Oh, oh, Ophelia's on the Bay!!! Please darken her door! What a great meal in a beautiful Bayside setting! Outdoor dining at it's finest! Located on beautiful Seista Key, Ophelia's menu has something for everyone! The food is artfully crafted and served with pride by the attentive staff. A big shout-out to our server, Zoli for attending to our every need! Thank you, Zoli! Oysters Rockefeller, lobster bisque... off the chart good! Blue fin tuna was perfectly braised and the scallops were succulent. You'll drop some coin at Ophelia's but it will be worth every dollar! Go there now!

Ophelia’s offers beautiful waterfront dining views in the area. It’s definitely a perfect spot for a sunset dinner or a special occasion. The service was outstanding—attentive, professional, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our server made great recommendations and checked in at all the right times. As for the food, it was a little too salty for my taste. I’d still recommend Ophelia’s for the view and the fantastic service. It’s a beautiful spot to unwind with a glass of wine and soak in the atmosphere.

Went there last night for the first time. We made reservations and did not have to wait for a table. This was seriously the best food I've ever had in my life. Not even exaggerating. Our waiter Scott was very helpful and had great recommendations and everything he recommended was phenomenal and on point. Great service! We tried the calamari for starters. I had Scallops and my boyfriend had the New York strip. For dessert, we had to try the cheesecake of course. I cannot wait to return and try everything on the menu. The Valet guy was super nice too! 5 stars all the way!!!

Yesterday I went to the restaurant and lived a unique experience, the food very tasty and above all I want to highlight the attention of my waiter "Scott". He is so dedicated in his work and the attention he gave me and my family was the best. He is very attentive. Thank you very much for everything. I'll definitely be back

One of the greatest meals I've been had - on all fronts! This place is BEAUTIFUL, it proves that gorgeous views don't have to be from high up. And the scenery and overall surrounding area is so calm and intimate. Super romantic spot at night, food of extravagant quality and the server is outstanding. Your next date night, celebration, or need for a nice night out - this is the place! Ask for Chris as your server you will absolutely not regret it! See the photos, we caught a lighting storm in the distance on our night and it was gorgeous to watch!

We went last night for our anniversary and the corner table inside looking at the bay were so peaceful and beautiful. Our Waiter Scott was excellent! He offered help with answers and offered his opinion when we pushed for favorites. All of his suggestions were spot on! I started with a Bees knees and my husband got a banana inspired version of an old fashioned. For ap, he got an amazing baby green salad. The difference in tastes and textures really elevated the salad to the next level. I got the eggplant crepe. Scott told us the chef has had this recipes since the 1980s. It’s easy to see why! I included a pic- and trust me if you like eggplant - You will love it - totally magical. For dinner we got the snapper and surf and turf. The lobster scampi was out of this world, but every part of each of the dishes - it was absolutely perfectly prepared and presented. Scott was so kind a bringing over champagne for an anniversary celebration, and we finished with a scoop of raspberry sorbet. It was so delicious and paired well with. the champagne. our only heads up, this is a high end restaurant, but its in a vacation town, so screaming children are allowed. 2 tables over they were passi h around maybe a 4-5 year old- making loud noises to keep the kid entertained. About 1/3 thru dinner a family with 2 children appearing 8-10 were speaking like they were in A gymnasium. i heard no adult ask them to use an inside voice etc. None of this is the restaurants fault, they don't have a children's menu. I only mention it for others wanted to celebrate in this charming, romantic delicious restaurant that they are given a heads up- children will be there and most likely pretty loud. The valet was in a league all his own in professionalism, skill and kindness. He opened the restaurant door for us, and when we left the staff gave him the heads up we will be exiting and our car was ready .

This place was worth every penny! Everything we ate was made with love! Jorge was awesome and took great care of us. Definitely going back!! Somebody kiss the chef!

I can't say enough great things about this place. From the food, the service and the ambiance. While I wish we could go more often, the pricing is such that we would only go for special occasions.

