Opa Yummy Catering

I have tried several dishes, and everything has been phenomenal! These Sweet cream filled desserts are SO GOOD!!! Fresh ingredients, and everything is made from scratch! If you’re a ‘Foodie’ and a quality snob, this caterer is for YOU!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Cannot recommend enough!

I have been trying to cater from opa yummy for a year but she has been booked on days I’ve needed it and the wait was well worth it. I have tried some other Egyptian restaurants in Houston as well as for catering and they don’t even come close to opa yummy. I bumped into opa yummy at a festival and tried the Kunfah and koshari and knew that I needed to try to cater for my next party. That finally came and the communication was so smooth and the payment was so easy and professional. She brought everything and set everything up and I couldn’t be happier. Now the food… we catered a bunch of things, mombar pops, beef kebab, chicken thighs, cordon bleu, stuffed peppers, and stuffed potatoes and for dessert basbosa, Kunfah with ishta and balah el sham. The mombar pops, kebab, and chicken finished in minutes and I had over ordered to avoid lack of food. The kebab was cooked to perfection. The chicken was sooo juicy and tender. The mombar pops are just pops so everyone was popping them like candy. Her food is very authentically Egyptian and will take you back to Egypt which is so amazing and hard to find these days! Now the dessert the balah el sham was crunchy and so good not too sweet. Her Kunfah I knew was going to be amazing because I had it before and her basbosa is traditional Egyptian basbosa that takes you back to Egypt and makes you question your own basbosa. The food was such a hit that I definitely would reorder with her and order a lot of the same things and probably try some other things on the menu to branch out.

This is the best catering in H-town. I called Chef Heba to cater at a short notice and she helped save my dinner party. She was helpful, responsive, and custom tailored dishes for my party of 26. We loved every bite! Her presentation was phenomenal. She even helped with the setup for perfect buffet style serving. You have to try her rolled grape leaves and that Charkaseya Chicken, yummmmmmmmmmm, Opa!

Heba has the best quality Egyptian food you could ever ask for. Every dish is so authentic and delicious, it brings you back to old memories in Egypt. Truly you can taste the care she puts into each food item. Even the ingredients she chooses are of the best quality. Our family’s personal favorite was the kebab, kofta, lamb chops, Macaroni bashamel, beef golash, and fatta! 😍

Had them at Bayou Art Festival. Beef plate was amazing! I would definitely buy their plate again if I see them next time!

At my company's international culture day, I ordered Koshary with Liver, and the experience was fantastic. Many people from diverse backgrounds enjoyed the taste and seasoning, and I am grateful to Opa team. Thank you for delivering at high quality.

We used Opa Yummy catering for our daughter's birthday party and everything was delicious! The food was fresh and full of flavor. You could tell everything was homemade with love but yet refined. Chef Heba arrived on time and she was very organized and prepared. She had the food set up quickly and efficiently. Our guests all complimented the food and asked where we got it catered from! And she even included a complimentary dessert which was such a nice surprise. My favorite dish was the stuffed cabbage rolls! Super yummy. 10/10 reccomend!
