Only One Jamaican Restaurant

1. They don’t answer the phone, maybe half the confusion would’ve been answered via phone. 2. Lacking of customer service; instead of assisting new customers they laugh at you making you feel uncomfortable. 3. You ask for something that is on their menu online … but yet they do not know what you’re asking for… update your menu then? 4. Food Quality… hmm Overall experience in 2025 was horrible. I’ve been here prior and was never treated as such. I won’t be returning back.

Brockton location, Best oxtail dinner I have had. Very tasty and flavorable. Portion was absolutely amazing! I ate 3 meals off that order. Well worth the $40+ for two orders. Will definitely stop by if in the Brockton area again. Highly recommended! Only complaint was they had no salt and pepper. It truly did not need it.

I have not been in this restaurant since it changed the name. The place was clean and neat. We went here early - 10ish in the morning so they are still prepping and putting out most of the food. I always go for the ox tails with extra gravy in any Jamaican restaurant I go to and my daughter goes for Jamaican patty. The ox tails was good, no complaints. My daughter said the beef patty was in the ”good” category as well. I usually rate the cleanliness of the bathroom but in this case we didn't use it on this visit. Not sure if they even have one for guests. Overall, the employee greeted us, he was friendly. He didn't have any issues about giving me extra gravy. They take credit cards, not sure if there is a minimum. The transaction was easy, and fast. Will update when we come back but so far, everything is good.

The food was not bad, alittle pricey. I bought rice and beans with oxtail with a bottle of juice on the side for 22.85 cents. The place was neat and cozy.

The food is toothsome! But the service is very obsolete and boring like ("okay, next") restaurant is very clean don't get me wrong but it kind of reminds me of a doctors waiting area with a kitchen. Smile a little bit life is precious ☺️

The beef patty is Wal-mart/restaurant depot frozen paste filling kind. That is against all rules for a Jamaican restaurant.

The oxili got was under cooked.I've eaten it before and it was better than that , but that time was undercooked and the rice seemed a little hard as well

Cleve from Only One Jamaican restaurant II in Brockton MA is the man. Cleve thanks for making our trip a memorable one. My husband and I live all the way in Norwood and we were looking for this restaurant (we couldn't remember the name), when we found it we were so happy. My husband doesn't eat rice and Cleve offered him options, instead of just dismissing him and saying, "well that's what we have" he gave suggestions and my husband was able to get a bit of raw veg and steam Cabbage to make his a meal. You know how some ppl can be a bit cross, well Cleve was very accommodating. Now; I had the oxtail and boy I must tell you, it's THE BEST oxtail I have had in a while!!! It was tender, falling off the bone juicy, so succulent! 😋 😋 😋 Mnmnmnnnn. Finger licking good! And the flavor chart is number one. The jerk chicken was fire, and the curry goat was bomb! Not gonna lie the pork looked good too. I must also mention, they have plenty of options, from 2 types of fish, to curry goat, to sweet and spicy chicken. We'll come back for more stuff.
