Me and my partner though we would try a variety from the place to test it out. We had a good range but my favourite was the kimchi and pork. The flavour was cold kimchi with warm pork and rice. Very enjoyable. I'm not normally a massive fan of Onigiri as it normally isn't fresh but this was very fresh and didn't have the oceany seaweed taste you can find with some lower quality products. For 5 dollars a nice filling snack or meal to enjoy. Place was a little hard to find but that adds to the wonder sometimes.

This lunch spot is phenomenal, so incredibly delicious, simple and fresh. It’s a bit of an odd location, but worth hunting down! The onigiri are made to order and they have so many fun and delicious options. Definitely venture out and try something you typically wouldn’t, the grilled eel is so good! I’ve also tried the chasu pork and the blue fin tuna is my absolute favorite. Currently working my way through trying them all. They also have incredible sandwiches, which you can also get half orders. The chicken Katsu sando is incredible and the mustard inside compliments the chicken so perfectly. It gets super busy around lunch time because of the office nearby, but when I’ve come at other times there hasn’t been a wait!

Tucked away in a corner of the 120 Collins Street building is this cute little onigiri restaurant. The onigiris were tasty but could have used more fillings or sauce as there was quite a lot of rice. Since the place itself is in a quiet office building, it’s not necessarily the best place to stop for a chat with friends but still worth checking out!

I really enjoyed their teriyaki salmon onigiri and have been back a few times. Grab one in the morning for school lunch and still tasty. Very few seatings, mainly for takeaways.

Food was delicous onigiri was fresh and filled with toppings and were huge. When I mean big they were massive Lowk lije the size of my friends (whos 6”6) his face. It was amazing the only thing that could be improved was the seeweed as it wasent very crunchy but besides that 11/10 onigiri establishment. However be careful as we Lowk got lost finding it.

It’s tucked in a corner nook, end of the building, keep walking to the back and you find this hidden gem. Beats Japan 7-eleven onigiri for sure! Rice was nicely done We tried 4 different onigiri: •Red miso eggplant -perfect balance of miso •tuna mayo - generous amount of tuna •teriyaki salmon- filling could be a bit more •blue fin tuna - generous amount

Got the salmon teriyaki onigiri and mushroom miso soup for $15. The onigiri is pretty big, feels like eating a whole bowl of rice with salmon Miso soup was also yummy Service was quick even though they were very busy Will be back to try more :)

This place might be the only spot in Melbourne offering freshly made onigiri, and they do a good job with it. The quality is solid, the flavours are well balanced, and some of the fillings are quite unique. The only drawback is that the seasoning is on the lighter side; the rice and fillings don’t have the stronger, more defined flavours you’d find in Japan’s 7-Eleven onigiri. Even so, it’s a very enjoyable option and a great addition to the city’s Japanese food scene.
