The hotel is absolutely fantastic — in the middle of the fields, not far from the dikes… exactly as described, just fantastic!
We had the misfortune of being there when the kitchen was handed over to “pop-up” chefs.
Although the food they prepared was outstanding, the service was beyond poor. In the end, we walked out of the restaurant without finishing our meal because the cooks and servers were too busy talking to their friends instead of looking after their guests.
So, you’d better book when the hotel’s own chef is in charge if you want to get the best experience when dining there.
