The chocolate babka is one the best thing I have ever eaten. As someone who has tried many different babkas from all along the east coast, this is by far the best!

Google
Have enjoy Oneg since I was a kid. The babka is beyond anything you’ve had! The rugelach and hamantaschen were great as well.

Jess C

Google
Seriously best chocolate babka ever! Just look at the layers! Very pleasant experience, the cost is by weight and you can ask them to get you a piece for the price you want to pay. The one I got was around $37, but you are getting the quality, this piece was much heavier than it looks. Must try!

Google
Stopped in on a whim - older guy behind the counter was helpful (use the plastic gloves if you stop by) and friendly (pointed out a nearby park where I found picnic tables) The baked goods were very nice - the babka was rich and delicious. Worth a try, you probably won’t be able to finish it in one sitting

Google
Delicious Babka, ~$10 for 3/4lb slice. Could totally be split across 4 people if you wanted to; it was amazingly really rich and dense.

Google
I honestly made it a point to visit this bakery, because I heard they have the BEST babka, and yes, it's true, they do. The double chocolate babka was amazing, and they sell it by the pound, so you can get as much or as little as you want. The gentleman running the counter was very kind, courteous, and sweet. Overall, it was a very great experience. The double chocolate babka and rugelach's are a MUST have. So cool that they're still family owned, too!

Google
I met this guy named Evan who traveled to Oneg just to bring chocolate babka to a dinner party! The babka was the best, and so dense / rich. Look how beautiful it is.

Alright, Bubby - sit down, be quiet, and listen. Chances are, if you are reading this, you have no clue. Welcome to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, home to one of the largest concentrations of Chasidic / Ultra-Orthodox Jews in the world. Oneg Bakery is in the midst of its literal world. Be respectful to the men working at this location; They are swamped. Yes - all the hype is true; this is quite possible. Why don't we just be honest? This is where the greatest Babka on planet Earth can be found. Anyways - You get what you pay for. They take credit cards. Parking doesn't exist; however, I was fortunate enough to see some on a Friday afternoon. Don't be a shmuck; they have one flavor of Bobka only. This is not your typical Jewish Bakery; again, they specialize in Babka; they have a few other items that are simply delicious. It is a school and an authentic place. It's worth the shlep! The staff was very kind and facilitated carrying my 4 Bobkas to my pickup truck. I made some people back in North Carolina very happy. Challah was amazing!

Yelp
I was a first timer in Oneg to get some rugelach, hamentaschen, and a kokosh. The vibe and the pastries were awesome. The treats here are absolutely outstanding. I can't think of a goyim bakery that has stuff like this. 1000/10

Yelp
The chocolate babka from Oneg Bakery was on my To Do list for years and I finally went a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. The shop is small and unassuming but you're not there for the ambiance or the decor. It's all about the babka and it is excellent. Just go and get it. I really like the babka from Zaro's and Breads Bakery, but Oneg is better.

Yelp
Loved the babka and Ruglach Door dash wasn't working, they fixed it as soon as I called

Lisa K.

Yelp
Super delicious baked goods and such friendly proprietors! Even talked to my elderly father on Facetime in Yiddish! The chocolate babka is to die for! Rugelah is three flavors wonderful too. Fluffy challah as well. Worth a special stop. Enjoy!

Yelp
The babka is a 10. The pastries are also delicious. Pricey but the quality can't be beat. Service was fine, not friendly but I didn't expect it.

Yelp
This is the OG babka spot. The babka is huge so they sell them a portions. We took away a half portion of babka which was still twice the size of most other babkas. A half babka probably feeds about 8. I'm not sure if they sell quarters or even eights, but that would be closer in size to what I'd typically buy from elsewhere. The babka is ultra rich, super dense, yet not sweet. It's actually a bit on the bitter side and sort of gave me some raisiny notes. Altogether, it's a very unique experience that I enjoyed.

Yelp
I visited during COVID season. Place is packed with no mask on. I am indeed terrified. But food is much more important than getting COVID. I bravely quickly stepped in and welcomed by the friendly owner. I ordered whatever they offered and pay the cash Anyway this is something crazy. Their sweets are very old school and with some best quality in nyc. I sincerely hope they can wear masks so I can come back soon. Or I then have to wait til COVID is over. Overall:4.5 stars. Its weighted by pounds

Yelp
The double chocolate babka is far and away the best I've ever had. It is moist and gooey on the outside and has a nice crisp on the outside. I'be ordered the full sized babka five or so times and it is consistently excellent. Other babkas do not compare in my opinion. I have not been to the physical location so I cannot comment on the service or the ambiance.

