We enjoyed this unique place for lunch. The piping hot soup base was super flavorful and rich tasting. The noodles came out hot. There is not a lot of seating so I imagine it gets full fast. Try not to use the bathroom. It’s tucked in the back so you have to walk through the kitchen so it’s very tight quarters. We want to come back to try their cold and spicy dishes.

I had a fantastic experience at OODLE Yunnan Rice Noodle! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, recommending the perfect dishes. I tried the Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, Yunnan Spicy Little Pot, and Pickled Pepper Rice Noodles—each had a completely different broth and was delicious in its own way. The Popcorn Chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the Strawberry Iced Tea was refreshing. The restaurant was clean, organized, and welcoming. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu. Highly recommended!

Yunnan style noodle soup and dishes. To me it was like a mini hotpot experience where you dunk a few small items into a broth. The items come in a cute assortment of containers. Not much meat (pork) was included, but it was tasty and satisfying. In fact, I took a doggy bag as I could not finish it all. It's a small space and the owners are very friendly.

Absolutely OBSESSED with this place!! Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle is a total gem in SF - every single thing we ordered was incredible and just bursting with so much flavor. + No. 2 Yunnan Spicy Little Pot Rice Noodles: These were the star of our meal - insanely delicious and spicy enough to open up the sinuses without sacrificing any flavor or complexity. All the toppings and noodles are brought out on a fun little bamboo bridge and served separately, so you get to dip and "cook" everything in the rich, spicy broth at your own leisure - kind of like a personal mini hot pot experience. Super fun, super interactive, and sooo satisfying. + Y6. Yunnan Spicy Beef Skewers: Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned - we could've eaten 10 more. + Y7. Yunnan Style Rice Rolls: Such a pleasant surprise - we were expecting something akin to cheung fun or summer rolls, but these were unique and unlike anything we'd ever tried before. The umami-packed filling is wrapped in thin, slightly chewy rice paper and paired with a subtly tangy and savory sauce that tied everything together. Light but super satisfying, and a great balance to the spicier dishes. + Popcorn Chicken: Next-level - extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spice. Extremely addictive and impossible to stop snacking on. Every item was 10/10, and on top of all that, the service was absolutely incredible. The staff were so warm and friendly - feels family-run in the best way. They're even pup-friendly and let us bring our dog indoors, and we ended up spending time after our meal just trading dog photos with them. We also saw them chatting with several locals passing by - you can really feel how much heart they put into this place. The decor is also impeccable - from the custom tables to the aesthetic, engraved dishware, I originally assumed the store was part of a chain, but imagine my surprise when we found out that they're just a small, independently run shop - truly one of a kind. We already can't wait to come back again to try everything else on the menu!

My friend ordered the pork and pickled mustard greens noodle soup, and they said it was delicious as well. For the appetizer we ordered the sour wood ear mushrooms. Flavor was very savory, a bit sour, but really good umami flavor. The salad had some cucumbers and peanuts too. We got a teapot of the green tea, and as an avid tea drinker, these tea leaves were very good and brewed at the perfect temperature. We ordered some boba too because we were impressed with the tea. This spot has some good set combos if you want a quick drink and snack. I got the set with sesame balls and a boba drink to go! Lovely spot! Ideal for smaller groups like 2-4. It's not a very big space so be mindful of that. I will be back.

Such amazing taste and flavor for noodle dishes. My partner and I are both vegetarians and they had great vegetarian options. We tried two of the dishes and definitely want to go back as the flavors were so good and unique from one another. The service was so nice and friendly as well and the interior was very clean. We will definitely be back!

Stumbled across this place while in town and this place absolutely nailed it. Absolutely magical and One of my favorite meals I’ve had in a while. A very cool experience different from typical hot pot. If I lived here I’d be a regular weekly. Owners and employees are kind and attentive. Try this place now - stop looking around for places to go you found it!!!!

Came by for lunch on the weekend and sat immediately. We ordered two crossing the bridge noodles, and I thought it was cute that the toppings actually came on a mini bridge. The noodle soups were piping hot and tasted relatively on point for yunnan style noodles. We also ordered a dish called the ghost chicken appetizer which we really did not enjoy at all as it was way too acidic and just tasted like dry chicken in like juice. Overall decent soup and friendly service.

