While my son was at Taekwondo, I stopped by One Zo Boba to try their Brown Sugar Milk Tea. The drink doesn't include pearls by default, so I added them to my order. At $7.17 for the regular size, it's a bit pricey, but the pearls were soft and tasted good. Overall, it was a nice treat.

My kids like the boba here but this place gives me major anxiety because the lobby is very dirty with hand prints everywhere. I don’t think they ever cleaned the lobby. I just want to Lysol wipe everything.

Google
This is a great place for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and refreshing boba tea. They have a large selection of drinks to suit different tastes. I tried the Orange Green Tea, and it was fantastic – the fresh fruit flavor was perfectly balanced with the boba. The Egg Waffles are also a great choice, especially when filled with things like boba or chocolate chips. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of drinks and snacks, and the flavors are spot on. Here’s a simple summary of their menu: Fruit Tea: - One Zo Fruit Tea - $6.70 - Strawberry Green Tea - $6.95 - Orange, Grapefruit, Watermelon, Mango, Pineapple Green Tea - $6.95 each Smoothies: - Strawberry, Mango, Pineapple, Lychee - $6.15/$6.65 - Taro, Chocolate - $6.35/$6.85 Original Tea: - Assam Black, Jasmine Green, Roasted Rice, Honey Green Tea - $5.35/$5.85 Milk Tea: - One Zo, One Zo Green Milk Tea - $5.55/$6.05 - Black Sesame, Roasted Rice Milk Tea - $5.85/$6.35 - Fresh Strawberry Milk - $6.95 - Taro, Chocolate Milk Tea - $5.85/$6.35 Brown Sugar (with Brown Sugar Boba): - Brown Sugar Milk, Milk Tea, Green Milk Tea, Black Tea, Matcha Latte, Red Bean - $5.65/$6.15 Brulee: - Brulee Oreo Brown Sugar Milk, Slush, Milk Tea, Matcha Milk Tea, Red Bean Matcha Slush - $6.95-$7.15 Latte: - Uji Matcha Latte, Strawberry Matcha Latte, Black Tea Latte, Green Tea Latte - $5.55/$6.45 Handmade Boba (add to any drink): - One Zo Boba - $1.25, Honey/Taro/Strawberry/Mango Boba - $0.75, Brown Sugar Boba - $1.00, Lychee Jelly/Aloe Vera - $1.25 Snow Cap (Cheese Foam): - $1.00 This place is perfect for a quick, refreshing drink or snack. However, while there are a few chairs to wait on inside, the space doesn’t have tables or anything to relax at. But, if you prefer, there are outdoor seating areas where you can hang out and enjoy your drink. I definitely recommend it for its great drinks and prices, and I think adding a little more comfort inside could make it an even better place to spend time.

Google
We love this tea/boba spot. Mostly because of the consistency in the quality you’re getting each time. This last time we went in we noticed there was a new tanghulu tenant inside - did not try this time around. You can order from 2 different ordering devices (the tanghulu place has its own). Got the honey green tea and it was perfect! There are also a lot of new toy machines and a new photo booth (but was not in operation that day).

Google
This outlet is nestled in the middle of a nice strip mall next to LA Fitness. Competition in the boba tea market is quite intense and trying to stand out is quite difficult. As this outlet goes the ordering system on the kiosk is easy to navigate. Also their teas are quite good and boba are just right. Not much to go wrong here except that there might be only 1 person holding the fort due to lack of labor in general.

Google
Not for people who enjoy boba, just a spot filler at the shopping center. Pros: Boba is okay, it's fresh although not too flavorful. Cons: This is my main issue with most boba shops in California. 95% of these places source their ingredients from the same distributor, packaged in different wrapping. They use highly processed commercial glucose as a sweetener, highly processed non-dairy product as a milk base, and tea concentrate from a factory that comes in frozen bags, then, and poured into a pitcher with water. Most Americans are used to consuming these chemically processed foods so they don't mind. Unfortunately it's just not a good place to get a quality boba.

Google
I have been here twice. I liked both of my orders. I had the Mango Green Tea with mango boba the first visit. I had One Zo Milk Tea with crystal boba my second visit. I will go back again.