J M.

Yelp
The babka is is sooo good!!! Soft and goey on the inside. Its a large size, nice to share or bring to a holiday get-together

Yelp
The double chocolate babka changed my life. It's not cheap, and that's a good thing!!!

Yelp
Cannot get enough of the wonder double chocolate babka. The ring babka is a show stopper at any event. I enjoy gifting it across country with Goldbelly.

Yelp
Yooooooo this was the bomb! So I don't think I've ever had babka before. My friend was raving about this place and that she had to take me here before I head back home. She's a great friend. It's a small place so we waited until the person inside left as a courtesy. My friend told me they sell the babka per lb. I decided to get 1/4 of the whole loaf of the double babka to take home. I wanted to try the other pastries but man that babka was heavy! When we got home, my friend gave me a slice and I heated up a little bit and that was a great decision. The caramelization was mmmmm so good. A thin slice is filling but you'll keep wanting for more! The double chocolate one was the way to go. If you're wondering how long it lasts if you put in the fridge, it'll last for more than a week. Yes I was able to practice some restraint in devouring all of it in 3 days of maybe less. Now either I have to bug my friend to bring some home for me or I'll have to fly there to grab some babka errrr I mean visit my friend. Yes I know they ship but any excuse to travel right?

Yelp
OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! Not sure why 'Yelpers report this location has closed' because as of 9/3/2021 they are very much still open! Seeing that notification gave me a panic attack because I will detour out of my way to get their Babka whenever I'm in New York. I called the shop to make sure they were open and the man who answered had no idea why I'd even think to ask. "Of course we're open! Come!" He beckoned. I went in person and confirmed. They are in fact open :) Owners/staff are super friendly, and the babka is delicious. Best in New York from what I can tell. Freshly baked and rich with chocolate. I gift it to my Jewish friend(s) and it's always a hit. The smell of the shop is breathtaking -- all the breads and baked goods send me to special place (see photos). I've been here now a handful of times and 100% will continue coming back.

Yelp
I wish I took pictures of my goods, but I couldn't wait and dug in. I got these mini pastries that looked like a crescent roll and another one that looked like a cinnamon roll. But in all honesty, I came here for one thing.... Their Babka. I walked 2 miles from my hotel to this Bakery and walked my goods 2 miles back. It was definitely worth it. The babka was loaded with chocolate it was more chocolate than bread for sure. Swirls and swirls or never ending chocolate it was an absolute dream. The other pastries I got were also delicious but tasted like a mini version of my babka. Definitely make a trip to Oneg bakery for a yummy experience.

Yelp
Oneg Bakery is the real deal Jewish Bakery with babka worth' driving 20 minutes off your path for.. which I just did. Wow. Love good Jewish bakery and this is the real McCoy well not McCoy but this is it. Babka (chocolate) so good looking you feel bad to ask them to break one up but they kindly do and did. The whole one is huge and good if bringing or having company. Jacob one of the Oneg patriarchs was so helpful , makes me want to go back just to say hi. Happy days picking up some cinnamon rugelach and hamentachen. Got extra to share with my companion and to send some home with. Bookmark this real deal bakery and make a pilgrimage.

Yelp
You know NYC is the rat mecca of the US. All those fantasies you have about raining trash come true in this city. The indulgence almost feels wrong. And so does this babka. Then you realize babka is supposed to be like this - perfectly marbled but mostly chocolate, dense but delicate, and gooey. No signs of dryness with 0% disappointment. Let the yeast melt in your mouth. You walk around the Hasidic neighborhood, see the Oneg sign on Lee Ave, go in, say how many lbs you want (I ordered 1/4 of a lb - that's enough for you and 1-2 other rats), and you get to take home this treat that will change your outlook on babka til you die. I was too preoccupied with the babka but the other items looked really tasty and I'll def be coming back.

