We chose Ooh La La to make our wedding cake, and they absolutely nailed it. I've been a fan of their bakery since they opened in 2007, so I already trusted their quality and didn’t feel the need for a tasting. Ordering the cake was a breeze—during my visit, I brought along a few inspiration pictures, and the team was able to recreate the look beautifully. The cake itself was two tiers: raspberry amaretto with raspberry filling on the bottom, and white chocolate caramel on the top. Both flavors were incredibly moist and full of flavor—our guests loved it! The bakery delivered and set up the cake at our venue on time without a hitch. The entire process was smooth and stress-free, which is exactly what you want when planning a wedding. Ooh La La made it easy to trust them with something so important, and they came through in both presentation and taste. I would definitely recommend them to other couples looking for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake from a team that knows what they’re doing.

Lovely quaint bakery in Katy. We have loved Ooh la la since they had their location at City Centre. Not only are the desserts delicious but the service is amazing! Brenda really made us feel welcome and appreciated! We will be back!

Oh, how I love this bakery! The flourless chocolate chewy cookies are divine and one of my absolute favorites. The only reason they aren’t getting five stars is that they still haven’t mastered their gluten-free cupcakes. There’s just something a little off about them… Their regular cupcakes taste like heaven, though. I keep hoping they’ll improve the gluten-free ones. If they do, they’ll definitely be getting even more of my money!

Beautiful place to have a delicious dessert and coffee. We ordered a black and white mousse, a pumpkin mousse, a triple chocolate cheesecake and an eclair. We also ordered a latte. They all left us speechless. The place is cute. The service is incredible. Come with your friends and family and have a great time.

We selected an assortment of cupcakes for my son’s special birthday dessert with the help of the nice woman behind the counter (sorry I don’t remember her name). Every flavor we tried was delicious with a moist sponge and delicious icing! My favorite was the lemon cupcake and the extra peanut butter cookie we bought.

Today is National Cookie Day, and to celebrate I placed an order for four cookies this morning. What I did not expect to happen was for my car battery to die after getting off work. I called to let them know I was probably going to be late, they said it was all good. But what made this visit beyond special was the kind note they left on one of the cookies. This note made my heart smile, and I will definitely be trying to make an effort to get most of my sweet treats from Ooh La La.

Ordered an 8 inch Amaretto cake for my daughter’s graduation. Cake had Zero flavor! Color that was requested was off. So disappointed and irritated I paid so much. Bought a Kroger cake for her birthday yesterday and it was so much better!

First time going to this bakery. It was 9:30 but they opened up at 10. One nice lady with glasses (sorry don’t know her name) was very friendly but she was the only one. The rest of the staff were very cold and unwelcoming. Since we came in early, I asked if they needed any help putting chairs to the tables, and the reply was No! Still our kids were excited so I bought some treats for them and it came to $50! A few cupcakes? Throughout our experience, the service was even colder. I will not be coming back as there are PLENTY of great bakeries around that would treat their customers better. There was an older lady there who acted like we didn’t belong there. To the one person that was nice, thank you. The rest, why would you treat your customers so horribly? People don’t go there if you want good service.

I absolutely love ooh la la!! Been coming to this bakery for years my family and I used to live in league city Texas and would drive to this bakery for special occasions to get their cakes because this is the best bakery out there!! I now live in the woodlands Texas and I would still drive to this bakery for the cakes!! This is hands down the best bakery in all of Texas!! I absolutely love this bakery!!! The cakes are always so fresh and so tasty and delicious!!!

Delicious and addicting! These cupcakes are the perfect fulfilling size. The frosting is creamy and amazing. I've only had their nilla nilla cupcake and red velvet. I can't wait to try more! Their cupcakes do sell out later in the day so come earlier if you don't want to miss out on your favorite flavors! I love how they have a drive thru. The indoor seating is really cute. There's lot of parking spaces in the lot. The service was good and the workers are very friendly.

Love this place, their desserts are always fresh and high quality! The service is consistently friendly and helpful! I've never dined in but it's such a cute place, warm and inviting. I ordered a variety of cheesecakes to celebrate a coworkers birthday- snickers, plain NY, strawberry, cherry, and cookies n cream. I loved them all!

First visit to this establishment and I have to tell you this bakery instantly jumped to the top of the list as one of my favorites in the Houston area out of my top five. Any business that displays their Christian beliefs and put God as the head of their establishment instantly gets 10 plus stars from me. The display sign that announced their spiritual beliefs was actually the first thing I noticed followed by the mouth watering looking deserts on display. Off the muscle, you already had made me as a lifetime customer. Now on to the deserts. Each individual desert was excellent in taste. The cheesecake, cupcake, and cakes had just the right texture and moistness that all cakes should have with just the right amount of sweetness. Wasn't a huge fan of the pink cake, however that just simply came down to preference. Nevertheless, the pink cake was still moist with the right amount of sweetness. The customer service was excellent and the establishment itself appeared extremely clean. If you have a serious sweet tooth, I highly recommend this spot. I can only speak of the Katy Texas location as I have yet to visit the Westheimer location.

