It might not be the prettiest plate in the room, but wow- it knew how to impress.
The chicken thigh came in looking a little chaotic, but every bite made sense. The Belgian endive brought that satisfying crunch and just the right bitterness to cut through the creamy black garlic ranch. Add some vibrant veggies and a zesty squeeze of lemon, and suddenly, it’s a masterpiece.
Now for the wildcard: miso-butterscotch.
Sounds like a science experiment your friend dared you to try- but turns out, it’s delicious. Creamy, rich, with that savoury-sweet balance and a hint of musk that somehow just works. Still vibing with the flavour long after the last sip.
Would I go back? Without a doubt.
Only gripe? The price. It stings a bit with the weekend surcharge, but hey- it’s Melbourne, and this one was worth it.
