23 Best Bars in Rome

"Rome’s craft beer headquarters. Purists will be thrilled—there are more brews here than you can count, all lined up on the well-lit bar so you know exactly what you're ordering. The interior feels young, bright, and angular, with ochre walls covered in big, brightly colored drawings. Grab one of the canary-yellow stools that line the marble bar and grok the rambunctious chalkboard to get caught up on the day's best beers. The food—mostly burgers, both meat and vegan—is impressive, varied, and often delightfully wacky." - Maresa Manara

"Drink Italian Craft Brews This pub, owned by the Piedmont-based Baladin brewing company and Lazio's own Birra del Borgo, opened in September 2009 and was quickly canonized as the best place to drink Italian beers in Rome. There are over 120 labels to choose from, ranging from well-known Italian brewers like Baladin and Birra del Borgo to more obscure producers like Lover Beer and Troll; there is also a handful of American beers such as Sierra Nevada and Brooklyn Brewery. In addition to 100 bottled beers, there are anywhere from 20-30 beers on tap. The outgoing staff is happy to make recommendations. The food menu includes salads, sandwiches, potato croquettes, pasta and homemade potato chips."

Amazing brewery and delicious food. Prices are low and there are options for adults, kids, dietary restrictions, and more. They have their own line of brews as well as plenty of brews from around the world!

Stoked we stumbled across this gem. We were greeted promptly and had menus in no time. (Arrived around 2pm) It got even better once I learned they do flights/ beer tastings rather than having to order individual drinks. Big shout out to the smoked "Garden" beer they had, wow, blew me away! Order one of the starter potato chips to accompany your drinks.. (could have devoured one on my own tbh). I can see this place getting swamped, it's a great place if you have chance to sit and enjoy some of your time in Roma, so worth it. Hoping to get there again before we are away. Thanks again!

Google
Horrible service. We arrived when there was only 1 table occupied around 1PM. We ordered croquetes and one sandwich. We waited 40-60 minutes but the sandwich never came out. In addition to the poor service, they only had two highly-rated IPAs and one was sold out.

Google
Great craft beer bar with real quality! I’ve visited many craft and classic breweries in the world and personally completed the Pilsner beer pouring school in the Czech Republic. Here I tried Mama Kriek, Garden, and Elixir — each one different and very tasty. Mama Kriek: fruity, fresh, perfect for light beer lovers. Garden: deep stout with nice smoky flavor. Elixir: soft IPA with pleasant bitterness. Prices are slightly higher, but the quality fully justifies it. The staff is professional and friendly, and the bar has a great relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for beer lovers! Open daily till 1 AM.

Great selection of beers, I’m a fan of barley wines and theirs were really tasteful. They service was great, place is beautiful, for food we only had an appetizer, but it was good as well! :)

My wife, toddler, and I visited this place while escaping the summer heat in Rome and were very happy with our time there. It has an excellent beer selection, a clean restroom, Wi-Fi, and welcoming staff. We look forward to visiting again and trying more beers. Cheers!

Google
Probably the best gastropub in Rome. They have a great selection of beers and refreshing gins. I also enjoyed their own freshly made chips, which were warm, and the chicken and beef grills were wonderful too. Priced well—definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Fantastic little beer bar with an great tap list and low-key, artsy ambiance. You're not really supposed to expect much from beer places in Rome, but I decided to seek out a decent beer bar because I was curious and I wanted to bring back some interesting beer for the Friday bottle share at work. This place delivered on all of that. It's basically the bar for the brewery of the same name, but they have a few in big cities. The brewery itself is in Piozzo closer to Milan and Turin. The tap list was mostly their stuff, but also a few decent guest taps including some impressive things, e.g., Cantillon. My favorite beer was the Xiaoyu fume, which was a smoky, scotch-barrel-aged barleywine and it was fantastic, different and interesting. The space itself is low-key and artsy with chalkboard art everywhere and a dimly-lit, wood-forward space that makes it feel like a bit of dive, but still cozy and on-brand. They also had some non-alcoholic ciders that some people got and the potato chips were good and clearly a bit thicker cut and likely homemade. They had a little bottle shop where you could buy a lot of their stuff as well, so I was able to bring home a bottle of the Xiaoyu Fume to share with people. The only downside was that the service was a bit inattentive. That was fine because almost nobody else was there and I was able to just get up and talk to our server standing by the register and get what I wanted.

