Where to Find the Cheesiest Dishes in Portland and Beyond | Eater Portland

"Corn cheese is basically exactly what it sounds like: Corn kernels and bubbly mozzarella, saucy with a toss of mayo and add-ins like onion or tteokbokki. It’s deceptively hard to get right — sometimes the cheese breaks, or it’s not gooey enough, or there’s not enough going on. This Beaverton restaurant’s version, however, is just right: Melty and stirrable, blanketed with a layer of melty cheese that’s just begun to brown." - Zoe Baillargeon

Where to Find Korean Fried Chicken in Portland and Beyond | Eater Portland

"One Korean is a remarkable Korean spot boasting a huge menu of items that are both staples and hard-to-find Korean specialties. Within this menu, patrons will find sweet & spicy, soy garlic and original flavored fried chicken. The portions here are fairly large, easily shared family-style alongside other hits, like the short rib soup and the spicy baby octopus. One Korean is located in Beaverton off Murray Blvd. and is currently sticking to takeout and delivery." - Seiji Nanbu

Very yummyful! The beef short ribs were the best! Highly recommend as a single person dish. The grilled mackerel was not grilled at all. It was fried and not de-boned. The beef bone soup was also good and flavored perfectly. The service was a typical 3-star service. Knowing the grilled mackerel was with bones, they did not provide a separate plate for the bone. The lower or the sunken room was cold!

First time here. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. They always checked on you. Food and side dishes were good. I ordered the regular edaname and it had more salt than I see at other places. I liked it but the normal person may think it may be too salty. I ordered the Galbi Tung which is the beef bone soup. I liked that it had a lot of green onions. The soup was tasty and it had a good amount of beef rib in the soup. I will come back in the future.

My favorite part of a Korean restaurant is the banchan. You get 6 here and they were all delicious, but I wish there were more. The pork bone soup was very good.

Most dishes are authentic. Great service. We ordered too much but for the most part prices are around 20-30 a person. They do have ~$13 lunch special.

Google
Absolutely delicious Korean food! I feel like Korean food in the area can be hit or miss, and One Korean was definitely a hit! I got the Mandu-Guk soup and it was perfect! Exactly how I want Mandu-Guk soup to taste, plus you get a great portion size! The girl who hande me my food was super nice, so great customer service to boot!

Google
Ordered via Uber eats. The fried chicken was definitely wetter than I had anticipated. If you plan on ordering and are hoping for a dry rub, etc, you'll be disappointed. The rice is always great! Will be visiting in person in the future.

Got here around lunch time and seated right away. The service was phenomenal and fast. Would definitely visit here again when in town.

Google
Stumbled onto this place while in town for a figure skating competition. Coming from Seoul, I was craving comfort food. This place is legit. Old school vibes with great food and service. They were playing old school k-pop music from 2000. Brought back memories^^ ordered grilled mackerel, fermented bean stew, and spicy calamari and pork belly sauté. Everything was excellent.

Yelp
Jajang was great here. Ate with my cousin. It was amazing However 5 months later menu and servers changed and no more jajang and I looked like a crazy person for trying to order it Dolsot bibimbop was great. So were the sides ( ban Chan). Bring back the jaja

Yelp
I am so sorry to knock a local place but the reviews are lies. Either the yelpers have low standards or just don't know what good korean food tastes like. Bibimbap: $20 for a very small portion with almost no meat and little flavor. Soy Garlic Fried Chicken: not crispy, bad quality chicken, with a strangely gelatinous sweet sauce?? Sort of like a bad orange chicken in the Midwest. Pork Katsu: the meat was tough and grisly, the sauce was watery and not katsu sauce. It was also on an unnecessarily large plate. Unfortunately, we live a few blocks away and will not be back.

