We absolutely loved our experience here. We tried to come once before and the wait was too long, so this time we made a reservation! The food was amazing 10/10. The service was great, our drinks stayed full and we had no issues with food. We went on a Friday night and there was live music which was nice and it wasn’t too loud like some places do! I got the wagyu sliders and they were absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got the Peruvian half chicken and said it was some of the best chicken he’s ever had. We both tried his fries and they were so crispy and had a great crunch to them. We will definitely be returning!!

Overrated‼️ Sooo… I ordered a steak and a beer. The beer wasn’t bad, but the steak platter was horrible! First of all, the fries were oily as hell, and the steak was completely tasteless. I asked the server to change the fries and even showed them how greasy they were, they agreed on that and they told me that’s how they make them so the herbs can stick! Whattt?? That was mind-blowing, in the worst way. Don’t waist your money and go there if you’re actually looking to enjoy food. The only thing I liked was the beer 😅

I love this place. The staff is always welcoming and the manager, Mike was also really attentive. The pizza and basil blue cocktail are my favorites. Make sure to make a reservation because they get busy! Don’t forget to look for their hidden gem, Heirloom. It’s a cute speak easy hidden within Open Road.

This place was lively. I sat at the bar, and they had at least three bartenders. They were all friendly, some more observant than others. The food was delicious. I recommend the blackened chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was tenders and well seasoned. If you like mojitos, I recommend vodka Mojito.

Google
It's tough because I like this space but this feels as eclectic as the wall of a cracker barrel with some of their choices for food/drinks/theme. There was a concept of a "good idea cut off line" that was preached to me in youth that the management of this company did not talk through before opening the location where it is. As I sit, eating a mediocre breakfast taco and drinking a mediocre cocktail, I look around and see a total of 1 other table occupied. I lament that this seems like it'll be another in a long list of closed reston restaurants, but for what it is, I can tell someone cared a lot. I just cant also tell that person should've been told "no" at some point.

Google
Overall experience was great, loved the maple old fashioned and top notch service! The one negative for me was the fires that came with my steak frites were too greasy. I did not capture photos of the appetizers but the birria quesadilla, and the wagyu sliders were phenomenal. I also strongly recommend the espresso martini.

Google
First time here and it was a very positive experience. The beer was good (although a bit expensive), the salmon was excellent (everyone else cleaned their plates), and it wasn’t very noisy (conversation was easy). Our server was great and we were happy campers. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Had a fun Saturday night out with a friend! The live music was great! Shane...don't remember his last name...was a great addition to night. Excellent singer and guitar player. I had the open road burger. It was good but a bit messy. My friend had the steak frites and said it was very good. She also loved the maple syrup old fashioned. Service was excellent, again great atmosphere. We will be back!

Yelp
I love coming to Open Road to grab a drink. The bar area is rather big and it's a nice place to meet up with people. They have some creative cocktails and decent assortment of beer on draft. They do have a happy hour menu, but it's not a huge cost savings. I like the complimentary popcorn in the bar area. The dining room is rather large and accommodates families and groups (just make sure you get a reservation). The menu is on the larger side, so easy to find something everyone will enjoy. Food can be a bit slow to come out at times. The food and drinks are always consistent. There is a tasting room, but the hours vary, so be sure to double check when they are open and available. You'll need a reservation as well. Don't get this confused with the "speakeasy" located in the back of the restaurant. Heirloom is incredible!! Amazing creative and complex cocktails and maybe one of the best burgers I've ate!

Yelp
Open Road Mosaic has been our local watering hole for 4+ years now. We LOVE the service, the food, the cocktails, the live music and the overall ambiance. You always know what you are going to get and it is ALWAYS consistent. We learned about the Reston location because we love the old fashion and found out the the whisky was distilled in Reston so we knew we had to check it out. We went on a Sunday for the Commanders game and were sad in a semi private wing with lots of windows and natural light which was perfect for our large party with two kids. The vibes were similar to the Mosaic location, clean, cozy and lots of TVs! We had a grazing day. We ordered the nachos, sweet potato fries, brussels sprouts, birria quesadilla, brunch burger, and fig pizza. All of these items were delicious and reminiscent of the Mosaic location! One item that we received and were disappointed in was the loaded baked potato soup. It came out cold and was just meh. Will not repeat order. Overall, we loved the experience though I will say, we prefer the staff at Open Road Mosaic! That said, we will be back!