Yelp
One Bakery. Finally made it to the Babka promised land in the heart of orthodox Williamsburg Brooklyn. This is a no bull no frills orthodox jewish bakery that is known to make some of the best babka in NYC. You walk in and you tell the man behind the counter what you want and you leave satisfied. For some reason on my only visit here I went and ordered some different version of babka which was not like many of the pictures on here. It wasn't big or square. I got some sort of a flat loaf. Taste wise whatever it was, it tasted like a babka but didn't look like what I was normally accustomed to. It was gooey, chocolatey, and definitely tasted fresh. Wowza! My slice was $11! I'll be back but next time I want the big slice of babka like everyone else gets!
google avatar

Nadia H.

Yelp
The babka here is amazing! It is very chocolatey and was pretty fresh. The edges were nice and crispy as well! I spent about $20 for a 1/4 loaf and it was more than enough for me! The workers all seem very friendly as well. I will mention that no one in the area wears masks so if you are worried about COVID, I would not recommend coming here!

Jodi S.

Yelp
The Chocolate Babka is the perfect choice best anywhere, ever! Worth the trip to Brooklyn. Plan ahead. Being an Orthodox Jewish bakery, they close early on Fridays and are closed on Saturdays for Shabbat.
google avatar

Melissa W.

Yelp
The double chocolate babka is the best babka in the world. I've tried a dozen babkas in NYC and this one wins the prize.

Karen K.

Yelp
Hands-down the best babka in NYC, which, by definition, means the best on the planet. Keep your fancy-shmancy butter-based babka--sometimes things are meant to be pareve. Try both the chocolate and double-chocolate and decide from there whether or not you have a favorite. In addition, the onion pastry is delicious, as are the doughnuts. They also have a nice selection of challah, including spelt. Oneg really IS a "heimishe bakery"; the staff is very pleasant. And incidentally, it's not a far walk from the Hewes St. station on the M--don't bother with Google's bizarre directions to get off at Marcy Ave. and take a bus from there. I actually looked at a map and went with Hewes St., only to be told by the Oneg guys not to take Marcy Ave. Great minds really DO think alike.

Yelp
When it comes to Babka, eat Oneg's, or eat nothing, yes, its THAT good, its the BEST! I have this stuff shipped across the country, its worth EVERY cent I pay to ship it here. Is there local babka in my state? Of course, but none can even begin to rival the absolutely decadent, chocolatey, deliciousness that is Oneg's. And if youre going to do it, do it right, get the double chocolate and buy the whole damned loaf, I guarantee you will have NO leftovers.

Yelp
Empty around 4PM on a Wednesday. Pros: -Babka by the slice -Incredibly nice staff! They threw in a free rugelach with my order -They also have donuts (though I was in a rush and didn't snag one) Cons: -Small place, no seating -- Chocolate Babka ($13.35 for a "slice") It's more accurate to say this is sold by the chunk, given the heaping portion they give you. As everyone has mentioned, it's incredibly chocolatey. The texture is thick, chewy, and a grainy from sugar so it tastes like chewy brownie batter. You risk choking on this if you eat it as fast as I did, but if this was the last thing you ate, you'd probably be pretty okay with it. There was a bit of white thread in my chunk, so take a quick look before diving in. The Rugelach is not super sweet (which is nice) but the texture is closer to that of a dinner roll. Worth a stop if you're a Babka fan!

Yelp
I've been going to physical therapy in South Williamsburg which is the Orthodox Jewish area of Brooklyn. My doctor was talking about the best Jewish bakeries in the area. I also googled the top bakeries and I saw Oneg & double chocolate bobka. When I saw a pic of the bobka I felt I needed to try. Holy cow! I'm glad I did. This double chocolate bobka is one of the best desserts I've had in my life. As Levain is to chocolate chip cookies, Oneg is to bobka. The baker is a Picasso of his art form. And the owner was such a sweet, welcoming gentleman.