Easily one of the best boutique bakeries in the greater Houston area! Huuuuge selection of pastries, cupcakes, pies, cookies, and so much more! Love that they also have a variety of gluten free items; both of my daughters have Celiac Disease, and this is one of the few places they can enjoy treats (just like everyone else!). I'm a big fan of their macarons and eclairs, but everything here is absolutely delicious. A bit higher priced than your typical 'chain' bakeries, but so worth it!

Not open on Sunday!!! This is VERY disappointing after driving 30 miles to get here! I really wanted to get one of your delicious desserts, but because the hours are wrong on Yelp, wasted the afternoon getting here!

Have been getting our drama queen cupcake on Wednesdays for at least 3 months since March 2023, then all of a sudden about 3 weeks ago there out of it, at first I thought well maybe it is the time we go (usually around 2-3 pm) so I tried ordering online around noonish and they call me right after my order is confirmed to say they are all out. So we basically wait a whole week for this cupcake and then it is sold out, when are we supposed to order it or go by the store? If it is a once a week cupcake then they should make enough for what the demand is.

Great deserts and excellent ambiance. Staff is personable and friendly. Sure miss the German Chocolate cake but the cupcakes make up for it. The only place I will purchase cupcakes!!

This is usually one of my favorite places however today all I wanted was a fresh piece of cake that was not pre cut but I was told that I could not have a piece of cake that I drove 20 minutes from my home to get how do you have policy in place that promotes bad customer service

Great variety, excellent service and the deserts are to die for. Only drawback is the price. Do not go often but I have never been disappointed.

I seriously don't know how this place only has 3.5stars. Every dessert I've ever had from here is amazing. I'm not a cake person and I love their cakes! They're so moist and delicious! Our favorite is the triple chocolate cheesecake! Yuuuum. Service is always great. They even have a drive through so you don't even have to go in. So we normally get 3-4 desserts and eat on them for a few days. We each take a bite of each dessert and rotate. Love doing this!

We've been going here since they opened. Desserts are yummy and the employees are always pleasant. Their staple items are frequently out by afternoon which can be frustrating. Just last week, they told me they are NO LONGER OFFERING THEIR GIANT RICE KRISPIE TREATS!! Super disappointed and wish they'd reconsider. It was one of my go-to's especially when wanting something not overly sweet or rich.

The manager here is extremely rude. Her name is Rylieh. I asked her to give me a new slice of cake and not the one which was kept already cut. And she just denied. Hate to say that though this is my favorite bakery, yet had a bad customer experience.

I've stopped here many many times over the years. The variety is amazing. I love that they have special cupcake they have each month. The peanut butter cookie is one of my favorite pb cookies anywhere. The cupcakes are huge, definitely worth the price.

Classic dessert spot in Katy! Ooh La La is the perfect place to come for a sweet bite to eat. Some of my favorite baked goods are their cupcakes (especially chocolate cake with vanilla icing) and lemon bars. The larger cupcakes are perfect to pick up for a friend's birthday! They even come in a cute little box. I would recommend coming here to satisfy your next dessert craving.

Love the German chocolate cake and the carrot cake. Pricey but worth it! Never disappoints and the people are friendly enough.

Stopped by today to pick up a slice of cake. The worker had the Assistant Manager explain the dulce de leche cake to me (the worker hadn't had it before). The Assistant Manager was so rude and flippant - seemed completely annoyed and bothered that she had to explain the flavor of a cake. She was also dressed white sloppily and truly seemed annoyed to have to work. Really disappointing to know this place hires subpar managers.

They have really good cupcakes I got the red velvet cupcakes and omg they have such good flavor but the only thing is it's way to big but that's it but yea there really good

Poor poor service. Worked on other people and didn't ask 1 time to take me order. I had discussed that I wanted to order a Birthday cake for September 10 and they ignored me and was very rude when they did answer the question. Was not very helpful!!!! Will never go back !!!!

