Opera 02 Cà Montanari

We always love sleeping near the Acetaia where you can see and smell the amazing balsamic vinegar aging. The beauty of this resort is having everything within arm’s reach… a panoramic terrace, large outdoor swimming pool and relaxing spa, incredible restaurant setting with local food and wine. We tried the new Metodo Classico this time, and it was super refreshing and delicious!

We are staying here on a recommendation. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We did the balsamic and wine tasting upon arrival. I knew nothing about balsamic production, but gained a wealth of knowledge in the tasting and tour. We had lunch first including Lambrusco, risotto with prawns, tortilinis, and vanilla icecream with balsamic on top over a bit of crumple. We spent the afternoon at the infinity pool and had it nearly to ourselves. We had Spritz Emillianos which is Aperol and Lambrusco over ice in a large goblet glass. Very tasty and good for the pool day drinking. We look forward to dinner tonight.|The rooms were clean and the A/C worked great. Each room has a private patio with chairs and loungers. The infinity pool was large and we had it mostly to ourselves. Beautiful hillsides.

Our stay was very good. Just outside Modena, this place offers a quite place to relax and enjoy the countryside. You can grab a mountainbike to enjoy the hills, which we did. ||In summary: very good food, fantastic view, and large rooms. Our stay was incredible!

It is a stunning property on a hill in remote farmland. It's designed by people who love what they do. There are just a few great suites available and they are all within the wine barrel and vinegar distillery area. And, the restaurant is unbelievably great. The only problem we had was that is was raining the whole time we were there. Otherwise, we would have swum at the pool and sat on the back deck looking at the picturesque countryside. It's close enough to Modena and several stunning villages to make it a great getaway from the typical tourist spots. And, they had an electric car charger for free.

Amazing property, great view! Rooms are a little bit obsolete though. My perfume stolen from the room over a 2 night stay.

Fantastic place! the staff are wonderful, breakfast and dinner were exceptional! One of my favorite places to stay.

Great restaurant, fantastic view and nice pool. However the rooms and resort definitely need a maintenance update. Rooms are not 100% clean and need to be updated and maintained in order to ask upto 300 euro for a nights stay.||Room ‘Miele’ was not good and the staff helped us to switch to room ‘Saba’ after the first night, but this was still outdated.||Therefore we decided to leave one day earlier as planned, without a refund or any other gesture.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Opera 02. Upon arriving we were greeted by a few farm animals near the car park, and entering the building there was a fantastic aroma of balsamic. The decor and atmosphere were well done and we could see the tasting room? Keg room? On the way to our room. The room itself was also great, with a view and balcony looking out right over the vineyard, and it came with a robe for each of us. There was also a nice pool and patio area, and a wonderful restaurant.
