Chalkboard walls are filled with colorful notes from guests. Large orders of soju come served in a watermelon (which is now the only way we want to drink it). And reverb is just as likely to be heard from the crunch deep-fried chicken wings as from the speaker system. The sticky glazed, deep-fried chicken wings are worth pestering your server for more napkins, and the army stew will require reinforcements to be finished, especially if you add the soft, chewy noodles to the party. This Spring Branch spot’s devotees are usually rowdy birthday gangs splitting glazed, deep-fried chicken wings until 2am. "We’re just as likely to head to One Shot Pocha in Spring Branch for a 10-piece of wings as we are for an opportunity to sing a power ballad in their karaoke rooms. Each order is glazed with garlic soy or sweet and spicy sauce, and comes with enough crispy skin to constitute its own meal.