Yelp
i got the tonkatsu dish and it was fine. the pork cutlet was cooked fine and was crispy enough. the banchan was fine and the side tonkatsu cabbage salad was fine. keyword is it was fine. however 2 "complaints" 1. the sauce on the tonkatsu was strange. not the usual japanese style sauce nor was it the usual tomato sauce based sauce that korean style tonkatsu has. it was some type of sweet and sour style. it was odd. not bad, but not normal. didn't feel right, in a korean restaurant 2. prices are pretty high. this dish was from the lunch special type discounted list of items, but everything on the menu felt expensive

Yelp
This is my go to Korean restaurant! Food: The menu offers a large variety of classic Korean dishes from raw crab, to comforting soups, to delicious meats! I've tried spicy raw marinated crab from here, H-mart, and Coredam and I have to say, this place does it best. My only feedback is I wish they didn't get rid of the gizzards! My friends and I loved coming here mainly for the gizzards and we were really sad to see it go. Service: the service here is always great with friendly staff members.

Yelp
Very excited because been waiting for a portland restaurant to serve ganjang gejang. And one of my favorite Korean restaurants to boot. The spicy version has been circulating lately but finally the soy marinated version is available. Called for takeout and was ready for pickup in about 20 mins. The hostess was very friendly when I entered and greeted. Love the aesthetics and vibe of the restaurant with the Korean music playing. The garlic soy chicken was delicious like always and bibimbap as well. The marinated crab was pretty good. I haven't had it a whole lot of times in my life but it did have a slight crabby smell to it but it wasn't anything off putting. The crab meat was delicious and there was probably 5-6 clusters with a good helping of meat. Really good and I would recommend to anyone thinking of it to give it a try.

Yelp
Under new management but foods still great but customer service is next level!!! Family owned and operated!!! The Wife Husband and daughter combination really shines through the food and customer service!!! Really appreciate any and all love y'all to help supporting this spot!!! Great humans running a fantastic neighborhood Korean spot with a lot of goodies and surprises!!! Menu is even seasonal so definitely try more than once and don't sleep on the special shaved Korean ice....Pop Bingsu!!!

Yelp
Once I saw the restaurant's Instagram post about their new special, soy sauce raw marinated crab, I knew I had to come try it! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff and was seated immediately. The soy sauce of the raw marinated crab had a nice spice from the chilies that wasn't overwhelming and there was also a herbal taste that I can't put my finger on it. Could it be the kelp? The crab shell was soft, easy to bite, and suck on. The meat came out in one squeeze and it was so good with rice. It's much lighter to eat than the spicy raw marinated crab. They also cut off the spikes on the crab, which made it easier for me to gnaw on the legs. The other dishes that my friends and I got were the beef bulgogi, fried rice with shrimp, and the boneless sweet & spicy fried chicken. Their fried chicken is flavorful and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I would literally be satisfied with just the boneless fried chicken and rice. Overall my friends and I had a really good dinner here and would love to come back again to try everything else on their menu!

Yelp
Upon entering the restaurant the server quickly seated us to a table. It was our first time trying this establishment and noticed there are two ways to enter/exit from the restaurant. Once seated, you are surrounded by listening to K-pop songs on the flat screen TV hunged on the wall. We browsed through the menu and decided on black bean noodles aka Jjajangmyeon and beef short ribs. It did take a moment for our food to arrive (15-20 mins) but time passes quickly with the distraction of K-pop playing. Jjajangmyeon - you don't often see black bean noodles on the menu at Korean restaurants. When we saw they were offering it, we knew we had to order one and it delicious. Packed of flavors of black bean sauce with a good amount of pork bits. The noodles had great chewy texture. We definitely made slurping noises. One of the banchan side dishes we had was pickled daikon and it complemented well with the noodles. La Galbi - The short ribs was good. We thought it lacked flavor a little bit. Perhaps it wasn't marinated long enough. We thought they gave a good amount of short ribs, considering it was $27. The downside were the banchans. They provided six varieties and only liked one. Overall the food was delicious. Plenty of parking as it's located inside of a plaza. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others.