The service was absolutely awesome! Chris was our waiter. He went through the menu with us since this was our 1st visit. His recommendations were spot on! The food was excellent! Two of us got shrimp scampi, one got paella and one got one of the many fish dishes. Each dish was absolutely bursting with flavor! The view was spectacular!!!! As the sun set, it cast an orange glow over the water. Boat and bird watching was fun! Perfect evening all around!!!

We've been coming to Ophelia's on the Bay for over 30 years. We've gone through a few changes of ownership but we've never had less than a superb experience. We were there again last night and, again, the food and the service was exceptional. However, we probably won't come back. We were put at a dwarf table with barely enough room for the bread tray. We had one glass of wine for me since my wife doesn't drink, the eggplant appetizer which we split between us, a steak and the duck. No desert. Delicious, and our waitress, Danielle, was charming. But than the bill came. Over $200 including tip. Two people, one glass of wine, no desert. Of course you have to pay for good food and service, but the last time we came here a few months ago the prices were considerably less. It's a shame. We're going to miss Ophelia's.

Found Ophelia's when we were in the area and what a gem. Got there after sunset but looks like beautiful deck on the water. We had no reservation so dined inside. Server was amazing, gave us recommendations and all were on the mark. Was sad to hear they closed for 5 or 6 weeks so the staff was out of work. Food was outstanding. Chef owned place which is cool. Highly recommend!

This place is breathtaking. Be warned, it doesn't look like much when you pull up to the parking lot in front....but wow. It's amazing and stunning views, service, food, ambience....the WORKS. The valet is a third party so no comp but only tip based. We walked in after making reservations. They are strict on these and called an hour before to confirm. They were flexible about the indoor versus outdoor with the weather we were having being a little unpredictable. They moved us once when we wanted to be closer to the view...and trust me it's THE view. Dolphins are a nice touch!!!! We started with drinks, the Sarasota lunch was strong but tasty. The wine was delicious (u can order a bottle and they will let u take whatever you don't finish home) and the spicy Bloody Mary was pretty spicy!! Just how I like it. The complimentary bread and butter was seriously so good. Tried to not spoil my meal by getting more!!!! No appetizers for us. We wanted the real deal! The entrees were tough to chose from...SO many fancy and intricate items. Heather, our server went above and beyond and gave us great recommendations and really knew about wine pairings and the ingredients. She mentioned the meals are made to order and all items local and caught in the morning! We opted for the grouper which was local, the lamb, and the lobster with risotto. We all agreed the risotto was to DIE for...never thought risotto with feta would work but it was delicious and not overbearing. Good acidity and cook on the grains. The second fav was the lamb. The cook was perfection, medium and tender! The reduction to pour on top was also great. There was an issue at the table next to us and someone got sick and threw up unexpectedly. They tried so hard to keep us happy and offered to move us and all they could! Service was beyond! Ultimately, they gave us a free dessert and we were the happiest clients! The crème brûlée with pumpkin spice notes made the night! We ordered some espresso and Earl grey tea to compliment. This experience was 11/10. For 3, all I mentioned (dessert was free) $300 seemed reasonable for a full entree and drink. HIGHLY recommend this place. Heather is a treasure. We will never forget this experience!!!

Pretty good food. No complaints, there! Service was a bit pushy of high priced items and someone came by with a broom before we'd even left the table, so there's room to improve in hospitality, but overall we enjoyed the experience. Beautiful setting. Next time I'd go during the day or at sunset to take advantage of it.

What a beautiful place for a romantic dinner on the water. Highly recommend making a reservation for outside on the bay. The view is beautiful!! We had the cutest table outside in the corner and it was a perfectly romantic view. We came for my birthday and noted it on the reservation but the hostess and the server didn't say anything and weren't aware. The menu was interesting. The calamari was delicious. Perfectly crisp. They drizzled a lemon aioli on top but refused to put it on the side. Which I thought was weird. My husband doesn't like aioli so he couldn't eat it. I ordered the seabass and my husband ordered the Jambalaya. Both dishes were plated beautifully. The Seabass dish was a bit too fishy for me. Lots of weird flavors together. I didn't like the olives in it or the chewy dry lobster. The prosciutto wrapped around the seabass was nice and crispy and helped making the fish bareable. The Jambalaya was good other than the duck. Not a fan of duck but the tiger shrimp were big and flavorful. No birthday dessert was offered but once she found out it was my birthday she did bring me a ginger ale toast. I think our server could have been a bit happier with better customer service. She appeared annoyed every time we asked her a question and I even witnessed her get in a fight with the table next to us. For $50/$60 a plate I expected better. Much better.

