Super fun and delicious experience! You can customize your onigiri! Get the tuna mayo and kimchi pork! Miso soup is also free. I recommend doubling the meat. Serving is big Two is enough, maybe 3 if you are super hungry. Came in early around 10 am and there was no line yet. You can also get their ready made onigiri for take out if you don't want to wait in line.

The portions are huge! Each onigiri feels like a full bowl of rice. I ordered the top 1 and 2 most popular menu items, and both were delicious! great toppings and perfectly seasoned. The miso soup that comes with the meal is tasty too, and even the tea they serve at the beginning is really good. The person making the onigiri was very kind, and it was fun to watch them prepare everything while waiting. It was such a nice experience overall! 🍙✨

Surprised that we liked this spot so much. Apparently it is quite popular and I can see why. The onigiri were exceptional with so many choices. Staff were very accommodating and their limited English was not a problem as they clearly dealt with a ton of lost tourists. Small shop so eat and go, but that is part of the charm. Definitely a spot to search out.

Went here the other night to get takeout, which was a display shelf of onigiri to the left of the entrance. I took the marinated fish egg and the salmon mayo and they were delicious! Very big portions and the salmon mayo surprised me with how much salmon was in it though I wish the other one had just as much! Tasted very good even a day later. There were no lines when I went. Would definitely go back to try again if I'm in the area! Sorry forgot to take pics before I ate them but they come individually packaged in these onigiri shaped packaging which was very cute!

Onigiri Shop Mamma feels less foreigner-friendly at first glance, as the menu isn’t in English(they have a English but the items were quite different), but Google Translate works and the staff were very nice and accommodating. This place seems to stick to a more traditional approach. I ordered the beef + egg yolk onigiri and it was extremely sweet and salty — honestly, I wasn’t sure how anyone could eat it without the miso soup. The rice held the fillings really well, and they packed more ingredients inside than other onigiri I’ve tried. The salmon + salmon roe onigiri had the same issue: very salty, and again, without miso soup it would have been difficult to enjoy. The flavour profile is rich and intense, which shows the craftsmanship and tradition of the store, but it wasn’t quite suited to my palate. If you enjoy onigiri with strong, bold flavours and don’t mind the sweetness and saltiness being very pronounced, this place is worth a try. For me, it was a solid experience, but not something I’d rush back to.

Very casual onigiri shop that serves some of the best onigiri we had on our trip! They have lots of different flavors, and it was very easy to just grab some that were premade to go. Prices were very reasonable. I'd definitely come back to grab a snack before walking around the area. It was a little hard to find.

This was my second visit and I cannot get enough of their soy soaked egg yolk onigiri. Yes you do have to wait outside for a while to get a seat but the turnaround time is very quick. You get a cup of green tea complimentary, but I chose to add pickles and miso along with a combo onigiri. These are made right in front of you, they are so fresh, warm and delicious. Would highly recommend!

Good onigiri. I came here around noon on Sunday. The shop was full so had to wait outside, on the street since they don’t allow to wait at the front door. The shop location is a little tricky to find. The shop is small and can fit maybe 8-9 people so the wait was quite long. I tried to order online for pick up but they only give pick up time is an hour later. There is a shelf on the left side of the door where you can get pre-made onigiri without waiting in line. Just go in, get what you want to and pay. And I wish I knew it earlier so I didn’t have to spend so much time waiting in the hot of Tokyo. The onigiri is good, but for me, it wasn’t super special so not worth the long wait.