Yelp
Food/Drinks: 5/5 We have tried a huge variety of the dishes served here. Definitely a classic Korean restaurant styled food. Portions are meant for sharing and the food is delicious. The owner is always adding to their menu and exploring new opportunities. They have a good selection of Korean alcoholic beverages as well. The food is great and suitable for all occasions. We have noticed a few inconsistencies intermittently, specifically when they roll out new items, but other than that, it offers consistent good and quality food. Service/Atmosphere/Prices: 5/5 Great service when they are not getting slammed, but even then, they offer quick and efficient service all the way through the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is the definition of family/group dining. They have the ability to support seating spaces of all sizes. Prices are very reasonable and always offer great value for the food that they offer. Overall Comments: 5/5 Consistently exceeds expectations. Will refer friends and definitely continue to return to see what additional offerings they have.

Yelp
I've gone here multiple times and the wait staff is always super attentive. The food is really good. I highly recommend ordering their fried chicken, their beef bulgogi. My favorite soup here is the seafood kimchi soup.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been a while since I dined in here, usually order to-go. It looks like the menu has been updated. The food here is still pretty good and worth checking out. I like their yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and Samgyetang (chicken soup). Both are good when you have been eating a lot of fried foods lately. The Chicken soup is super flavorful and well worth a try.

Yelp
Solid Korean restaurant! We went for dinner last night. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. We ordered the Gyoza, Spicy Pork, Japchae, and Seafood Pancake. They brought out some Banchan first and had a nice selection. I particularly enjoyed their Kimchi, the Bean Sprouts, and the yellow Pickled Daikon. I always wish for more Kimchi though, as it's my favorite. Then all the rest of the food came out pretty much at once. I think we were there a little late and the kitchen wasn't too busy, because it was *fast*. The Gyoza were deep-fried, which isn't my favorite (I prefer pan-fried), but they were tasty and the sauce was good. The Spicy Pork was just as I expected and is always one of my favorite Korean dishes. Even though it looks very red, it's not crazy spicy though, so don't be scared! The Japchae was good. I feel like there were more fresh vegetables and it was less greasy than I usually get from other places (yay!), but it was a little light on the Beef. Good flavor overall, though. The Seafood Pancake is a favorite of my husband and he enjoyed this one. Korean Seafood Pancakes are usually a little fishy tasting for my liking, so I didn't have more than a couple of bites, but it tasted like you would expect. I really appreciate that they give you the scissors to cut it up though. Overall, the service was stellar. We had multiple people asking how we liked everything during the course of our meal. Our main waiter was super friendly and personable. We will certainly eat here again.

Yelp
As always, BTS on screen & speakers is always a nice vibe! The prices are up as everywhere else but the soups are large. Odd compliant ~ Pork Bone Soup has too much meat and not enough potato to cream it out. Dumpling Soup dumped in with too many dumplings and not enough broth. Banchan fresh and friendly to refill anytime, stocked with Korean beer. Seating is spacious and plentiful, kind waitstaff, home style cooking.

Yelp
We went with a group of six adults and two toddlers. This restaurant is one of our sons' favorite places. I now know why! Food was spot on but service was even better! The owner and her daughter were so good with our two 19 month old kids and knew exactly how to make our dinner enjoyable and very relaxing! Definitely coming back many more times!

Yelp
Wow! Got take out from One Korean and was just blown away by the stunning presentation of the food! The taste was amazing and I loved the banchan too! This is my new favorite restaurant!
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
One Korean is underrated! They have solid Korean staples, like kimchi pancake, spicy rice cake, and stews, as well as a variety of sool anju or food that pairs well with drinks! Ask them what their specialty is! Although I usually don't order steamed spicy fish dishes, one of the dishes they make excellently is their maeuntang. It's not fishy at all, but has a deep spicy flavor that goes perfectly with rice. The location is just behind Shari's off of Murray Blvd with plenty of parking!

