Dropped by ONO to try their new brioche menu and honestly enjoyed the experience. The Ebi Crunch Toast was my favourite — crispy prawns with a nice crunch, paired well with the soft, buttery brioche. The Pulled Beef Toast was hearty and filling, with tender beef and balanced flavours, not overly saucy. We also tried the Genmai Toast, which was sweeter and comforting, perfect if you want something less heavy. For the drink, I had the Matcha Strawberry, which was refreshing and not too sweet. You can still taste the matcha clearly, and the strawberry adds a nice fruity twist. Overall, a good spot for brunch if you like brioche-based dishes and matcha drinks. Cozy place, food came out nicely presented, and everything tasted well thought out.

WOW Absolutely delicious!! I am already craving their food again. I got pesto pasta with salmon, matcha with the rose and lychee syrup, matcha cheesecake, truffle fries, mushroom & avocado sando, and got their pour over coffee beans. The pesto pasta with salmon was perfect! I am very picky about this dish because sometimes pesto can be dry or too oily. But theirs was creamy, thick, and well balanced in the noodle to sauce ratio. The salmon was cooked well my only complaint is that I wish there was more salmon pieces on the pasta. The matcha is Niko neko and flavor with the syrup was amazing. I think it’s the best made matcha I’ve had in Malaysia. No grittyness bitterness, or anything. It was well balanced and well made. The sandwich had rave reviews and the beans were too fresh to brew so I’m waiting a couple weeks but I’m sure it will also be very great. Overall 100/10 and I will be back as often as possible. I highly recommend

Visited ONO mainly for matcha, but the food really surprised me. The Smoked Duck & Woodland Mushrooms Toast was tasty and savoury. The Velvety Forest Toast felt more refined and unique — creamy, smooth, and slightly indulgent without being too heavy. We also ordered the Special Tater Tots, which were crispy on the outside and addictive — perfect for sharing. For drinks, the Matcha Soda was interesting and refreshing, especially if you prefer something lighter and not creamy.

Great matcha and food spot 😋 Filled with people on a weekend but didn't have to wait too long to be seated from my experience 🙏🏼 Matcha Latte, 4/5 -Personally, the ratio of matcha and milk is to my liking 👍🏼 -Minor clumps. Sieving would be great to offer smoother and consistent drinking experience. But doesn't really affect much to casual diners. Furin, 4/5 -Great matcha texture and taste of Niko Neko's Ajisai matcha. Offers slightly more complex flavor profile combo. -The fruit flavours tastes a bit artificial/syrup. For a cafe like this, I think it'll be great if one of the fruits used was fresh at least 🫡 -5/5 presentation Aonori Umami Fries, 4/5 -Rich with aroma and flavor of cheese and seaweed with spices especially paired w/ seaweed mayo. -If your dish (like the Sando) comes with fries, it's not a need to order this as the fries also has that aroma and seaweed mayo that it also comes with. Ebi Sando, 4/5 -Soft, steamed-like bread was used to pair with the shrimp katsu. -Sufficient seasoning and not too salty. The sauce is pretty much like tar tar sauce, which pairs well. -Could elevate using a few slices of tomato. Chicken Parmigiana Sando, 4/5 -Great sauce, chicken's crispiness is just right (not under fried nor over fried). -Harder bread in comparison to Ebi Sando. Which is better with fried chicken, and it's not as toasted which is really great especially for not destroying your mouth 😅 -Can't really taste the sweet vinaigrette. -I feel like having a spicy version would be really nice, but it's uncommon for a cafe to have both regular and spicy. -Slightly salty Pesto Pasta, 3.8/5 -Texture of pasta is moderately cooked 👍🏼 -Essence of the sauce is pretty nice but it's a bit too salty -Personally I preferred the salmon to be less fried Corn Ribs, 4/5 -Similar seasoning with the seaweed fries. -Slightly overcooked -Decent of a starter -Preferably charcoal grilled instead Cafe layout, design, & facility, 4/5 -Clean and modern washroom -Smaller sized cafe, a bit congested -Dining outside is way less favourable than dining inside. Simply because you get more privacy inside and ambience isn't that great for outside seatings. -They use STTOKE cups, which is a BIIG plus 👍🏼 Awesome! -The product display table in the middle feels a bit unnecessary. I think the space could've been used more wisely. -Some light music would be great. But it does get pretty loud from customers -The main door is pretty unique but for a cafe this size, it takes up a lot of room. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Would come again 🙏🏼

The food is exceptionally good, well prepared and cooked even to the littlest dish such as the fries. They really put into thought how their food blends together in texture and taste. Well balanced seasoning. The matcha is the best that you can get. Perfect temperature and right ratio for their kiyone and ajisai lattes.

After Mom’s appointment at UMMC, we decided to check out a cafe my cousin had raved about, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I ordered a flat white, which they’ve whimsically dubbed as Fruit of Eden. A bold name, but surprisingly fitting. It was silky smooth and heavenly enough to make me consider a second cup. Mom went for the Ajisai, their take on an iced matcha. One sip and she was sold: rich, creamy, and just the right amount of earthy goodness. Since we weren’t entirely sure about the halal status of the place, we played it safe with the Truffle Mushroom Pasta and the Japanese Tamago Avocado Breakfast Toast. Both dishes were plated beautifully and packed with flavour, definitely not your average cafe fare. Now, let’s talk ambience. At first glance, the place gave off serious laboratory vibes. Think clean lines, minimal decor, and a slightly clinical feel. But once we placed our orders and settled in, the space warmed up into a cozy, modern cafe atmosphere. It’s like the cafe had a personality shift halfway through our visit. Intriguing, right? By lunchtime, the crowd started to roll in, mostly Gen Zs with their iced lattes and aesthetic Instagram stories but the space remained comfortable and not too chaotic. Best part? It’s just a stone’s throw from Mom’s place. With drinks that taste like they were brewed by angels and a vibe that grows on you, I’d say there’s an 80% chance we’ll be back. Maybe even 85% if I’m feeling dramatic.