Yelp
We bought a full loaf of chocolate babka, rugelach, and assorted cookies. Delicious. The babka is absolutely to die for, so chocolatey. The babka and rugelach were a request from my mom back home. The man at the counter was very helpful and nice. Very pleasant. I recommend the babka from this Jewish bakery in NYC.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
WOW. From the moment I stepped into the tiny storefront, I was enveloped in the most amazing scent no candle could ever replicate. There were cookies and rugelachs and tons of other pastries but my eyes were on the famed chocolate babka. At $9.99/lb, you can decide how large of a slice you need but be forewarned: the babka is insanely rich and decadent-- it will last for days. The chocolate is distributed in mesmerizing swirls that keeps the pastry moist and chewy. The cinnamon streusel also adds some nice textual contrast to the babka. If you can't make the journey to South Williamsburg for Oneg Bakery's chocolate babka, they're available via Goldbelly!

Yelp
I bought the rainbow cake for 39.00 it said receive one cake. It weighed 1 and 1/2 lbs. 26.00 a lb. almond flavor ,dark chocolate Could not tell if milk chocolate or dark , it was so paper thin. Cake had no flavor. 1 and 1/2 inches high . I could not believe what I was seeing and tasting . Cake dry maybe I just happen to order something that is not your specialty. But, my 39.00 was my specialty ,

Yelp
This babka is amazing - one of the best I've had in my life. The place is definitely hole in the wall Eastern European place in the heart of Brooklyn and 100% worth the trek. Such gooey chocolate! Probably one of the reasons why they are so good is because the owners are FROM the place where babka originated (I want to say Hungarian)
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
Extraordinary. Definitely the best babka with the most layered, complex flavors/textures I've ever had. I love that with each bite, you get a bit of crunch, a bit of chewy softness, that heavenly chocolate-y sweetness but also rounded out a bit by some saltiness. It's dense, it's decadent, it's rich. You probably will have to eat the entire "slice" over a couple of sittings. A little out of the way and honestly, pretty expensive (my slice was $12 - cost is by weight, though to be fair, my slice will probably last me at least 3-4x). But so worth it. Don't miss out.
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
I've been dreaming of this legendary babka for weeks. The gooey center, the layers of dough, the flaky crust around the edges. Got here early in the morning on a Friday when it's freshly made for Shabbat, the street so busy with people shopping and cooking for the big Friday night meal. This babka is the most chocolatey of all in New York and it's so dense, you can actually stretch it like a fruit roll-up! The employees are kind and the walls are lined with shelves of fluffy challah, cinnamon rolls and braided chocolate danishes. My surprise favorite: the braided chocolate danish! Less rich and chocolatey than the babka, but fresh and fluffy and fudgey still. All you need is a slice of babka and this danish and your sweets stash will be good for the weekend! 5 stars!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
OMG--this is the holy grail of chocolate babka. I have had many babkas around the city, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The doughy, chocolatey texture is to die for as each bite is just packed with flavor. Overall, you need to get yourself to this bakery and be sure to walk around the neighborhood a bit as well.
google avatar

Marco M.

Yelp
My wife got a bunch of stuff for herself and for my cousins. Hamentashen, babka and a rich marble cake. The owner was helpful and even carried her bag out to the car.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
I went in for the Hamantashen, but ended up with one spectacular chocolate babka, two dozen onion pockets to freeze in dry ice and send home, and some really tasty rugelach. I was a bit bothered by seeing maskless customers and staff members alike, thus my four stars instead of five. (I'd usually give five to a bakery of this caliber, but . . .)

Yelp
I've heard so much about Oneg's babka, that I finally took a detour to visit, and it was well worth the trip. I had one slice of the regular chocolate and one of the extra chocolate. I'm a huge chocolate lover, but in this instance, I think I actually preferred the regular babka, which already has so many intricate layers and is very rich on its own. The extra chocolate babka seemed to have more chocolate than bread, making it extra decadent and chewy (and sticky). Both were good, but the regular babka already has more chocolate than any other babka I've had, and I do want some bread/pastry, otherwise I might as well buy a good chocolate bar. Note that they sell by weight, and each slice looked manageable, but given how heavy and dense they are, there was plenty to go around and share with a friend or three, which is good since my two slices came out to about $20.
google avatar

Sabrina D.

