Googled this coffee shop. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. The coffee shop was clean, and the ambiance was comfortable. I was able to enjoy reading while sipping on my vanilla latte. I had a tasty blueberry muffin. I purchased an apricot scone and saved it for the next morning. It was still fresh and omg SO delicious! I look forward to visiting again.

I am not 100% sure how I feel about this coffee shop. I would try it again. However, today's experience was just okay. The nitro cold brew was very good. The space was a bit cold and uninviting. It could just be the first impression that was lackluster, but it is hard to say. I won't give specifics on the reasons, I will just hope it's better if there is a next time.

The coffee is good. However, where I come from, coffee is served with milk. Cow’s milk. Here, they serve coffee with plant based milk. I drank my coffee with “oat milk.” Not impressed. Thought it made the coffee worse. Would probably go back to drink my coffee black. I guess this what you get when you go to a vegan coffee shop. Whatever. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good coffee. Great servers. The oat milk for the latte could have been better. To thin not enough body. Made the latte taste watery. But otherwise worth the visit on Christman eve morning

Snow day in Portland so naturally everything shuts down. But the Oracle staff persevered to stay open for the neighborhood with quality 3rd wave coffee and tea (food was sold out). My wife and I found Oracle because we went on a walk and an afternoon espresso sounded good. The staff were really friendly and patient despite being on the tail end of one of their busiest days ever according to them. Pleasant neighborhood atmosphere for sure.

Very nice location, a quiet setting. I've been back in the Portland area for just over 2 years and this is the first cup of coffee I'm writing about because it's worth it. I got a latte and it was amazing. My first sip was a warm marshmallow of oat milk froth. The beans aren't burnt and the coffee is full-bodied. Just Yum! Oh, and no dairy served. I was skeptical, but I think I fell in love with oat milk.

Good coffee, pleasant, friendly service, with a nice open and bright space. This coffeehouse is proudly non-dairy; the oat milk creamer was an acceptable alternative to dairy, even if the consistency and aesthetic of the cup was slightly sub-par.

This place is beautiful. I really enjoy the consistent and clean design. As a coffee person, I was impressed by how many different coffees they had to offer. I went with the drip, which today was from Blueprint Coffee in St. Louis. Portland has many 'multi-roasters' like this shop that are very good, but Oracle stands apart from them in variety. Can't wait to spend more time here.

Stopped by Oracle when I was in the area for meetings. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I asked if they had any specialties. The barista wasn't very enthusiastic, but did make a recommendation for a drink I ended up really enjoying. The interior was somewhat sparse, I guess you call that industrial. There were a LOT of people on their laptops so it seems like a common option for working. Street parking only and it can be difficult in this area.

Still my favorite cafe in Portland! I love SOOFLY. My apricot scone was delicious. Love the vegan pastries! No charge on dairy alternative milk either is a PLUS. It's such a chill place to study and chat and I love how welcoming the baristas are with pets! Lots of seating available.

My daughter's favorite coffee spot! (Vegan) She suggested Flapjack latte with oat milk and it was sooo good! Service was phenomenal! Simple rustic looks with great vibes!

100% VEGAN. Great service! I came in to do some work and overall liked the vibe. There are individual seating options as well as a larger community table.

It was our 2nd time here at Oracle Coffee Company. Right now I am working on a book while sipping a delicious "flapjack latte". My wife and I are sharing a soft, sweet and sour, cranberry orange bunt cake. We also couldn't resist trying their pumpkin chai bread. The latte is unique to them and 9/10 for sure. Pastries are delicious and also 9/10. The customer service was awesome this time around. The person at the counter was friendly and even looked up the ingredients in a pastry for me. This visit had a nice neighborhood coffee vibe to it. And the person up front had some nice tattoos! I also noticed that they have a nice variety of teas. I haven't tried them yet but if you like tea, theres plenty here. Oh and they play coffee shop type music that is nice in the background while working!

I love going to this coffee shop from time to time in the area where I live and try their seasonal flavors because they're always unique and different and I do like a strong coffee though I am fond of fruity. I just need a strong aroma Maybe I'm a coffee addict? anyway, the service in the ambience is really fantastic and welcoming and they're always helpful to choose something. That's best for your taste and needs when it comes to caffeine.

