garlic dish we had also ordered had an unsettling after taste and the spring rolls were black in some places. Worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. This is the first time I've ever had to throw away an entire fully paid for meal.

Great food. If you are looking for some interesting Chinese food that aren't usually found in other "boring" places, this is it. Plenty of safe bets for your trusted palate and wide range of authentic regional specialties. Definitely recommend for anyone who is interested exploring something different.

We had 20 people share dinner and BYOB, totally loved it. Great service, every dish was really good, I personally loved lamb and onions, chicken and broccoli, fried shrimp, potstickers, and I could go on and on. Recommend it.

Decor is a bit weird/quirky since they took over the previous beer-focused establishment and didn't do too much to change it, but it's hard to find legit mainland Chinese food north side of Chicago, especially in LP, this place has it. Give it a shot if you want something different than your typical Chinese-American take out and make sure to get out of your comfort zone a bit, it's worth it.
