Biscuit Roti was awesome. Sol kadi, Akki Roti, Mangalore Buns, Bele Holge, Fish fry was good. Khara Kadubu, Donne Chicken Biryani was okay. Liked the outdoor setting with nice Bengaluru weather, useful valet parking service.

I went here on a Friday for lunch around 12:30 pm I had done pre reservation but found the place empty and easily found a place. They have both AC dine in restaurant and outside with the nature setup. They serve the best authentic Udupi food 🤤 I had Biscuit Roti, Goli Baja, Menaski, Neer Dosa. For drinks i had Nallikayi Tambuli ( Indian gooseberry) juice. I highly recommend this juice. A must try at this place. Not to try at this place is Mango Habensro….i take one star off the food cos of this drink. This drink looks very appetising however this is Maza with lot of ice and a whole chilly put in for looks. For the price we pay here I expect actual/ organic mango juice… not Maza

Restaurant itself is ok, most dishes were very tasty, a few not so much. Menu has a great variety though and the mango mocktail was brilliant.

I visited Oota with my husband, for my birthday dinner and I loved the experience so much, I returned twice - once for breakfast with my in-laws, and once for lunch with my friend. Oota is a fine-dine (and expensive) experience and great for special occasions and guests. While we were there, we saw a group or two of foreigners and NRIs accompanied by locals so that they could have a sample of Karnataka cuisine in tastefully done up space. Even their menu (on tablets) is interesting. Each dish is complimented with a visual representation of which part of Karnataka the dish originated from. Oota is spacious, offers dining indoors as well as outdoors, which is great because Bangalore weather is pleasant on most days :) The decor is full of heavy brass lamps, and there's a cute reading nook to keep young guests occupied. Note that usually no cutlery is provided, they encourage eating by hand, as a part of experiencing Indian food. The desserts however come with appropriate cutlery. They also serve a lot of fritters and four kinds of dry chutney and whatnot complimentary. But be sure to not stuff yourself with these while you wait for your order to be delivered, because the food is yummy. I personally enjoyed their neer dosa, biscuit roti, masala dosa, rabdi/payasam, moong dal salad. They have brunch packages as well, though i haven't tried them.

If I rated it last year it would have been an unquestionable 5 across. This year, the cocktails were awful to the point I didn't finish and Pandi curry was a tad bit too salty. The prawns ghee roast and the biscuit roti was awesome and the Coriander chicken and sol kadi was good as well.

The menu is completely Karnataka style, as the name suggests. But I loved the ragi mudde, jowar roti, chicken curry and mutton curry. Food takes 15-20 minutes to come once ordered.

Valet parking was available, they provided complimentary happala and sandige with a variety of chutneys and chutney pudi.. when we asked for a spoon the waiter mentioned they would suggest eating with hands which was to promote our culture.. service was very good.. a bit on the expensive side.. overall experience and taste was good..

Food was absolutely mind blowing. Chicken is highly recommended though the lamb could be made more better. Ambience was 10/10 and the service was to the point however prices may seem bit inflated but overall was a good experience.