Six stars if it was possible on Yelp. One hundred percent fully vegan cafe? I am sold. My partner is sold. Multiple times as a matter of fact we visited this café during our stay in Portland. Oracle makes killer lattes with plant based milks, serve wonderful vegan pastries from Shoofly Bakery, and have absolute taste in music. Matcha Latte - Tried this with oat and soy milk. Both versions were excellent but I may be a bit bias with oat milk. My cup was topped with elegant art and a taste to match. Full of matcha goodness balanced with the right amount of sweetness. I can drink this everyday! Hot Chocolate - Tried this with oat milk. Super creamy and rich in chocolate. The cup was topped with elegant art and sprinkles of chocolate pieces. If you are feeling down, this will surely pick you right up. Flapjack - Tried this as decaf with soy milk since we generally don't drink coffee. We overheard that this one tasted like pancakes and sure enough we went over and ordered a cup. Wow absolutely with the maple flavor it is unmistakable to the English Flapjacks. Maple Sausage Scone - From Shoofly Bakery, glazed with maple and covered with crystal sugar pieces along with savory sausage bits, this was a breakfast scone of perfection. Cinnamon Roll - From Shoofly Bakery, doused with icing and cinnamon innards, this muffin was bomb. Warning it is highly sweet and addictive. The location of this café is nice and the baristas here were friendly, providing stellar service. Tip go in early if you want to try the pastries as these goodies run out fast! We simply loved this café so much that we will not only come back the next time we are in town but attempt to find lodging closer so we may enjoy this every morning :)

Delicious dirty matcha latte and well-sourced cardamom coffee cake muffin. Nice, clean aesthetic & friendly and quick service. Just a solid experience. Second time I came in I had a dirty chai latte and that was equally delicious. Just the right amount of kick to it. Very laid back but attentive service as well.

This 100% vegan coffee shop in the heart of the S Waterfront area serves up great espresso and coffee drinks. It's important to make this point clear for people like me, who always have cream in my coffee. They offer several "milk" alternatives and the result is a delicious drink. Coffees come from a top roasters all of the country so the menu is fluid. Along with the coffee drinks they also sell pastries. Vegan of course. I haven't tried any yet but they look delicious. The interior is a bright, clean and spacious. An industrial modern vibe is created with beautiful natural wood, white walls, black accents and plants. There is seating inside with lots of charging ports making it a great place to work or just hang out. Outdoor seating available in warmer weather. Service is always friendly with a cheerful greeting as you enter. My daily walk often takes me down this way so when it's cold, a hot latte is enjoyed; and in the hot weather, an iced beverage gets me through my last mile!

Just moved to the neighborhood and as luck might have it, I get Oracle within walking distance. They're making great espresso and jamming punk rock in here at 7am. Yes! Right away I notice Oracle does not use dairy milk in their drinks. They do have oat milk and a few other alternatives like coconut milk. They also have a pastries and bagels. I order a flapjack which is a oat milk latte that's sweetened with maple syrup and cinnamon. The oat milk tastes just a touch lighter than regular milk. I must admit I was a bit nervous about whether or not I'd like oat milk! But now that I've tried the flapjack several times, I can confirm this absolutely delicious and very well crafted cup of coffee. And they always serve it with perfectly executed latte art (see my pic!). The baristas are engaging and nice. I've been victim to a couple cold, stuck-up meany baristas in the past but here they remember your face, your drink, and make you feel at home.

I couldn't even get a photo of my Matcha Latte I drank it before I could even write the review. The Oatmilk added to the Matcha is PERFECT! This coffee shop is sleek with some great music. The service is supported by some awesome people who will give you great recommendations if you have no clue what to order. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Great coffee, good music, just a chill place to hang out or bang out some work. I like the vibe at Oracle. They make a fantastic macchiato.

One of my favorite spots to focus and get work done at. The interior is neat and spacious, and it's usually never too crowded. The staff are also super friendly and I love the music they put on! Their drinks are also just as good - all made with alternative milks free of that pesky extra charge. My personal favorite is their matcha latte, it tastes authentic and isn't overpoweringly sweet. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a place to get in the zone!

I only drink cows milk cortados and cappuccinos, but my wife got an oat milk cappuccino here and it was outstanding. I should have checked what the oat milk was, because it was very good, but what was even more impressive was the overall taste. The milk and coffee seemed to complemented each other more than they usually do in vegan drinks. Also, it was notably strong, like the flavor of a cortado, but the size of a cappuccino. They use specialty, craft coffee producers, and while they seem to not be rotating right now, they have in the past. I didn't try the pastry, but my wife didn't think it was great.

Business is closed it would seem I've tried going here a couple times and it's empty and bare.

Love that this coffee shop is vegan! My husband and I love oat milk lattes, so we're happy to have found a place that can make great ones without the extra cost of substituting the milk. The espresso is great as well. It's in a great location too, by the quiet part of the waterfront. Highly recommend for any coffee lover!