Yelp
After exploring Rome, we were looking for somewhere to relax a bit and enjoy an adult beverage or two. Open Baladin was on my list of the most popular bars in Rome on Yelp (in terms of number of reviews) and it was close to where we were at, so we made out way in the afternoon on a Friday. Ambiance (4/5): Open Baladin looks a lot different than your typical Roman establishment. Bright colors, quirky decor, and a beautiful bar area are some of the highlights here. We sat at a table as we wanted to avoid the bar stools (no back support so I've never been a fan). Service (3/5): Typical Italian service. Not terribly attentive or friendly but gets the job done. We had to track down our waiter once or twice to order a beer and close out but that's standard fare in Europe. Food (3/5): My partner in crime had a burger while I had a sandwich with proscuitto and cheese. Pretty much your typical Italian sandwich. Fresh and adequate. Though a bit overpriced. Drinks (4.5/5): This is the highlight. Open Baladin has a fantastic selection of beers including those that I would qualify outside of your typical run-of-the-mill. They have a Belgian beer section of the menu which is always an indication that a bar takes their beer seriously. And most interestingly, for me, they have grape beer . . . say what?! I had never heard of it either. Beer made with grapes, that's a first. While it's not something I would order often, I very much enjoyed trying something new and unique like this. And here I thought grapes were just used to make wine! If you're looking for a cool spot to grab a brew, with a fantastic beer list, and a different vibe than your typical Italian bar, make sure to check them out!

Yelp
My brother is a beer drinker, and though I'm not the biggest one I do partake every once in a while. That being said, he wanted to try some beer bars during our time in Italy so we put a few on our agenda to check out. Open Baladin was one of these spots, and since we had some time before our dinner reservation we stopped here for some beer. Walking in, I was really impressed with the space - it's large with a combination of high tops and tables throughout the dining area. The back wall housed the bar which had bottles stacked up to the ceilings - this made for a really striking focal point. The color scheme was mostly dark woods and warm colors which fit well for being a beer bar. The menu had a large selection of beer, I decided to go with one of their holiday varieties which was quite good. They had a small food selection, and I specifically noticed they had a variety of homemade chips. These seemed like the ideal snack so I ordered some of their original variety which came with homemade ketchup. These were great - not greasy and the ketchup really made it something special. Service was good, everyone was friendly and overall we had a great experience at Open Baladin. Even if you're not the biggest beer drinker, there's enough variety to find something for most people, and the food shouldn't be overlooked.

Yelp
Great selections of craft beer in the heart of Rome! They offer a large selection of drafts- I enjoyed the sour. A nice place where you can just enjoy a brew, but they also offer plenty of food options! At lunch time in June, it was relatively empty. However, as of November they are temporarily closed.

Yelp
Excellent hoppy, bitter beer with easy bites. My friend and I ended up sharing our coming out stories which is always a good tell for a breweries.

Yelp
Craft beer from Italy, in a land where wine is water, this place is a good change up. Upon entering the brewery/pub, you see the amazing wall of bottled beers. I work in an Italian restaurant that serves their beer, so I'm excited to try it on draft. Naztionale is one of their most popular beer and I enjoyed it. Their food menu is very "American" style including cheese burgers, hot dogs, etc. Unless you're really craving that, I would honestly skip it and just have their beer. Not 5 stars because I thought the service was a bit indifferent, I was all excited about getting some swag to bring back to the states and the floor manager was very cold and did not seem to want to help me get different sizes of shirts, etc. I just ended up with a beer glass since it was on the counter. Maybe I caught him on a bad day.

Yelp
Fun place in Rome - a change from wine. Huge beer selection. Great food selection. Fun atmosphere.

Yelp
The beers here were excellent, and there was a lively atmosphere both times I visited. On my second visit, I sat at the bar and it took about 15-20 minutes to get someone's attention to order a beer. The servers served everyone else around me and it seemed like they ignored my gaze on purpose. I didn't take it personally, but it made me not want to stay long. The IPAs are surprisingly good here, so check them out for some good Roman brew!

