"Lines form early for the fresh pastries and donuts at Buxton’s Orange Blossom Bakery & Cafe. The menu changes but often includes cheese Danishes, spice raisin bread, walnut sticky buns, and cinnamon rolls. The real draw here, though, is the “uglies,” in particular the apple uglies — pastry dough and spiced apples are twisted into knots, baked, and glazed in enormous quantities." - Matt Lardie

🍊🌸 Orange Blossom Bakery in Hatteras is a must-visit! But a little tip: get there early because they sell out quickly! Their pastries are phenomenal! The fried pies are to die for – I absolutely loved their fried cherry pie. 🍒 🥧 The cinnamon rolls are delicious, and of course, you can't miss the massive Apple Ugly, which is an incredible apple fritter. 🍏😋 Everything you buy here is delicious, including the breakfast sandwiches, so good! 🥪✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - A Must-Visit on the Outer Banks! If you find yourself on the Outer Banks, a trip to Orange Blossom Bakery & Cafe in Buxton is an absolute must! Here's why this gem deserves every one of its 5 stars: - Apple Uglies: These are not just treats; they're an experience. Imagine the perfect blend of warmth, softness, and chewiness, combined with a homemade apple filling that bursts with flavor. They're gigantic, satisfying, and utterly unforgettable. - Cinnamon Rolls: Forget what you know about cinnamon rolls from anywhere else, including Cinnabon. Orange Blossom's version is a revelation—soft, gooey, with the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness. They're in a league of their own. - Ambiance: The bakery boasts a delightful retro vibe that makes you feel both nostalgic and cozy. It's like stepping into a beloved eatery from decades past, yet it's vibrant and bustling with life. - Staff: The service here matches the quality of their baked goods. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere of the cafe. - Popularity: Be prepared to join a line, but trust me, it's worth the wait. The popularity of Orange Blossom is a testament to their exceptional offerings. Getting there early is wise if you want to ensure you don't miss out on their daily specialties. In summary, Orange Blossom Bakery & Cafe isn't just a place to grab a bite; it's a highlight of any OBX visit. Whether you're a local or a tourist, make sure to stop by for what might just be the best sweet treat you'll ever have. Their apple uglies alone are worth the trip!

Fabulous Bakery, obviously known for the $6 Apple Uglies, but apparently, they make magnificent breakfast sandwiches and other pastries as well. No line, very fair prices, adorable patio, clean, and delicious. Employees are super friendly and happy to be there, but who wouldn't be getting to smell that all day? An absolute must stop when you're in Hatteras/Buxton. I will be dreaming about that Apple Ugly.

I've been getting donuts and apple uglies from here for the last 35 years or longer, still taste the best. The lines can be long but they move them pretty quickly.. if you haven't tried orange blossom you need to, you will be hooked as we all are.

Went to Orange Blossom Cafe for Apple uglies this week. Line was long but moved quickly and staff was taking sandwich orders in the line. Croissant sandwiches were outstanding. The Apple Uglies were great as expected. We ordered 3 which was certainly too much food and we enjoyed them for a few days. Staff was delightful.

Food was good. Coffee😋👌. There was a wait during the breakfast time. They could improve the flavors of the burrito a bit but other than that I love everything that I tasted there.
