Gordon Ramsay Relocates His Restaurant HQ to Las Colinas | Eater Dallas

"A new ramen spot in the CityLine development in Richardson offers noodles in pork, chicken, sesame dashi, and cabbage-soymilk broths, plus specialty options like the "demon spiced miso broth." The location includes a full-service bar featuring Japanese whisky, sake, and craft cocktails, and the concept's Deep Ellum outpost received high-profile attention when Rihanna dined there during a Dallas visit." - Adele Chapin

LOVE THIS SPOT! Been coming here for 3 years now and it never disappoints. Lisa and Skyler always do a great job and make sure everything is to our liking. The ramen is never overcooked and the spice is ALWAYS on point to order. Don’t get spicy food if you can’t handle it!!! Never had cold broth, vegetables are always still crunchy, eggs are always soft boiled and marinated to perfection! Love the atmosphere! ONI is BASED

The Good: absolutely beautiful decor and great location next to George Bush Freeway. The Bad: The whole vibe of this place screams "Daddies Money." There are self service kiosks where you must order yourselves, which as others have said, was a little disconcerting, especially for those who may not be familiar with traditional Ramen. The first sign of trouble was when it said there was a charge for any spice. I've traveled all over the world and never encountered this.It just smacks of nickle and diming. Suggested tip was 20%, which seemed average. Then I realized that you have to walk over to the kitchen yourself, AND retrieve any drinks separately from the bar! What am I tipping you for, exactly? Several tables had plates stacked that no one was cleaning, and the only "free" one had someone's trash. I cleaned it off myself. After getting the food (which was surprisingly quick) with a weird look from the chef (no idea why!) and then having the guy at the bar go through my receipt and finally figure out our drinks, we sat down and tried it. In short, VERY average Ramen. Mine was WAY too spicy to be "medium" but was ok, I guess. There are notices saying they won't remake if you don't like the spice level so I guess there have been issues with this before. That's right, if YOU, the customer, having zero contact with the chef, don't like the spice that YOU selected, then tough. My girlfriend ordered shio (salt) based Ramen which was WAY too salty. For over $50, I expected way better. I lived in Japan for over 6 years and this place acts like they're the creme de la creme, but if they opened in Tokyo they'd be out of business in a week.

Google
Place is nice, it's self service but bar has service, you order and they bring the food, really fast, the food was ok, a little simple but maybe Cuz I ordered no spicy. I dunno.

Google
This review is for those looking at gluten free options. They have 1 gluten free option, and it’s the vegetarian ramen. It was a good meal, but I won’t be ordering it again; the noodles were fine, but the broth felt like it was missing some flavor. I’d love if there was a gluten free miso option, or even if there was some gluten free soy sauce they could sub in for some of the other bowls. Also, their boiled eggs are marinated in what im assuming is a sauce containing gluten because they took it off of my order. That was also a bummer.

Google
Did not expect to have bouncy noodles and flavorful broth, even for vegetarian broth, in Texas but here we go! Great spot with a huge variety of customizable menu options.

Google
I really enjoy the ramen here; the food is delicious, and the tonkatsu is flavorful. I love the ability to customize. The Oni Reaper is my absolute favorite. The only downside is that the location is quite loud indoors, making it difficult to have conversations unless you sit outside.

Mary N.

Google
I am really glad they opened a decent ramen place on this side of town! It’s right by my work so I can walk to it on a lunch break. The employees cleaned tables right away after people left. I only do spice level medium. Anything spicier would be too much.

Google
This was amazing. Best ramen I’ve had so far. The pork belly was cooked PERFECTLY—and I hate pork belly! It just melts in your mouth. Order the Kyushu Tonkotsu! I will definitely come back here in the future.

Yelp
We stopped in for some comfort food and this ramen spot definitely delivered. We started with the chicken karaage and deep-fried gyoza, and both were solid--crispy, flavorful, and great starters to share. For the main dish, we both ordered the Rich Tonkotsu ramen, and it lived up to its name. The broth was super creamy and rich without being overly salty, and the pork belly was tender and delicious. The noodles had a nice chew, and the whole bowl felt really well-balanced and satisfying. The aesthetic is very laid back and causal. They offer self-service where you place your order on a tablet or you can order at the bar, if you prefer a more personable experience. Overall, a cozy spot with tasty dishes and generous portions. I'd definitely come back when I'm craving comforting, flavorful ramen!

