The 19 Best Caribbean Restaurants & Takeaways In London - London - The Infatuation

"One Love Kitchen is a casual Jamaican spot on Crouch Hill that went from street food stall to bricks and mortar site in the midst of the pandemic. Certified wrap artistes, their jerk chicken wrap is smoky, spicy, tender, filling, and so many other things that will have you walking up the street with garlic sauce down your top and a big old smile on your face. If you’re swinging by in the evening for a proper sit-down situation, get involved in the curry goat or pair the brown stew fish with an episode of your favourite podcast for a top solo dinner experience." - jake missing, heidi lauth beasley

"Comfort order: Grilled jerk chicken wrap. People say that love is all you need. That’s not true. You also need One Love Kitchen because last time we checked love can’t deliver you jerk chicken when you’re one inspirational ‘new normal’ bank advert away from smashing up your TV. A Caribbean market stall with spots in Crouch Hill, Fenchurch Street, and Maltby Street, their jerk chicken lunchtime wrap is what you really want to get involved in. One Love Kitchen - Review - Crouch End - London - The Infatuation

"Whoever said breakfast is the most important meal of the day has clearly never met us in the midst of a 2pm no-lunch hangry tantrum when we start signing off emails with ‘bye or something’. Yes, lunch is very important. It’s the meal that gets you to dinnertime. One place we love to hit up for a seriously satisfying lunch situation is One Love Kitchen, a casual Caribbean spot on Crouch Hill that went from street food stall to bricks and mortar site in the midst of the pandemic. Certified wrap artistes, their £8 jerk chicken wrap is smoky, spicy, tender, filling, and so many other things that will have you walking up the street with garlic sauce down your top and a big old smile on your face. If you’re swinging by in the evening, get involved in the curried goat or pair the brown stew fish with an episode of your favourite podcast for a top solo dinner experience. Because yes, we do think dinner is important too. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

When I was in London for a day, I wanted to try out this spot, as I’ve seen on social media that they do amazing Caribbean food. As I entered, I felt welcomed, and was served by a friendly and caring guy. I ordered a curry goat burrito, and it was DELICIOUS! All the flavours were hitting, the curry goat was succulent, and the sauce on side made it 10x better! The overall service was 10/10, and would certainly visit again, I highly recommend! 💯

Amazing food! First time I tried Jamaican food and I’m really happy we went to One Love Kitchen. Leon was very kind and gave us some amazing recommendations. We had jerk chicken and oxtail and the flavours were out of this world! Highly recommend 5/5

Traveled down from Leicester for an event, and we wanted some good jerk chicken soo looked online beforehand and came across this place, thought we would check it out, the service was fantastic, staff was very friendly, and chatty made us feel very welcome, we chose to eat in, food took about 15mins to come out, the atmosphere was relaxed. Wasn't in a bad location and was easy to find, the jerk chicken was very flavoursome and both the chicken rice and steamed veg was cooked to perfection, the extra jerk sauce on the side was also a nice touch I would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely Delicious! The food here is incredible! The oxtails are perfectly cooked — they melt in your mouth with every bite, tender and full of flavor. The plantains are super sweet and perfectly caramelized — such a treat! The sauce adds a rich, authentic flavor to the rice and peas, tying everything together beautifully. Every bite was satisfying and packed with delicious Caribbean flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Google
The best Caribbean restaurant I’ve been to hands down. This place needs way more recognition for its food! - We chose the platter and it was all delicious. A side each and a business lunch. Was the perfect amount and very fairly priced. Came for a date night, quaint little place. Intimate with nice relaxing background music.

Overall, it was a very delicious meal. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. We'll be back to try other dishes on the menu, I'm sure we want to be disappointed.

My friends and I have had this place on our list for a while and it didn’t disappoint! The food was delectable and the portion sizes were top notch, none of that skimpy/stinginess!! (But I will say given the prices were on the more expensive side I would expect larger portions anyway) I think this is definitely worth the hype if you’re looking for tasty Jamaican/Caribbean inspired food. The only thing I would say is that their website is a bit misleading I don’t think you’d know from their online presence that you can eat in and you can’t view the menu unless you start making an order for delivery so I think that could me streamlined a bit more. Also, they say they don’t take bookings but when we turned up they said they were fully booked. Unluckily for us I think this was just a large last minute booking so not really their fault and they did manage to make it work so that my friends and I could eat in, whilst also accommodating the larger booking. If the restaurant was bigger this may have not been an issue. But overall great, great food

Food was great, really large portions, not too spicy but good flavour. Nice vibes with chill jazz music. Place was clean and organised. Guy working there was really nice. The only thing is it was a bit slow but if you’re mentally prepared for that then all good.
