The 23 Best Restaurants In Salt Lake City - Salt Lake City - The Infatuation

"There are plenty of parallels between Oquirrh, the restaurant, and the mountains of the same name. The west side Oquirrh range often gets overlooked for the bigger, snowier Wasatch range in the east, and similarly, this small restaurant in a former diner space isn’t as flashy as other spots in town. Even still, Oquirrh is our top pick for a date night or special occasion dinner in Salt Lake City. While much of the menu is seasonal, the milk-braised potatoes, cooked until the milk turns into creamy curds, are always available and always good. Don’t sleep on the confit chicken pot pie made with a puff pastry crust, especially on cold winter nights." - jenny willden

We have lived a short distance from here for years, but this was our first time visiting! It's an amazing park with lots of things to do for all ages I will say there are a lot of ropes! My 6 year old loved it and excelled, but my 3 year old needed a lot of help. I wish there were alternative ways besides climbing ropes that you could get to the taller slides, but otherwise, it was a great time! There are a lot of benches for parents to observe, covered seating, walking pathways, adventurous playhouses, slides, small trampolines, swings, spinning activities, etc... We also brought our dog and I could easily walk on pathways around the park while the kids played. There's also a huge field to enjoy!

This park offers stunning panoramic mountain views of the entire Wasatch range. I think it’s the best spot in the city to watch a sunrises or moonrises. Overall it’s Very clean and well maintained. Offers lots of open space for picnics and various sports activities. It has a dedicated path laid for walking/running.

Just discovered this great park tonight while on my walk. Not sure how long it’s been open, but what a find! Can’t wait to bring the grandkids! There’s an area for the littler ones with a fun little house and an I ground mini tramp along with other stuff. The bigger kid area includes a zip line, tube slides, and a big wide slide at the bottom. A previous reviewer mentioned shade sails… I too think that would be a terrific addition.

It was fun to be there for a swim meet! We will have to go back when the kiddy area is open!

My son celebrated his youngest daughter's 7th birthday party at the pool. The children and the adults all had a blast. It was a wonderful experience and a perfect place to invite everyone to come enjoy her special day!

Love this playground. Perfect for little kids and also for big kids. I love that the toddler section is divided so my toddlers can wander pretty freely and explore. We have spent many hours here. It's usually pretty quiet with a few kids to play with. My kids love seeing the dogs walk past. During storms or sunsets the views are amazing.

Glorious park! My kids from the age of 4 to 19 years had so much fun! There are bathrooms and pavilions and lots of open grass. Great place to enjoy the day.