Came for lunch on the weekend right before a huge rush of people, so we were seated immediately. The menu is pretty extensive with lots of rice noodle soup options, as well as dry noodles, appetizers, and specialty items for the summer. We got 2 noodle soups - one original and one pickled cabbage - as well as the chicken salad appetizer and the rice rolls. The chicken salad appetizer was the worst item - super acidic and salty to the point where we couldn't eat any of it without puckering really hard. The rice rolls were fine - the filling is a simple ground meat, onion, and woodear combination. The noodle soups came out really hot, and the toppings were great, but the noodles themselves were a bit too soft for our liking. Service is friendly, and the inside is pretty clean and bright.

I was so excited to find out that we had 过桥米线 in SF!! I tried this dish for the first time when I visited the yunnan province in China and it was definitely one of my top 3 meals on the trip. I came here as a party of 3 and while it didn't take very long for us to be seated, I wouldn't recommend coming here if you have a party over 4. The restaurant is pretty small inside and it was busy even at around 2pm over the weekend! We all ordered No.1 with different proteins and ordered two salads to share. Everything was SO good and the service was great too! Definitely coming back here to try other broth flavors!

I love 过桥米线 as a casual meal, and always get happy whenever I get a piping hot bowl of the rice noodles on a colder day. This place was clean and quiet on a weekend, and I appreciated how fast the noodles came out. We got a tomato soup base one and a more classic soup base -- the bridge design of the vessel holding the toppings is so cute! I love tomato soup base generally and thought this one could have been more tart/flavorful. Service was fast and friendly. Overall not the best crossing bridge noodles I've ever had, but pretty solid.

My friend got there first. I didn't understand why she was given the first table next to the window for a handicapped person. We were squished into one picnic bench. Why? There were three other open tables. We were able to take a different table. I don't know why the waitress gave us the bad vibes. She was directing us to order the salad but my friend wanted the rolls. She wrote our orders on the laminated menu. She didnt do that with any other patrons. We got first item called bridge noodle. I got rice noodles which came steaming hot. I got a plate of raw fish which was very fresh and i tossed it in the pot. Fished them out and kept it in my noodle dish. . The pot was super hot. Be careful. The broth was milky. You just add all the ingredients in the hot bowl. Friend got the beef and egg noodles, which was al dente, perfect chewyness. Our egg rolls was a disappointment. It had minced mushrooms, pork, and marinated cabbage. You might want to skip. They were tiny rolls like Lumpia. The soup was good. I didn't want to bring it home, so I finished it and my belly want to burst any minute now. The waitress's son came in and he got royal treatment. No writing on the laminated menu and not banished to the handicap table. Lots of attention. $60 cash total plus tips. Their receipt clearly states credit card charge more. Life ain't simple any more.

Very good, newly opened (opened a year ago) yunnan noodle option in the city. There aren't really all that many 'crossing bridge' noodles in SF that are particularly any good, but this one is, so go try it Lots of things to choose from in menu, don't get lost. Pick a noodle which has a gold thumbs up and you won't go wrong. If you see some weird things on the menu like chicken wings and fries, I suggest not to order it unless you are eating with a 5 year old, or a man with a palate of a child - - something along those lines Order the funky stuff, sour spicy fish noodles, mala beef noodles, beef skewers, that kind of thing Enjoy

I loved the food here. As well as the Crossing bridge noodles that was served on a miniature bridge. The decoration inside was beautiful yet simple. The bathroom was clean as well. The service was great. The waitress was friendly. I'm shocked she let someone that wasn't a customer use the restroom.

I thought I knew there was to know about the food scene here in SF and especially the western neighborhoods (which I still believe has the best food in the city) but when I was disheartened by the outrageous line in front of The Laundromat, I walked around to find another place to eat. I walked into this place and realized how unique their menu is and what great service you get. Since walking into this place a couple weeks ago for the first time, I've already been back 3 times! I highly recommend their fried tofu. Very unique because of the sauce and that they use silken tofu instead of firm (like the Thai version). I also get their Woodear Mushroom Cold Salad, their noodle soups are obviously a must. Also, the owner (I believe her name is Serena?) is amazing. She's been great at suggesting items to me.

