Tried Oppa Korean Fried Chicken. It was honestly really good. We got the Kombo #5 which is 5 tenders fries and large drink, added 1 tender, and upgraded our meal $5 more to get the bulgogi fries instead of plain. We tried three different flavors for our tenders: Honey Lemon Pepper (me and my boyfriends FAV), Spicy Korean (wasn’t really spicy nor flavorful to us), and Hot Honey Glaze (tastes as expected really). Next time we’d go back for the Honey Lemon Pepper and try the other flavors they had. My boyfriend said the Bulgogi fries were amazinggggg and honestly a meal in it of itself. Staff were SUPER helpful and accommodating (3 flavors 6 tenders) and I can only assume the owner or manger told us about the $5 up charge to get the Bulgogi fries instead of paying an extra $10 something to get it. We also only spent $28 for everything and were stuffed for hours after! 9/10 Will definitely be back

The year is 2025. I’m 45 or 46 years old. I was a chef for 20 years and I’m just TODAY finding the best chicken wing I’ve ever had. Now Gus’ is still top fried chicken. But when talkin’ wings, these guys and their sauces are winning for me. Got it to go. SAUCE ON FHE SIDE (as the kitchen gods demand it) Crispy isn’t even the word. It’s past crispy and crunchy. It’s Hevenly. If it hadn’t been so perfect I would have put down my phone. Washed my hands. And typed my review right then but I needed more crumbs from the bottom of the box first. Juicy. Crispy. And flavorless in an interesting way. They’re a perfect vessel for the flawless sauces. We had a soy garlic and something else red that was really great. I’m sure they’re all solid! And I’ll be trying them all as this is my new go to for wings. Sorry, wing-stop. Hard stop. And go to Oppa! Ps. 20 wings sauce on the side was reasonably priced and seriously if you don’t get the sauce on the side you’ll regret your life. You want that crunch!

It’s not worth their price and the quantity in their menu. And more over the chicken has not been cooked well it’s raw still inside and taste is also just ok. And the customer service is also not that good I can’t tell and their forgot the sauce which I paid for to take home order and again I went back and took it. And mainly the chicken is not cooked properly and not hygiene.

Coming from Dallas we were looking for anything similar to what we have in Dallas. It definitely wasn't like what I had imagined. Hot and crispy chicken. Our wings took a long time to come out which is typical but it came out room temp, not even warm. Definitely not what im used to but this might be the way they make it here. Not sure if that's the case so im not gonna give it low stars. The flavors was not hitting the spot for me. Too much sauce on room temp chicken. The crispness was there, that's all it had going for it. Not disappointing though because I did come in with high expectations since I've been to the big name korean chicken places. Overall, im happy Louisiana has a place like this but I probably won't travel here and stop again. Wish them the best of luck hope they open many more locations for LA.

The chicken here is amazing. Customer service was very friendly and nice. Fried to perfection and dip in sauce. Now I got the garlic honey wings combo my only suggestion will be ask and read . The fries come in dipping sauce or u can add meat to it which cost more. I was unaware and got just fires and they were just plain didn’t care for the fries but the chicken is something serious. I’ve been back for just the chicken alone.

I tried the wings with honey garlic on the side, a spicy Korean tender, and the bulgogi fries. I’d say that yes the wings live up to the hype of being super crunchy and the meat was juicy, but the honey garlic sauce was way too sweet for me. I liked the spicy Korean much better although it was more sweet than spicy. I almost didn’t order it thinking it would be too hot but actually if you are looking for sweet and savory I would say this hit the mark more of what I was expecting from the honey garlic. The bulgogi meat itself was really good but there was too much mayonnaise (oppa sauce I’m guessing) on the fries which drowned the flavor.

Oppa Korean Fried Chicken absolutely blew me away! This was hands-down the most flavorful and crispy fried chicken I’ve ever had. The service was just as amazing; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Even though I was just passing through town on a work trip, they took their time to make me feel at home. If you're in New Orleans and love fried chicken, this spot is a must!

I don’t usually like bone in chicken, this is the first place to ever get me to crave their bone in! The breading stays crispy and crunchy, no matter how drenched you get them in sauce and the flavor is always impeccable! They also started carrying chicken tenders, not too long ago, and they are my husband’s go to! The Bulgogi fries are also worth a mention. If you’re in the area and craving some good chicken, I highly recommend.