Old American classic by the water in Siesta Key. Pros - great location and ambiance by the water. Top notch service. Dishes were well prepped in the standard American fashion. Cons - food was good, but generic and nothing extraordinary. Reminds me of Capitol Grill. Very pricey with entrees above $60. Valet is mandatory. Old-school restaurant. Good place for classic American favorites.

The service, the view, the food - it was all fantastic. This is one of the tastier waterfront restaurants I have been too. Everything was very fresh and I had no complaints!

Overpriced for something that isn't fine dining. Oysters were smothered in spinach and some sauce. Bread had large chunks of garlic hidden in it. The halibut fish dish was pretty good. Husband's dinner had foil in it. Dessert was okay. Overall wasn't impressed and not sure why this place has such high ratings. The one positive was the service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Don't think we will be going back though.

Ambiance outside on the deck is amazing, service was excellent, food was good but not amazing, but the price is not $$. That should be updated. Make sure you check the menu prices beforehand. The entire menu is expensive.

Five of us went there for a birthday celebration. While the ambience was on the sterile side, with plain walls and a lot of mirrors,, the food and service were excellent. We had a most wonderful server, Annette, who catered to all of our needs. The lobster bisque was excellent as was the Caprese salad and eggplant pancakes. The lamb, redfish, and Pekin duck, as well as the "out of shell" lobster, were all excellently prepared. The Keylime pie was excellent. All in all a very positive experience and we will certainly visit again. Management was also most kind, giving each of us a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate the birthday. Be aware however, prices are on the high side.

We had a pleasant experience last night at Ophelia's. Our appetizers were really good and we would definitely come back to taste it again if the menu allows us. Notice that the menu might change depending on the day/season. We also had an amazing view by the bay with a lot of sea creatures to make the night perfect!

I've been here more times than I can count and can't believe that the food, service, ambiance gets better every time. I have only ever eaten outdoors at this location, and it is by far the only way I recommend experiencing Ophelia's. The menu changes frequently with some things staying on the menu for a while. Steaks, salmon, any seafood are always perfectly cooked, Paella was a perfect portion with a generous amounts of shellfish. My diet is gluten free, and I'm always able to find plenty of safe options at Ophelia's. The service here is top-notch. They tend to get a feel for the type of evening you're looking for whether it is a quiet date with a partner or a great time with friends and their energy has always matched the vibe we're going for for the evening. Desserts and drinks are always a must and always amazing.

The ambiance was beautiful. The waitors were friendly and polite. The food was amazing. Came from out of state, and would come back for sure very memorable birthday dinner.

The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. Our server gave amazing recommendations for both food & cocktails. She was on top of everything! I would get everything again, except for the ragoons - they were delish, but they barely had any stuffing. The crab cakes are a must have and the beet salad was much better than most. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the Cioppino was the perfect combination. I tried the scallops & ravioli special and it was also amazing.

Ophelia's lives up to the hype. For years I had heard incredible things about this restaurant so my expectations were high walking in the door. The view is fantastic, the service was great and the food wad delicious. Our server was also the bartender which gave us the best of both worlds. Incredible knowledge on cocktails and wine as well as speed in delivery. The food was fresh, fantastic and beautiful. The chèvre and beets salad was creamy, tangy and savory. And the seafood was cooked to perfection in every execution and seasoned to enhance the flavor and overall plate. Will definitely be back.

We really had a nice, calm evening here. There is complimentary valet, as parking is really tight. You don't really have a choice but to go this way. The service here was great. Marc really took care of us. The food was also very good. They change the dish preparations pretty much daily. The view was also great from outside. We will definitely be back here.