Yelp
Landed up in this restaurant by chance. It is a distillery I suppose. So was surprised that the inside is family friendly with nice decor and a large dining area. The menu is quite elaborate. The food was decent. I had the blacked salmon and bread pudding. The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch.

Yelp
Family told me about this place, really enjoyed. Large space in RTC, plenty of parking. Food was really good, had a chicken salad. Rest of group enjoyed theirs including the margaritas. Only knock was service, not terrible, but great confusion over Brunch vs Regular menu and had to ask twice for a few things. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Instead of bread and butter they serve popcorn but I will say it was a bit stale. They do have a tasting room for whiskey. I ordered the birria quesadilla and a drink. I wish the quesadilla had more meat in it. It was really thin and even though I expected it to fall apart but it was mostly tortilla and little meat. I think the tortilla was a corn tortilla. But the drink was strong. The quesadilla was still good I still wish it had a little more meat.

Yelp
First time here watching Tampa Bay lightning against the Capitals on screen and vibe was great! Service was excellent by Gabriella and manager turned channel to our game. Had cava bruit and only ate Bar Food like french fries and pretzels which were okay. Complimentary popcorn was my favorite same restaurant group as El Bebe & Circa but service definitely stood out here!

Yelp
Sam was our waiter and he was very attentive and outgoing. He felt comfortable checking in with our table of three and was cordial but not distracting. The food we got was the blackened salmon, the fish tacos and the pretzel and the potato soup. The salman was loved by my guest as was the fish tacos. The pretzel was very good but the soup was lacking and it came out mildly cold. It also did not look or taste like it should for potato soup so I would pass on this appetizer until they figure out a better was to present it. Overall a good visit.

Yelp
This place was delicious. Everyone enjoyed there meal. Last time I was here I had Jambalaya (very good) and this time I had the combo fajita which was amazing. I definitely will be coming back.

Yelp
Came for a late brunch as we were in the area and was not disappointed. A pleasantly large space with a game area, a tasting room, and a shop to take home their distilled goods. Service was great. My only comment is that there walk from the back door (parking) to the front door (hostess) is pretty long with no signals to where we are supposed to be. A second checkin area, or at least a sign directing where to go, would be helpful as there were three people at the front and 0 in the back. The children's menu was satisfactory with a pretty large portioned cheese burger (and fries). I tried the open burger which came with a tasty onion ring. The biscuits and gravy were also excellent. We ended up with a doggy bag but satisfied. Would definitely return to try their tasting room!

Yelp
Incredible meal, excellent old fashioned maple with their own rye - will def be back to explore the menu further!

Yelp
Had lunch here. The ambiance was nice and the place was large and roomy. The business was a little slow for a Thursday afternoon. I sat at the bar and the tender was extremely attentive. Had the "open road burger" and it was very good. Prepared to order at medium rare. I would only say it was a little too large and stuffed. I could barely take a bite. The house fries were good with a fair amount of salt. This place looks like it could be a winner when you're looking to watch that big game. Hopefully they have a complete full sports package to support the plethora of TVs. On a final note the cocktails and craft brews are fully available and they have a game room for those so inclined.

Yelp
Had a man at the table next to me loudly refer to me as a c-nt and said that Trump was going to deport me next week. Management did absolutely nothing about him and didn't even make the jerk move away from me. He continued to harass me and my friends for over an hour but they refused to kick him out. Wrong food came out for me. Service was very slow. All around one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Will avoid this place and their clientele in the future.