Yelp
Barley Wine - 5 stars! Beer - 4 stars. Food - 3 stars. The barley wine makes up for the food. Open Baladin brews a variety of beers as well as barley wines. The beers are decent (nothing to write home about) but the barrel-aged barley wines are EXCELLENT! I highly recommend trying the flight of barrel-aged barley wines in which you choose 4 of their BA barley wines for about 20 euros. Prior to ordering the flight, ask to see the booklet of barley wines they have to offer. The food was disappointing. The burgers looked great on the menu, but unfortunately I received a burger that was hardly cooked (despite telling the waiter I preferred a burger medium to well done). Further, burgers were not cheap (about 12 euros) which does not come with any sides. If you opt to get food, they have decent chips with various seasonings and dipping sauces that you can order with your drinks. I suggest saving your money on the food and spending it on the barley wine! These barley wines also make great gifts to bring back home (I brought a 2015 XYAUYU Kentucky Reserve back to the states). Cheers!

Yelp
Baladin has great beer and great food. We tried their potato chips - holy cow! These were phenomenal. We took a look at the beer list and it was seriously impressive with over 20 house beers on tap. I went with their Pilsner and my wife went with a chili stout collaboration between Cigar City (Tampa, FL) and another Italian craft brewer. This was a guest tap I suppose. It looked like almost everyone in the brewpub ordered their burgers, which looked delicous but we didn't eat dinner here. I took forever to put in our beer order, though, even when sitting at the bar. Once we ordered, our beer wasn't served to us for several minutes, like 10 minutes or so, which is crazy. We had to order the same beers again from a different bartender and then they magically appeared! Pretty bizarre.

Yelp
While in Rome we got a little home sick and craved a Cheeseburger. Open Baladin made such a great burger we came back for another before we left. lol I had their bacon burger and asked for it cooked the way the cook suggested. Burger came out perfectly medium rare every time! Chips were made in house! They have a great tap list! Even better they have Cantillon in house and bottles to-go as well! I snagged a Rose, Kriek, and Gueuze before I left!

Yelp
Honestly, if you order a burger, preferably the one with bacon and roasted pepper, and the Sidro, it's impossible to not be impressed - and an ABSOLUTE five stars. The other food was good - but the burger was far superior. Only one of our group of six ordered it because we are American tourists and were trying to be more Italian, but every single one of us is still dreaming about that burger. Every beer we tried was excellent but Sidro was the favorite (an Italian Cider - not too sweet). Great air conditioning spot for R&R in the middle of a hot Roman day and service was excellent. This was an unexpected treasure.

Yelp
Being from the states, finding a place with local craft beers is always exciting, especially when you're in Rome and can try local Roman craft beers! They have a massive selection of beers on tap with everything from Ales, Lagers, Fruit-based and IPA's. They also serve delicious fries and massive burgers. It is in a side alley off of a main street but once you are inside you realize how massive the inside is! An abundance of tables and bar seating. Head to the bar for some quick service aka fast beer refills. Order the Cacio e Pepe chips they are covered in Parmesan and pepper, delicious! This place is a nice spot if you are looking for something for an American cheeseburger with a bit of Italian flare. You can't make reservations online but we went on a weekday and there was plenty of seating!

Yelp
If you are following my reviews you know that after spending over a week in Rome I was sick of pizza and pasta. I ventured out looking for a veggie burger, something that proved to be extremely difficult in Italy. Here in America a veggie burger can be found at most hamburger joints. I will be honest: This restaurant was not on my list of places I wanted to go to. We ended up here by chance, the restaurant we initially planned to go to was booked. I feel like that is the Yelp universe telling me that better things lay ahead. We arrived late on a rainy Monday night. There were a lot of customers inside, but this restaurant is huge. I believe there are three floors, multiple sections for everyone. For drinks we went with the hard apple cider, something that proved to be even more difficult to find than a veggie burger. We started with fried potato balls. I wouldn't call these anything special, but they were tasty. The kind of tasty that I am not sure if I need to order them again but you should try them. My boyfriend went with the *hot* chicken, it was basically fried chicken strips that were only a little spicy. They were delicious, but again not as spicy as represented. My boyfriend also got a Caesar salad, it was very large and we did not finish it all. I went with the veggie burger that was made from mushrooms and potatoes. After having the fried potato balls I was disappointed in my burger. It had the exact same texture of the fried potato balls, basically mush. It tasted fine, but the texture was extremely weird. Honestly I probably would normally get this place three stars based on the service, however; I have noticed that in Italy servers do not come to your table often. I asked for another cider and had to remind my waiter 15 minutes later. If I ever happen to be in the area again I would not be opposed to visiting this restaurant the second time.