Yelp
Delicious Korean Food! We ordered the Jabchae, beef bulgogi and their boneless Korean fried chicken. Everything was great, especially the banchan appetizers. Two tips: 1. the menu says "fired" chicken, but I assure you it's crispy fried 2. For service, hit the red call button at your table!

Yelp
Our new go to Korean restaurant. Been here 3 times already. Good friendly service, Korean shows on TV and tasty. Service by doorbell if you need anything after placing your order. Chapchae had good flavor, slightly on the sweeter side. Nice balance of noodles and veggies. Chicken had good flavor, but I expected it to be crispy, it was breaded and a little soggy in texture, but still good with rice. The star dishes were the soups, the rice cake dumpling soup is yummy. The soup is very peppery, but lots of rice cakes and fair amount of other ingredients compared to other restaurants I've had this dish at. Yukgaejang , spicy, flavorful and delicious. Will be back to try other dishes and order the soups again.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area! Their food is always excellent and the Korean aunties working there are so lovely, they really make you feel at home. I appreciate that they play BTS on the TV. All the side dishes that come with your order were so delicious, they have some of the best kimchi in town! I ordered the Yukgaejang, the noodles and beef were cooked well. The soup broth is so hot and flavorful, it was a comforting meal. If you're craving some hearty Korean food, come here and you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Great family spot! Servers were nice and the food was really good! We really liked the La Kalbi Ribs, Seafood pancake.... But the pork bone broth soup was just awesome! We'll be coming back

Yelp
This was our first time here but definitely not our last, this place is soo good and I will be taking me 35 min drive over more frequently, the seafood soup was okay here I've had it better other places but I craveee the spicy calamari dish and we also got Korean fried chicken which I didn't get a pic of but my best friend loved it as well!
google avatar

Yelp
Took Togo lunch for here today. Korean black bean noodles, beef short ribs and sweet&spicy chicken. Delicious food and definitely will be going back to get more from here
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
This is a BIG heck yes!!!! The food is fresh, hot, delicious with an attentive, friendly staff. Spicy Korean fried chicken (not that spicy), be-bim-bop and bulgogi beef were all on point. The complimentary sides of kimchi, cucumber kimchi, pickled daikon and fish cakes were all amazing (we had 3 rounds of each). The eggplant was not in our wheelhouse but if you dig eggplant, you will surely like their version. This place is a must-go.

Yelp
Every time I've done takeout or delivery from One Korean it's been really good! I love the variety in their menu. My favorite is their Bossam. It's incredible! I want to try dine-in, I've yet to do that.

Yelp
Another fave Korean restaurant added to my list! Dined in here tonight and we were seated right away and was greeted by a nice lady. We ordered kimchi pancake, grilled mackerel and pig trotters. It was so funny when I said "pig trotters" because the lady who was taking our order what shocked that we chose that haha. The kimchi pancake was huge! I didn't expect it to be that big so we took some home. The grilled mackerel was very moist and flavorful. It comes with a side of lemon which was perfect together. The pig trotters were the best ones Ive ever had. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was nice. At the end of your meal they give you complimentary slices of oranges. The oranges were very sweet and refreshing. The staff here are so sweet. We had a great time here and there was a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely come back!

Mallory K.

Yelp
We get takeout from One Korean a couple times a month and our dishes are always delicious and portions are generous. Highly recommend the bibimbap!

Yelp
Have ordered twice via Uber Eats from here. The first time, we got the spicy pork and squid and the gamjatang. Both were good. The gamjatang came with lots of broth, which was rich and mildly spicy. I'm partial to gnawing on tender pork neck bones though, so I may be biased. The gamjatang alone was enough for two meals for me. The spicy pork and squid is solid, with a sweet and spicy sauce that isn't too overpowering/overly spicy. The second time, we ordered the spicy pork and squid again and the beef short ribs... Don't order the beef short ribs--for the $27 price tag, you get sad, grey-looking beef with grill marks. Looks unappetizing. Though the beef is tender, you can't taste much of the marinade. Also, not sure if it was mistake or a change in practice, but my beef short ribs did NOT come with rice. So I ate sad beef by itself plus a few bites of my husband's rice. My husband had ordered an extra side of rice, and we only got one small box. So it seems likely his squid dish would not have come with rice either if he hadn't ordered the side of rice? For the price, I would expect at least some rice! A note online when ordering would be nice to notify customers that they will need to order rice specifically in order to get some. The banchan both times were just ok, have had better. After one yummy and one disappointing meal, I would still try One Korean again, but I'm never going to order the beef short ribs again..