Keira

Google
The store itself looks super cute with multiple vending machines you can use! Boba was really good and the pearls were the right amount of chewy :) the people were very nice. Ive tried some of the drinks and the brûlée boba is quite sweet though so id only recommend it if you have a giant sweet tooth. :) will come again

Yelp
My pickleball buddy took me to one of local favorites boba tea place. One Zo Boba is Taiwanese style fusion specialty drink shop. Service is good and speedy. I ordered black sugar boba milk tea which has one of freshest boba - warm and just off the oven. It's not too chewy either. Soft and just right amount of chewiness. The store is kind of dark with cement look and not bright and modern like other new boba chains. Fortunately the boba, tapioca and drink taste is top notch.

Yelp
Boba is excellent, though make sure you select the right option--I've accidentally hit the honey boba because it was first on the menu too many times to count, when I wanted traditional boba. The staff is so nice. They are kind and friendly to me every time we go. No gen Z stares here lol. But, the best kept secret to this place is that the gachapon/claw machines here are NOT rigged and are extremely easy to play. I watched a woman win her first plushie from one of their machines and felt emboldened to try too. So my husband gave it a shot and also won a plushie on his very first try. It was magical. Just don't go for the labubus unless you're a pro.

Yelp
This One Zo Boba in Woodbury Plaza in the city of Irvine is a must-visit for boba lovers! Their signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea is perfectly sweet, with chewy pearls that are always fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the ordering process smooth and enjoyable. Even though it wasn't busy, it still took a long time to get my drink made. The shop has a clean, inviting atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a drink on the go or hanging out with friends. There's a cute bunny for photos and they even have a claw machine now. Overall good place to get some boba. Small indoor space to enjoy your beverage. However, large outdoor shared dining area that you can also enjoy your beverage out in the sun.

Marivic R.

Yelp
It's an okay boba place, first time here and only tasted the black sesame milk tea with taro boba. The milk tea tasted a lot like peanut butter not my favorite. The taro boba was a let down, the taro boba from Happy Lemon is way better actually has the taro flavor. Didn't really have any interaction with the staff since I used the self order kiosk.

Yelp
Your experience at One Zo will greatly depend on what you're interested in. If you like flavored tea drinks, just drive somewhere else. I've tried at least 3 different fruit teas here: no tea flavor at all. Just tasted like water-down juice. Their milk tea just tastes like your run-of-the-mill milk tea flavor. Similarly, the tea flavor is pretty weak, but it's maybe less noticeable than the fruit teas because of the other additions. On the other hand, the boba itself, is pretty decent. They even have flavored boba (strawberry, etc.). At first I thought these were those popping boba balls that they offer at some shops, which I think is a cardinal boba sin (*cough* Starbucks). But I was happy to be proven wrong. These are like honey boba that we all know and love, but somehow infused with strawberry flavor. Super interesting! So yea, personally I like strong tea flavor in my boba drinks and so this place was a let down. But if that's not important to you, then you may like this spot!

Yelp
Food: We are fortunate in this area to have a wide array of boba establishments, but that means you have to really stand out and One Zo did not rise to the occasion this time. Their tea tasted very pre-made and boba was okay/passable. The protein choice doesn't cater to any sensitives to milk because whey is the only option. Service: it was pretty empty in there and other than calling out our drink order, most of the store experience was spent on the kiosk. Ambiance: there are a lot of fun things you can try such as photo booths, gacha and claw machines, but at the end of the day it's a boba shop.
google avatar

Kwang C.

Yelp
The best thing about this place is their boba, which has a texture similar to small tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) - chewy, soft, and bouncy. 這家最好吃的,是它口感似小湯圓又黏又軟彈的珍珠。
google avatar

Starshadowli S.

Yelp
The shop had a very strong bleach smell when we first walk in. It's also kinda confusing when no one's there to help with the order. Drink wise it's ok, I believe it's premade Don't think I would ever come back.
google avatar

Trisha V.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out and I'm so happy i did, it was so cute in here and the drink options were amazing. The drinks were so good and refreshing and the boba was made perfectly. They even had a cute claw machine and even a photo booth. This was a fun spot and definitely going back again. You can adjust a lot of things like sweetness, ice level, and toppings which i love and you order everything through the kiosk and it was very simple.
google avatar

Dia N.