A true gem on Siesta Key!! Excellent food & service! A great view. our server, Sylvia is excellent! The PEI mussels in sauce were excellent. Loved the scallops! They closed after Hurricane Helene and Milton didn't help!! They are back in action! A true gem!!

Food was amazing & unique flavor/options. The view of the bay is gorgeous and it was a very romantic place to eat. The restaurant made sure to follow up & make sure we were happy with our service & experience. We would love to visit again.

This restaurant has a nice setting on the south end of Siesta Key but unfortunately that's about the only thing to recommend it for.Our party of 4 were seated inside and we all ordered something different: the salmon arrived completely under cooked with an off taste on the only bite-it was sent back,the pot roast was a single 2 inch cube that was a bit tough and over cooked-it was served with 4 small round potatoes,the prime rib had a network of fat veins in the middle and an ugly fat globule on the outside edge,the scallops were the only saving grace-they were good.In addition to the bad food, this restaurant has a policy of no substitutions which the snooty chef probably sees as some sort of insult to his creative genius.It is truly amazing to think that a restaurant that charges $52 for a hunk of pot roast would then lay on an extra charge for a different side.When we told our waiter that we were disappointed with our meals,he copped an attitude and never returned to ask us if we wanted dessert but quickly came over with the bill which he hadn't split by couples-something we had asked for when we had first been seated. Poor food, poor service and ridiculously high prices -what a combination!

Been coming here for over 20 years. It's always been good till now. We had 7pm reservations. It was very busy. Server was nice. Kitchen delayed probably because it was very busy. Overall it was good for the 3 out of 4 of us. I had the Nova Scotia Halibut. It was to have pieces of lobster on top of the halibut and sauce. It did not. Almost every bite was as if there was bits of dirt in it. Gritty. It seemed like maybe it had been dropped on the ground and instead of making a new one, it was brushed off and served. I should have sent it back but I didn't want to ruin it for the others. Now, I'm forever leary. To top it off I ordered a decaf Irish coffee. Nope it had caffeine. Was up all night. Very disappointed this time.

We spent our anniversary here and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the lobster risotto.

First time, dining here, will be back for sure. I had the snapper that was delicious and want to come get it again. Bryce was our server and very nice and personable. We met Les and enjoyed our chat:) Ask for him when you go.

Service was excellent, we were seated next to the water and it was a wonderful setting; the table and ambiance were great. I know it's the gulf, but I was in the mood for a steak! So I had the 16 ounce ribeye, sous vide, it was delicious, salad, sides were all great.

Ophelia's never disappoints when it comes to ambiance, cuisine and service. This is a special place for my husband to go once in a great while when we are craving a superior romantic dining experience.

It was Valentines Day and I was eating with my love so just about any place would have received 5 stars, but Ophelia's was so romantic and so delicious I'm pretty sure I'd give it five stars every day! My husband (yes, after 36 years he's still my Valentine) and I each started with cocktails at the bar which were expertly made. We were then seated. We were right on the water and close to an outdoor heater so it was perfect. The waiter gave us menus and explained the specials. We each had a salad, beet for me and wedge for my husband. We had plenty of time to just relax and enjoy the view. We then ordered wine and our dinners. I had scallops on heart-shaped ravioli and it was delicious. My husband had jambalaya which he said was pretty spicy. Sometimes a review is more than the food and the service. Sometimes it's the entire experience and our experience was romantic and wonderful.

