Man if I could give this place 7 stars I would. We ordered the party menu #A for 20 people this past Sunday for my baby's 100 day celebration. We originally wanted to order from Joeun in Fullerton since we live in OC but they were closed Sundays so we chose to order from Nakwon and have my sister who lives in LA pick it up for us. I swear the food was enough for 40 people...even though we ordered it for 20. Everything was sooooooo scrumptious and everyone went for seconds and thirds... Super happy about our experience here and will definitely continue to use them for future catering needs. Also the church I grew up in orders catering regularly from this place so definitely a legit catering company. Oh I need to mention that the number listed on Yelp is incorrect. It's actually: (323) - 466 - 3737 to order!!!

Catered from here for my wedding and wow all the guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was and how it's the best food they've had at a wedding. I was nervous in the beginning since I had a very diverse group of guests but they knocked it out of the park with the food to accommodate my Korean family, other Asian guests and American guests. They were extremely prompt with their communication and answered any and all questions we had. We had a couple allergies and they were very accommodating with that too. From set up, service time, and clean up, their staff were so helpful and hard working. My husband and I highly recommend them and will definitely cater again in the future.

We hired Nakwon to cater our November 2024 wedding. From the beginning, they were very prompt at responding to any questions and were accommodating to our needs. On the day of, all of the staff was professional, efficient, and helpful. And most importantly, the food was delicious! We were all in awe of the presentation and the spread, which despite the variety, the quality and taste were not compromised. We'd definitely use Nakwon again for future catering needs, whether for parties or other events.

We did our wedding catering with Nakwon, and it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! The communication with the owner was much smoother than with other big Korean wedding catering places we spoke to, and the price was a lot more competitive as well. As soon as we spoke to the owner, she sent us many photos of previous wedding catering they had done. The owner was easy to work with, accommodating changes in the menu to suit our guests' dietary preferences while staying within our original budget. We also chose Nakwon because they provide all the essentials--utensils, charger plates, tablecloths, glasses, chair covers & sashes, cake plates, and cutting services--for a flat fee. This was much more affordable than other caterers and saved us the headache of obtaining all these items separately. We were able to customize the color of the chair sashes and linen napkins to match our theme. They offer silver or gold charger plates. On the day of the wedding, we even received certain menu items from the upgraded menu, and the food was amazing. So many of our guests personally came up to us to tell us how good the food was (some said it was literally the best wedding food they had), and many wanted to take leftovers home. The food was traditional Korean, the way my grandparents' generation used to cook (even according to the older Korean guests who attended). It was extremely flavorful and not too spicy or salty. Our non-Korean guests loved the food as well, especially the marinated eel, crab, and galbi-jjim, which literally melted in your mouth. The staff were incredibly nice and easy to work with, super attentive to detail, and great with communication. They arrived early to set up and made sure the buffet stations looked nice, even tying blue kerchiefs around the handles of the food warming lamps to match our blue and white theme. They helped cut and distribute the cake very quickly after the cake-cutting ceremony. They also made sure all the leftovers were packaged in boxes they provided. I was grateful they stayed a bit longer to accommodate our timeline since we held the reception and ceremony in the same space. The owner even packed my parents a few boxes of four different types of kimchi that she had made especially for our family as a gift! Nakwon was also incredibly generous with their portions--we ordered for 60, but I think they provided enough to feed at least 70! We paid in cash and got a waiver on tax, which was a nice bonus.

I'm blown away by Nak Won catering and their phenomenal service for our wedding. All the guests were praising the food all night long and I couldn't be happier as the bride. They came 3 hours before the dinner to set up the tables & chairs with beautiful white linen, and stayed 4 hours after dinner to clean up everything! The caterers were so polite and respectful and the guests and I were very grateful for their cheerful service. We were amazed by the quality of all the dishes (galbijjim, mushroom tangsooyuk, etc to name a few) and their professionalism from the beginning to the end. Tables and tables of heavenly deliciousness :) Our guests were also happy that Nak Won brought to-go containers for anyone to take home leftovers from the buffet! Who doesn't love a no-waste establishment?! The owner Min was very responsive and accommodating from the planning phases so we could achieve our goals for the evening. We so appreciated the special touches during the evening which we didn't ask for, like bringing extra water that wasn't included and they plated and served two dishes for the bride and groom so we wouldn't starve! How sweet and thoughtful of them! My husband and I would LOVE to have Nak Won cater for our next big event even if it's not a wedding! Thank you again Nak Won for making our wedding extra special and memorable!

Food, Service, Ambience, and quality of food are amazing. I order from Nak Won almost once or twice a month.

Highly recommend! Food came on time and fresh. The only thing I would say is our drink of choice was not on site after they had left, but we had beverages so it was not too much of a concern.

My church order catering from here once in a while. Their foods are pretty good. Also my sister's wedding, my mom ordered food from here (most expensive option). All the wedding guests were saying 'twas the beat buffet ever. So many compliments :)

GALBI JJIM FTW Authentic, old school Korean catering means the kitchen don't look pretty but their food is damn good! Other places wouldn't take our last minute catering order but Nak Won did and I'm so glad because we all loved their food! Pros - galbi jjim is delicious! It's not crazy sweet full of sugar like norm it's marinated just right. Heads up it's ONLY meat/bones there's no carrots or radish braised with it. We didn't mind it just meant more meat! - variety. We ordered California rolls and was surprised to see 4 different types of rolls! - free dessert was added! I don't know if that's normal but we were surprised to see sesame ball dduk and sweet potato dessert. - everything we ordered was delicious - pay cash and they'll waive the tax Cons - galbi jjim didn't have carrots or radish lol. I happen to like it. - the tempura was a bit too fried and hard. Shrimp tiny. I definitely recommend Nak Won! Tip when ordering catering trays always order a little less than head count it's ALOT of food!