Yelp
I was looking for something sweet and refreshing while running some errands yesterday and this place popped up. Since I haven't been here before, I decided to order something I'm familiar with. Ordering is really easy and can either be done at the front or on the kiosk. I got the jasmine tea at less sweet with cheese foam. The jasmine tea was good, but didn't have a strong jasmine taste to it. The sweetness level was perfect for me. Tip: they don't have sweetness percentages here, just regular, less, and no sugar. The cheese foam on the other hand was super sweet so mixed with my less sweet drink made it taste like regular sweet. It's a small shop with no seating, but there's plenty of seating in the plaza's courtyard. I also love that they have cute arcade games you can play around with. Prices were pretty standard and overall, this is your typical boba shop.
google avatar

Teresa N.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this boba shop in a popular shopping plaza and was quite impressed. HOWEVER, the prices are quite expensive for just boba! It's expensive bc you pay for the drink which is already $7-8 and then have to add in boba which costs extra. They do sometimes run out of boba pearls as well so that's unfortunate. The inside is actually very cool bc they have a small wall of claw machines and is paired with a tang hulu shop, so 3 in one place. great for a date night!
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Went here at night on the weekend and it was pretty busy! The drinks took a while to come out but still came out at a reasonable time given how busy it was. I got the Watermelon Green Tea with Lychee Jelly! I usually don't get Watermelon Green Teas but I decided to try it. It was good but also nothing outstanding. Would definitely come back to try a different flavor!
google avatar

Ellyna J.

Yelp
Their homemade boba is perfection. Smells so good every time I walk in. Wish they have more non-caffeinated options for people who are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant or breastfeeding. But it's still my go-to spot every time I'm in town. Sakura Cha 10/10. So good I ordered it twice.
google avatar

Becky C.

Yelp
I used to love the variety of flavored bobas here, but lately, I've been enjoying their fruity teas more. Their milk teas aren't really my favorite, but the fruit-based drinks are refreshing and well-balanced. The location is great, surrounded by fun crane machines and a photo booth, making it a nice spot to hang out. Service is fast, and I love the convenience of ordering online or through the kiosk.
google avatar

Jhanelle B.

Yelp
So sad about the experience I had here. Ordered two drinks and it took 15 minutes for it to come out and we were the only ones in the shop. 3 people came in after and got their drinks before us. I already received a text saying the drink was ready but it was never put on the counter. So we politely asked and the male (im assuming he was training someone) said , "its coming out" and walks away. He then turns around and grabs a drink that has been sitting on the back counter for a few minutes and puts both of our drinks on the pickup counter then apologizes. I do appreciate the apology, but after tasting the drinks... they sucked so bad. I got the jasmine lychee w taro boba. Idk if they added aloe to the bottom too (???) but i didnt like it. The taro boba was ok, nothing too different than regular boba. Its just purple lol. We also had a brown sugar milk tea, which wasnt sweet at all. You can adjust the sweetness level so maybe try that. $20 for two drinks w boba and protein added. Not worth it.

Yelp
One Zo has good/above average boba. Easy to order and drinks come out quickly. Good seating options outside in the Woodbury Town Center. One thing that can be improved is the drink size of the smaller drink option. Way too small! Would still come back though, just not as often as other boba places.
google avatar

Archie S.

Yelp
Located at the Woodbury Town Center in Irvine this tea/boba shop has all the usual tea and some original drinks. There is no inside seating area here but there is a lot of outside seating area that is also heated if you're looking to hang around. I always have to get a Milk Tea drink with boba to gauge it as that is always my favorite drink in any tea shop I go to. Along with it they had a seasonal drink which was Lychee Tea Slush with Lychee Jelly. You can use the kiosks around or order up front here. The milk tea was just good and so was the slush. I always like the texture of the lychee jelly but it's one of those drinks I will only get once. They also have some snacks here like the Mochi skewers incase you want a snack. Decent place, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.
google avatar

Alyssa T.