I am so happy to write this review and say thanks to everyone at oodle for making the experience a memorable one that makes me want to return and eat this delicious food. I've already started thinking about what I haven't tried yet, but I want to add to the next order. The owner was very friendly and able to explain to me why his place was so unique compared to others I've been to. One of the things is the focus on true flavors and not having your mouth overpowered with herbs and spices so you can enjoy the noodles and the sauces without it burying the Wonderful flavors that come together here. Every table that I saw around me had a huge bowl of soup on it, and mine was no exception. Plus, I ordered some sides. I wanted to try everything. I was impressed by the texture, presentation, flavors, complexity, and being able to try something new that I haven't tried before. I believe my wife and I had the Union style rice rolls the deep fried silky, tofu, and the chicken rice noodle soup. Everything was incredibly wonderful and I can't wait to try the spicy next time. We also tried the hot ginger milk tea and I had the 80% sweet and she had the regular and we loved it.

Friend introduced me to a new restaurant near my acupuncturist. The interior was very fresh and airy, the seats and tables resembled seating that's used in a asian movie or what smaller park picnic tables would look like but varnished. I ordered the tomato noodles with the bridge. the bridge consist of ten tiny dishes with ham, wood ear, green onions, corn, quail egg, pickled mustard greens, shrimp, tofu skin, peanuts and finally chicken, all this and the beef stew and egg noodles I added to the tomato broth. This dish was simply beyond fantastic in depth of flavour. I have a hard time describing how great this was, I'm gonna head back as soon as I can. One thing that stood out to me, this may seem foreign to others, they served hot water instead of the ice water which alot of people are used to but I do abhor ice water so this was a big plus for me.

Came here with my parents, and we all really enjoyed this spot! For context, we are a Chinese family and we just recently vacationed in Yunnan province in China, where we had lots of Yunnan rice noodles. We happened to stumble across this restaurant, and to our pleasant surprise, the dishes were all super authentic and reminded us of all the noodles we had while traveling. The aesthetic was super cool and impressive, and all was delicious. Service was also incredible!! It was a family-run business and they were super insistent on making sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend this spot!!

Delicious and aesthetically so pleasing. Coming in, you really don't know what to expect, until you see all the little bridges around the small shop. I was super excited to try some crossing bridge noodles, and they absolutely do not disappoint. The noodles are between $16 and 20 and truly worth tasting. Broth was rich and flavorful, and you can really customize your soup based on the toppings you employ. The noodles are great and bouncy as well. Got their special app, a spicy chicken salad, which is cold, spicy and so punchy. Total meal cost was about $60. Definitely will go back when in the city.

This Chinese noodle restaurant's bridge presentation caught my eye. It was fun to assemble and pour in each of the toppings. Each set comes with goji berries, wood ear mushroom, egg, shrimp, corn, ham, chicken, shrimp, peanuts, scallions, and tofu skin on top of your protein of choice. The soup is nice and hot in the stone bowl, and overall, it's solid, comforting meal but not mind blowing or a must-try. For the #1 Crossing Bridge, the pork bone and chicken broth is light and flavorful. The soup for #6 is slightly sour from the pickled cabbage, which I liked, and the fish fillets were so smooth and tender. The Yunnan style rice rolls filled with ground pork were all right with the fish sauce. The hot earl grey milk tea was so creamy, similar to Hong Kong style milk teas, and the boba texture was pretty good! For me, Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle was good to try, but I'm not jumping to come back.

I live nearby and have always walked by this place,. I decided to try it recently, given the colder temperatures. When walking in, the decor makes it feel like you've stepped back in time to China back then. We're quickly greeted and sat (luckily, there wasn't much of a wait). There were only six tables so I can see how it gets packed quickly. We ordered and the food came out quickly. I love the presentation of the vegetables - it comes on a wooden bridge and it's just brings to life the ambiance this restaurant is recreating with stepping back in time to China. The soup was hot so be careful! By the end of the dinner, I was sweating from how hot the soup was but felt warm inside. The noodles were the star of the whole show, it was delicious especially after it's been poured into the rice noodles. I like that they offer both meat and vegetarian options! Tomato Rice noodles - I got beef brisket, which already came in a sauce. I thought that itself was too salty so I dipped it into my tomato broth and it tasted much better. 7/10