Yelp
Best chasu in town! Thick and caramelized. Rich broth, noodles are bouncy, & I love all the different spice options. This spot is self service so don't expect a server coming to your table but the food is good. Order at the kiosk, pick up your meal and pick your table. Ambiance is nice, spacious and clean.

Yelp
Oni is a pretty good ramen spot. Their ramen has rich broths with an American fusion flair (like their Texas mazemen). Sometimes, I share the ramen with my bf because it's a lot for me. The shop is pretty much self service, you order at the kiosk once you enter, and then pick up the order when your number is called along with your own water and utensils. It's a casual environment and I enjoy it. If you want full service the bar can take care of that for you! Price wise, it's on par with a lot of ramen shop and can get price with your extra toppings. Still, a good ramen spot!

Yelp
So so delicious! I get the vegetarian ramen and it's super customizable which is great. I think the medium spicy level is perfect amount but you can always get the spice in the side and add as needed. The shrimp tempura was a little mid but added a good crunch.

Yelp
First time trying this location. It was easy to find and easy to park. I picked this location because the other location from what I can remember is a hassle to park and I wasnt willing to fool around outside finding parking during this trip. Once inside you are greeted by the kiosk to place your order. The bar is full service. I knew what I wanted to order but it still took me a few minutes to place the order on the kiosk because I had to make sure it was correct since there are no refunds. We got the Tokyo Black and the Kyushu Tonkotsu add Naruto. The Tokyo Black had a yummy ancho chili sauce on top of the pork belly. The sauce was so good but it was ruined by the fatty pork belly. This piece was 90% fat and I had to spit it out. I hate that the sauce was wasted. The broth was piping hot and good. All of the veggies complimented the soup well. The Kyushu Tonkotsu was delicious. My niece likes fish cakes so we had to add it to her bowl. I loved the black garlic oil that was added. It's so rich and adds a real umami flavor to the soup. All in all I continue to like hipster ramen. This location does a good job in upholding the brand. Everything was pretty consistent with my first visit at the other location. Oni Ramen 1250 State St Unit 900 Richardson, TX 75082 (Review 27 in 2025 and 870 overall)

Yelp
This spot completely changed my mind. I keep finding myself ordering the Texas Mazemen, which is brothless ramen, and I love it. It's hearty, flavorful, and I actually enjoy working my way through all the ingredients without the mess of a traditional broth. The teriyaki boba shredded pork belly is packed with flavor, and the combination of noodles, meat, and fresh toppings makes every bite feel perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is also a huge plus--modern, welcoming, and a little trendy without being over the top. Pricing is very fair for the quality and portion sizes, and I always leave full and satisfied. Everything I've tried here has been consistent, and the overall experience keeps me wanting to come back. And the service is quick. Even though I tell myself I'll try something new from the menu, this dish has me hooked. It's become one of my favorite go-to places, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a spot with great food, great vibes, and great value.

Yelp
Super delicious ramen with flavor packed broth and excellent toppings! This location has a self service walk up but it's pretty straightforward and quick. I order the Oni ramen with fire spice and I should've took one to-go! It was THAT good. The decor is pretty cool with murals around the wall. This was my first time visiting and definitely won't be my last!
google avatar

Yelp
Chefs kiss! Best ramen ever.. or best ramen of the year.. I can't decide. You pay for your ramen first at the kiosk and decide on toppings, broth and noodles. Everything was good! The broth and the chicken. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I lived in Richardson for a year, and this was my go-to spot. I still visit whenever I'm in town. I love their Tokyo Black since it has a watery consistency (just how I like it) and is packed with flavor. They offer plenty of other options, but I've never felt the need to try anything else. Tokyo Black is my comfort bowl. You can customize the meat and toppings to your liking. You can also get the spice on side if you prefer to control the spice. They use a self-order system: place your order, wait for your ticket number to be called, pick up your bowl from the counter, grab a seat, and enjoy your ramen. Ta-da! They have street parking or garage parking. Dallas never disappoints when it comes to parking.

Yelp
Tokyo Black spice level 2 was great! Ramen always good here and like the atmosphere too. Will return again!

Yelp
Perfect spot for late-night dinner, affordable price, love the texture of the ramen! Personally love the tonkatsu ramen soup base more, cause it was not too heavy, and favorable enough.