Exec Summary: This was a great experience and the food was exceptional. This was a significantly expensive meal however. I was also disappointed by our seating even though my wife had requested a nice seat in advance and the place was over 50% empty the entire time we were there. Arrived for our 32 wedding anniversary. Valet parking (complementary but of course tipped $5 later) We arrived 30 minutes early and said we would wait to be seated if a problem, but they seated us immediately. I am left handed and we were seated at a two top away from the windows with a 4x4 support post at the corner of the table with my left arm. I asked for the table to be moved a bit and in this confusion they seated us further away from the windows (TWO tables were empty - albeit four tops) and we were in the middle of the floor/restaurant. A four top as well. My wife had to pear martini and I had club soda and cranberry. We each had one of the two cakes on the crab-cake appetizer. The chef is supposedly from Maryland and I will say these were VERY authentic and awesome Maryland style (non-bready and not mayo gobbed filled) VERY nice and properly cooked. ( I have eaten at almost ALL of the top Baltimore and surrounding MD places) My wife got the recommended Clarified Butter Caramelized New England Diver Sea Scallops with a Orange-Ginger-Miso Butter Reduction, Gochujang Aioli, Sweet Soy Drizzle, & Jasmine Rice. This was an AWESOME and wonderful dish (picture attached or somewhere here) presentation, prep and cooking was magnificent. We truly recommend this entree. While awesome at $60 ($59 to b accurate) just for this plate/entree it was very expensive even by NY 'standards' or experience. My Yellowfin was definitely a sushi/sashimi grade piece of fish (Tataki Tuna) that was seared perfectly and seasoned smartly and to my liking and tastes. This dish was great top to bottom with Totogoashi Spice, KimChee cucumbers, wakame salad, Japanese whisky and white truffle infused barrel aged smokey sweet soy, apricot-sweet chili glaze and a warm angry lobster Oshizushi sushi rice cake and tempura crispies. Yes this was a taste sensation up and down the entree. VERY nicely done and good. a fairly hefty amount of fish (maybe too much) but I guess that is to justify the $55 entree price. I could have had less for $35 to $40 quite frankly. The service was absolutely exceptional and my non-alcoholic beverage and waters were bottomless. Place-ware and silverware all swapped out appropriately. We will be back for sure but only for a special occasion. Tax, tags, delivered and with tips and parking $245 for two and only one with alcoholic drinks? So $$$$$ rating there.

The server could not have been better. Everyone we interacted with was terrific. Everyone seated in the several tables around us were there celebrating birthdays or anniversaries. The staff gladly took pictures. Great staff! The food was mediocre to absolutely inedible. We switched plates to make sure we were not just being picky. The chef needs to go to Madison's and order their shrimp Rangoon. Mine was cream cheese wrapped in overcooked dough that I think was Pillsbury Crescent rolls. Sauces were spicy ( we were not warned it would be spicy and peanut butter... not a peanut sauce but actually peanut butter. My partner ordered our favorite fish and again... go to Kaceys to learn that you do not cover a mild fish with an equal size pile of weird fruit. We both had forgotten we had been there before and swore we would not return. We won't forget this time. Keep your staff happy! They are the only reason people left happy.

Ophelia's offers a rare combination of gorgeous views, great food, and quality service. Sitting down by the water on a perfect summer evening made for an unforgettable night. Every dish was executed perfectly from the crab cakes to the filet. This is definitely a go-to restaurant if you're in the a Parking is a little tricky. Do not be intimidated if their small parking lot is full as they offer valet services and there is a public parking lot for Turtle Beach a minute away if needed.

Ambiance - outside tight on the Intercoastal Service, always helpful and informed. Will guide you if not sure. Food- daily menu with wide choices and core favorites. Chef is always exploring.

Really enjoyed our meal on the water here...since it is one if the very few restaurants on the water in the area. We would have preferred outdoor dining, however it was hot and a storm was rolling in so we chose to sit inside by the window and the view was just as beautiful. This is a very nice restaurant and a great place for a special occasion or date night. Excellent cocktails, and the menu is a bit smaller...but great options. Food was wonderful and the atmosphere is beautiful. Valet service is very convenient...

This was our first visit and certainly will not be our last. We had tried to go a few years ago and could not get in. This time we had a reservation along with (4) friends. The food was wonderful and no one in the party of 6 was disappointed. I had the Filet Mignonette and it was cooked perfectly. The Cambozola Sweet Onion Jam was a great touch.. Normally sides are just sides, but the potato gratin and vegetables were delicious. Bryce, our server was well versed and you could tell he was a seasoned employee. He offered great suggestions. I was ready to get a different desert but he suggested Baked Alaska. It was very good. We dined outside and weather was perfect. Later we read it had been named the most romantic place to dine in Sarasota. Yes it is likely $$$$$. Just remember value is a function of price and quality.

