Open Art is a perfect match for East Village. Whether you need a bite to eat, grab a few items for your pantry or need a quick gift this is the place. The shop is set up to appeal to anyone walking by. (Me!) Clean, neat, a joyful feel and a smile behind the counter. Abby is truly happy to see you. She shared a little of her personal path that brought her here. The pantry items are mostly unique brands with unique flavors. The grab & go items are fresh. Zucchini bread is awesome. I needed a quick house warming gift and found the right place to get it. A basket filled with cute jars of sauces, honey, chocolate, zucchini bread and a small plant. The basket is complete with cellophane cover and twine. I was proud to present it. Good luck with your shop, Abby!

I adore this gourmet market! It is beautiful, has the most delicious food, and very cool condiment products that are difficult to find (specialty horseradish, mustards, hot sauces). The plants they sell are healthy and well taken care of and the pots are artful and come in many sizes. I always find a unique gift here--including gift baskets and self-care items or a cute tote. If you are in the neighborhood they also sell household items and last minute food items. I can't wait to try a charcuterie board or have them cater my net event!

I LOVE this spot! I came upon this modern market while traveling. They have a legit vegan selection and the most delicious prepared salads. The shop is clean and organized. They also sell gift items and snacks. I stocked up before heading to the airport. It was so much tastier then airport food. Super sweet, helpful staff! Solid 5 stars!!

WOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! I would give 10 stars if I could. An ALL STAR market this neighborhood needs, wants and a place I could spend hours in. Abby the owner greeted me as I entered and was such a ray of sunshine to meet. She gave every customer the same amount of love as they came in. Dogs welcomed too and even got an extra special treat. This store is an experience. I also love to eat and shop in places that I find beautiful. The artwork is insane and done by Abby's partner the talented Blacky! Have you ever shopped somewhere where you are designing your apt at the same time? Then there are the candles, cards, plants, gift baskets, t shirts and bags. I had to control myself. But hello what an incredible gift destination. I had to focus because I popped in for food. So then I fell into all the jams, honeys, teas, sauces, salts, peppers, crackers, hummus, grab and go foods, meets and cheeses, bloody mary mix and then I wasn't designing my apt I was planning my next dinner party at my apt. Or I was putting together ideas for gifts and buying cards I didn't know I needed in my life. No matter what people get in here. It's a dream market and you will be happy just walking in here. Such a delicious breakfast biscuit, farm home made, egg and spinach, I throughly enjoyed it, with a free cup of Tired Eyes coffee, from around three corner the day I was there ! Very very cool ambience! Outdoor seating in the morning sun ! A mustn't miss !

Came across this cute new shop the other day and loved it! They had a unique selection of grocery items, plants and great gifts! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Go check them out and support local!