It was a chilly night in SF, so we were searching for something hot to warm us up! Came across oodle yunnan rice noodle, so we drove over and found a space about a block away. The place is clean and cozy. It was a Monday night, so there were a few tables available. The owner or manager was servicing about 5 tables on his own and looked a bit overwhelmed. And the person who makes the specialty drinks was not there, so we couldn't order milk teas or smoothies. ***OUR PICKS*** YUNNAN RICE ROLLS (4) ~ Steamed rice rolls filled with ground pork and wood ear fungus, with a side of lime-infused fish sauce. These rice rolls are similar to the Vietnamese Banh cuon rolls. They both have pork and wood ear fungus as part of the filling, though these are rolled up thinner. The sauce is needed for more flavor. Without it, it's one note. 3.5/5 SOY MARINATED TOFU ~ It was highly recommended by our server to give these a try. They came to us crispy and hot! The sauce was tasty but made them less crispy as it cooled down. But initially, they were good. 4/5 CROSSING BRIDGE RICE NOODLES ~ Original dish of Yunnan consisting of silky rice noodles, tender beef or pork belly or nobashi Ebi Shrimp and fresh vegetables served with a bowl of boiling, hot, house-made pork bone and chicken broth. I chose the sliced beef which was 4 slices of hot pot beef. The beef shriveled into one bite. I should have ordered something more substantial like pork belly. Although you get side dishes to put into the soup, it does not amount to much. I was fishing and looking for bits and pieces. The first few bites, you're getting all noodles until you run out, then it's back to fishing again. It's a nice display, but a bit pricey for what you get. 3/5 TOMATO RICE NOODLES ~ Silky rice noodles, tender sliced beef or rich beef stew and fresh vegetables served with a hot bowl of house-made tomato broth. Our friend chose beef stew. She was ok with the soup and said it was flavorful. But the beef stew was salty. I tried a few pieces and ended up dipping them into my soup to cut the salt. There was a mix of textures which is typical of Asian beef stew. 3/5 SICHUAN SPICY EGG NOODLES WITH BEEF STEW ~ Silky rice noodles, rich beef stew or tender slices of beef or fish fillet, and fresh vegetables served with a hot bowl of flaming Sichuan spicy house-made pork bone and chicken broth. My bf ordered this. They used numbing mala peppers in the soup. He also chose the beef stew. He said it was ok. 3/5 I guess if you're looking for soup noodles to warm yourself up, this will get you toasty. But just know if you only order a bowl of noodles, you may not be filled enough. We ordered appetizers which topped us off. With each bowl of noodles nearly $20, the amount of food given was inadequate. Unfortunately, the bridge display isn't enough for me to come back.

Have mixed feelings about this place. It's a cool concept and very IG worthy with the sides on little sauce plates placed on a bridge. Presentation is definitely there, and yes it was pretty good and satisfying on a cold lSF day. Where I'm a bit on the fence is the portion size. We felt that the portions could have been a little bigger, we cleaned our bowls and we weren't full. So then we ordered popcorn chicken and the skewers, and even after that, we weren't really full, so we went for dessert after at a different spot. I mean the vibez are cool, not sure if the guy that took our order was the owner or worker but he was nice and friendly! He suggested items on the menu and checked in on us if we needed anything and asked how was the food. It's a good experience so worth a try, but not sure if I would really go back or 'crave' for it again.

Called this place up 30 min beforehand and was able to be seated 30 min before closing on a Saturday (we were the second last group of the day)! The food was exactly what I hoped for - my favorite was the #1 crossing bridge rice noodles, which had a very flavorful broth and a generous amount of beef. The #6 pickled cabbages noodles was a good amount of sour and really hit the spot too. Side dishes were also a great addition. The only mediocre item was the rice rolls, which were a bit soggier / less flavorful than expected but maybe that is how it is meant to taste.

Great experience. I went with a group of three on a weekday after work. I already knew this place is smaller than other restaurants but surprisingly it wasn't busy at 6pm. We had all ordered different soups with side of popcorn chicken and fried ribs. I would say the sides were good but I have to say the best was the soup and the noodles. The original chicken soup had a lot of flavors and the noodles have this nice after taste. If you want to explore other flavors or want spicy , they have those soups as well. I highly recommend and the lady who works there is very helpful and nice!

There's nothing better than finding a warm, hearty meal to keep you cozy when KARL IS COOLING THE CITY DOWN - and Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle delivers just that I got the following dishes: * #1 Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles (5/5): cannot go wrong with the classic dish * #6 Fish Fillet (4/5): It was a little sour for my tastebuds :( If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by! It's a small shop, so expect a line on weekends, but the anticipation only makes the food taste even better =D

The SF sichuan scene has been fire and this lovely spot is another great add to it. We ordered three soups that we loved: 1) the original 2) the green pickled spicy soup 3) pickled soup with fish Everything suited our palate well. I loved 2) because the soup was the right amount of numbing spicy and it reminded me of some street food I had in Shanghai. I opted for fish fillet and it was fresh. They also have combo deals. But only one per table which I found was strange because that wasn't advertised anywhere. Staff is nice but you have to grab their attention. Note: the combo deals don't come with the bridge, which just means the ingredients are already in the soup. It comes with one appetizer and drink on weekdays only. The place is small with wood tables that mimicks an outdoor terrace which is kinda nice. There are also two tables outside that seats two. I enjoyed the soup & would come back to try other things.

