One Night Stan's Bar Room & Divery

This place deserves 5 stars, and honestly, even 5 stars aren’t enough! My friends and I have been coming here for 4 years, and not once has this place failed to make us happy. Everything about it is great, the decor, the drinks with BEST prices, and the super friendly staff, even the security guys are friendly ! I never liked leaving reviews because I didn’t want the place to get too crowded, but when I saw it doesn’t have a full 5-star rating, I felt like I had to write something. Wishing the owners all the best, and I hope this spot keeps its simplicity and authenticity forever. We went for a cigarette and the staff covered our drinks for our safety !

What a vibe!!! Mac and cheese is to die for also shared chicken and beef tacos and they were a decent loved sitting outside, our drinks were very good and had a nice kick definitely would visit again

KAYE is absolutely THE BEST server I’ve ever had at a restaurant in a long time. Made my experience phenomenal, her energy and enthusiasm was out of this world. Because of this I will be coming back many many more times.

Love the friendly atmosphere. Food, drinks and service always 10/10. Hannah is a wonderful server who always has a smile on her face, making me feel more than welcome every time I’m at Stan’s.

Don’t do what we did, make sure you stop by for a drink or two or dozen and have a few snacks. We didn’t eat but heard the food was incredible. The staff are incredibly personable, friendly and beyond attentive. SUPER fast service and the music absolutely ROCKS! We stumbled in at happy hour, WE SCORED! Thank you we’ll be back again.

We walked by this little gem randomly on a Wednesday night and decided to stop in, and so happy we did. What a great time. From the extremely polite door man to the absolutely amazing service we received throughout the night. They were extremely tentative to our needs, ensuring our drinks were always full, counters and tables always clean, and everyone smiling. Great drink specials and selection to pick from. I love the decor and all the nostalgia along with the music. It was all a vibe. Carson, Ty, Makena, and Lexi, we really thank you for making our little road trip a memorable one. We'll be back for sure.

We had a great time here relatively early on a Friday night. I’ve heard this and that about the spot when it’s late and packed but I can’t speak to that. We simply wanted a couple drinks and some simple food at the start of the evening and the place looked cool from the street. It’s a bar, with bar food and drinks. If you want it to be anything more than that, you’re probably in the wrong place. The wings by the way were better than expected! For a casual early evening, it’s a good choice.

We have two friends in Calgary and One Night Stan's is one of their favorites. I can see why. Service is super friendly. The girls here are nice and they were patient with our group as we took a while to find the drinks we wanted. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was solid. The bitters were good. My wife ordered the Sip 'n' dip and she loved it. I think the best choice we made was getting jello shots. Jello shots make any place or night fun. Drinks are well priced and the bathrooms are clean too. The outdoor seating is nice and you can bring your dog. Can you hate a dog friendly bar? I can't.

We stopped in at Stan's and it was our kind of spot. The bartender was super friendly and the tacos were delicious! The atmosphere was right up our alley!

This place is awesome. Good place to watch the game. They have a bunch of memorabilia hanging around the bar that makes it unique. Service was great. We had 3 different servers looking after us. We were never left without a drink. Didn't try the food. Copperless Mule was great!!!

This place is awesome! It's a very cool atmosphere, kind of dark with retro vibes - they call it a bar room and divery (although it's pretty nice for a dive bar). They also have a couple different patios upstairs. The staff was great and food was fantastic and reasonably priced (for 17th ave). We loved the ginger beef and mozza tots and their fries are some of the best I've ever had. They also do up a fab hot dog. I would highly recommend this place for groups, we had an awesome time here.

Great place, delicious food. Excellent if you like paying for items you didn't order :) would think they would at least try to pick out people who have had too many drinks to overcharge but I guess the hustle isn't that sophisticated. Would recommend this place but ensure you pay each time you order.

What an amazing night!!! My sister, her boyfriend and myself went there just for a drink and ended up staying all night! Our server Gabby was amazing and also recommended amazing drinks! such a sweetheart, will be coming back because of her! Also the bouncer/ doorman Phil was also such a gem and so polite really made my night! All n all fantastic! Cant wait to go back! Much love.

Excellent service, awesome place. Staff here treats us great all of the time. Hang around here or show up after 9pm and it starts to get crazy busy. Doesn't matter the staff is always on the ball. I have eaten a lot of the food here and it's good but make no mistake that this is a great drinking hole. Daytime, early evening, late night! Any of hear is a good time for Stans.

Classic neighborhood bar. A little dirty but nothing that would turn me away. They have a nice selection of local drafts, and it seems they had a food menu, but did not advertise it very well when sitting at the bar. If ever in Calgary I would come by for a quick pint, however would not go out of my way for it.

Was in the process of paying my bill and had the debit machine ripped out of my hands by the asian guy working there. Been in the industry 8 years and that was a first. Super rude. Left immediately.

Shes a gem . A real beauty bar. Gotta love a joint that is 2 steps down...physically and socially. Dont change a thing. Best of luck to Stans given the mess these times are in.

Visited Calgary from Portland, OR and the name is what brought us in the first time. Service was amazing! All of the employees and the owners were awesome. Super fun atmosphere and really good food. We ended up going back a second time because we liked it so much the first time. Should definitely go if you're in Calgary!

This is just a bar, I really loud bar, with a line. I will say, if you have the inkling the food is far better than one would expect, so if you're in the mood for a bar, a place for beer, or whiskey. And you don't mind yelling at your friends we're waiting in line this place is probably for you

Jenny Took cafe of us tonight she was a rockstar. Her service was all around on point friendly attitude. By far the best bar on the block I would 100% return!!