Yelp
Food/Taste: 5/5 Quality/Freshness: 5/5 Skillfulness/Presentation 5/5 Value for money: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 (kiosk ordering) Setting/Ambience: 4/5 Oni is set at a prime location in CityLine, perfect for walking, dining, and socializing. This place has great bar service and the aroma draws you in before you're ready to order. However, the kiosk ordering system is impersonal and the majority of restaurant with the industrial-style seating seems to encourage an expedited dine-in-and-out turnover vibe. The walls display magnificent dragon murals and the kitchen is open, allowing an aromatic experience. Oni will definitely remain in our regular rotation, but only for seating at the bar for full service. Ask for Lisa!

Yelp
Interestingly there weren't many places open in CityLine on a Sunday evening, but Oni Ramen topped the list because of the chilly weather. I strolled into the restaurant around 6:15pm. It was a casual but modern looking establishment, and they even had a full bar. There were kiosks at the entrance where I was able to customize every ingredient of my order. I started off with choosing the base and then I could add to and/or remove from what's included. Because you do order through the kiosk, interaction with staff members was minimal. I believe I got my ramen sometime prior to 10 minutes, which wasn't bad for a wait. I will say that they did forget that I ordered an unsweetened green tea with my order, so I had to go back to them for it. I appreciated that Oni Ramen had vegetarian and chicken broth options since I don't eat pork. This means pork-based broth as well. When everything was all said and done, I had put together a $21.50 bowl of ramen that consisted of vegetarian broth ($ extra for making it mild), a soft boiled egg ($ extra), chicken thigh ($ extra), tofu ($ extra), mushrooms (free), toasted sesame (free), leafy greens (free but I ordered extra), and vegan/gluten-free noodles ($ extra). I felt like my meal hit the spot. I wanted something warm and comforting. That being said, I've had better ramen elsewhere. When I received the ramen, the chili oil was more on one side so I got the try the broth before infusing it entirely in the oil. If it wasn't for the chili oil, the broth would've been pretty bland. I ordered extra leafy greens and was expecting an abundance of it, but I was bummed to find that this really translated to 4 total pieces of bok choy leaves. They gave me a handful of nori, which was a fine consolation. The noodles reminded me of vermicelli, so I believe they're some type of rice noodles. The proteins were prepared well. The chicken thigh was very tender and had a soy sauce marinade. The soft boiled egg had the perfect runny yolk. Loved that they used firm tofu and didn't skimp on it.

Yelp
Mazemen = so so so good!!! I am actually craving it now! I do wish they would come down on their prices, but the quality was definitely there! They charge for the spices, too, which I don't agree with. I LOVE spicy foods, but I am definitely thankful that I requested the spice on the side! So yummy! Can't wait to order again and try other ramens!

Yelp
Food: 3/10 the food is okay, I wish they gave more broth and bigger pieces of meat. When they first open the food was fantastic with lots of meat and broth. But now I guess they are cutting corners to save on cost. Service: 8/10 this is a self serve restaurant so placing your own food, grabbing your own drinks as well as getting your food from the pick up table. This girl with the glasses and black hair kinda petite (I didn't ask for the name) was trying to find the order before us but remember our number and brought our food for us. That's the reason for the extra star, great job with that hire. Inside the restaurant is cool I do like the artwork very modern. But I probably won't be back and spend my money elsewhere since it's also very pricey for what we are given.

Yelp
Reaper ramen..best ramen on the menu (I've never ordered anything else) i truly belive both our lord in heaven and Lucifer set aside their differences to collab on this bowl of mercurial goodness.

Yelp
The pictures made me return, as if I ordered the incorrect dish the first time around. So I went again and did the signature miso with a couple of modifications and added the black garlic oil. Nope! Broth just doesn't have any flavor at all, and the pork belly was a little tough with a lot of fat this go around. It was, unfortunately, another disappointment, so I, for real, won't return. Gyozas were still good (I got those the first time).

Yelp
Food was AMAZING. Even if you're a picky eater like me, it's fully customizable and you can remove anything you'd like and for those who may think it's spicy, you can customize the level of spice too! I recommend "Medium" or "Hot" it definitely gives it that kick. Service here is super kind and very fast with orders and the workers seem to find joy in hoping you have a good experience here! Ambiance was great, vibes were great, the wall art and dim lighting is so cutesy! 10/10 Recommend.

Chris G.

Yelp
Solid 4 stars. Food was good. Broth carried a lot of flavor. Pork was tender with a great flavor. Noodle is tender and not over cooked. I'd eat again.