Yelp
Good food and a fun environment. I enjoyed my experience at Open Road Distilling, there was a lively atmosphere and the restaurant had a very nice layout. The food was good with plenty of options. I got the "Open Road Burger" which I enjoyed. I also did the tasting in their tasting room. While I wasn't a big fan of all of the different alcohols, it was a very enjoyable experience and the staff were great. There were a few hiccups during the night, like someone ordered a Heineken (as shown on the menu) but the restaurant only had Heineken Zero, but no major issues. The restaurant has a lot of seating, a large bar area and what looked like semi-private side rooms. There are also some arcade games in a room and some TVs around the restaurant. All of this adds to the lively atmosphere created by the staff and the other restaurant patrons. Overall, I would describe Open Road Distilling as an upscale sports bar with a distillery and tasting room. It's a nice clean restaurant and a great place to go with friends or family for a casual evening.

Yelp
This place opened very recently. Usually, we give new places time to get their act together. However, when talking with my hairstylist, she said she had come here for a meal and thought that they had their act together already. Well...we were here on a Saturday around 5 p.m. and we have to say that they still have some kinks to work out. We did come here without a reservation. However, the young woman at the host stand said they could seat us in about 10 to 20 minutes. Even though we were sitting mere feet away from her, she insisted on getting our phone number in order to text us when our table was ready. We gave her the info but in the end, she just walked over to where we were sitting and told us our table would be ready in "2 minutes", which it was. Some things to note --- the place is very loud, so loud that you have to shout to have a conversation. Acoustics are terrible and the place is cavernous. The one up side to all of this---when families come with little kids, no one notices when they get loud. They also have an arcade with various games but we didn't investigate. After we got seated and given menus, our server came by. He asked for our drink order. My husband wanted a lite beer and it took 3 tries before they found a brand that was in stock. I tried a mixed drink called "life is bueno". It consists of: "Camareno Resposado tequila, housemade blood orange shrub, agave, lime, Angostura orange bitters". It turned out to be a decent drink---not too sweet, not too bitter. Here's when things started to go sideways...We decided to get an appetizer and chose "Heirloom tomato bruschetta" which consists of: "heirloom cherry tomatoes, marinated mozzarella , basil pesto, garlic grand rustico". We assumed our server left to enter our order. When he returned, we ordered our main courses. I chose the "French onion burger" which consists of: "gruyere cheese, carmelized onions, crispy onions, brioche bun, steak sauce, aioli, handcut fries". My husband ordered Shrimp + grits" which consists of: "blackened shrimp, stone ground cheddar grits, andouille sausage, roasted peppers, corn, baby spinach". With our entire order now given, we waited...and waited. The drinks came out quickly but most of the wait time was for the food. When the food came out, the entrees showed up. My husband asked the runner what happened to our appetizer. He said he would check. After that, the appetizer showed up. We asked our server what happened as the appetizer should have come out long before the entrees. He said he would talk to the manager. Then he returned to say the appetizer would be comped. Now...try eating an appetizer while your main course is there---no fun. As for the food --- My husband said his dish was okay. He was surprised to see that the tails were left on the shrimp and he said the grits were on the runny side. Also, we noticed that the meal wasn't well plated. As for me, I did like my burger. It was cooked medium as I asked. However, there were no crispy onions which would have given the burger that nice element of crunchiness. I was impressed that the brioche bun held up very well as I ate the burger. The fries arrived piping hot. However, there were far too many of them so I only ate a few. As for the appetizer, we didn't think that cherry tomatoes work well with a bruschetta but they were ripe and flavorful. The mozzarella was cut into tiny cubes and there wasn't enough of it. The bread was basically 4 slices of toast. All this was smothered in balsamic vinaigrette. When the check came, no one took off the appetizer. We told the server and then the manager came out and apologized. He said the mix up was the server's fault. Then he corrected our check to reflect the comped item was removed. So...they are still working out the kinks. Our experience had us wondering if the servers were properly trained. Hopefully, that will be corrected. As an aside, they have a restaurant inside the restaurant called "Heirloom". Their menu is more upscale and the items all look good if pricier. We are interested in eventually giving Heirloom a try but not for quite a while yet. If you do go to Open Road or Heirloom, be sure to make a reservation. After we were about to be seated, the hosts were telling large parties that there was a 2 hour wait! Needless to say, no one got on the list for that, instead they left. Maybe when the newness wears off, things won't be so crazy.