To be honest, the experience was good, but I'll Recommend you to just try the regular cakes, they are moist, sponges and delicious. The tres leches and the creme brûlée were not as good as they look. The Creme brûlée was dry and had weird texture and the tres leches... well it wasn't good enough, the mixture of Milks and the base cake wasn't good. On the other hand, the place is small, beautiful and perfectly well located, and the coffee is very good :)

The desserts here are five + stars ! This location is a mini version of their town and country location, so the selection appeared more limited - however, my favorite "triple chocolate cheesecake" was available so what really do I complain about !? :) I also tried the "tripe chocolate mousse cake" today - um YES PLEASE ! :)

Oh my!!! These desserts are amazing!!!! I wanted to but 1 of everything. I retyped for mini cupcakes to try several flavors. My fave was the red velvet, but honestly they we all so good. The staff was great and super friendly.

Came here for cupcakes back in 2020. Had a good experience. The candy cupcake was piled with candy, service was friendly. Came here recently looking for birthday cupcakes but the service was not friendly or inviting. Seemed like I was annoying them with my questions. I read about their carrot cake, but they said they don't have carrot cake. Just a "bunny" cake which is carrot cake with walnuts. Couldn't make it without walnuts so I could just have a carrot cake. I noticed the candy cake I had before had way less candy on top. I drove 20 minutes to get here expecting the service and help I received before. I left without ordering.

The best Oatmeal Chocolate Chip I've ever had! Chocolate chewy is also remarkable. Plus they have a drive-thru making it super easy and convenient to pick up a few sweets

This review is for the drive through only. I sat in the drive thru for a good 5 mins watching people inside but with no response. I finally called and asked them to come to the window. The man who arrived was kind but a little hurried. I ordered a piece of red velvet cake. It was a big size but a little dry and lacking. Will I be back? Sure. But could it be better? Also yes.

Okay so I'm in love with this place, the cupcakes and cakes are so delicious and moist, it's amazing! The cookie was also very good as well. I got the red velvet cake slice and it was delicious not too sweet and just the perfect amount of icing. It is a very large slice so I find the price is a reasonable price for how much you get and for how good it is. The cookie is large as well so it's about the same price as a cupcake almost. I wasn't much of a fan of the macaron, but I tried it to see how it ranked. I wouldn't particularly go here for that. The cupcake was super delicious but I'm highly disappointed that it died in the box and the icing slid right off the cupcake.

To begin, I will say that the treats are delicious and have never disappointed in the past. I have visited ooh la la before and had varying levels of service, but never as bad or disappointing as the lack of service received tonight. We stopped by Ooh La La on westheimer looking to grab our favorite sweet treats, and were Greeted by an empty bakery with four employees, and asked to wait to be served. Fair enough, one was fillin an order for the drive through window. Another was chatting and using profane language with the girl filling the drive through order. A third employee was standing behind the counter, starting at me for a full minute awkwardly, making no move to take our order. She then left to go to the back, and the other employees decided to start cleaning down and preparing to close for the evening, then also disappeared into the back. Needless to say, we left and went to crumbl. where we received fast, friendly and efficient service. Despite the tasty treats that I have had from Ooh La La over the past decade, I don't think I'll be coming back after this, at least not for a long while. Shame to see the service quality decline to such a degree.

I think the quality of desserts here is exceptional. Bakery cupcakes are nearly always underwhelming... but not here. Everything looks and tastes incredibly good.

Can't go here anymore knowing that they don't wear masks during this time of Coronavirus. Even fast food worker employees are wearing masks. If you cannot take my safety into consideration then I can no longer patronize your business. I've been here twice in the past month and NO masks! I've also waited for at least 5 min to be helped when the store isn't even busy. Sorry.. not going here any more! Don't forget, you wear a mask to not get others sick! I had seen and heard about Ooh La la Dessert Boutique for a rather long time. When I lived just outside of Katy, on Park Row, I had seen their Park Row location several times. I had never stopped by because I was either too busy or just didn't plan ahead. When I moved to Cinco, I found that they had a location on this side of town too. So, my husband and I decided to give it a try. The store in Cinco sits in a shopping center along Westheimer Parkway and 99. It is in that big shopping center where Target is located. The inside has a homey feel. They have trinkets and other fun items for sale. Of course, their main attraction, are the pastries. They have a plethora of cupcakes, cakes and cheesecakes. They also have a nice collection of cereal treats and macaroons. That day, I figured I'd try out their cupcakes and cereal treats. Margarita Cupcake - It has a bright green frosting that tastes of lime. The frosting is buttery, bright and just sweet enough. The cake part, however, has a rather chewier crumb. Generally, cupcakes are supposed to have a tender crumb like that of a cake. These were more muffin like in texture. The cake part was pretty bland and didn't really deliver on flavor. I figured that the texture and flavor were just this particular cupcake until... Nilla Nilla Cupcake - A vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. Like the above, delicious frosting. Sadly, just like the above, chewy texture on the cake with a lack of flavor. Not sure what is going on with the crumb on these cupcakes. Are they using the right flour? Maybe they are using a Pastry Flour versus a Cake Flour. You see, what gives you a tender or chewy crumb all depends on the gluten content the flour has. Pastry flour has a higher gluten content and is therefor good for pie crusts, cookies, muffins, etc. Whereas Cake flour, has a lower gluten content and is good for pastries which a tender crumb is desired. I was rather disappointed in the texture. Right, so I also had cereal treats: Rice Cereal Treat - these big as your face cereal treat is spot on perfection! It isn't overly sweet like so many other places and has a spot on texture. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and wish I had ordered another one. Fruity Cereal Treat - you know that milk you used to save after eating Fruity Pebbles? Well, this one is for you! Man oh man this was delicious. I would go back to try their cheesecake and maybe their cake offerings. I am a tad bit hopeful that their cakes don't have the same texture as their cupcakes. I did eye the macaroons, but to be honest they looked rather sad. The feet of the macaroons were non existent and they didn't have that sheen that you find in a macaroon. However, maybe the flavor reigns in them - so I will probably give them a try. I will definitely go back for their cereal treats!