Everything about this place is fantastic! The service was wonderful. The snapper, filet, and scallops were top notch. Try an old fashion is was delicious. To top it off, desert was amazing. We tried the key lime pie, macadamia tart and crème brûlée. You have to try!!!!

Beautiful waterfront restaurant. There were 5 of us and we had 4 appetizers and 5 different main courses and everything was wonderful. I won't go through the dishes individually because my understanding is that the menus changes very frequently. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented well. I was there for a business dinner however, it would be a great place for a romantic evening with your partner. I will warn you. It's not inexpensive. The bill for the 5 of us was north of $700. And we didn't buy any expensive bottles of wine. Just a few individual glasses and a couple of folks had a cocktail. Our server Chris was also excellent. Great recommendations and knew the menu inside and out. Which is impressive because it changes so often and the dishes were anything but simple.

The service to start was amazing!! Marc was great. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and had other recommendations on other great place near me. The scenery is great also. We wanted something water front so we sat outside and the food was amazing! My first time trying red snapped and I was not disappointed. The fruit salsa that came on top of it made it so much more flavorful. The lobster bisque was 10/10 and has a good amount of lobster which I was not expecting. Everything about our dinner was amazing.

Love this place! It has an ever-changing menu full of unique and delicious options. A bit pricey, but with such delicious food and a gorgeous view overlooking the bay, it is perfect for a date night or special occasion.

Hidden Gem! Our first visit and we will be back. Valet parking. Amazing wait staff. Les our Maître d' greeted us and escorted us to our table. Massive outdoor deck overlooking the bay but too cold to enjoy on this night. An Osprey nest sits on a piling just off the outdoor deck. We were seated at a beautiful corner table overlooking the deck, bay and the Osprey. There is no bad table or view at Ophelia's. Marc was our waiter. Attentive and very personable. A native New Englander. Cocktails, kettle one dirty with Blue Cheese olives. Wonderful selection of small plate appetizers. This is a Seafood house but they offer options. I chose the Veal and Lisa the Lamb chops. We had just come off 75th birthdays and starting our 54th year of marriage. They treated us to a champagne toast and desert. Chef is a master. Quality establishment. Extensive wine selections. Special occasion in your life? Celebrate it at Ophelia's on the Bay. Midnight Pass Rd. Siesta Key.

Food and service were adequate but the friendliness of the staff ( especially the reception desk and speed of service )could have been better. They refused to honor the seating time and were rude responding to inquiries regarding seating and delays to be seated. All coupled with an attitude. The food was expensive, but I knew that beforehand. I just felt the whole package was lacking considering the premium price.

Since they increased their prices we haven't been back. Loved going but just cannot see paying the prices. Our last meal there was $200 for 2 with NO alcohol

