We love Ophelia’s so much. It’s one of our favorite places. The atmosphere is just absolutely adorable. The servers and workers are amazing. Genuinely kind human beings. The food is good quality. Just make sure to make your reservations ahead! They book up and it’s no surprise why! I have been so many times I can not longer count, and I have never had a bad experience ❤️

Google
Super cute little place!! It’s very small and a little bit cramped inside, but we were out on the patio which was super nice (except the bees but that’s just nature for ya). Will definitely make a reservation next time I go, especially if it’s on a weekend. The drinks were great, I loved my Bloody Mary!! Food was decent but not as great as I would expect for the price.

Google
Wow. This place was Amazing. We were traveling back to Minnesota and made a stop in Fort Wayne for multiple reasons. But we needed coffee the next morning! So many places were closed due to the winter storm. We searched things up and it looked cute. We discussed on the way over that it was probably closed and not to get our hopes up. But we went over and sure enough, they were open! It was a sit down restaurant and we were just trying to grab coffee, but the people there were so kind and the items on the menu looked too amazing to pass by… thank God we stayed and had breakfast.. our server was wonderful and so kind. Someone else walked by and asked if she could take our picture for us. What! Yes! 🤭❤️ the food was so wonderful and so fun. We definitely want to make a trip back to Fort Wayne to experience it again and try more things.

Google
Such a cute place for brunch! My wife and I stopped in for our anniversary and it was a super pleasant experience. Great drinks, great food, amazing service. Highly recommend!!

Google
Such a cute ambience. I had a strawberry lemon Drop martini. And the food was so delicious I shared steak taquitos, which was so mouthwatering And had French toast Nutella so delicious as well

Google
Atmosphere was great! Celebrated husband's and his best friends birthday. Mimosa flights were wonderful and the flavors fabulous. The food, my husband has a new favorite, steak Benedict!!! The staff are very friendly. This a must try!

Google
My wife and I had an amazing experience. Laid back atmosphere and friendly service. Smaller inside with 2 levels but large outdoor patio for those nice sunny days. The burger and homemade tots were absolutely amazing. Good coffee drinks too. Be prepared to be there for a moment as they take their time to make sure the food and drinks you order are spot on.

Google
What a wonderful treat in the outskirts of downtown Fort Wayne. With a name like Ophelia's I knew it would be someplace very quaint and I was absolutely right. The food is delicate yet hardy and delicious. The coffees are very strong but not overpowering. I wanted to try every single item on the menu but I went with the stereotypical avocado toast and it was very very special. I will be back.

Yelp
Ophelia's is the most wonderful little gem on Wells Street in downtown Fort Wayne! Located in a charming old house, it is cozy and bright, with a fantastic patio to enjoy in the warmer months. A great spot for breakfast -- I highly recommend The Standard with bacon, the breakfast burrito (amazing with the green sauce, some pico and a little side of sour cream!), and the biscuits, which are out of this world. The burger and salads are delicious! And the mimosa flight is too notch! I went for lunch today and my friend and I decided to go back next week!!

Yelp
I'm a bit conflicted on my review here as I wanted to rate it higher on the establishment however it is the food that brought down the score. Ultimately that is why I choose a restaurant is for food quality first in my opinion. Reservations are recommended but we got in immediately for a Sunday Brunch at 9:15 AM. Seating was on the patio which is inviting and has a good number of tables with shade. The ambience is amazing. All staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Having said all of this, the taste of my dish was nowhere as pleasing in flavor as compared to the beautiful presentation of the dish. I ordered the Steak Benedict but didn't read the menu as close as I should have. The steak is served on top of Tater Cakes. While flavorful, they detract from the plate as they were heavy and oily. The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered but the Espresso Rub was not evident in flavor. In fact the steak had no distinctive seasoning at all. Poached eggs were brilliant. Super disappointing was the Jalapeño Hollandaise. No jalapeño flavor was present. The sauce looks nothing like the image on the website and the consistency was poor (thick like mayonnaise). Looking closely, you can tell that the sauce was dispensed from a squirt bottle and not from a ladle, hence showing how off it is from traditional Hollandaise consistency. I didn't taste any butter, lemon juice, nor any seasonings. I would have preferred an English muffin but they don't have any on the menu. Second dish ordered was The Standard breakfast plate (not pictured) with scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, fruit cup and CRISPY bacon. Presentation was excellent however to ensure the bacon was crisp it was placed in deep fat fryer. This is not acceptable. Garnish on both plates was excellent. Speed of service was nice and relaxed. Prices are published, but with water and a Americano coffee the bill with tax was $46.34 Don't pay attention to the smear on the plate, that was me too eager to taste the dish before I remembered to take the photo. **Exceptional touch was the steak tidbit presentation in front of the full item showing how the steak temperature is under the poached eggs!