Brooklyn N.

Yelp
I was hungry today and I went to oni ramen to have some delicious ramen, they didn't cook the food well enough and made me feel sick, I'm feeling like vomiting right now, please don't ever come here, wasting your money
google avatar

Anisya N.

Yelp
I got their pork chashu-don because I wasn't hungry enough for ramen. I enjoyed it, the pork was tender, melted in my mouth with a sweet but tangy flavor that paired well with the green onion and rice. Portion size was pretty good though and a great value for money. Service was fast and the place is well kept and clean. Didn't receive a higher rating because I feel like the ramen is obviously a better test of the caliber of the place. Excited to come back and try it!

Yelp
The ramen here was tasty! The one I ordered ended up being very spicy though so just beware. The ramen was pretty pricey here

Yelp
Yesterday was my first time here and it was super busy at lunch time. I think it would help if they had a person helping with orders. It's a little confusing and slow your first time ordering. It also didn't help that one of three computers were down. Once ordered the food came out pretty quickly. The call your number and you go pick it up at the window. I don't see why it asks for a tip when they aren't serving or taking orders...but i guess that's everywhere now. I looked online ahead of going in and figured out what i wanted but i didn't like that there were no prices on the menu on their website. I ordered the kyushu tonkatsu (you will find it under specialty ramen). It comes with garlic and pepper spiked pork broth, with double pork belly, an egg, bamboo shoots, woodear mushrooms, mustard greens, red ginger, green onion, and black garlic oil. I was surprised that it was a dollar upcharge to make it medium spice level. I also ordered a side of deep fried gyoza. My lunch date ordered the oni reaper sub tofu- demon spiced miso broth topped with pork belly (tofu), bamboo shoots, parmesan, corn kernels, bean sprouts, leeks, green onion and an egg. I like that it's very easy to customize your order on the screen but it's not super obvious. It's easy enough to figure out but one feels bad taking long when there's a long line behind you. I will say, i haven't had a lot of ramen but i did really enjoy the food here and it is so pretty! I get excited about tasty and beautiful food. Judging by the crowd, I'm not the only one. I've been in a bunch of the restaurants on this street at lunch and the only other one I've seen anywhere near this busy is good union. I loved the vibe of the place. The art work is really cool. Will def come back and try more things. Also wanted to add that the outside of the gyoza was beautiful and crispy but bland on the inside- it tastes like nothing unless you dip it in the sauce.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Got the oni reaper ramen, demon spiced, extra black garlic oil and this thing go crazy. Noodles were perfect texture, the demon spice level is hot hot so be careful if you can't handle spice. The pork belly was torched to perfection and super crispy. Also ordered the chicken karaage and it was pretty scrumptious although got the crunchiest. They hook it up with the portions and you will definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. You order first when you walk in at the kiosks, and can really customize any ramen you want whether it's switching up topping, adjusting spice level, or ordering extra noodles or meats. With so many different options, definitely will be back to try the other broths. They call out your order number on the speakers to pick up your meal so not much to say regarding the service aspect. Restaurant was nice, plenty of AC while it's hot outside and clean bathrooms. There's even a bar if you want full service. Definitely worth checking out!
google avatar

Yelp
The CityLine location is much more spacious compared to the Oni Ramen in Deep Ellum, but the taste isn't quite on the same level. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed my food, but I wasn't blown away like I was at the Deep Ellum location. Parking is much easier though as there are some nearby free garages. You order at a kiosk and a server brings you your food. The ramen was very solid! However, the ramen egg and pork belly weren't as remarkable compared to what I had at Deep Ellum. Aside from those 2, everything else the ramen was comparable. I've also ordered through UberEats from here as well. The karaage and steamed buns with pork belly were fantastic.

Yelp
$85 for two bowls of ramen and two orders of pork belly steamed buns. In fairness we added some extras and got three canned drinks (nonalcoholic). $85. - Nobody greets you. Staff didn't even look looked up at us. The entire time it was as if we weren't even there. - You have to order at a kiosk. - You have to go pick up your order and drinks at the kitchen - I had to wipe my own table (gross..crumbs, spilled liquids) down with spray and cloths (two employees were bs'ing with cooks as I was doing this. Nobody stepped in to do it as they watched me and it wasn't remotely busy). - If you want water you can walk to the counter and serve yourself - If you need napkins and chopsticks you can walk to the counter and serve yourself Of course you're prompted to tip 18/20/22%. Obnoxious and distasteful. Pork belly was pretty good. Broth was good but skimpy to be sure. Small portions of noodles as well. Customer service was nonexistent! I mean, it was downright embarrassing...if I owned the place, I'd clean the front of the house out completely and start over with much (much) higher standards for customer appreciation and service. To be honest, I left fairly pissed off at the complete lack of caring, value, and customer service. We won't be returning.
google avatar

Matt N.