First off, we want to compliment our server John for taking good care of us and giving us some great recommendations. He deserves a lot of kudos... Ophelia's on the Bay is a little lovely seafood restaurant that packs a punch with its exquisite flavors. The owner, who is also the chef, was performing his magical food expertise on the evening of me and my wife's 20th wedding anniversary. We did a good read through of the menu, but our waiter John gave us a great rundown of what was in store. Now what's amazing about the menu options is that the selections are ever changing; if you love a dish, you may not see it again the next time you come back. Personally, I like that because it makes the dining experience more enjoyable and surprisingly new each time you visit. The descriptions below were taken directly from the menu. For starters, we ordered the Maine Lobster Bisque with Brandy, Sherry, Butter Cracker Crumb and Crème Fraiche and one order of the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare "Nachos". The lobster bisque was sinfully divine; creamy goodness with an unexpected crunch from the butter cracker crumb. I could eat that ALL day. The tuna "nachos" were also a pleasant surprise, having a great symphony of flavors that were music to your tastebuds. Now on to our main dishes. Disclaimer: At the time I wrote this review, the menu had changed, so I'm going off from memory from this point. My wife ordered the Clarified Butter, Caramelized New England Sea Scallops with Potato Gnocchi. The sea scallops were cooked to perfection; it was so tender that it basically melted in your mouth like butter. The potato gnocchi was an excellent duet partner for this dish. My dish I ordered was a Diver's Golf Black Grouper with mash potatoes, sweet potato purée and asparagus. My experiences with grouper at other restaurants were always over cooked or dry so to speak. This particular dish was THE BEST GROUPER dish in Florida. Just like the scallops dish, the grouper was cooked to perfection; flakey and tender, just like how an excellent piece of fish should be. Everything on my plate completely complemented each other. So good. As far as desserts go, their pastry chef knows what they're doing. My wife ordered a chocolate cake that was pretty good. According to our waiter, the chocolate was imported from Belgium. Not too sweet. Just right. I ordered the Key Lime Pie with what I assume is a key lime infused whip cream on top and a mango sauce on the bottom. Never have I ever had the taste of key lime and mango compliment each other like that. I would have loved the key lime pie be a little bit more tart, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, our anniversary dinner was such a memorable one. The gulf view from our table was so beautiful, and the whole dining experience at Ophelia's on the Bay was second to none. We will be back in the future, and looking forward to a new adventure.

My bf and I were visiting from California and had a beautiful dinner here with my parents! Ophelia's is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the water where you'll see kayakers and maybe even dolphins if you're sitting on the deck and get lucky. From start to finish our server, Aldo, took great care of us! Dinner starts with complimentary bread / butter which they refill when they see you are low. For appetizers we had: - crab cakes, mussels, and caprese salad For main entrees we had: - grouper with mashed potatoes, yam, and asparagus - scallops with rice and asparagus Everything was delicious and you can't go wrong with any of these options. Their menu changes daily so you may not have the same options but it seems like the appetizers are constant. Parking is by valet and dining is by reservation only.

The food was fantastic, ambience was good. Here's the issue: when having a special occasion night out at over $100/per person, service matters. You shouldn't have to flag someone down after waiting 20 full minutes to take your drink order. You shouldn't ever have to ask for anything. You shouldn't be told the blue cheese olives aren't freshly prepared at the bar because it would take too much time. You shouldn't have to send your drink back because it wasn't made to your order. The chef did his job well. No manager came by and no one said thank you or good night. We were there for a special occasion, anniversary, noted it on the reservation, mentioned it at the table and there was no acknowledgment whatsoever.A little hospitality goes a long way.

I'm happy to write the first vegan review! I was looking for restaurants with a view for my anniversary dinner when I came across Ophelia's. I called to see if they would be able to accommodate, since there wasn't anything vegan listed on the menu. This place is top notch, and I'm so glad we went here. The service is really incredible and they are very attentive. We were able to get a salad as well as a pasta with vegetables. Everything was great, and I was really pleased that they were able to accommodate. Of course, the view was great as well. I look forward to our next visit!

Add an excellent meal here. Last time we were here, probably 4 years ago, I don't feel like the food was quite as spot on as this time. We had appetizers, salad and 2 serving of ~ The Yellowfin ~ Tataki Seared with Togorashi Spice, Kim Chee Cucumbers, Wakame Salad, Japanese Whiskey and White Truffle Infused Barrel Aged Smokey Sweet Soy, Apricot-Sweet Chili Glaze, Warm Angry Lobster Oshizushi Sushi Rice Cake, Tempura Crispies ... Pricey ($55), but really delicious. Also had a snapper entree Desserts were equally delicious!! VG server and beautiful views. The no See ums did come out, we've got done right as they started to really get aggressive. I'm spraying next time! Will definitely be back, really enjoyed this excellent chef's work.

I only ate at the bar but the food, drinks and service were great. I can only imagine that eating in the porch with the beautiful view would be even better. I had the crab cake appetizer and it was superb.
