One96 (Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong) 7 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Having a whole hotel floor to yourself is a luxury that’s usually reserved for the high-rollers in the penthouse suite. Not at One96 in Hong Kong. At this super-sleek boutique hotel, housed in an eye-catching modernist building that’s midway between the Central and Sheung Wan districts, the glass exterior mimics the texture of undulating waves – every suite occupies a whole level. So you don’t have to share those panoramic city skyline views with the adjacent room. And you won’t have to hear the neighbor’s sound system through the bedroom wall. And you don’t have to endure that awkward wait for the elevator with perfect strangers — no, you’ll summon the lift from your private “lift lobby.”" - Tablet Hotels

This was my second stay, and once again everything was impeccable. One96 is located in a great position in Central. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with very kind and professional staff. The space is bright and welcoming, with independent air conditioning in each of the two rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality linen and a choice of pillows. I stayed for nearly two weeks, so having a kitchenette and ironing facilities was very convenient. While the kitchenette wasn’t extensively equipped, it included a coffee machine and an excellent water dispenser offering four different temperatures — a real plus. The shampoo, conditioner, and bath wash were of a particularly good, natural brand, and high-quality robes were also provided.

My recent stay at Hotel ONE96 marked my second visit, and I'm pleased to report the experience was every bit as delightful as the first. There's a certain charm to this establishment that extends beyond its well-appointed rooms and prime location - it's the attentive yet unobtrusive service that makes one feel genuinely cared for.||The staff demonstrate remarkable attention to detail that elevates the entire experience. They recalled my preferences from my previous visit - a thoughtful touch that immediately made me feel welcomed. The housekeeping team maintains impeccable standards, with my room kept in pristine condition throughout my stay.||What particularly impressed me was the efficiency with which they handled various requests. Whether securing restaurant reservations, managing parcel deliveries, or providing local transit advice, every matter was addressed with both competence and courtesy. Their recommendations for navigating the city proved consistently reliable.||I should particularly like to mention Kevin, whose professionalism and kind assistance contributed significantly to my comfortable stay. The team's evident pride in their work manifests in the quality of service provided.||This establishment has become my preferred choice when visiting the area, and I would gladly recommend it to those seeking accommodation where comfort and quality service are properly balanced.||With appreciation to the entire team at Hotel ONE96 hotel for another most agreeable stay. I shall look forward to returning.

Thank you to Garth and team for such great and fast service all the time. Was hit by typhoon 10 during our stay but they were most helpful in all our requests. |Clean hotel with very nice views!

Great location, walking distance to Central Market and the pedestrian bridge connecting to IFC. Many restaurants close across the street, some very good and cheap options for Hong Kong. Rooms are great, beds comfy and showers have good pressure and Malin Goetz bath products. Roof top is great for a quiet drink in the evening. Front desk and housekeeping are very polite and helpful. Ask for Garth as he is always working till late evenings and is very helpful and can guide you where and what to do in the area. Nice if can open the window a bit to let fresh air into the rooms.

This place is fantastic. Beautiful suite with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. It's right best to the station and central is a stones throw away. All of the amenities were top notch - bed, shampoo and conditioner, wine glasses, coffee machine. It was a very luxury experience. They also have a lounge and a roof top. I really recommend this place!

Price/quality wise a great find. We had a room on the 37th floor with a nice view. The room is very spacious (it has a small Kitchenette including nespresso and hot water maker and even a washing machine- that we did not use) and pleasantly furnished. The hotel was quiet and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is quite big as well. Do not expect a lavish lobby or restaurant in the hotel. It basically is your room and an elevator leading up to it. I prefer the spacious room over a lavish lobby. So for me this was a great option. Location is great too. Would stay here again

Only there for one night, so did not use any of their 'services', though there was a coffee maker in the room which was useful.Location is quite good - a few minutes walk to Sheung Wan MTR Station and the HK-Macau Ferry Pier at Shun Tak Center. We were attending an event at the Central Waterfront Event Space, which we also walked to in about 20 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
What can I say about one 96? I booked this hotel randomly using my hotel points. I did no research at all, I usually stay down the street. But I felt like I should give this place a try! I took an uber from hkg to the hotel, just because I was lazy. But taking the airpot express would have probably saved me some time. I had arrived and a kind lady with an Australian accent greeted me. As I prepaid check in was simple. I had used my debit card to pay, which I had thought I needed to use that to secure my stay, she informed me I could use my credit card and not be charged the deposit. She then walked me to the elevator and told me my room was 32, she went over the lounge, and the roof top. She then I asked if I had any questions? I had to ask room 32 on the 32nd floor? She said yes, I'm my head I thought wow. When I got to my floor and the elevator opened I looked around and noticed only two doors, one with 32, and an emergency exit. I started laughing in my head thinking wow she must have thought I was stupid. Now onto the room, when I opened the door it was 10pm at night. First thing you see is all the lights of Hong Kong, floor to ceiling windows. The room was very well put together! The kitchen was nice, washer dryer combo, they even had laundry soap. I walked to the room, and it was more then what I expected, windows on both side, to much closer space. The bed was comfortable, and I was also available to close all the black out shades, except for the window facing the peak, it was broken. The bathroom was nice, the shower and the door didn't seem to go well together. But the huge rain forest shower head was awesome. The bathroom amenities were top of the line! Overall the location is great, Mark Spencer is just down the street, the escalators are few blocks away, and the ferries are close. I do wish the tv was in the bedroom, and a tiny bit bigger. Also on the entrance to the rooftop deck a sign said emergency exit only. The staff were so kind and friendly!! The housekeepers kept the room stocked! I'm excited to stay here again!

Yelp
Love finding new places to stay in awesome cities like Hong Kong. This little gem has only been open a few months and I'm so glad I found it. It's more of a hybrid between a hotel and a serviced apartment. Each 1 bedroom suite occupies an entire floor. There are roughly 35 suites, all the same and all awesome. You get a living room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom with a king sized bed to die for. Super comfy mattress and luxurious bedding. The woodwork and the layout compete for top honors. A rain forest shower head tops the cool line up of features in the marble clad bathroom. My personal favorite feature is the high tech window shade system. Press a button and a shade lowers to cover the floor to ceiling glass. Another button brings blackout shades down for total darkness. A much larger than average hotel room, more like an apartment is what I want when I stay abroad. And that's what ONE96 delivered. Feel like a local and live like a king. Can't wait to come back.