We recently tried Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle, and wow, what a fantastic experience! We got the spicy rice noodle soup and the egg noodle crossing the bridge soup. The spicy rice noodle soup was absolutely delectable--the perfect amount of spice and flavor, and those sides/add-ins were such a nice touch! I loved the whole bridge concept. My husband chose the egg noodles, which looked amazing, and I would have preferred them too, but I was trying to avoid gluten. We also got the Thai Me Around milk tea with lychee jelly. I ordered it half sweet, and it was still pretty sweet, but it was so unique and delicious! This was my first time trying lychee jelly, and I loved it--definitely a new favorite. The food was incredible! It's crazy how you can just walk into a spot in San Francisco and have one of the best meals of your life. The place has a cute and cozy vibe, and while the bathroom is in the kitchen, it's accessible. Service was great too--full but not crowded on a Wednesday at lunch. Overall, Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle is definitely worth a visit!

I was initially drawn to this place because of the wooden crossing bridge but wow, the food here doesn't disappoint! I ordered the Sichuan Spicy Rice Noodles, which definitely came with the numbing spice kick. I got it with beef, and you get around 4 pieces, which isn't a lot. However, you get a bunch of toppings on the bridge, which include other meats like pork It also comes with a lot of traditional Chinese soup toppings, like goji berries, tofu skin, and wood eat mushroom. The soup broth is just simply amazing. They give you so much of it that I had enough leftovers for a second meal. I also got the Thai Me Around drink, which was quite affordable and tasted great. Also, the owner (or at least I think she was) was really nice and helping people out with recommendations on what to try.

Loved this spot! Lots of fresh and yummy options to choose from here! My Dad loves noodles so we came to check out this new to us spot! There's street parking and if you're lucky, you'll score a parking right out front. Everything we had was delicious and we'll be back!

I've been here a few times and really like the options - soup noodles dishes, cold noodles and several sides that they seem to rotate once in a while. The soup noodle is really nice on a cold day, and in the sunset neighborhood there's a lot of those! This time around I got the marinated soy tofu and the.soft tofu cold rice noodles. The marinated soy tofu was great. I really like the texture - crispy on the outside and silken soft on the inside. The noodles were yummy too. Make sure you mix everything together to get the full flavor! Only gripe i have is it'd be great if they had more warm noodle dishes. Service is great and the decor inside is very nice as well. I'll keep coming back!

Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle was such a random, but great find! Originally, we were going to get lunch around Chinatown, but the wait time and parking just didn't work out for us. Since we were going to be in Richmond anyways, I looked up places to eat on Yelp and landed on Oodle instead. The place looks cute, and their Yunnan Rice Rolls was what caught my eyes first. I don't know if there's usually a wait around lunch or not, but we came pretty late, so we were seated immediately. Between my partner and I, we shared 1) Yunnan Spicy Beef Skewers, 2) Yunnan Style Rice Rolls, and 3) Fish Fillet with Pickled Cabbage Rice Noodles and added slices of Beef Shank on the side. The Yunnan Spicy Beef Skewers arrived first, and these were delicious. They're labeled as spicy, but it's really not that spicy. They're peppered with a lot of spices though, which makes it pretty flavorful. The skewers had the texture of jerky, but it's more moist. I enjoyed this a lot. As for the Rice Rolls, these were delicious bites as well. They're really similar to the Vietnamese Rice Rolls, but the way the filling is rolled up is different. It is a little messy since the rolls gets stuck to each other and the filling falls out easily, but spooning up the fillings that fall out and eating them as is is great too. For our main dish, the Fish Fillet with Pickled Cabbage - the soup was surprisingly really good. It's also labeled as spicy I believe, but it's not actually that spicy. It does leave a bit of the mala numbness on your tongue though, which I enjoyed. I usually can't stand mala spiciness, but the mala without much of the spiciness was great. Service wise, this place was really friendly and nice. I think it was just the owner and one other worker on the floor when we were there. One thing though - we didn't realize that they forgot our addition of the side of beef until we finished everything. When we realized, we wanted to just skip it and take it off our order, but they immediately went to check the kitchen and brought it out. I wish they asked if we still wanted it since we were basically done with our meal already. Nonetheless, it was a good side order of beef. Would definitely recommend for people looking for something warm, comforting, and fun to eat!