Yelp
I was visiting friends and we went here on my last day. It's a cute and cozy little place. The stairs are only slightly terrifying and steep looking. The menu is okay, they don't have many good drink options if you don't want alcohol or coffee. The orange juice isn't fresh squeezed and they don't have plain brewed black iced tea. Our server seemed rude and stand offish. I got the standard breakfast with a biscuit instead of toast and with sausage. The sausage is very strange looking but tastes ok, they're not consistent though. Some are thicker than others and some are thin. The biscuit was yummy and the strawberry jam was good and tasted fresh. The little potato hash brown balls were decent. They had a weird plastic like aftertaste. It's definitely just a basic meal. My friend got the breakfast burrito and he enjoyed it and liked the sauce. Only think he said is that the ingredients weren't evenly distributed throughout the burrito. If you want to try it, try it. I personally like breakfast/brunch with more options and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Everything looked amazing. The coffee drinks were inspired and yummy. The space was cute and comfortable. Highly recommend

Yelp
So good! The biscuit and flora latte are the best. The vibe is very intimate, a great patio in the summer.

Sidney J.

Yelp
The drink and food selection was amazing! My husband and I were (as always,) so pleased with our choices. Everything was delicious and the service was great! We also enjoyed the beautiful cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Whitney and Casey were awesome lots of good suggestions . The vibe here is very cool it's in an old house we sat on the patio on a sunny day . The ingredients were local and fresh great quality . Drip coffee is strong and delicious . My buddy said the kolsch beer was excellent .

Yelp
We have never given Ophelia a try at dinner and we were able to experience it this past weekend. Reservations were not difficult, but you had to make sure you made them ahead of time online. If you have mobility issues, make sure to specify that you want to sit on the ground floor as there is no way to get upstairs easily. our server was friendly, but unfortunately was clearly short staffed. She was running around clearing tables and the entire restaurant only seem to have two waitress for a Saturday night. Luckily, we came early and got our order in. It took a while for the kitchen to prepare the food close to 45 minutes. Our dinner was the Savor Fort Wayne menu which was an amazing price point. For $55 we were able to get a three course meal for two. We started off with the salad and biscuits. The salad was fresh and the honey butter for the biscuit was scrumptious. Our main course was the ribeye steak with compound butter. It was cooked well however the fat could've been rendered a little bit better. The dessert was the fried donuts. I don't know if it's the cinnamon, but the donuts were a bit overdone. They were still tasty however could've been taken out of the fryer a little bit sooner. Overall, it was a great dinner experience minus the wait time. If you've never given them a try for dinner you should try their menu. The only recommendation is come early. There were a lot of tables that were waiting for quite a while for the kitchen to prepare the food as we were leaving.

Yelp
Always a great spot for breakfast. The menu has a decent variety with some great highlights. Plenty of options for espresso beverages and cocktails, which definitely adds to the experience. Add in the fact that the building is charming with excellent decor, and you'll have a good brunch experience.

Mark C.

Yelp
First time visit. Ambiance was quaint, an old house from the early 1900's. Service was good and attentive. I guess we should have ordered a breakfast but, my wife and I chose lunch. She the BLT me Steak sandwich. The bread was soaked in grease (butter) on both, over bearing the taste, dripping grease. Steak was cut up and chewy. I had some serious heart burn and upset stomach an hour later. Other good reviews cover breakfast, stick to that option.

Yelp
SO good. One of the best iced matchas I've ever had, the avocado toast was just as good. My sisters all got drinks and meals as well enjoyed it just as much.

Laura B.

Yelp
We went here for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated quickly. The good - the food was good, quickly served and the prices, while not cheap, are fair. The bad- the tables are very close together, eg a foot between us and the next table, and it was very noisy - not to the extent you couldn't talk but not relaxing either. The wait staff service was mixed. We started out with a good server but then someone else took over at the end and was very brusque. We had a strange experience - a glass shattered, explisively, and glass flew over a barrier next to our table with pieces hitting my husband in the head and landing all over the table and our food. We decided we could not really finish our food not knowing if/how much glass was in it. They offered to bring us new entrees but we declined. They then offered 'can we at least provide you with dessert?' We said sure and chose a dessert to share. Much to our surprise, we were charged full price for our meals AND the dessert which we had assumed would be gratis. We just paid and left. Also, the sidewalk to the restaurant is cracked/broken and uneven. I stepped on an unseen uneven portion which caused me to step forward hard on my other foot on the broken portion resulting in a mild sprain. All in all, I doubt we will be going back.