Great coffee joint close to the river! They do pour overs as well which is my preferred caffeine delivery method. Today's was a delicious ethiopian roast which hit the spot. There is tons of open space for indoor seating and outdoor seating as well.

I was down visiting my brother for 3 weeks and I had the flapjack almost daily! It was sooo good and the employees were also friendly which made my experience juts right. Now to find one like it here in Cali.

Had to run 3 blocks and back to get coffee here & arrive to work on time, and definitely worth it! Service was wonderful, barista was kind and quick and my latte was so tasty. I'll definitely be back!

We came by and got the flapjack and it was delicious. We were on a road trip and it was so good we came by a 2nd time on our way back lol. Another great thing is that they have a great selection of vegan pastries! Everything we tried was excellent, I especially liked the zucchini bread. Yummy.

Relaxing and chill atmosphere despite the construction outside. Modern industrial design with black accents. Cute indoor plants to also make it feel warm and homey. Good mellow music that adds to the atmosphere. Welcomed right when I walked through the door. I got the Mocha with oat milk. Exactly what I was wanting, great coco flavor with a caffeine kick, without being too sweet or heavy. Came to check on me at my table which was also nice.. Must try! Found my new coffee place!!

My absolute favorite coffee shop, I come here almost every day lol. Love that they are all vegan and the coffee is SO delicious (even the decaf). My lattes are always the perfect temperature and have the perfect amount of foam. And the employees/owners are always so kind! I literally can't deal with lower quality coffee after frequenting Oracle

Beware, this place has no half-and-half (cream) because it's completely vegan. It would have been nice to mention that when I asked for a coffee with lots of room, but they did give me my money back after I got my drink. Staff seemed kind. Nice atmosphere.

I needed to get out of town and get some air. Stopped by Oracle for an Americano when I had to make the trek back home - great COVID precautions were taken by Oracle (barred the front door; order drink from the barista who's behind the bar; pay using Square app at the table. Pastries are covered under a glass bowl at the table - not sure how that works since I didn't order food, but seemed safe all around.) Ok, with all that 2020 covid stuff out of the way.. the coffee. I ordered an Americano and it was delicious, which cannot be said of all Americanos. Highly recommend!

Amazing coffee and amazing allergen friendly options! Had plain old drip coffee with their homemade vanilla syrup and almond milk but man was it perfectly sweet, creamy, and delicious! Staff were super friendly and the vibe was awesome. Would definitely recommend for a quick coffee or to hang out and get some work done.

It was my first time here and I ordered a cold brew coffee. I got it with oat milk and it was really good. The coffee shop was a walking distance from the Tesla service center so I was able to walk and get coffee. I didn't know that this coffee shop was vegan which was interesting because I haven't seen a vegan coffee shop before. The customer service was great as well, they had customers order at the door while the barista was behind the counter. This coffee shop took cover precautions very seriously which I was happy to see.

Great great great coffee. Really special. Excellent espresso drinks are all made with care. They can be a little slow when they have a ton of customers but it's well worth the wait! An iced oat milk latte is my go-to! The espresso in the drinks are amazing.

Oracle Coffee is a good choice to go for espresso while in the South Waterfront neighborhood. I go to the nearby OHSU buildings frequently, and often go to Oracle to get my favorite espresso drink, an Americano. I don't use milk or sweetener in my coffee, so it has to taste GOOD on its own (there's nothing to cover up the flavor if it's bad). Well, Oracle's coffee tastes fine to me..

Best coffee in Portland! Better than stumptown honestly and we didn't plan on going here either. We were just down the street getting Blue star donuts and wanted coffee

My first time trying Oracle coffee today and I cant wait to return! The oat milk latte was bold and smooth. It was so good that I couldnt tell it was made with non-dairy milk. My friend had the match latte and I am sure it was good too. Definitely, plan to come back soon!