It's sooooo nice to be able to eat some traditional Yunnan Rice Noodles in San Francisco. With how much of a niche they hold, I'm so pleasantly surprised that the quality of this place is so high. We got the weekday special for 2 bowls of noodles, a popcorn chicken, and 2 lychee green teas for just $38, which was extremely worth the price. This doesn't come with the bridge though! Still - the popcorn chicken had really nice tenderness and flavor. The soup was FAN-tastic. Nice milky flavor with super fresh ingredients. They also have some really nice homemade sauces that go really well with the food. Service was very thorough, and the place is small but cozy - huge mood! Would definitely come back

I came here on a Friday for lunch. It's a very cute and spacious restaurant. The owners are very welcoming and willing to answer any questions you have. They also serve the food super fast, so it's great for a quick meal! I ordered the Tomato Sliced Beef Rice Noodle, which came with 10 tiny add-ons on a small aesthetic bridge. My soup was delicious with the perfect balance between tanginess and savory. I really enjoyed the noodles as well. Super bouncy and easy to eat. The only thing that threw me off was that some of the add-ons were shredded chicken breast and bacon, which didn't go well with the dish. I had a great meal. This restaurant is literally perfect on a chilly day! I highly recommend it.

Stopped by here right after they opened for lunch and the place was quickly filled up. I love that they have wooden benches that make you feel like you are eating a meal in China. My friend ordered the classic bridge noodle and I ordered a cold noodle since it was a really hot day. The ingredients laid out on the bridge is a very cute touch, and my cold noodle was absolutely delicious and filling. Would definitely come back and it looks like they have pretty good combo deals going on too!

Great place for a hot meal to warm myself up from the cold and rainy weather. I enjoyed the hot and spicy soup with fish fillets. The super hot bowl cooks the soup so quickly and it stays temperature hot. I also enjoyed the meaty garlic chicken wings. On top of being tasty the wings were also temperature hot The workers were very hospitable and provided great service. Looking forward to trying more restaurants on Balboa :)

Some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The wait staff is dedicated to an authentic experience and readily available for any additional requests. It's a cozy place with a handful of tables but kept clean and comfortable.

My partner and I were looking for some comfort food on our trip to the bay area. We have been fans of Yunnan Rice noodle for quite some time now as we are both from the east coast where this dish is very popular. I am SO glad we stumbled upon this place. This is such a cute local shop owned by such a sweet lady. She had told me that she opened the restaurant about six months ago because she enjoyed noodles. She told me how the broth is boiled for about 12 hours and it was so creamy and delicious. The owner is also super friendly and puts in a good amount of effort in trying to converse with her customers. Highly recommend coming here :) (p.s. free noodle refills!)

Super cute mom and pop noodle shop. The price point, service and quality of ingredients are fantastic. We came for Mother's Day and tried 3 different soup bases. OG, tomato and spicy and sour. I think the OG one is the way to go. Additionally pork and shrimp are great proteins selections to pair it with your noodles. Additionally, they give you a free refill of noodles if you need more. All in all, I would come back again if you're craving some tasty somewhat healthy soup!

Feeling something soupy since I'm recovering from a cold. Found this spot on yelp and wanted to try it out. Omg the broth did not disappoint! Ordered the bridge style noodle soups, beef skewers and a few other appetizers and they all came out delicious! And plus side, they have all kinds of drinks including boba drinks to pick from. That saved us a boba run! Overall, I will definitely be back to try out their other flavors. Ahhhh, soup for the soul fosho!

Delicious. Walked right in at 11:30 on a Saturday. The Yunnan style rice noodles I saw on someone's Instagram was not available, but the alt we ordered was so great it didn't matter. The braised pork noodles were spectacular- springy and tasty. The beef skewers were ok. The restaurant is small, but cute, and we listened to Jackson Wang the entire time we were there. The staff was friendly and warm. The woman recommended that we try the soup. The lunch special looks terrific. We want to go back to try the soup she recommended.