Yelp
This place has a lovely atmosphere very girlie delicacy vibes. It's two stories and does have parking right behind but very limited parking spaces. I would have given 5 stars if only they had more vegan options. I had opt out the egg that came with the toast and was still charge the same price. Nonetheless, definitely worth a visit for sure! Beautiful ambiance.

Alaina T.

Yelp
Everything this evening was wonderful! We participated in the Savor Fort Wayne promo and I am glad we did! We got a hummingbird cocktail and a key lime martini! Both were fabulous and full of flavor. The homemade biscuits were AMAZING! I would come back just for those. The salads were the perfect size and had an amazing vinaigrette dressing. The filet was perfectly cooked and paired with great sides. The donut holes were DELICIOUS! Homemade dough and cream cheese along with some fresh whipped cream. They were dangerously good. The blueberry shortcake was also very delicious! Made with their homemade biscuits it was a wonderful combo! Their compote is seasonal so it was blueberry or cinnamon apple. I would love to try a strawberry version! We had a great time. The atmosphere was perfect and relaxing with a great ambiance. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our server also had great recommendations. This will probably become one of our go to restaurants. Thanks for the great experience and we can't wait to come back! :)

Yelp
Food was amazing, especially the Tots. Service was prompt, courteous, and fantastic! Ambiance was wonderful!

Yelp
Ophelia's is a unique lunch/dinning experience that you should try if you have not. O's is set on historic Wells Street. It is located in an old house that has a lot of character. The restaurant inside is very small. Hence the need for reservations. They do have an outdoor seating area that looks very attractive. The inside seating is comfortable. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful with the menu. We started with the Cauliflower Cheesy Bread. This was very creamy, smooth with a very mild cauliflower & cheese taste. The bread pieces were nicely toasted and soft. My wife enjoyed her crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was nicely breaded and moist. My mother really liked the chicken salad. As a guy...Ophelia's does have a flare that appeals to mom's and wives. This makes a great dinning choice if you want a relaxing time of conversation with someone special. I had the steak sandwich. It was piled high with steak pieces. They were cooked perfectly to my medium rare choice. The meet had a slight seasoning flavor but not as much as I would have expected. The meat strips were a bit difficult to chew apart..hence the pieces tend to fall out of the sandwich. The bread was soft and nicely toasted. Overall I recommend you give Ophelia's a try. This makes a great place to take mom or a wife for a great meal and wonderful relaxing conversation.

James I.

Yelp
We had dinner tonight at Ophelia's and we were quite impressed. The decor was beautiful and menu creative. We enjoyed an iced campfire Smores Latte, an Old Fashioned, and two steaks. Prior to the main course, light fluffy biscuits with honey butter were a great surprise. My wife's beef tenderloin and my Ribeye were perfectly cooked. Service was quick, courteous, and all the staff were delightful. We will definitely be back to try many other menu items.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday with no reservations, but seated right away. The homemade biscuits were HUGE and delicious- I'll return for those alone. The steak benedict was equally yummy and I also enjoyed the latte and cocktails. The only potentially annoying thing is parking- I had to circle once but eventually found a street space on Wells- but that definitely won't stop me from returning and trying more from the menu or stopping in to try dinner! Very cute space and friendly staff, too.

Tia R.

Yelp
Great food and service. I love all of the homemade sauces. Delicious coffees and drinks, too.
google avatar

Debby W.

Yelp
The food and drinks were delicious! The special coffees were not too sweet and so good. The homemade tots are amazing! The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
I love this place! Parking can be a little weird so I'd recommend finding a spot on wells before driving past here. Food is great! Drinks are delicious and service is a little wonky sometimes, but overall a wonderful experience. Outdoor seating is very calm and relaxing! The house made tots are to die for and I'm a huge fan of the 5th and Wells Chicken Sandwich. We got the burnt honey and rosemary cappuccino (amazing) and the s'mores iced latte (even more amazing) and then we ordered the mini sweet potato pancakes which is a must! I got the steak sandwich and my mom got the chicken sandwich-- soo good! My only critique is the service, which sometimes takes awhile to get silverware or drinks refilled but that's a small teeny critique. Definitely make a reservation before coming so you can get good seats, and I'd recommend the patio too! It's quieter and more open.
google avatar

Jacqueline O.