Yelp
I've dreamed about coming here for weeks before my short visit to NYC - forget about visiting the Met, MOMA or DUMBO, Oneg was going to be the highlight of my trip and I was determined! Come hell or high water, I was going to get my hands on some chocolate babka (spoiler: I did). Upon entering, the warm and comforting smell of chocolate enveloped me, and to my utter delight, the entire back wall was lined with rows of fresh chocolate babka. The babka is made in long loaves and can be cut to your desired length. Warning, these dense loaves are sold by weight so the price can quickly add up. I purchased a chunk of dark babka and a chunk of regular babka. These 2 chunks were about the equivalent of one third to one half of a loaf and cost 40 USD. HOLY MOLY is this stuff worth every penny! While the regular one is fantastic, the dark one is definitely more chocolate than bread - made for chocolate lovers. This stuff is rich so a little bit goes a long way - my tip is to buy a chunk, portion it and freeze it for future consumption. Tips: the babka will make it past TSA and customs (for my Canadian friends trying to take it home)!

Yelp
The tiny bakery smells amazing, of course. I made the mistake of visiting before I had lunch and had to restrain myself from buying one of everything. I settled on their famous double chocolate babka. They cut me a nice thick slice and it came to $10 (they price it by weight). Normally I would think that's overpriced, But you're really getting your money's worth. I got at least two days worth of babka, cause it's so rich! As soon as you take that first, sweet, melt in your mouth bite of babka you're hooked. It's the best babka I've ever had! It's barely even a loaf, and more like pure, chocolate fudge in the middle. It's super duper dense! The babka is sweet, but actually not overly sugary. I could tell that they added a nice, healthy pinch of salt to balance the sweetness. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey, but I guess that stops me from buying and eating a slice every weekend.
google avatar

George P.

Yelp
Best. Babka. Ever. Get more than you think you'll want because you are going to want more after you are done. Very kind and welcoming store owner as well.

Yelp
I ordered mail order from these folks some Apricot Hamantaschen and they were prompt to package and ship as promised in a timely manner. They sent by Fed Ex and it arrived quickly. They charged a very fair price for product & shipping to their credit as well. The cookie was fair enough but unfortunately the filling has favor other than apricot that distracts :( For me its just not the taste I was looking for sadly compared to say William Greenberg's bakery filling which for my preference is superior and other old world bakery's turning out this iconic classic. The quality is perfectly satisfactory otherwise. The box is about to become a gift to my neighbor I am going to try their onion pockets as there are raves about those on a few sites. Hopefully that goes better :) Cheers

Yelp
The moment you enter the store, you can smell the amazing baked goods. Everyone is here for their chocolate babka. I made a mistake to come here on a Saturday when the store was closed the first time but I was determined to try their famous babka so I returned the following week. I got both the regular chocolate babka and the double chocolate babka, the double chocolate version is much thicker, almost shaped like a loaf of bread. It also weigh much more too (=more $$$). I love the rich dense chocolate and the chewiness of the double chocolate version but I found it way too sweet after a few bites, I took a closer look and noticed that there were layers of sugar within the babka. It would be perfect if they could skip the sugar for me. The texture was not as nice in the regular version but I found the sweetness to be just right.

Yelp
Ordered a babka through Goldbelly on 10/25 with scheduled delivery on 11/24. We had read so many excellent reviews and wanted the babka to be our special dessert for Thanksgiving. This is our first time hosting Thanksgiving and we had all of our family hyped up for the babka only to find out in the afternoon of 11/24 that it still hadn't shipped and will be rescheduled for Friday. Had to scramble last minute for dessert and needless to say everyone was quite disappointed. Friday noon got another update that it's been rescheduled for next week. What's the point of ordering a month ahead? Very disappointing experience.

Yelp
Came here today with my husband. We came to the Williamsburg area just for this bakery after seeing some of their photos on social media. The place was very small, and as soon as we walked in, the whole area was filled with the smell of fresh baked goods. We got the chocolate babka, chocolate donut with Boston cream filling, and chocolate croissant. There were so many different ones we wanted to try including the chocolate filled donut, cinnamon croissant, and onion bread. Chocolate babka had more chocolate than the bread... as you can see in the photo. The chocolate croissant had more babka textures than the regular croissant I was expecting, and the donut was very chewy and doughy on the bread part (my husband really liked it). Will come back soon to try more!