Yelp
If there were zero stars, I would give them that. My wife and I contracted food poisoning from the Tom Sawyer burger we shared here, the only meal we shared that day and the food poisoning set in before dinner. I have emailed them and received no response. They know what they did but will not apologize or refund my money for the meal which should be the minimum at this point. Do not eat here!
google avatar

Yelp
Great place. Great location. The beer is awesome, the chips are awesome, but I expect the beef patty for burger that I order to be the same size of the bun. The meal was good, but I expected the same beef to bread ratio I record a 10:6 ratio. Beer is good. The service is okay. They can be busy so you have to be good at flagging them down. Compared to America their prices are on the expensive side, but when in Rome. Overall good night. Oh and their chips are amazing. Got a second order just because of how awesome they were.

Yelp
Great burgers and homemade chips! Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Our server was very sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive. Their burgers are made with quality ingredients. It all tasted great. After eating lots of delicious Italian food, it was nice to change it up a bit and grab a burger. There is plenty of seating inside and their restrooms are clean. The vibe here is very laid back which is nice. Hubby got a beer too and he said it was really good. They have a huge variety of beers. Their portions are generous. Glad we dropped by.

Yelp
This is a great place for some beers!!! I unfortunately had too many the night before and just couldn't bring myself to have any here. My fiancée was looking for a place like this and we yelped/trip advisor this place came up. Cool place with so many beers options!! My fiancée sampled a few and just couldn't decide which one he wanted. This place also has many burgers it was my second day in Italy so I still wanted my pasta fix! This place is perfect for some beers and burgers! They look good but I did not try any. If you want a good beer selection and food options aside from Italian this is the place for you!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're a beer snob, you'll find the drinks to be good not great. But the food was quite memorable. I ate the best salad of my trip at Open Baladin. My husband said his burger was delicious. If you want to come here when it's not crowded, I suggest checking this place out on a Saturday afternoon. We easily got a table and had great service from our waiter.
google avatar

Kylie S.

Yelp
On our way back to our hotel we decided to check out Open Baladin for a beer or 2. We had just ate so we didn't have any food. It wasn't very busy so we had our pick of tables. They have a lot of beers (theirs and guest taps) to choose from, which is nice. They're all separated by style. My husband and I both had an IPA. It was good, but not great. Next I had a sour beer by Tilquin. It was delicious as always. It was so nice to stop in to a place that somewhat reminded us of a brewpub in the states. We enjoyed visiting and would stop in again!

Yelp
I didn't think it would happen, but after traveling in Italy for three weeks I grew a bit tired of pasta, pizza, and wine. Sacrilege, I know. Enter Open Baladin, the epicenter of Roma's craft beer scene, or birra artigianale as they would say in the Eternal City. Open Baladin has an entire wall and tome of beers from around the world, which made my husband and I very happy (and just a little tipsy.) The food is elevated pub fare, with burgers galore and ultra gourmet chips with fascinating flavors. My husband ordered the licorice ones which I can't say I enjoyed, but their classic ones were perfectly salted and a great match for the beer. I opted for a tartare with beef from Piedmont, which was so decadent and the beef as tender as could be. Gabrielle Bonci, one of Rome's most celebrated chefs is the kitchen manager here, so you know all food is bound to be good. Very friendly and hip place putting Italian beers on the map.
google avatar

Krystie D.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone wanting to sit and enjoy some beers while in Rome. It's located in a non-descript street that had us second guessing our directions. Came one night for drinks. I had the Elixir, a delicious beer blended with whiskey. Decided to come back to try there vegetarian meal selections. The falafel sandwich was very tasty, a friend had the veggie burger (also good), the white chips were delicious. The home fries were ok, the BBQ sauce has fish in it so if you're vegetarian, stay away. Reservations are good but not entirely necessary. Overall, a fun place with great beers.
google avatar