Yelp
Really happy to discover this place. I had gotten a korean soup togo. Spicy Beef Noodle soup. It was really tasty, broth was nice and hearty and loved the abundance of vegetables, meat and noodles packaged professionally on the side so it doesn't swell. Came with a side of white rice and some side dishes like Kimchi, Fish cake, Pickled radish. My husband ordered the Boneless Korean Fried Chicken. He liked how they got the texture right, but wasn't as crazy about the Soy Garlic Sauce, too be fair - we just discovered that Chimking place a few miles out and that place specializes in Korean Fried Chicken. I tried the Korean Boneless chicken and thought it was still good. I came in the day before Cheosok which is Korean Thanksgiving and they gave away these small togo container of rice cake. Really appreciated and enjoyed the rice cake throughly. Was excited to see they serve cold bean soup, will definitely be back for that! Staff seemed nice and Covid conscious. Everyone was wearing a mask, place seemed really clean, and there was hand sanitizer available as well. I would definitely return and would like to try more selections on their menu. 5 Food 5 Price, Seemed fair 5 cleanliness, really clean 5 Parking ample 5 Location conveniently located in UPS and small shopping mall. Highly Reccomend.

Yelp
Their food is really good. The service is really cute and friendly. I love this place so much. I'm addicted to it Highly recommend.

Bryan R.

Yelp
Excellent Korean food, great mix of traditional favorites and newer style dishes! Love their bossam and jokbal, and super tasty sweet and spicy Korean style fried chicken. Pork belly and kalbi are always great choices too, the banchan are always fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Coming from Kansas, where there really aren't any good korean restaurants, coming here was a blessing~ Everything was really good. The spicy seafood noodle soup was excellent, good spice, broth was savory, deep, and just gorgeous with a good amount of seafood and noodles. Jajamgmyeon was also delicious. Tastes pretty authentic, noodles were cooked to perfection, sauce does not taste cheap. Only complaint about this dish is that I wish they added more noodles. The tangsooyuk was also excellent! The pork was a bit overcooked, resulting a tad dry, but overall, sauce was sweet and savory, good amount of toppings, big serving. Wish it was a bit cheaper. Will definitely come again!
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Been to this plaza many times but never knew that there's a pretty big Korean restaurant here. Service was super friendly. Quality and portion of food were amazing. Banchans were also on point. The Samgyetang, Seafood Pajeon, and Steamed Egg stood out to me. The broth of the samgyetang was super well-balanced. I had a hard time not drinking all of it. The pajeon was filled with chunks of octopus and shrimps, crispy on the outside and slightly chewy in the center. In the meantime, the steamed egg was as fluffy as can be. Might be the best Korean place in Oregon I've experienced yet. Will totally come back!
google avatar

Taylor T.

Yelp
My favorite traditional Korean spot since moving to Portland! Cute little mom and pop shop. Best japchae I've ever had! The ramen noodle soup with cheese hands down is the best! Be aware closed random days so check before going. Dinner time gets busy but worth the wait.

Peter L.

Yelp
Food is pretty good. Service is good for Asian place. Seafood soup is great. They used to give us an egg to crack/add on top but not any more. Beef short rib dish is hit and miss.
google avatar

Brice L.

Yelp
The best korean food I've had to date in Oregon. Missing the social experience that I've grown to love in a kbbq restaurant as they don't have grills on the table (at least not that i saw) but they more than make up for it with fantastic flavors. The service was just fine, not amazing and not bad. The atmosphere was nothing special but it was clean and inviting. I can't wait to go back for another bulgogi plate and korean corn dog.
google avatar

Keizzel C.