Yelp
Great brunch spot! Loved what I ordered and will definitely be back again. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Only complaint was parking was a bit hectic but nothing they could do, just based on location. Had to drive around a bit to try and find a spot.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
This place is very cute and quaint from the outside but rather hot, stuffy, and crowded on the inside. (It's an old house) Finding a place to park can be difficult. With that not being a huge deal, I had high hopes that the food would be outstanding, especially for the price, but it was disappointing. I had the steak Benedict. The presentation was wonderfully fancy but the entire entree lacked flavor and the steak was extremely tough. So tough that I couldn't even finish my meal. I also had a chai latte which I was told was a vanilla chai not a spiced chai, but it was definitely spiced, which I do not like. And it was barely warm. Another issue was that all the entrees came out at different times (6 of us) which was just awkward, and drinks took a long time to come out. I'm not sure if I'll go back.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Cute little spot downtown FW. Have been for breakfast and lunch, both delicious. Tator tots are unique, would give them a try. Coffee is good too. The sourdough bread is the perfect choice for the steak sandwich. Gravy on the biscuits could be eaten just with a spoon. Service was speedy and everyone friendly.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
The cute decor, fun cocktails, and large patio make this the perfect spot for brunch or lunch with friends! We started off with the jalapeño mango margarita and mezcal rosemary fizz. Both were delicious and not too sweet, which I appreciated. As for food, we ordered the avocado toast, the grain bowl, and the sausage Benedict. The sauce that comes with the grain bowl is addictive, but it was mainly rice and could've used more veggies in my opinion. I heard the Benedict was amazing and the tots that came with it were incredible!
google avatar

Keto K.

Yelp
Barely any parking and hard to find. It's literally a house, and Ophelia's sign is medium-sized and hard to see. The front lady was acting like we were stupid for not knowing to make reservations on a Friday morning. Even though we walked in there and it was empty at first. Big guy with a beard who works there was walking around all cocky with a mean look on his face for some reason. Never smiled one time. Very little seating, but I believe they have upstairs, and they do have lots of patio seating. Other than that, the food was very authentic and delicious! It was my first time having egg Benedict, and it was amazing! I appreciate making a house into a restaurant! Overall, Ophelia's was an amazing, unique experience!
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
So incredibly disappointing. Made reservations (don't even try going without them.) We were seated on the second floor, smashed into a corner booth 3" from the table next to us. It was so loud, my husband and I literally could not hear each other across the tiny table. (So I guess this would be a great place to take a meddling friend or family member you don't really want to talk to.) We thought, we can muddle through this. Waitress came and asked for our drink order. Brunch on Sunday and they're out of cold brew. At a "coffee house." What now? We looked at each other and left. Only one other time in my life have I left a place before even ordering. Save yourself the hassle.
google avatar

Elah N.

Yelp
A great breakfast place that has great atmosphere and delicious foods. The staff was super friendly and catered to all of our needs and orders. My family and I recommend this place!
google avatar

Noah D.

Yelp
The food was nice and savory. The service was impeccable and the ambiance and atmosphere was absolutely superb! Great brunch date for sure! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Sierra J.

Yelp
The perfect brunch spot, truly! We visited here while in town for the weekend and loved the food, drinks, and overall charm. They had a fantastic menu of fall themed items and were even able to make me a pumpkin spice espresso martini when it wasn't even on the menu using their pumpkin syrup, and it was delicious. Highly recommend for a cute brunch spot in the areas.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Food, Service and Ambiance were all incredible! The menu (while somewhat limited but some standards) did NOT disappoint in the lightest! The food was absolutely amazing, and I cannot wait to go there again!

Anthony T.

Yelp
Great pancakes and service Coffee is good too Outdoor patio is nice Would come again

Yelp
Giving it three stars for now. It was our first time. We just need to try something different. My wife had the grilled cheese. It was sour tasting. We did not like the cheese they used for it. I had the burger. Is was ok. We both had and did not like their tater tots. We did not like their home made squishy center with horseradish in the mix it. I would have rather had normal store bought tots. They do offer fruit as a side. We will try that next time with different entrees. Also the drip coffee was not good. If they are offering a local roaster like Yellow Cup coffee then they are making it wrong. Dunkin' has way better drip coffee.
google avatar

Bill H.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for some time - Finally made it in! The food is amazing! Service was wonder! I will definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Dominica D.