Yelp
We made reservations here for 7:30 on a Sunday night. Pretty cool that you can make reservations at most places in Rome, even if it is a bar/pub. Sunday night was calmer of course than Friday or Saturday night but it must have also been family night... lots of families with kids, mostly well behaved though. We love this bar due to the multitude of draft and bottle beer choices. Open Baladin makes a lot of the beers they have on tap and we had several of them. My favorite was the amber but all of the beers we had (from them) were actually good in our opinion. We both ended up getting the chicken caesar salad, which was much more than we could eat. The chicken was real grilled pieces and tasty and the salad wasn't a caesar you'd get in the US, but it was pretty good and we though the 12 euros for a good meal that we couldn't finish due to the size was a good deal. We could have actually split one so keep that in mind if you're in the mood for a salad! This was our third visit over two trips, so we must like it :)

Yelp
Great spot for a cold beer. Good staff, great chips and the burger wasn't too bad for Italy.

Yelp
After having pasta and pizza non stop for 9days straight, I was definitely ready for a burger and chips!!!! Word on the street this is "the best burger place in Rome". Well I can say, it was "DARN GOOD"!!! Open Baladin is situated in a quieter street so fear not, you aren't actually lost! Once you enter, there's tables and stools. Real casual feel. And then... you all the beer taps and the blackboards with all the beers they serve. It's BEER HEAVEN for the blokes who love it!! For me, I opted for Open Baladin's version of coke and also their version of Fanta. I was super thirsty and couldn't drink another drop of alcohol haha! Ordered the No.Au Burger (steak tartare burger), country styled potato wedges with BBQ sauce, classic chips and white chips with garlic and pecorino cheese. What I didn't expect when the chips came out was that they were cut and fried and looked like crisps you buy from the supermarket. I was initially a bit sceptical when I saw them because I assumed they just poured it out of a packet but was SO SURPRISED when I realised they were freshly made chips!! Tasted amazing!! Next the burger.. Really delicious!!! Not your average burger you get which is a nice change. My only complaint (this is only because I like sour stuff) was the lack of gherkins. It would have given the burger a bit of a booster. Overall, I was a very very satisfied customer!!

Yelp
At the tail end of my 10-day Italy vacation, I was growing sick of pasta and wine and needed a break. Open Baladin Roma served as a perfect pause. When you walk in, you'll be greeted by a full wall of beer bottles behind the bar and a spacious seating area. From Baladin to LoverBeer, their menu hosts Italian brews of varying styles and ABVs for beer enthusiasts. At our table, we tried a few rounds of sour bottles for the most part, but we had to include an Open Baladin in the mix! I also ordered the chicken burger, which was delicious but a bit overdone. We split some kind of flavored balls as well, and they were great! Service was friendly and mostly prompt, and the decor is awesome. I'd go back in an instant on a future visit to the city!

Yelp
Epic find in Rome! Spectacular food and beer. Had Cacio E Pepe from the lunch menu and Burger Tar Tar from the regular menu. Friendly staff and lots on tap including Baladin, Cantillion, and Extraomnes.

Yelp
What a cool place! As much as I love drinking wine in Italy, a girl needs some beer sometimes! We found Open Baladin Roma via Yelp, and it did not disappoint. I loved the atmosphere, lots of colorful paintings on the walls, wall behind the bar lined with beer bottles from floor to ceiling, and LOTS of tap lines! The beer was fantastic, so many delicious types of Italian beer, especially my favorites, sours. We drank more off the bottle list than the draft list, because the bottle list had all the yummy sours. Prices were reasonable, 10-15EUR per "large" bottle. The food was also amazing. We had an appetizer of samplers which were delicious. I also had a veggie burger which was one of the best veggie burgers I've ever eaten. It was big, juicy, and had a delicious sauce on it. Service was also fantastic, the waitresses were awesome and everyone was cool and friendly. We definitely stayed for a while and drank our fair share of Italian bottles! Great spot. Highly recommended for an Italian beer fan.

Yelp
We were in Rome for a few days and made it our business to come back numerous times. It wasn't near our hotel at all but the beer selection is one of the best selections I have ever seen. Brought a couple of the small beers to bring back home, which was gone the 1st day we got back from vacation. We never got the opportunity to try the food but based on the beer alone this place deserves all 5 stars.

Yelp
You might think a brew pub in Rome, how good could it be? Well, the answer is excellent. Great selection of well crafted beer and excellent menu of the Roman version of pub grub. Hidden gem....find it!