Yelp
New & Huge in Reston Town Center! Happy to see a new restaurant coming to RTC again. Brought to you by Metropolitan Hospitality Group which also owns Circa, El Bebe and others. It is in the former Balducci's space so it is quite the site upon walking in. Huge barrels and the tasting room is to the left and a huge bar towards the back with numerous tv's. Immediate thought- Great place to catch a game in the future. Instead of bread the waitress brings out popcorn on the house. Taking a look at the menu and you have the usual bar favorites - burgers, pizza, salads, etc. I go with the Grilled BBQ Chicken sandwich and my dining companions go with the Grilled Shrimp salad and the Shrimp Poboy. I enjoy the grilled chicken...moist, nice bbq sauce with a chipotle aioli and arugula. The grilled shrimp salad is also tasty with jicama, edamame, radishes and perfectly grilled shrimp. We all enjoy our dinner. Excited to have another good option at RTC. Hope to see the crowds return like the good ol'days.

Yelp
Went for some bar food and drinks on a Friday night. There was no wait and we got seated close to the stage. We were a party of three so we may have gotten lucky. The music was nice, the artist was singing country, sadly the group of people that had rented a space near the front were incredible loud so we couldn't really hear the music. We were able to talk without having to raise our voices. Our server was very nice, the drinks were great and the Korean bbq wings, nachos, onion rings and burger were great! I truly recommend checking out this place.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place and did find everything about pretty favorable. I'm in town for a professional conference in an adjacent hotel and started my Open Road journey by making reservations for 4. An hour later they were able to make the reservation work for 6. Then again 2 hours prior to our appointment I asked if they could bump it up to a party of 8 and once again they were able to make the adjustment. This all gave me a good feeling going in as with each conversation they were exceptionally nice! The place is VERY roomy with plenty of circulation space. In fact even their restroom was very spacious. Kind of odd I noticed this, I know, but given my profession (Architect) no one should be surprised. The acoustics was also pretty good and while sitting in the middle of the table I could hear to both end seats. Of our party of 8 everyone cleaned their plates and especially loved the copious appetizers we ordered. I found the decor to be very nice and made an excellent backdrop. The same conference next year is in the same hotel so right now I plan on revisiting the restaurant. Oh, and they make pretty good cocktails.
google avatar

Chloe C.

Yelp
This is a great spot for a family dinner and to watch sporting events! I stopped in here with a party of 8 without a reservation, and the manager was so kind and accommodating. She found a table for us right away with no reservation. We started with the pretzel and the calamari. Both were fabulous, and the cheese sauce that came with the pretzel was heavenly! For my main, I ordered the grilled shrimp salad. It was so light and fresh, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The rest of the group ordered the shrimp bo boy, the grilled cheese, the fried chicken sandwich, the meat lovers pizza, the salmon salad, and the grilled chicken Cesar. Everyone licked their plates clean! Can't recommend this place enough if you're in the area!

Yelp
I've been to the location in Merrifield and I knew that this new location had recently opened in Reston Town Center and I wanted to give it a try. Came in on a busy Saturday night and got a table pretty quickly. It was definitely buzzing with lots of people, various tastings occurring in the tasting room, the TV is filled with college football and lots of activity. It was really busy and eventually a manager came over and indicated that my server was swamped so he offered to get me started and I was ready to put in my full order. I ended up getting a hard seltzer and the combination fajitas. Got a combination of steak and shrimp as I wanted more than just steak. I ordered it without sour cream as it's just my preference. Eventually my server came by and I said that my order had been put in and everything was fine. The hard seltzer was good and the fajitas were even better. The shrimp were really good but the kitchen didn't leave the sour cream off as I had indicated. Okay, that's all right. I can just scrape it off myself except it ruined everything around it because I just don't like it. That is the only reason for one less star because I ordered something specifically and it didn't arrive the way I ordered it. Sure, I could have sent it back, but opted to just eat it and let the server know when he came back. Since it had been my only meal of the day I was a little bit hungry and I wanted dessert which I asked the server for a recommendation. He recommended the s'mores pie which was outstanding. I love chocolate and I love the combination of chocolate marshmallows and graham crackers and this was just perfect. It was the perfect end to a very good meal. I recommend that you give this place a try. Good food, good service, and a great spot for people watching.