Service was pretty great! The woman who I'm assuming is the owner was super sweet and helpful. The food itself was a bit hit or miss in my opinion. The noodle soup was about an 8/10 minimum bowl of warm delicious comfort and I can highly recommend those but I think personally the rice rolls, popcorn chicken, and takoyaki were a miss. I HOWEVER DO HIGH RECOMMEND THEIR MANTOU FRIED BUNS. Super fluffy on the inside with a light crispy crunch on the outside and paired with the condensed milk was great. We also loved their drinks but they were a bit small. Overall highly recommend and if you want any daily delicious recommendations the owner is super sweet and gives great suggestions!

11.09.2024. Late lunch with mama after cake picnic. We came at 3pm and it was surprisingly crowded. Yunan Style Braised Pork Noodles (Warm Dish). 14.95. Yunan Spicy Little Pot Rice Noodles. 17.50. The braised pork noodles took me by surprise, mainly i think because it was sweeter than I had anticipated. The noodles were good, a tad clumpy. The soup rice noodles were okay. There was a cute little gimmick (mini dishes on a wooden bridge) but the soup itself lacked depth of flavor. I feel like it could've used a hit of fish sauce or anything to make it more flavorful. Overall, okay meal not outstanding.

Richmond never disappoints with Chinese food and Oodle really came through with their noodles! My first time trying rice noodles in this way and I thought it was an interesting collab between hot pot and dipping ramen. If you like both then this would be the spot for you!! Each pot is priced individually, and comes with a set of side dishes displayed on a bridge. I tried the rice noodle, and kale noodles (which was kind of strange) - I'd stick with either rice noodle or egg noodle next time. It is SO aesthetic and def was on the gram. Typically Chinese food in the area doesn't have this keen eye for display and I am giving it 5/5 stars for the quiet ambience, food authenticity, and presentation!

The OG crossing bridge broth is top tier, and the pork belly is delicious too! Separating the toppings is cute, but the soup didn't stay hot enough after cooking the meat and little dishes. We also got this rice roll which was alright, but I'd try their popcorn chicken next time. Highlight of this restaurant is the owner (I'm assuming), she is so personable and even offered extra noodles! Definitely will visit again when I'm craving slurpy noodles and savory soup.

Overall a really solid noodle spot that is highly customizable, delicious, and a fun experience!! I will admit the bridge noodles with the toppings did intrigue me and that is the main reason why I wanted to try this place out! I fell for the gimmick! But the food is actually really good too! I got the Sichuan Spicy broth with rice noodles and fish fillet! The broth was everything I wanted, super flavorful with the nice szechuan zing that I love. The noodles were chewy and great for soaking up the richness of the broth. I love a good fish fillet cooked in soup, and the toppings of course were fun to throw in! I'd recommend this spot!

While we were looking at the menu, the owner of the restaurant came by and recommended us some dishes that we should try. We took her advice and ordered the rice noodles with nobashi ebi shrimp. We wanted to try the Yunnan style braised pork noodles, but they didn't have it. The owner recommended us to try their Yunnan soft tofu cold rice noodles with ground pork. We also ordered the Yunnan style rice noodles as an appetizer. Our order came out pretty fast since we were the only customers there. The Yunnan style rice noodles had ground pork and black ear fungus in them. The wrapper was kind of chewy and the lime fish sauce added a nice kick to this dish. The crossing the bridge rice noodle soup came with six big peeled and deveined shrimp. It also came with ten small dishes on a wooden bridge. We thought it was a clever and cute idea. The Yunnan soft tofu cold noodles with ground pork was actually served warm. It tasted like dan dan noodles with soft tofu added to it. While we were eating, the owner stopped by and chatted with us. She asked if everything was ok. She told us that the restaurant had been opened for six months. She told us that we should try their rice noodle soup with pork belly, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, and their milk tea on our next visit. She said that she used to own a tea shop. This restaurant gave generous portions and reasonably priced. The owner and the waitress were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back to try the other dishes that the owner recommended. We enjoyed every dish that we ordered and had excellent service.

Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle is a total gem in SF -- every single thing we ordered was incredible and just bursting with so much flavor. + No. 2 Yunnan Spicy Little Pot Rice Noodles: These were the star of our meal -- insanely delicious and spicy enough to open up the sinuses without sacrificing any flavor or complexity. All the toppings and noodles are brought out on a fun little bamboo bridge and served separately, so you get to dip and "cook" everything in the rich, spicy broth at your own leisure -- kind of like a personal mini hot pot experience. Super fun, super interactive, and sooo satisfying. + Y6. Yunnan Spicy Beef Skewers: Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned -- we could've eaten 10 more. + Y7. Yunnan Style Rice Rolls: Such a pleasant surprise -- we were expecting something akin to cheung fun or summer rolls, but these were unique and unlike anything we'd ever tried before. The umami-packed filling is wrapped in thin, slightly chewy rice paper and paired with a subtly tangy and savory sauce that tied everything together. Light but super satisfying, and a great balance to the spicier dishes. + Popcorn Chicken: Next-level -- extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spice. The staff were so warm and friendly -- feels family-run in the best way. They're even pup-friendly and let us bring our dog indoors, and we ended up spending time after our meal just trading dog photos with them. We also saw them chatting with several locals passing by -- you can really feel how much heart they put into this place. The decor is also impeccable -- from the custom tables to the aesthetic, engraved dishware, I originally assumed the store was part of a chain, but imagine my surprise when we found out that they're just a small, independently run shop -- truly one of a kind. We already can't wait to come back again to try everything else on the menu!

I was lucky enough to chat with the owners (I think). Very nice. The menu cards were on the table, laminated do you could check off what you want. I got the noodle soup with the sour cabbage broth & fish and a rose and aloe smoothie. (Never fear, if you don't know what to do they give you directions.) The condiments come out on a rack, then the super heated soup in a wooden structure. Add the meat (fish) first, then the condiments and the noodles last. My soup was outstanding, the fish fresh, the condiments flavorful and the noodles just right. The rose and aloe smoothie was perfect with the sour cabbage broth...who knew. It is a small, casual and extremely clean restaurant with sturdy wooden tables and writing on the walls for decor. Great experience! Thanks.

I've been really into this type of rice noodle lately! It's sort of fun and interactive because you can toss in the meat, toppings, and noodles yourself. I got the original soup because I'm usually basic like this but the soup comes hot so that it cooks the slices of raw meat when you drop it in. Then we're supposed to toss the bridge items in and the finish off with the noodles. Love their presentation and also the casual atmosphere! Cute interior too! Definitely going back soon!!

I've been on a soup noodle kick recently, so I was excited to try this new spot. However, my expectations were cut short as soon as we entered the restaurant. There was only one party seated inside the small restaurant (only 6 tables), ands staff behind the counter, but we were not greeted at the door and did not know were we could sit. It was after getting the staff's attention that they told us that we could pick an open table. There was one drink menu and one food menu at the table, along with a dry erase marker. We figured that we were to make our order on the laminated menus, but were confused as we were only given one of each menu for a party of three... nevertheless, we made do and got our orders in. We ordered the Crossing Bridge broth with rice noodles, chicken broth with egg noodles, the pickled pepper broth with rice noodles, a winter melon milk tea with boba and the earl gray milk tea. The food came out really fast: first came all the soup add-ins on a "bridge," and then the soups a couple of minutes later. I wasn't expecting huge portions for the add-ins, but I was still taken aback on how small of a portion it was (there were maybe like 15 corn kernels lol). Since I opted for the pork belly meat option for my crossing bridge broth, my soup didn't come with any meat on the side (they said that they cook it for customers for food safety reasons), but there was probably less than 10 pieces of meat in my soup. The broth was pretty tasty, but the portion was definitely not worth the price. The winter melon tea that I ordered also did not taste anything like winter melon - it was more of a lavender with a strong tea flavor. The quality and portion of the food items is why I have docked a star. Another star docked was for the service. The table behind us had an issue with their order and it took the owner (?) at least 3 conversations back and forth with the other staff on the floor to resolve it. This was pretty disruptive because the conversation was kind of yelled across the restaurant (given how small of a space it was). It also felt like we were hovered over, especially at the end of our meal. The owner actually sat in the table directly next to us and was using his phone and I felt a little uncomfortable. When we asked for our bill, the owner came out immediately with the card reader and printed bill, which some people could feel rushed to pay via card. BEWARE because paying by card was an extra 1.5% fee to the bill, which could have been missed if you didn't look at the receipt and rushed to pay via the card reader. Due to the other options for soup noodles, especially at restaurants where you can customize your add-ins, and the slightly uncomfortable dining experience, I don't think I will be revisiting Oodle Yunnan Rice Noodle in the future.