Yelp
We decided to try this location because we were in the shopping center. There are only outdoor tables available and inside there are a few small benches where you can wait for drinks. There are two kiosks to order from and they have lots of pictures of drinks displayed to give people a better idea of what some of the more popular drinks are. We ordered our drinks and with the milk substitutes and topping add ons, it came out to almost $20 for two drinks. It took a little bit of for the drinks to be ready, but there were also very few people working that night. The drink was decent and the matcha flavor was strong, but it was a little bit too high of a price for the amount that they give you.

Yelp
While my son was at Taekwondo, I stopped by One Zo Boba to try their Brown Sugar Milk Tea. The drink doesn't include pearls by default, so I added them to my order. At $7.17 for the regular size, it's a bit pricey, but the pearls were soft and tasted good. Overall, it was a nice treat.

Yelp
Typical boba shop that doesn't disappoint with the classic flavor drinks. The boba is made fresh in the store so it doesn't disappoint. The service is overall friendly and quick
google avatar

Yelp
I love One Zo Boba, but I have to give a special shoutout to their frozen grapes -- they are so yummy! Perfectly sweet, refreshing, and the best little treat to go with a drink. I wasn't expecting to love them this much, but now I'm hooked!
google avatar

Madison T.

Yelp
In. Self-order. Lychee smoothie with One Zo boba. Drink made fast. Out. What's not to like? I really like that they make their own boba and will sometimes have different bobas made and the drinks are consistently good.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Was a bit taken aback by the low reviews here (around 3.5 on both Google and Yelp) but decided to give it a shot anyways. Found out the low ratings are probably well warranted and won't be coming back. As other reviews will corroborate, the wait time here was pretty insane. You order quickly and pay at the kiosk but that's how they trap you I guess - after paying (and being asked for a tip at a self service kiosk no less) I waited a whooping 30 minutes for my drink despite there being no line to order. Only after ordering did I notice a whole cluster of people at the back of the store waiting to pick up their drinks, some visibly frustrated. Just bad vibes overall. About 5 minutes after ordering I got a text that my order was ready but there was no drink at the counter. I didn't see anyone take it either. Not sure if they're just electronically marking the drinks as ready even when they're not for quality control purposes. Place is pretty understaffed and workers here seem to deliberately avoid eye contact with customers at all costs to avoid addressing questions. Had to try really hard to flag someone down. Then I finally got my drink and despite requesting less sugar the strawberry smoothie was still incredibly sweet. I'm a huge boba lover and really don't like to speak ill of boba shops but this place really needs to get it together in terms of their customer service and customer experience overall.

Richard H.

Yelp
The floors are filthy! Then I looked at the machines behind the counter, and they're also filthy! They have Covid plastic barriers still up. You have to order at self checkout. There was 2 female, and 1 male worker teens just standing around doing nothing. I would take out the self check out, and have a worker take your order. That's a more pleasant experience. Also clean up it filthy here!!!
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
20+ minutes for 2 drinks and 4 waffles. One person working. Behind food area is so dirty in there I don't know how often they clean in here. Would only come here if I was desperate. Like what the hell is this drink
google avatar

Jenny f.

Yelp
I ordered a brown sugar boba milk tea without boba and grape milk tea. The drink was very light and almost tasted like water. I wish I checked the reviews before ordering. Disappointing overall -- I wouldn't recommend this place.
google avatar

Samantha T.

Yelp
Ordered the brown sugar milk tea, it was good. Had a nice tea flavor to it and wasn't entirely sugary which is what I look for in a drink. Also ordered the Lychee slushie, that was good as well. The lychee jelly was good as well and not hard like other places I've been. No seating inside but there is plenty outdoor seating with heaters available on a cold night. You can opt to order on the kiosks that are available or order from a worker. Overall, a good place but probably not venture out to again.
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
They have solid fruit based drinks, and I also liked how they have unique fruit flavored boba.
google avatar

Serene A.

Yelp
handmade strawberry boba was amazing, when my friend told me I needed to try this boba place because of the flavored boba I thought she was crazy because I was thinking it was popping boba and I do not like that haha but I was surprised to see that it's actually tapioca pearls with fruit flavoring. The milk tea was good also. I'd definitely come again to try their other flavored bobas. It's a self service ordering system but if you need assistance they can help.
google avatar

Linda H.