Yelp
I've been to Open Road twice now, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Reston Town Center. When you arrive they give you a free basket of popcorn to start, which is a fun starter. The first time I went, I got the jambalaya which was super flavorful and filling. This last time I got the meat lovers pizza, which was covered in so many toppings. Both times I've gotten the classic margarita which had just the right amount of lime and tequila. The place is also a distillery, so you can get a drink with their liquors (vodka, gin and bourbon). The inside of the restaurant is pretty big and they also have some outdoor seating. I've heard they also have a speakeasy, but I haven't tried that yet. The service both times has been really attentive and we didn't have to wait too long to order or get our food. When I visited on a Friday night they had live music starting at about 8.

Yelp
My husband and I went out to dinner with another couple at open road in Reston last night. It's a huge place that took over where Balducci's used to be in RTC. The restaurant seems more refined in appearance than the other Open Road restaurants with the same good food, plus new menu items. Our server was attentive. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, so I would highly recommend getting reservations. We shared the wagyu meatball sliders and the pretzel. Both were quite good. Two of us ordered the southwest chicken salad, which was delicious and full of vegetables, including jicama, which adds a nice crunch paired with bites of creamy avocado. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the Peruvian chicken. Everyone left full and satisfied. Good drinks as well! Open Road is sure to be successful in this new location.

Yelp
Eh, not a place I would choose unless there's no better option. The food is enjoyable, but the service is hit or miss. I went with friends last Friday (group of 4, so not a big table) and we had a reservation. We showed up a couple minutes before the reservation started, and was told they were getting the table ready for us. We waited 15 minutes before asking the host what the wait was, and were told again they were waiting for our table. When it was ready and we received a text, we went back again to the host and they said it still wasn't ready. We saw groups leave constantly, but in total we waited 40 MINUTES despite arriving early for a reservation for a small party. If we knew we were going to wait that long, we would have gone someplace better. And then we ate with a loud, mediocre band playing next to us, and a poker game playing on the TV overhead. Not a place I'd recommend for everyone. You probably will be fine if you are big into a sports bar vibe, and don't care about service.
google avatar

Mary Margaret A.

Yelp
Okay this place is decent like the ambiance is good the layout is cool etc they have some good food some okay food. the waygu meatball sliders pictured are prob the best app/small plate. the birria quesadilla was pretty good like a 7/10 they are just super weird with seating and telling you when you have to be out by (??) we had a reservation and while being walked to our table they said "you just need to be out by 6:45 for another reservation" as we look around and there are tables empty everywhere.... like huh? anyways, i'd like to go again but only sit at the bar or in that bar area. enjoy my pics and have a nice day

Yelp
I frequented the merrifield location often when I worked close by but now that I don't work there anymore, I'm so happy to see them closer to me! This location is quite large with a stage and mini arcade area. We sat down and right away they gave us popcorn, which I really didn't care for, I felt like it was a little stale. I'd say that was the only thing that wasn't good. Otherwise, we started off with the brussels and calamari. I wish the brussels were more fried and crispy but they were still good with the bacon and blue cheese. The calamari was very good, light and crispy with the caper aioli. My favorite and something I'm still thinking of is the french onion burger. Just wow! Its juicy, flavorful, saucy and super onion-y. Definitely one of the top burgers I've had and I've eaten alot of burgers! My husband had the bacon blue burger and he said it was delicious, it wasn't overbearing with chunks of blue cheese (which personally I would have loved) but we both enjoyed it! Already cannot wait to come back to get the french onion burger!

