My experience at Opium was extremely disappointing and honestly shocking. My friends had a table inside, and security told us to enter through the other side because it was raining. When we got there, the staff refused to let us in for no valid reason.
When my friend raised her voice asking why, the security team became aggressive. They pushed us, spoke to us disrespectfully, and even said that even if we had a paid table, we specifically would not be allowed inside like the others. When we asked for an explanation, the guard refused to answer and simply said, “Have a good night, goodbye,” while dismissing us.
It felt like a complete power trip rather than any real policy. Their behavior was unprofessional, impolite, and completely unacceptable for a club that claims to offer good service. Handling clients physically and refusing to explain decisions shows a serious lack of training and basic respect.
I have never been treated this way in my life. Opium needs to address how their security staff treats people. I won’t be returning and I absolutely cannot recommend this place.