I'm an espresso focused coffee afficianato. All of my experiences are based on ordering some variation of a straight espresso and then that same espresso with milk. Many times I am able to go into a business and order up a a one and one, because most coffee places split their shots out of the equipment they use. But there are a few places I have gone where the split shot is not available, therefore I am unable to get the "one & one" one shot straight up with one shot milked to the level of a macchiato. The ratio on that milked shot probably equals a half size Gibraltar. But all that information is useless here. Oracle is one of those places that doesn't have a split shot. So instead I got my mouth on a nice tart and fruity double espresso. It was a special blend that I didn't take note of. It was very full of flavor and totally worth getting. But I was also able to steal a small nip of my wife's "house stereo blend". Great fruity beginning and ended on a dark chocolate note with just the right roasted finish. Next time I stop in, I will definitely be more prepared. I will ask for a little stolen sip from my double shot, then I will let them fill it up with one of their many plant based milks. So yes, only plant based milks here. It's not my favorite, but usually, when businesses do this they make the concerted efforts to get the substitutes that best replace the regular experience. The service was good and efficient and Portland friendly, and if anything they handled my road bleary self very professionally. If you are planning on going here for coffee take into account the price of paying the parking meters on the street. Lot's of open space here, even on the busiest days I don't think this place would be uncomfortably crowded. I loved the long bar space at the windows. Great way to take in the gray PNW liquid skies.

This place is just what the neighborhood needed and I finally checked it out! The latte is great, and with oat milk you won't even miss regular cow's milk. The mocha is dusted with bitter sweet chocolate which adds the perfect touch! I'm not the type to say it's the "best" but it is certainly tops on my list! I like they don't charge you extra for plant based milk... but it seems to be already included in the price. They have a loyalty card and we'll definitely make use of that. Just offering your customers something back will ensure they come back over and over. Atmosphere: The staff is friendly. The decor is your basic relaxing modern coffee shop decor with brown and black colors. Some paintings on the white walls would be nice. I like the bench against the side wall... that's where the plugs are too. Music is nice and chill... thank god they're not playing Christmas music (it's December now).

The story goes... four Midwest guys who loved coffee followed their dream and moved to coffee city Portland. Having a passion for what you do leads to success and that is what is happening here. That my friends is how Oracle Coffee was born. Oracle is located at SW waterfront in a trendy, fresh and new storefront in the new Ella Apartment building. It's on the corner of Bond and Abernathy Avenues. Today was the grand opening! Super nice guys! They get beans from Portland roaster Heart coffee and many others so you can really have something different each time you come in. I had myself an iced cold brew which was perfect for this hot summer day. They serve tea as well. So with your coffee or tea you can also enjoy a fresh, delicious pastry. Great wifi... so bring your laptop. Good luck guys! :-)

Kind of obsessed with this place. I think this is considered a vegan establishment, which is pretty cool! We opted for the chai latte and vanilla latte-both with Oat milk. She listed a long list of milk options but don't think I heard regular milk, and all of their pastries were vegan friendly. The chai was the winner of our drinks! We headed here after grabbing some donuts from Blue Star a couple blocks down. No outside food or drink allowed btw, had to leave them in the car. Though this section of the water front is kind of a ghost town on weekends, this place was packed and we opted for to-go. They do offer metal straws for here. Oh and their logo is pretty cool.

Continues to be my favorite coffee shop in Portland! It is a great place to get work done with plenty of seating and charging ports. It's fairly quiet! I always get an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it's made very quickly! The staff is so friendly and kind, it is always nice to interact with them. There are also two bathrooms which is super convenient!! 10/10 recommend

Well with 100 5 stars reviews and Portland flooded with coffee places I had to try this place out. I will say so far it's Really good! Will update later when I finish this delicious flapjack coffee and write something more detailed :) Also the fudge brownie is incredible.

Got the chai latte, and it was super delicious! Super flavorful and none of that watered down stuff most places serve. Interior is minimalist and seems like a good place to get work done. Baristas are super friendly and also welcome dogs!

First time at a vegan coffee shop! Not certain I'm ready for substitutes like the cashew cream cheese, but the Panama pour-over (recommendation) was excellent. The staff was very friendly and even delivered the drinks/food to my table. Good internet and workspace (albeit small). Only issue I foresee is that it can get extremely bright and sunny -- some shades may be helpful.

Nicely lit coffee shop with many seating areas and free WiFi! Tried their matcha latte with soy milk, and my god, it was delicious. I almost inhaled all of it on the first taste. My fiancé got the mocha late, which I thought was a bit too bitter, but he liked it. Also got a blueberry muffin to snack on, and it was really tasty! It had a nice crisp bite and had some oats with a hint of cinnamon? Maybe? Whatever it was, it tasted good! I would definitely come back for that matcha latte alone...

Tried Oracle for the first time today after moving to South Waterfront. I tried their recent special, Salted Caramel Latte and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff notified me that they sprinkled a little bit of salt at the top, which I found to be very tasteful. I think this might be the best Caramel Latte I've had in a while. They also have a variety of pastries. I would definitely recommend checking this place out! Oracle has also taken measures to be COVID-19 caution. You can order at the door and there is a chip reader to pay for your items. Safe and efficient!