Yelp
Do they ever clean this place up? It's filthy and sticky everywhere and all around. I also get the text notification way ahead of my drinks become ready. Just annoyed this is our most convenient community boba place. Could be so much better if they kept it clean.
google avatar

Paola Z.

Yelp
I've had it a few times and my honest review is I'm not sure how this place is still in business. Their bobas taste flat/ watery every time
google avatar

Rickroll ..

Yelp
So many great things about this place! The drinks are delicious and are a great combination of flavors. Boba pearls are nice and chewy and add lots of texture into any drink. Egg waffle and vanilla ice cream were a great combination. Perfect for a hot day! Service was speedy and I never had to wait long. I highly recommend One Zo Boba to anyone in Irvine!
google avatar

Ingrid L.

Yelp
Wow, I've visited many boba spots, but I didn't expect this experience. Orders are only taken through a digital kiosk, and it's not immediately obvious that it's the sole option. The place is small, yet bustling with claw machines and a photo booth, making it feel quite chaotic. The drinks take a while to prepare, and it's evident they use artificial syrups for flavoring. I ordered a regular brown sugar milk drink, only to find out there's an upcharge for each ingredient--$1.25 for brown sugar boba and $0.60 for low-fat milk. My total for one regular drink came to $9.30?! NO THANKS. I won't be returning.

Gisoo H.

Yelp
I am a long time consumer of boba and one zo may be my favorite especially the roasted rice milk tea... I LOVE one zo boba! The boba balls are delicious in the different flavors. The drinks are always yummy especially the chocolate crème brûlée or the fruit smoothies. BUT WHAT IM SO SAD ABOUT IS THEY DID NOT HAVE ROASTED RICE MILK TEA ON THEIR MENU ANYMORE?? pls don't let this be true and also it I was messed up to have the roasted milk tea on your banners but not even available to order pls don't take roasted rice milk tea it's too good and under hyped ~ I am not happy about this so I have not lower my stars for one zo... lowkey betrayed and gaslighted

Sheila T.

Yelp
I've ordered from this restaurant a few times through Uber Eats for pickup, and unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. Every time I arrive, I'm completely ignored by the staff--even when they make direct eye contact with me. On one visit, a worker walked right past me without a word, despite clearly seeing me standing there. Moments later, another customer walks in and is immediately asked, "Here for pickup?"--while I'm still left unacknowledged until I speak up. This has happened on multiple occasions. Most recently, two female employees saw me standing there, made eye contact, and continued cleaning without saying anything. One even walked toward the pickup area, glanced at my drink, and then walked away. Another worker came over, looked at my drink and then at me, and also tried to walk away until I said, "I'm here for pickup," at which point he just handed it to me with a quick "oh ok." A simple "Hi, may I help you?" goes a long way. It's frustrating to feel invisible unless I'm the one initiating interaction every time. The food might be fine, but the service makes the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming
google avatar

Zubir E.

Yelp
I am huge boba fan and had to try all the boba places. It's self order and I got my drink within 2 mins. Tried the Uji Macha with zero sugar and honey boba. The boba is a little too chewy and the matcha taste is a little watered down compared to the other places.
google avatar

Nehal E.

Yelp
It's ridiculous that I cannnot get brown boba in my fruit smoothie. I went to the kiosk to place my order-- mango smoothie with boba. I realized they only hand honey boba as the option to include for +.75. I added the option and paid. Went to the counter and told the girl that I wanted brown boba but it wasn't coming up as an option and wanted her to add the brown boba into my drink rather than the honey. I asked if it was the same price and she said she would ask and come back. She returned with a guy that spoke broken English. I couldn't understand what he was saying. The girl tried to explain that the owner won't allow the brown boba to be mixed into fruit smoothies because customers complain that the drink is too sweet! I told the girl that I want it sweet! I don't mind the sweetness! In fact I've had it down at the store before. She went on an in trying to explain why brown boba cannot be mixed into the fruit smoothies. Everything she said was nonsense. I told her bottom line, everyone's pallet is different. If I order something, it's because I like it. I made absolutely no sense that they would not add the brown boba to my drink.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
Fast, efficient, and pleasant. If the sales kiosk near the entrance is busy, use the other kiosk about halfway inside the store. Large taro milk tea with One Zo Boba, less ice.
google avatar

Lee L.