Catered for a student film set, and our cast and crew of 35+ people were all clamoring for any leftovers we had left (which was little to begin with because people loved the food so much they had multiple rounds). Portions were amazing. The food was so good I literally ascedended.

First time catering from here and everything was amazing. First it was easy to pick the menu and schedule the date. Delivery was simple and quick. Delivery person arrived 30min earlier and he was such a nice person. Food quality was the best in this experience. People we invited for the party had their first experience in Korean food, and even they loved all the food. I am Korean myself and I can say it was legit Korean food.

I tried Nak Won at friends party and they serve lots lots of food. Especially Galbi jjim was the best part.

They have the best food ever! Literally, I crave it. Sweetest owner and most delicious food! Can't wait to have it again! Must try! They are amazing!

My family often orders catering for family birthdays and holidays for years! Their food tastes good, is fresh and they're masters of takeaway. There is a lot of variety in the korean mains and sides they make. Take it easy on yourself and a break from the kitchen by supporting Nak Won!

Went to Nak Won to cater for a wedding in Temecula. After receiving their catering menu we were given the flexibility to pick and customize the food for the wedding even though the items were in different categories. On the day of the wedding they were prompt and all the guests were raving about the food. Very happy and thankful for the great service from here.

I have ordered catering through them 3 times already for some events at my work. My colleagues from a different department were impressed with their food (both taste and quantity) and I also ended up helping them order food from Nak Won for their event as well! It's a shame they close on Mondays... my colleagues wanted to order from them again for their Monday event, but we couldn't. Still, Nak Won is our #1 choice when it comes to Korean food catering. I've ordered the following items, and I can definitely vouch for them: - Sweet and sour pork - Teriyaki chicken - Vegetarian Japchae (glass noodles) - Vegetarian eggrolls - Vegetarian fried rice - Shrimp tempura - Bulgogi (beef) - Baked mussels - Seafood and vegetarian Pancakes -most popular among guests (both Koreans and non-Koreans)! - Kimbap (sushi) - Shikhae (rice punch) - Salad - Candied sweet potatoes (almost like a dessert item) The delivery was on time, and the food items were delivered safely. I work 40-45 min away from their establishment, and they took into account how difficult it is to locate our building. We will be ordering from them in the future!

The lady there was kind and professional. Make sure to bring your checkbook because it costs extra to use a debit or credit card. , , , and were pretty good. Pricing wasn't bad at all. Will come here next time for catering!

Why so much hate?? I LOVE Nakwon Catering. My parents have been going to them for years, especially moreso in recent years under their new ownership. My parents have gotten catering for their dinner parties whether the party size was 10 people or 50 people. Nakwon caters to your party needs. And I've been to plenty of Korean weddings that have used Nakwon. Just goes to show that yummy, consistent food will continue to be sought after. And the current owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met! Great customer service + good food = you will not go wrong. Thanks Nakwon for a great experience EVERY time we've bought your catering! Now when can I get some more of that shrimp tempura.... :)

I have catered from this place for many, many years.. for every get together at my house as well as companies venues. I have referred this place to all my friends and family. ALWAYS FABULOUS FOOD and BEST PRICES ! I have, extensively, searched for other caterers in town but NO one beats their Service and the Quality of food !

Their food is meh...they use too much oil and i've definitely had better Korean catering food than this. Their prices are also a little too high for the quality of their food. Find a different Korean catering business.

Good food for a catered food. One of the better one I must say. But my disappointment was their price. $35 dollars per person at 35 people minumum. This is for catered food and not a dine in. Their online price said $26 dollars for the package that I wanted. They stated that their online prices are outdated and that they couldn't honor that price. I wonder if that's legal? I had no choice since I procrastinated and waited till the last minute and they were the only place that said they could do it on such a short notice. Oh well lesson learned and paid the price for it. Definitely will not use them again for that price.

again encoutering nakwon In beverly hills korean wedding which was great setting in famous greystone mansion in last weekend. wedding was fabulous and gorgeous . after party was at hotel ,it was greatest all together dancing and cocktail bar outstanding compliment about food from guest was every where. It was best catering korean food and asian food . ,all the people had enjoied great time,many people highly recommend catering.

I had Nak Won do the catering for my wedding. I gave them one star for their ok food but let me list all of the horrible things.. I had about 100 people at my wedding and so they said they usually send about 2-3 people. I paid extra to have them send more people, about 5. They had 2.5 hours to set-up(buffet line, table linens, chairs, etc). The people lagged like crazy....my bridal party had to help out with tying ribbons on chairs, place settings..I mean I thought I paid outrageous prices for these services? I paid extra for a couple of the servers to pour champagne for the toast...when the toast happened about 1/10 of my guests were served with champagne and the others just lifted water glasses. After the wedding was over, they had 1.5 hours to clean up. My husband and I and our bridal party(yet again) had to stay and help clean up because a staff of 5 members was not enough to clean up quickly. Overall, I enjoyed my wedding because I shared it with family and the love of my life, regardless of this service. But I would never use them. Oh and my cake, I paid extra for that too and for some reason, when they brought it it was different from what I paid for. They were able to fix it but if you are in this business as long as they were, I don't understand why they made such problems.