Yelp
Its a very nice, modern and cozy restaurant! Chicken tenders and chips are excellent and there is a big variety, even cacio e pepe chips! Hamburgers looked really good and their artisanal beer was exquisite!

Yelp
I've spent the past 30 years with one foot in Italy and one foot in the US. Born in L.A., married in Italy, back and forth all the time. When I am in the states, I am always missing decent Italian food, and when I am in Italy... well, there are times that I am just jonesing for a good burger. Here's the thing... In all of these years, I never found a burger in Italy that I would even dare rate as "decent". I even found myself at times going to McDonald's for that occasional fix. UGH! McDonald's. Hard for me even to say that! But as much as I have tried, Burgers in Italy have always just sucked. Until I finally came to Open Baladin. Thank you, Yelp! I may never have otherwise found it. The burgers are FANTASTIC. And I don't mean by comparison to the other junk burgers I have had in Italy... they are actually really, really good! To the point that if this place were in the states, it would still be one of my top choices! The location here is just a few hundred feet from Campo dei Fiori, on an unassuming back street that is easy to miss. When you walk in, you will find a great vibe that feels "American in Italy". Chalk boards, high tables & chairs, and a wall of beer... but with Italian style that is hard to define. They pride themselves on their craft beer, which is something you don't find much of in Italy, but I appreciated quite a bit. The menu here has burgers, hot dogs, and all sorts of Italian comfort food favorites, done VERY well. We had their chips, which were completely home made and served with home made ketchup. The chips were excellent, and the ketchup was out of this world!!! We also had come Crochette. These are fried potato balls with melted cheese and pancetta inside, served with a home-made mayo sauce. Again, FANTASTIC!!! Finally we had burgers. Mine was the Capri Burger with Buffalo mozzarella & tomato, served with homemade basil-mayo. We also had them add some grilled speck (almost like bacon). The patty was huge, the buns were soft and delicious, the meat was excellent, and all around it was 5 stars all the way! Simply put, they NAILED IT! The price was a bit high, but I am happy to pay it for the premium quality! To close it up, I would not normally suggest people visiting Rome to have anything but Italian food when in Italy. I mean, you ARE in Italy. And I get frustrated when I see tourists lining up at McDonald's or the Hard Rock in Rome. But this place is a pretty awesome hybrid that brings the best of Italian culinary style to American tradition. It is Italian-American fusion done right. So if you really want a burger, please... I beg you to pass on the golden arches and the hard rock.... This place is EXCELLENT!!!

Yelp
After a few nights of pizza and pasta we decided to try some burgers for a change. The veggie burger with mushroom was a good choice. Their fries/ chips were also great. The beers we sampled that evening all tasted unique and were a nice change to the wine the previous nights.

Yelp
The beer was great. At least in terms of what is available in Rome. These guys brew some very good beers and has a selection of bottles from other European breweries as well. An enjoyable stop for a beer enthusiast in Rome.

Yelp
What can I say that hasn't already been said about Open Baladin?! This place is amazing and if you are in to beer, this is a MUST visit while in Rome. It's located in the very popular and hip Trastevere neighborhood of Rome and is easy to find. It's a nice, open space with plenty of seating - both at the bar and at many tables. There was also a 2nd room and a downstairs area. I love the view when you enter - the 1st thing you see is a huge wall of beer behind the bar. Um, yes please! They have approximately 40 taps - all beers being only 5 euros, which is fantastic! They even had Cantillon on cask, and I'm am fairly certain that's what gets most of us Americans here. Haha! They also have more than 100 bottled beers available, and I actually bought a bottle of Cantillon to bring home. The food was actually very good. We didn't have burgers, but they definitely sounded delicious. We shared the fried potato ball thingys (I forget what they are called) and they were freaking amazing! Then we had the homemade chips with paprika, and they were also very good. The service was fast and friendly and they offer free wifi. Bascially, if you love beer and you don't visit Open while in Rome, you are seriously missing out. This was one of my favorite places while visiting!