Yelp
Came here Friday night with some friends and until the end, it was a very enjoyable experience. A great space, good vibes, great music, good appetizers. It wasn't until I received the bill that there was an issue. I was there with 4 of my friends and for about 3 hours. I personally was charged for TEN 6 oz glasses of wine (something I absolutely did not drink), my friend was charged for 9 miller lite tall boys (again, not possible in 3 hours) and another one of my friends had an extra drink charge thrown onto his tab. I am generally not a confrontational person, and definitely don't normally say things when drinking because you don't want to be considered the "drunk asshole", but when I received a $179 bill, I really wanted clarity. When I approached the bartender, his first response, in a very condescending tone was "well how many do you THINK you drank?". When I proceeded to say, "definitely not 10", his response was "Well you ordered with multiple bartenders so". Since when is ordering with different bartenders license to overcharge? It was really disappointing. I have been out with friends to many bars in the area, and had drunker nights and not a $200 bar tab (because I still tipped 20% even though I felt the bill was incredibly unfair). The only positive thing I can say is the hostess at the front did try to help when I complained on my way out, but at that point I just wanted to leave. Its a super big disappointment because I love the Mosaic location and had had an incredible night with friends until that put quite a damper on it. After looking online, it seems others have had issues with overcharging in order to rack up tips. I suggest as a new business you rethink that business method if you want people to come back.

Yelp
We checked out open road for dinner last night! They have complimentary popcorn to share with the table but we also got appetizers to share. The Nachos with the bbq chicken had so many flavors going on. From sweet to sour to spicy with those fresh jalapeños on top of it! By the time our entrees came around we all were already getting full! Those hickory smoked honey mustard wings are absolutely delicious! Can't wait to order more of those for football Sunday!! I highly recommend this place!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great place with great atmosphere. Service was good. Appetizers are very good. Our group had different drinks, vodka, mojitos and someone had their bourbon. Thursday night and a one man band played amazing songs. We will definitely come back!

Yelp
My meal here was good! I got the short rib and shared a few apps with my friends. Def would recommend the spicy apricot wings!!! The cocktails were a hit with the table. Worth giving it a shot and a good addition to Reston Town Center. Rumor has it there is a speakeasy downstairs you have to reserve ahead of time. Great spot for an evening date night or a girls dinner. Screens all over to catch up on the game! Service was prompt.
google avatar

Betsy S.

Yelp
A new bar in Reston! Great location, lots of space, an arcade area, and nice servers. Family friendly and plenty of screens to catch the games. Live music on the weekends, and plenty of options on the menu. We came for drinks and it was busy. We were lucky to get a piece of the corner so we can order drinks and jumped on the first table that became available. Fast service. Already have plans to go back.

Samantha P.

Yelp
The customer service was superb. We can I'm hungry and ready to have a drink. They had water on the table immediately and got us our drink orders. The food was delicious, we ordered to the veggie pizza and it hit the spot. The ambiance was great! They had live music playing while also your favorite sports.

Darcy W.

Yelp
Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta...this stuff is AMAZING I don't even like pesto much...this is literally delicious. They apparently make the pesto fresh every day. You should try this... We literally ordered it for an appetizer then I ate some of the pizza which was also very good and I ordered another bruschetta because I kept thinking how good it was.!! Nachos were yummy and meat pizza great also SUPER friendly and the managers were all great as well as the staff. I was even a pain and asked to be moved away from a bunch of children (we were on a date without ours...) and then when the bruschetta came out and it had balsamic on it (which I don't like) so they remade it ...super accommodating ...super friendly, and the food is amazing.

Yelp
Food is meh. Service is poor. It stays in business largely because of the constant flow of people from the town center who have never eaten there before and never will again.

Yelp
Went to Open Road thinking a distillery must have a relatively adult atmosphere. Left there, however, feeling like I had lunch at Chuck E. Cheese. Way too many kids on the loose. Literally running around the restaurant and bar area. There is even an arcade inside to entertain the kids -- right next to the bar! Didn't expect a distillery, especially at those prices, to cater to 5-year-olds. I do not recommend this place to anyone during daytime hours looking for an adult-like environment to have relaxing drink or meal. On the other hand, if you're a relatively well-off family with "energetic" children, you'll probably love this place.