I love this place's cupcakes! They are huge, sweet, and so delicious. I love coming here every once in a while to treat myself or my friends.

Probably my last time here. And I never wanted it to be. But the staff could really use some training in customer service. Last time I was there a young lady with dark hair wasn't that friendly and then today another lady acted like she didn't want to service me. Never said hi. Just didn't seem to care, she walked away. Then the next person seemed to not know what I needed and it's like I pointed to the cupcake 5 times and she still didn't understand. Finally an older guy helped me and was very friendly. But what happened was frustrating. The cupcakes are always delicious but I can go elsewhere and get better service where people know what I want, and value my business.

Ah so very good ! Haven't been here in a very very long time but today I stoped in to get the German Chocolate Cupcake and it didn't disappoint! I had forgotten how good the desserts are at Ooh La La. thanks for the absolutely delicious dessert!

Ooh La La was able to put together the cutest little package of cupcakes for a friends birthday celebration. They were delivered via Door Dash, while we are all still social distancing. Made her day! Thank you so much (:

Sadly the location near town and country on Sam Houston and memorial permanently closed. It's a drive for sure to get to this one but love the banana pudding and will make the drive once in a long while. I suppose it's for the best since I was always visiting the shop on Sam Houston and was gaining weight from constantly dropping by for their pudding, cakes and cookies XD the quality is always consistently top tier!! I can recommend dropping by!! A mask is appreciated to enter. I highly encourage calling beforehand to place an order and even do it online if possible!! The staff is always sanitizing surfaces so it does help keep peace of mind!

Snickers cheesecake A+++. Not usually a big cheesecake guy, but this is an exceptional dessert. Don't buy it to share.

The gluten-free macaroons were so good! Unusual flavors and great service. I brought a friend with children here and they went bonkers in love with the cookie choices and the way everything was displayed. They had a good varity of cupcakes and cookies, and everything was made beautifully.

Great old fashioned yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. Like a 50's diner cake!

I ordered the Creme Brûlée and it was disgusting. The Cream wasn't set properly and the mixture had scrambled. It tasted like vanilla flavored scrambled eggs with toasted sugar on top and I couldn't even finish it. Creme brûlée is suppose to have a velvet texture and smooth. Someone needs to learn how to make it properly before they can sell it for $6.50. As you can see in my photo that is the texture of the creme brûlée and that is not what it is suppose to look like.

Amazing. Great selection and high quality goods. Cakes, cookies, cupcakes and more. I went for carrot cake and got a delicious carrot cake cupcake.

I gave them another chance on a whim and the desserts have improved! I was impressed. I went back to my old order (the Pink Lady and Vanilla cupcakes) and they tasted SO much better! The Pink Lady (strawberry cupcake) had the option of vanilla or Strawberry buttercream frosting. I went with the strawberry buttercream and was not disappointed. The frosting tasted like real butter and it was fresh. The cupcake was also moist and very tasty. The vanilla cupcake (I believe it's called the "Nilla") was also very good. Both cupcakes tasted fresh, tasted like they were made with real ingredients and were delicious. Thanks for tasting better and I will be visiting more often!

Well I must admit I was q bit disappointed with this visit compared to other times.... we ordered the daily specials thinking they would be the freshest but found the cake a bit dry. The flavors were on point but I think you will agree no one likes a dry sponge....

I ordered a birthday cake from Ooh La La and it was absolutely incredible. We got a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and it was to die for. I cannot wait for another chance to go back (maybe for one of their giant cupcakes or cookies). When you walk into the store it's so adorable. It would be a great place for a dessert date night! I 100% recommend this place!

My daughter in law bought a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate ganache for my grand daughter's birthday. It was fantastic!