Yelp
I didn't eat in so I can't comment on the full experience but the staff was sweet made ordering via phone for pick up easy. Nice Friday night so wait for pick up was ~45 mins but this was typical for other Korean restaurants in the area. | WHAT WE ORDERED | + Soy Garlic Chicken + Tteok-bokki + Kimchi Pancake + Bulgogi ________________ The four entrees above were waaaay too much to eat in one sitting for two people but the portion sizes were hearty and able to last a couple meals. The chicken was flavored well but didn't travel well for the 30 mins heading home but would be keen to come try them again in person to see the crunch. The noodles were cooked well and the sauce was flavorful. I recommend you eat this first since it doesn't reheat well as the noodles get a little hard. The kimchi pancake was a large portion and was thicker than what I was used to. It's great if you like more doughy of a texture and the sauce they paired to dip was nice. I prefer mine a little thinner for more of a crisp so would likely want to try the seafood pancake to see if it's different. The bulgogi was your standard but noticed they added some lettuce in it which was a first for me. I like that they put extra sauce on the side and flavors mixed well. Overall, they have pretty solid Korean food. I would want to come to have the experience in doors and try their other items with other people so I can try more. haha.

Yelp
By God, this is the most delicious and authentic Korean food I have EVER eaten! I have eaten some of the worlds best Korean cuisine.. and it baffles me that the BEST is not in Korea.. but in Beaverton, OR. 97007 at #OneKoreanRestaurant on Murray Blvd. They have it all here guys! Their menu is vast, and the service is excellent! If you are looking for one of the best dining and Korean culinary experiences that'll leave your taste buds tantalized for months.. then come here and experience it for yourself! 20 out of 20!!
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean places to go to. They have items that go beyond your basic bulgogi and kimchi. The flavors inform you that it is indeed one of the best Korean flavors without overpowering you taste buds. It is spicy, but much more complex in the overall bouquet. They have takeout during covid-19. Do call first otherwise it can be a 40 minute wait. We make this mistake but I'm not taking a star off as it is my own my mistake. The Turkish grocery next door provided a great deal of exploration.
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
They are racist here!! If you're not korean you will receive the worst service ever. We were seated with a jug of water with no cups and no one even acknowledged us after that. There was a table next to us that was seated 10 minutes AFTER us and it looks like their order was taken before ours and they received their water, cups, plates, and even the banchan( side dishes). THEY WERE A TABLE FULL OF KOREAN MEN. Meanwhile we were still waiting for our cups and plates. We wanted to ask for cups and also order our food so we had to press the Call button a few times before someone came and approached us. First it was a grandma that served us. So we thought okay maybe we should be forgiving since she's a much older woman. We asked for our cups and she took our order. Then again never brought the cups or plates so we pressed the call button again. She came back and her first response was "what?" At that point I told my husband okay she's just plain rude. He then asked for the 3rd time if she can bring us our cups and plates because my son kept saying he's thirsty and wanted to drink water. She came back and said oh I forgot. When our two orders of soft tofu soup arrived it wasn't even boiling hot. Then we had to press the call button again because the lady didn't bring us our egg or extra bowls we asked for. Then when she came we asked her if the egg will cook in the soup because the soup wasn't even boiling. She then called her grandson over to translate and we asked him and he gave us attitude and said it will cook in the soup. This guy has the worst customer service because he just keeps on giving us attitude. This isn't even the first time. Last time we came he kept ignoring us and was watching BTS on the tv the whole time. Don't work there if you don't. Care about your customers and just care to watch BTS music videos all day. In my opinion don't support this business because they don't care about their customers if you're not Korean. I should have read some of the reviewers prior to coming here but everyone seems to think the same. If you're Korean you get top notch service and get served first. If not, then you can be waiting a long time just to even get acknowledgment here. Eat here at your own risk. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!!