Yelp
Food isn't that good and there's no service since everything is done through the tablet. You would think the price is low due to all the money they're saving, but you would be wrong.
google avatar

Douglas C.

Yelp
Very satisfying and tasty meal. Spicy and flavorful broths. The dumplings were fresh and delicious. Cool ambiance and fast service. Worth a try.
google avatar

Paul G.

Yelp
This place served the best ramen I've ever had in DFW so far, it was better than ramen izakaya akira or kyuramen or kintrao ramen. I didn't care for the decorations as some of it looked like demons, but the restaurant was clean and the decorations looked new and nice. The restaurant was a self service style of restaurant, where you ordered from an ordering pad and get your own water and pickup the ramen yourself. The ordering system was not exactly easy for a first timer, but I love the fact that the ordering system allowed the ramen to be very customizable. I ordered the kyushu ramen and the broth and meats were very flavorful, way beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to come and give this place a try, bravo!
google avatar

Yelp
Small size for the price you're paying. Considering the location it is in, it fits the mold however i came in hungry and did not leave full. It was delicious and the broth and soy egg was great however.
google avatar

Skyy S.

Yelp
I am and always will be Oni Ramen's number one fan. I have been to the Deep Ellum location and this location did not disappoint. This location has a great vibe inside with amazing music. When you walk in, you order from a kiosk. This is very helpful since it is a step by step building of your ramen. I ordered the Rich Tonkatsu Ramen with extra Shrimp Tempura on top. It was delicious and the perfect spice level. They have an array of beverages and a full service bar. I decided to stick with a green tea and water which was a great pairing to the ramen. I finished off my meal with a cheesecake because I was feeling something sweet lol. It was surprisingly very good. It was the perfect finish to this meal experience!
google avatar

Bob M.

Yelp
DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. I REPEAT DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. THE RAMEN "broth" is nothing more than slightly warm water. I know the pictures look good but do not be deceived. The chase is the only thing remotely good about this bowl of hot water and noodles. I repeat if your looking for a deep rich broth TURN THE OTHER WAY AND RUN.
google avatar

Vincent C.

Yelp
TL;DR - ramen was decent but it was too expensive for what it's worth ($16-17 a bowl). The chicken karaage was pretty fire though. Not sure if I'd be back. Food - the noodles were cooked well, but I wasn't the biggest fan of my pork chashu just being this huge chunk of meat on top instead of small slices. The egg they gave me was also pretty small and it looked liked someone accidentally took a lot of the whites off while peeling it. The chicken karaage was pretty good though, nice and crispy with a good sauce on the side. Service - standard. Didn't really interact with the staff because you order at an order kiosk through a screen. Ambiance - it was fine and decently clean.
google avatar

Monalisa Z.

Yelp
Althing it's true that egg costs $1.25 extra, IMO that's compensated by the extra piece of chasu. Two pieces of chasu in the bowl! They were also very tender, fell off the bone tender. And they were fresh, no porky smell. Those are the 2 things that tick me off at ramen shop : tough chasu and the freshness of the chasu. Other than that. Everything else is standard
google avatar

Jerome T.

Yelp
My favorite ramen place. Oni Reaper. Medium spice. Add Steamed gyoza and drop them into the broth.
google avatar

Mariana L.

Yelp
I love a good Oni Ramen. I've tried a couple of their ramen dishes, ranging from medium spice to really spicy, and they always hit the spot. I really like their Kyushu Tonkotsu. The restaurant is simple and clean, which is nice. I also appreciate that they have self-service machines to order your meal, and you can pick up your ramen from the window once it's ready. The staff is friendly, and I think the restaurant is located in a great area. I've also ordered Oni Ramen for delivery, and they did not disappoint.

Yelp
Spiciest ramen in DFW! I loved the hot level spice which was ghost pepper. It was still super hot. Great dumplings. Nice service at the bar and industrial ambiance. Will come again!