Yelp
I got a milk tea with strawberry boba, and the boba was sooo good! You can really taste how fresh it is.
google avatar

Anastasia S.

Yelp
Their boba is sooo good! I tend to not take any caffeine after 5pm and went to Onezo after work to check if there's any caffeine free options. They have a huge selection of caffeine free boba and I got the black sesame milk tea. It's so mind-blowing good! Give or take though, I'm a huge sesame fan and love everything sesame, but the sesame milk tea is still so amazing!! For boba lovers, their boba balls are really chewy and good too. I used to come here for good bobas!
google avatar

Andy T.

Yelp
Was in the area so thought I give it a try . Big fail ! First they ran out of cheese foam . Strike 1! Get your inventory together and plan ahead especially for the weekend! The staff member apologize and made my watermelon green tea without the cheese foam than messed up on the order. Ordered "regular sugar" and there was no sugar at all , it was so bland . Strike 2! Never again . Plenty of other boba shops out there .
google avatar

Mb L.

Yelp
Drinks were just okay. Service was nice to make sure the cups were sealed completely and for providing a bag to carry all my drinks.

Milly M.

Yelp
Good just wish they had more options to choose from for the drinks. Tanghulu is very good 10/10
google avatar

Gabriel A.

Yelp
Those claw machines they have in the front are a complete and absolute scam. I watched my two little daughters drop $28 into those machines for 28 plays. At least 20 of those games, the claw grabbed the item perfectly all the way around and easily pulled up in the air. However, once it got to the top before it moved sideways to the drop shoot, it just let go of it. I know this is how these games work and it's all just about your luck on whether or not you happen to be the one that decides to not drop. But 20+ perfect solid grabs all the way up in the air all in a row only to be let go is too much. These aren't even expensive items, they're cheap AliExpress knick-knacks. I am pretty sure this violates the California law for claw games where they have to be fair and primarily skill based. These were useless. We ate Panera and sat out front of the boba shop. We were there for an hour and during that whole time, not one single person won anything. The point is, any company that would have such little consideration for their customers tells me the type of business this is and the people who run it. So this isn't really about the claw games, it's about management and help bad they operate.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
The service was top-notch--the staff greeted me with a smile and took the time to help me choose the perfect drink. I opted for their signature milk tea with brown sugar boba, but I found that the boba wasn't as soft as I'd like it to be and the tea was just okay. I'll try coming back for a 2nd try!
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
We decided to try this place and it's not bad at all. The brown sugar matcha latte was delicious, better than expected. The store was small and not too many customers when we went (Friday lunch time) so we didn't wait too long for the drink.
google avatar

Korina S.

Yelp
At first I was disappointed they only had boba as topping, but I have come to appreciate the various flavors of boba they have to offer. I particularly like the roasted milk tea with black sesame boba lightly sweetened, a subtle earthy flavor. The taro and mango flavors are popular with my family. Great outdoor seating and other food options in the area. Great place to hang and relax with friends.

Yelp
This place will probably shutdown or need to close soon, Super slow and the fact that is self service and still ask for 15% to 20% tips. spent like $25 for 4 drinks and takes 15-30 mins. only 2 people work alone in sunday betweeen 3-4pm, Also Store look dirty and not organize not clean like others ,How can this buseness survive? and its in Irvine? Goodluck. while waitin for my husband was wondering takes 20-30 mins for the drinks! it was at March 17 2024. how can we give tips of servicee is so slow? and lack of staff? . 11:20 pm, Had a weird stomache ache, like cramp my husband and i felt it. This is the last drink we had before bed at 10pm. Not goin back, even this is across the street where i live.

Yelp
The drink i ordered was Brown Sugar milk tea. Even with the brown sugar Boba extremely bitter on Normal level of sweetness. Not worth it for me.. almost $7 drink and bitter taste. Not coming back.