Yelp
Seafood tofu soup and stonebowl Authentic food you can find in Beaverton without waiting!!!!! Staffs were really nice too.

Yelp
Food is amazing. I had their spicy beef tofu soup and it was so good, their portions are big too! The soup legit gave me the flashbacks to childhood like in ratatouille. The server at the front was very nice and welcoming. The inside looked pretty clean, and the lighting is very nice.

Yelp
I usually just order to go and the food here is always amazing. Today, I decided to dine in and for the first time I realize this Korean restaurant has poor customer service, not unless you're Korean you would think otherwise. First thing I realized was the hot tea, they brought out the tea pot, but they never gave me a tea cup so I thought I was supposed to just use the silver cup they serve for cold water, but as I look over to the Korean family who sat across from me, they all had tea cups with their teas. Second thing I realized they treated me different was because we weren't Koreans so we got wooden chopsticks while the Korean family got silver chopsticks. Lastly, it took them almost 1 hr before my significant other got his jajangmyeon. The jajangmyeon sauce was very running too. I dont know if I will ever come back to dine in. I wanna give them the benefit of the doubt, but I dont know if I could. Hopefully they will see this and change their way with customer service.

Yelp
This great restaurant is tucked in Beaverton off Murray and Allen. The food service and atmosphere is great. Strongly suggest for a laid back place to eat delicious Korean food.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years, this time the experience left a lot to be desired. It started with being unable to order for 20 mins, at this point we debated on leaving, and probably should have. Based on our past experiences we stuck it out. One of our favorite dishes is usually the japchae we usually have them add some peppers to make it a little spicy. Even though it didn't come with any peppers I could get over that, but the glass noodle dish had almost NO glass noodles, i am not saying a little less but almost none, it only had sprouts, bell peppers, and onions; honestly I am not sure what the dish was supposed to be, we brought it up to our waiter, he said he would tell the cook, and that is the last we heard of it. The bulgogi was over cooked to point of jerky; but the fried rice was quite good.

Yelp
Portions are generous and perfect for sharing with friends or family. Service is prompt and attentive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I'll definitely be returning to!

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean restaurants. I usually get my food to-go, but will occasionally dine in. They are constantly playing BTS videos for the ARMY. I usually order their seafood pancake, soy garlic chicken and their bibimbap. On a cold rainy day, I find comfort in their soondubu. Their spicy pork is pretty good-just the right amount of spice. I love how they have the call buttons to push if you need your server. I know most Korean restaurants have this in LA. It's so helpful! I find their service a little slow. I notice they sometimes give special attention to other customers-more banchan and quick service. The food is pricey here. I feel like they keep raising their prices everytime I go. I've been collecting their to-go menus and notice prices going up $2-3 which isn't surprising with inflation.

Yelp
Food was great, service a little slow I think. My only nit is we waited quite a bit for our food, other restaurants they normally bring out the ban Chan immediately when they sit you, while here we had been waiting for about 20 minutes and still no banchan so I had ti ask for it, but once they brought it out it was yummy. Maybe we were there on a busy day. So next time I'll ask for it when we are seated just yo make sure they don't forget about our table. Food is definitely yummy and I would recommend. We ordered the soy garlic fried chicken, beef bulgogi, and tteokbokki with ramen, all were great.

Yelp
We have really loved this place over the last couple of years. They have the best corn cheese; it's always perfect whether eating in, to-go, or delivery. The soonsal chicken is always crispy and flavorful; the dipping sauce is delicious. La Galbi is cooked to perfection and tasty. We also enjoy the banchan, and it's super easy to get more by pressing the button to alert them.

We liked eating here and enjoyed our food. The service was great, food came out quick, and everything was tasty. Would definitely recommend coming here for decently priced Korean food.

Yelp
decent korean restaurant! price was more expensive than most korean restaurants i've been to. our rice was between warm and room temperature :/ thought getting the combo was gonna save more money but i think we would've been better off getting separate items