Yelp
I'm not one to write reviews, actually this is like the first review I've written, but I felt compelled to write this one. The food here used to be good. I feel like the food quality has dropped a lot since it first opened, but that's not why I'm writing this review. Oni was formerly my sister and I's go to ramen joint, but we have agreed to not come back here because of the service we received and the events that happened our last visit. My sister and I both ordered Texas Mazemen, and that comes in a standard spice level medium. My sister had initially thought that she ordered a spice level mild (mistake on her part) to which they informed us that mild was not available for Texas Mazemen. She said it was way too spicy for her to eat. I tried her bowl, and she was right. Her bowl was ridiculously spicy, even I was struggling to eat the noodles in her bowl because of how spicy it was (I enjoy indulging in the buldak spicy ramen 2x as a reference for my spice tolerance). Now keep in mind, this is my go to ramen order and spice level which is a medium... It was NOT a level medium. It was closer to their spice level fire (I have had this spice level once before). This was clearly a screw up on their part. We told them twice that the bowl was way too spicy for my sister to eat. Their response? You should have put the spice on the side instead of the bowl. If you want something less spicy, order a new bowl. We have an "eat spice responsibly warning". I'm sorry what? Blaming the customers, for something that was a mess up from your kitchen is ridiculous. I understand you have a warning about the spice but when an order says medium spice, it SHOULD BE MEDIUM SPICE. Not hot, not fire level. After going back and forth with the guy, we just gave up. I ended up switching my bowl with my sister's. We left pretty upset, but we knew it was pointless to continue talking to the guy who clearly did not care. Also, if you order here and make modifications like switching vegetables, expect them to mess it up. The last few times we have been here, they ALWAYS messed something up in BOTH of our bowls. And don't expect the soft boiled eggs to be soft, they mess this up too. My sister had one situation that I will also bring up. A recent past time she dined here, she added bean sprouts to her order. When she received her ramen, SURPRISE SURPRISE no bean sprouts. She went up to them and asked for the bean sprouts. His response? "Oh we don't have any bean sprouts." Didn't even bother to tell her the item she paid extra for wasn't even available. She had to go up and ask them about it. Crappy service. Anyways, if you read all of this, kudos! Come try this place if you want, BUT BE WARNED. Thanks!

Yelp
I had higher expectations for this restaurant. P.S. the people that work here are goated tho & they are v kind to service workers the parking is sort of good - they do have parking garages, but they're not actly that big if you don't live in the area. So the restaurant is pretty spacious, and its self seating as well as self-ordering. There's tablets in the front for ordering. There's not that many items to choose from, but ordering a ramen dish can be tedious. There are lots of options to choose from, and I was surprised they charged more for the spice level. - this is not applicable to the Oni Reaper. We ordered, and the wait wasn't overbearing, but it was still kind of long - but to be fair it was pretty packed. This is what we ordered: Kyushu Tonkatsu Gyoza Oni Reaper Make sure you get the spice on the side - cause that shi go crazzzzy. I was pleasantly surprised by the two thick slabs of pork belly in our bowls. It tasted p good ngl. I was sad though because I ordered a soft egg in my bowl, but there wasn't any. :( I did end up eating my partner's egg - and it was nice and jammy. tbh the ramen was ok. my partner said the noodles were kind of bland and lacking in salt. for me, personally, i found it to be hard to eat as time went on. The broth got really salty and it just wasn't appetizing. for the gyoza, it was very crispy and had a good outer shell, but the filling itself was lacking in flavour and spices for me. overall i felt kind of disappointed just because I think the workers are cool, but i find the flavour profile of the food items to be lacking. & i would agree that the spice will hit for the spice lovers out there. tldr: ramen is alright - make sure to eat it fast

Yelp
The food was great, albeit our table had several issues with incorrect orders. I'd go back either way- the ramen is wayyy tasty

Yelp
First time trying this place and it was quite interesting. I really like that they close later than other restaurants. I get home late and sometimes it's hard for me to find places to eat that are not fast food. There's a station where you order your food or you can go to the bar and order. Once you order, you can take a seat and when your order is ready they'll call your number. The ramen was really good and their servings was enough to get me full. I got the Texas Mazemen which was on the sweeter side but was still tasty! My bf got the Oni Ramen and he really liked it. The steamed buns had pickles and pickled onions in them. Interesting, but I like it! It was a refreshing new taste and I would of never thought of putting pickles in my steamed pork belly bun.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy at all. Ordering process was done electronically on the screen, and the buzzer will alert you when your order is ready. Everything was easy and simple. I ordered a regular tonkotsu ramen and it comes with pork and vegs only. Some other ramen places include egg in your tonkotsu, but here it's extra charge. What really stood out to me was the ramen came in generous portion! I normally order extra noodle because kids, but I felt like I didn't have to in this place. If I could nitpick one thing, it would be the broth could've been richer imo. Vibe was chill, location is great. Glad I tried this place out!