Yelp
Ophelia's is inside an older home and has been beautifully done. There is limited seating so you have to have a reservation. They will NOT seat you unless you have a reservation, especially with brunch. If they do it's your lucky day The service was incredible; waters were kept filled, food was brought out in a timely manner and we were checked on by different staff members. The cinnamon oat milk latte I got was delicious. It was stronger and not super sweet. Tasted more like an americano to me even though it was a latte. I got the "Migas" and it was tasty! The eggs were not over cooked and had good flavor with the tomatoes and peppers in them! I added bacon which was $4 extra for two slices of bacon. The green sauce it came with tasted great when I wrapped up my eggs, bacon, beans and tortilla strips all in a flour tortilla. Overall, I gave it 4/5 stars because it is so hyped for not being astounding. The food and coffee were great but it didn't blow me away. I definitely would come again though and hope next time blows me away ! I'm

Yelp
I love the quaint ambiance here! The food and service were good! I would love to go back and try some other menu items

Yelp
Great food, excellent service, phenomenal drinks! I tried French toast which was amazing. Key lime martini, blackberry mimosa and a brown sugar Carmely latte. Cute, quiet, and fast. Perfect for a brunch with friends

Yelp
Loved this place! Food was excellent...especially loved the house made tots. So many good, unique choices it was hard to decide what to order. It's housed in an old building that has so much charm. We sat in the outdoor space...such a charming atmosphere out there. Loved that they were also dog friendly so our dog got to hang with us while we ate. We will definitely be back the next time we visit our daughter at PFW!

Ekul N.

Yelp
Top notch food in a quaint house converted to a cafe. I don't know if that is the right way to put it, but the right way to put those homemade tater tots is in my freaking mouth right now. Good enough to write sonatas about. Maybe a haiku. Server was very good and explained everything well. Undersold the tots though, and she raved about them.

Amanda S.

Yelp
This is my absolute FAVORITE place to brunch at! The food is incredible, the service is great and the esthetic is unmatched.

Josh F.

Yelp
Great food, service and atmosphere.. my wife and I had the sweet potato pancakes, Hoosier tots and biscuits.
google avatar

Sheri B.

Yelp
Inflation tax? Hmmm...Food/service/ambience was great... just increase your prices a smidge....I didn't like seeing that on my bill
google avatar

Julia H.

Yelp
Ophelia's never disappoints!!! Amazing food, clean & cute atmosphere, servers here are great and we never wait long for our food!! My go to meal choice for brunch is the French toast, which is topped with blueberries and a special cream cheese. I add bacon to my order, so crispy & delicious! The breakfast Benedict comes with so many yummy toppings, including steak, runny eggs & tater cakes (tater tot patties with cheese & lots of other flavors mixed in). I always call ahead for a reservation, as seating can be limited. Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Marilyn N.

Yelp
Outstanding, quaint, and unbelievably amazing food!!! Great customer service, mimosas, and highly recommended!!

Yelp
First time at this place and I'm amazed! Nice interior, delicious food and very good coffee. The only issues was smoke from the kitchen! Anyway, I'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Lan P.

Yelp
Service was fabulous, atmosphere-amazing, inviting. The food was good, not wow- like I expected from all of my friends's ravings. The coffees were also meh, but I enjoyed my experience there overall.
google avatar

Beth W.

Yelp
Met a friend for lunch here today. Not our first time - everything was delicious! Started with the Cheesy Curried Cauliflower Dip - which did not take the 15 minutes the menu suggested. Oh my goodness - it was wonderful! My friend ordered Lady O's Grilled Cheese with tots - and loved it. I chose the 5th & Wells Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fresh fruit - and it delivered all the wonderful tastes I expected based on the menu. We both enjoyed a coffee drink, served in lovely cups and saucers with artwork I forgot to photograph in the milk. Cassandra was our server - she couldn't have been nicer or more informed on any questions we had. If you haven't tried Ophelia's yet- you're missing out!!
google avatar

Kayla H.

Yelp
Everything on their menu is amazing! Not to mention their coffees are perfectly curated and so well done. Not too sweet. Their staff is always extremely friendly and willing to accommodate all sorts of dietary restrictions. Possibly one of the best restaurants in Fort Wayne. Definitely a must for locals or people traveling from out of town. Their cute decor and cozy atmosphere doesn't hurt either.
