Review is based on Saturday brunch with three other friends.
The good - The food was really decent. I got the Anchor breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and I subbed fruit. Really healthy portion and the eggs were seasoned perfectly. The toast came out weirdly toasted (1/2 toasted, 1/2 untouched), but I wasn't in it for the bread, so didn't really mind. My friend got the Crab BALT, which she said was great. Our other friend got the Chicken and Waffles, which looked amazing.
The bad - Service. Ugh. Our waiter left empty water glasses on our table for 10 minutes, after we asked for refills. He brought coffee, but without spoons, cream, or sugar. It took him another 10 minutes to get the cream and sugar. We asked for straws for our water when we first sat down and he came back 5 minutes later to ask if we knew what we wanted, sans straws. Overall, it was laughable at how bad it was. We ended up talking to the manager who took a % off of our bill, but the waiter still barely showed his face.
I appreciated the manager trying to make it up to our group for the bad service, but I probably won't be back.
