Oota Bangalore

Very nice ambiance with quaint decor that is warm and welcoming. The menu is comprised of south Indian dishes I haven't really seen anywhere else. Though mild in comparison to other local cuisines it definately was very flavorful and tasty. I would highly recommend trying the salads which very fresh, zesty and tangy thanks to the tamarind. We filled up so much trying all the veg startes we only tried two mains: the fish which was very delicate and pinaple curry which was a surprise since I've never tried it before. Sweet but not too much. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

Cocktails were not quite great but the chicken ghee roast was the star of the show. Otherwise it was a reasonable restaurant where you can bring in some friends for dinner.

Excellent food but little on the pricey side. Everything we ate was tasty and cooked to perfection. Worth trying to taste different types of traditional Karnataka cuisine, both veg and non-veg.

In simple word it's not that worth visiting this place. If your clients are giving you party take them here bcoz its pure spicy South India food you can enjy 🤪but if you are paying the bill please don't go bcoz the prices are too high compared to other hotels surrounded there 🥴 Not that attractive but not sure wts the hype 💁and the quantity of starters are all also very less.

Not sure what the hype is all about. Just another place charging thrice the usual amount for "authentic" Kannadiga food. Doesn't have any characteristics of "fine dining". Not that you would get that in India, even at top resturants. Food is nothing out of the ordinary given the price and I have had better food at much much less cost in Bangalore. Simple fact is that if you are happily willing to pay, its good for you. For 4 PAX you will shell out more than 10k for a dinner. So be prepared for that. I don't know but thats what we normal folks call loot!! Great ambiance and live-like music experience. Very well trained staffs and very courteous.

Oota was on my list for a long time . Finally went on a weekday afternoon for lunch . This place was a big disappointment! The food was pathetic . The servers were very kind but they could not compensate for the awful food served . The Sol Kadi had too much masala . The moong dal salad was served with raw moong dal , not steamed at all . It tasted so hard to chew and tasted very dry . We had to ask them to take it back and steam it a little so that we could eat . The ghee roast chicken was the worst I have had so far in Bangalore . It was very spicy and the chicken piece had a bland and meat aftertaste . We couldn’t eat that also . The momos like dish with stuffed lentils was absolutely horrible . It had gone bad and was smelling wierd . The dal stuffing was so dry that it couldn’t be eaten . Biscuit roti was the only dish we ate . The Ragi dessert was extremely sweet and tasted average . I think this place is not the same as it used to be . The quality has gone down big time ! It’s very overhyped and I would not recommend this place to anyone .. the whole mood was spoilt after eating bad food & that too when we went to celebrate a special occasion . I would never go back .

Atmosphere is really good. Less food options. You will get only southindian karnataka special. Not even nan, dal , panner available. But food n taste is great. Quality is great. Located in 7th floor but only two lifts always crowded. Ambience is great.Overall excellent experience. Yes liquor is costly. Smoking zone u have to go to a level down.

We had a wonderful experience at Oota Bangalore! The drinks menu was outstanding, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Special thanks to Balvinder, who not only served everything with a smile but also customized the drinks perfectly to our preferences, it really elevated the experience. We ordered a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and everything was spot on, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The balance of taste and service made the evening truly memorable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, creative cocktails, and warm hospitality. We loved it and will definitely be back!
