Oppa Korean Fried Chicken absolutely blew me away! This was hands-down the most flavorful and crispy fried chicken I’ve ever had. The service was just as amazing; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Even though I was just passing through town on a work trip, they took their time to make me feel at home. If you're in New Orleans and love fried chicken, this spot is a must!

The chicken here is amazing. Customer service was very friendly and nice. Fried to perfection and dip in sauce. Now I got the garlic honey wings combo my only suggestion will be ask and read . The fries come in dipping sauce or u can add meat to it which cost more. I was unaware and got just fires and they were just plain didn’t care for the fries but the chicken is something serious. I’ve been back for just the chicken alone.

Coming from Dallas we were looking for anything similar to what we have in Dallas. It definitely wasn't like what I had imagined. Hot and crispy chicken. Our wings took a long time to come out which is typical but it came out room temp, not even warm. Definitely not what im used to but this might be the way they make it here. Not sure if that's the case so im not gonna give it low stars. The flavors was not hitting the spot for me. Too much sauce on room temp chicken. The crispness was there, that's all it had going for it. Not disappointing though because I did come in with high expectations since I've been to the big name korean chicken places. Overall, im happy Louisiana has a place like this but I probably won't travel here and stop again. Wish them the best of luck hope they open many more locations for LA.

I eat chicken every day, and let me tell you—I’ve had my fair share of wings. But holy crap, this was hands down the crispiest and most delicious chicken I’ve ever had. Every bite was perfection. The flavors were incredible, and the fries? Thin, golden, and crispy—absolutely 100/10. On top of that, the staff was so kind and welcoming. I’m already planning my next visit. If you love chicken, you need to try this place.

Chicken is fried to perfection and the spicy korean sauce is the right balance of sweet and spicy. I definitely will be back. My only complaint is its a little pricy. I spent $25 for 6 wings and bulgogi fries, which were also 10/10, full of meat and flavor, just something to keep in mind when ordering here.

Great chicken wings!!! Great hospitality. My daughter and I were lucky enough to have a conversation with Phi, the owner, about his concept. Don’t be afraid to order these wings to go. These wings stayed crispy an hour and a half after we picked them up. Phi claims his special recipe batter will remain crispy up to 4 hours even while soaked in sauce. I can’t vouch for the full four hours but I can tell you after 90 minutes the only thing that changed was the temperature of the wings. BTW, I gave “Atmosphere 4 stars because they are still in the renovation process. Oh, get the KimChi ranch with your fries.

Amazing service, top notch quality, absolutely worth the price. Coming from jersey and having traditional Korean fried chicken, i can solemnly say this is the best you'll find anywhere! Please support this wonderful place!

There are places you go to because of the food, service, atmosphere, or the general vibe. I'm not saying Oppa is lacking in any category, but I will say they excel in the food. The chicken is consistently moist, flavorful, and boasts the substantial crunch by which all Korean fried chicken should be measured. I have tried every flavor and prefer the honey garlic and spicy Korean personally. The execution of excellence is evident in every bite. The crunch has become quite literally the standard by which Korean fried chicken exists in my mind and mouth. It is more than worth the drive to Metairie which I have repeated on multiple occasions from Uptown. It is rare to find a place where the dishes served can inspire the desire I expeience when I'm in the mood for some fried chicken. Oppa not only delivers what I have come to crave, but does so consistently.