Yelp
Most people got to Rome for the Colosseum or Trevi Fountain, I go for Open Baladin. This is great please if you are into beer. They have a big selection of Italian and non-Italian brews including the house brand Baladin. The best part, everything is 5 euros. I decide to stick with the house brand, after all they make really good beer. On my first visit I had the Xyauyu Barrel, a barleywine aged in rum cask. This beauty is highly rated and deservedly so. Notes of vanilla and fruits with a high ABV makes it a beer to sip softly and enjoy. On my second visit I went for the Super, a Belgian strong ale that seemed a bit weak but enjoyable. Then I had the Nora a delicious egyptian style ale of amber hazy appearance with a small head and notes of citrus and spice that made for a beer you want to have always close. Once again, if you love beer this is a place NOT to be missed when in Rome. And by the way, the food is pretty good too.

Yelp
Great beer. Funky decor. Very crowded even at midnight on a Monday. There are about 30 beers on tap - at least half are their own. They also serve food, but we didn't try any because we came from dinner.

Yelp
This place is a diamond in the rough! It's located on a side street and very unassuming but the second you walk in, you fall in love! Great music, relaxed vibe and wonderful staff. I didn't have a burger but I had their house made chips and they were amazing! Such a great find!

Yelp
Came in and sat down. It was as if we were invisible. Waitresses waited on and served other people completely ignoring us. It took about twenty minutes to get a beer and the place was not busy I practically had to tackle a waitress to get the beer. My wife ordered the second round at the bar and that took a while as well. Waitress brought the bets and had no idea which beer was which Ordered chips we never saw and the bathroom was disgustingly dirty Don't need to ever return

Yelp
Quality tasty food. Apathetic servers. I had to chase people down to ask for drinks and to pay them. So strange.

Yelp
Quick review.. there's seems to be about 34 beers on tap. All of the IPAs are exceptional, from the NEIPA to the double IPA. Prices are about 5 euros per pour, slightly cheaper than the US for high alcohol craft beer. If you enjoy good beer come here, best I have seen in Italy. Also, don't forget to order the chips. 5 star for selection and flavor. Service is also very fast.

Yelp
After eating pasta, pizza or sandwich for days, my husband and I wanted something different and lucky enough stumbled upon this joint. We were so happy that there was a table open and that Bonci (Pizzarium) makes the buns. We knew we were in for a treat. We ordered our burgers and their cacio e pepe chips and were happy the rest of the evening. The chips are homemade and we're covered in of course, cheese and pepper, taking after the pasta dish. It was divine and was more than enough to share among 2 people. The burger was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and our food arrived shortly after placing our order.

Yelp
Best selection of beers in Rome and the waiters can help you choose if you want. Cosy relaxed informal and great fast service. Great in winter....a bit dark in summer.

Yelp
This place was absolutely horrible. I never write reviews but I HATE THIS PLACE! The service was beyond terrible and so was the food. I got food poisoning from this place and it's ruined almost a week of my trip in Italy! I asked for a medium rare burger and it came out RAW. And I'm not joking like completely RAW. So I asked if they could cook it longer, which they did and it came out like a minute later. I'm so disappointed.

Yelp
This was one of our favorite spots in Roma! The food is great and the beer selection made us visit twice in our 4 day stay in the city :) We stumbled upon it because it was close to our hotel, and I'm glad we did. The atmosphere is fun. Definitely recommend this place

Yelp
Great decor, service and beer selection. The place to visit when you have had enough prosecco and Spritz! Make sure to check the house beers, they are delicious!

Yelp
This was my favourite place in Rome, it's in a really cool area called Trastevere where you can get lost walking in and out of bars, restaurants and cafes. We didn't eat here as much as I begged my boyfriend that we should but we had already booked a table at a different restaurant that was very tasty! Anyhoos..for some really yummy beers from extremely knowledgeable staff ,this is the best place for it. They literally know everything about every drink it's fascinating to listen to and really shows their passion! If you're ever in Rome, make sure you visit here! You'd be really silly not to!

Yelp
I guess this is a novelty concept for Italy. It was cool, I guess but I felt as though I didn't belong. Not hipster enough for this place. But that is not the reason 3 stars are given. The beer was nice and fresh. Very good. The food? Not so much. Sorry Italy, you cannot do burgers. Don't try. Both my husband's burger and the sandwich I got were extremely dry. My sandwich was so dry I had problems swallowing it. Service was quick and friendly. Our waitress was very patient and explain the menu and beer selections.