Yelp
The food is decent but the service was poor. We had to ask to place our order after we'd been sitting a half hour with drinks and popcorn.Utensils had to be requested when soup was ordered--no spoon was brought until we flagged down the waiter. We were here almost an hour before our dinner was served.

Yelp
Definitely try this place! The atmosphere and vibe are fantastic! Great music tonight too. We started with the meatball sliders that were absolutely amazing as well as the chicken bites that put Chick-fil-A to shame. Everyone enjoyed their entrees that ranged from fajitas, short ribs, steak frites to sandwiches. If you can squeeze it in, the speak easy in the back ( Heirloom ) has amazing cocktails! Can't wait to go back to dine there

Yelp
Open road has set a record tonight. History has been made. This building will forever have its spot in a little squishy wrinkle of my simple yet troubled mind. Yes, today will be remembered. It will be remembered as the first time I've ever sent a drink back. I know, I'm ashamed, I typically don't like to make a fuss when dining out, but let me plead my case. It is less than a week from National Shirley Temple day (March 6) so I decided to enjoy a Shirley Temple with my brother who has just returned from college (he was one of the founders of this Yelp account, and is a fellow Shirley Temple fan). At this point, I'm fully aware of the dire state of the Shirley Temple, and the dying concept of a restaurant in general, so I was going into this situation with a healthy dose of doubt. However, I felt the slightest flicker of faith when the waitress very confidently confirmed that they do indeed have a Shirley Temple. Long story short, what she brings out is NOT a Shirley Temple (see attached photo). Forget the lack of cherry, which as many of you all know by now, immediately disqualifies a beverage from Shirley Temple status. I have never seen such an awful sprite to grenadine ratio! How does one create a brown drink out of red dye and sprite? This has two little drops of 7 year old grenadine MAX. They just straight up changed my order and gave me poop colored sprite. So yeah, I asked for a root beer instead. I'm not wasting over $3 on a disheveled sickly shell of a Shirley Temple. How is a real restaurant about to dedicate a whole side of a menu to alcoholic beverages including elaborate cocktails whilst defecating on one of the most classic nonalcoholic beverages? This is skipping the basics. The fundamentals. Absolute disgrace. Bruce Lee once said it's better to practice one kick a thousand times than practice a thousand kicks one time. I want all these restaurant wannabes to let that sink in. 0 stars for the Shirley Temple service, however, +5 for the live music and root beer.

Yelp
Wonderful and classy sports bar located in Reston Town Center. Food is delicious! They have the sweetest bartender, Helena. She always makes me at home. All of the staff are amazing.

Yelp
I'm only giving this place 2 stars because I feel bad for them, however the service was not great. I gave this place a try twice, and both time were not great. My first visit I ordered the chicken sandwich (which the chicken was super hard and difficult to eat), the fries were also super hard, which were probably fried for way too long. We also ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the chicken was also super hard and dry. We came back a second time to give the place a second try, which wasn't any better. The mozzarella pizza came out cold and the mozzarella wasn't melted on the pizza properly. The beef nacho chips were stale. The hot wings were super crispy and also not great. I don't think I'll be giving this place a third try.

Yelp
PSA - don't believe sign in front window. Total false advertising- bartenders say happy hour only till 6 not 7 as advertised in front window, mgr acts surprised this is the sign on front window.

Yelp
The food was good but the wait was frustrating. They said no tables but there were plenty. Got a manager who helped and got us a table right away. The empty tables filled up as we were leaving. The staff needs to learn table management.

Yelp
Service was good, food was good. The shrimp salad left a little to want - dressing was pretty bland but they're new and working things out. Wings were incredible, kids pizza was awesome (plates would've been great instead of a very hot pizza round for my toddler, and my husbands salad was incredible. Will definitely be back.