Yelp
This place got nothing authentic their broth is artificial and also their noodles. I have tasted authentic Japanese ramen before and there are places that are way better around the area than here. The staff are not welcoming they also messed up your order is missing things. With the same price point your money is better spent elsewhere not here.

Yelp
THE BEST RAMEN IN DFW! The broth is so creamy, and flavorful. You order at the kiosks near the entrance, and pay with a credit/debit card (not sure if they take cash since there's no cash register!). They will call your number when your order is ready so you can go pick up your tray of food. Very casual ambiance! Good for a quick bite to eat. The Rich Tonkotsu had the best broth, and most delicious pork belly I've ever tasted in a ramen (creamy pork broth seasoned with Japanese salt & soy topped with pork belly, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, woodear mushrooms & green onion). Just wish there was more food though ;)

Yelp
Not bad, not bad, not bad! This is a hip ramen place in the heart of Richardson downtown. Close to business and UT Dallas. There are plenty of street and garage parking! This was our first time exploring restaurants in Richardson. But after reading all the great reviews, we wanted to give this restaurant a try. First! Everyuthing is self service. From ordering, getting water, and picking up your dishes from the counter area. On the counter you can also find extra utensils and to go boxes if you need some. Ordering your food was pretty easy, the menu and ordering system was very user friendly! You can also chose the spicy level of your ramen but FYI once you chose it, you can't ask to remake it because you chose unwisely! They also have huge signs everywhere! So always be on the safe side as even mild had a little kick! I wonder how spicy their highest level then is! We also ordered some of the appetizers and the were all solid (chicken karaage, tayoyaki, edamame). The broth in all of their ramen was solid. Deep, flavorful and rich but the only complaint I had was that my noodles were soggy! (A big no no for all ramen lovers!). If they could get the kitchen staff to get the cook time for the noodles right. It would have been 5 stars all the way! Decent ramen place, nice ambient, good menu! Solid ramen place!

Yelp
4 stars for the ambiance and quick service. The food was absolutely mid, i don't know if it was just what i ordered, but the broth in the Tokyo Black had BARELY any flavor in it. The pork belly was good, a bit pink on the bottom which was a bit off putting at first but it had the best flavor in the bowl. There's supposed to be a strong garlic flavor from the black garlic oil, but unfortunately was not there :/ the bokchoy also tasted fresh (?) like crunchy just washed and thrown in there and not blanched in broth/water. My friend ordered the Miso Ramen which was basic but at least had some flavor... overall, i won't be stopping by any time soon after this.

Yelp
I was excited to try a new ramen shop. After my first visit, I could not wait to go back and try a new flavor. The price of a specialty bowl is too expensive. This last visit, the pork was too fatty and almost had no meat :/ They need runners to serve people heavy bowls and clean up the tables - there was practically no where to sit upon my first visit. Still a nice environment to get some slurp XD

Yelp
Our order: 1) Light Assari 2) Signature Miso 3) Topo Chico/Lemonade The Food - 4 Stars: First time at this place and made the mistake of ordering 'Hot' with the Assari. I figured I was safe with two higher levels of spiciness on the menu. Woah! Boy was I wrong. It was 'hot' a lot more than I expected. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it as the noodles and pork were perfectly cooked. The Miso was creamy and loaded with flavor. The Service - 3 Stars: Self-Service kiosks for ordering and order number called on a PA system. Almost no interaction with staff or service, unless you sit at the bar for drinks. The Price - 3 Stars: I'm no expert on ramen pricing, but it did seem a bit high with $14 a bowl without an egg. ~$35 before tip/tax. The Vibes - 3 Stars: The bar area is probably the highlight of this place because their sake is on full display. The bulk of the restaurant itself is 'basic' tables in an industrial like style. Nothing 'cozy' or seemingly unique to call out. Overall, rounding down to 3 stars. Enjoyed the meal but nothing spectacular to draw us back.