Yelp
Avoid the pastry straws. Chocolate rugelach was good. Pay by the weight. Chocolate babkas are very heavy. Err towards requesting a half or quarter loaf. But ultimately it was not as good as Bread's Bakery chocolate babkas. Even though I have a huge sweet tooth, it was more like a brownie or fudge than a bread roll with chocolate layers. Germaphobes, this place may not be for you. Customers put the smaller pastries in bags/plastic containers. I saw them use their bare hands. Also the staff was using their bare hands to move pastries from one tray to another. There was a glove box for customers and tongs but I didn't see anyone use them.
google avatar

Claire L.

Yelp
The best babka I've ever had. Truly amazing, it was chocolately and melty so good I've been thinking about it ever since. We were going to get a small roll but after seeing it we got the large and did not regret that until we had eaten the entire thing in 3 days.

Yelp
I admit Chocolate Babka makes my knees weak, and I've been meaning to venture to Williamsburg to buy Oneg Bakery's version after reading a Serious Eats article lauding it. Well I had a dinner with some friends in Brooklyn planned after work, so with a few hours to spare before dinner, I finally had a chance to visit Oneg Heimishe's Bakery. Even though I arrived late in the day (just after 5:00PM), the bakery still had the intoxicating smell of fresh baked goods. I could see so many delicious items for sale such as donuts, challah bread, cookies, various rye breads, but I quickly re-focused and spotted my objective: Chocolate Babka. This Chocolate Babka was pretty heavy in weight and after cutting a slice, the heft was visibly attributable to the mesmerizing amounts of delicate chocolate laced ribbons of dough. Chocolate flavor was deliciously strong and sweet but restrained, with little pockets of smooth chocolate hidden between those folds of dough. An interesting note was that despite the Babka's heft, it was not overly rich as the chocolate was the dominant aspect shining through. It's quite possible Kosher baking edicts omit the use of butter in baking, which would explain the absence of a "buttery" richness; I know many Kosher recipes use margarine. This could also explain this Babka being just a bit dry. I also have to note the pleasant streusel like coating on the Babka, which added a pleasant sweetness and some crunchy texture. Overall, this was an excellent Chocolate Babka, and in my rankings is just a little behind Zaro's more decadent version.

Yelp
"CHOCOLATE BABKA"!!! The magical word that makes people go faint just from thinking about it..... Seriously... The chocolate babka at Oneg is to die for and there is nothing in the world that could replace it! It's this big and tall loaf of kokosh (that's how we call it here...) That has probably enough Coco to coat the entire Air force one and still have some leftover Coco in the bowl... So when you try it, Devour responsibly! Freshness is never a issue as all of their cakes are baked fresh daily (sometimes my Babka is still warm... Mmmmmm..... I'm literally salivating while writing this review!) and the leftovers get distributed every night to worthy organizations. As for the bakery itself, it's pretty small without any seating (probably place for like 8 people standing) and could be crowded and an uncomfortable experience at times. To sum it up, Oneg sells the world's greatest Babka and if you're creating a bucket list of what to eat before you die then this should be at the top of your list!

Yelp
This tiny bakery in Williamsburg only sells a few things: babka, mini croissants (cinnamon and chocolate) and challah bread. This review is only for the babka. I purchased a loaf of it to bring over to my in laws for afternoon tea. One loaf us about $20 but can feed an army!! This babka is one of the better ones I have tasted in my lifespan of babkas. Very chocolaty. They use a pretty decent chocolate...I believe a semi sweet one which is great because there are swirls and swirls of chocolate. A thin slice of this goes very well with coffee or tea or even wine!! I would not hesitate to get this again for the next gathering. I do want to try the challah bread next time. That looked really good!
google avatar

Yelp
Oneg is by far the BEST babka ever!!!! It is worth the trip to this bakery. The have regular and then double chocolate. The regular version has just the right balance of flaky crust and sweet chocolate filling.

Yelp
I loved it the customer service was like no other ! Didn't expect to be treated so nice, i live 2blocks away.

Yelp
I stumbled in out of the pouring rain and the man dressed in Hasidic garb asked me, you're here for the babka? I was completely out of place in this neighborhood in my plain clothes, but felt like mishpacha in the cramped bakery. The man sliced one of these ginormous loaves in half and it was still my weight bearing activity for the day. The babka is a truly divine dessert, so dense, deeply moist, and chocolatey I could never eat anything but this again and be at peace. As we were leaving the man told us to grab a rugelach on the house. Toda for everything!
