Living in an agrihood, an agriculture-focused suburb - Curbed
"Freehold’s Maddalon said they were already trying out different concepts in different areas: Orchard Ridge in North Austin has community gardens." - Patrick Sisson
Amazing community. Trails are amazing for hiking with kids or a quick walk to the pool or gym. Really awesome atmosphere and I couldn’t ask for a better group of neighbors here in the community everyone is nice and friendly.

Beautiful community located near Leander and Liberty hill in the Austin area. The houses are decently sized and the prices are good. **The only problem is a lack of supply of houses, there’s been so much demand in the Austin area for housing and apartments that it’s hard to find a house out here anymore. All the houses on Realtor.com and Zillow.com are either small and pricey or pending.

I've always liked this community. The hill country views when you drive into the neighborhood are really nice. They also have a very nice amenity center with a pool, playground and fitness center. There is even an outdoor fireplace that can be turned on easily.

With the 3 story tower and slide, it reminds me of the old rocket ships us old timers played on.

Beautiful unique community tucked in a little valley just on the edge of suburbia and the country. Homes are well cared for and there's a variety of builders and sizes available. Neighborhood is very active online and really looks out for one another and tries to do community events. Neighborhood has trails that cross the neighborhood, a lovely pool, amenity center, patio, playground, and a gym. Schools are LISD, the local elementary is 5 minutes away in neighboring Larkspur.

What a fantastic place to be! Old truck at front with big juicy peaches. Gardening section for community to right and left( hopefully that means residents care about taking care of themselves and the earth). The community center is very nice. Walking paths everywhere.

Yelp
I love my Community. This is exactly what I wanted when I moved here. Community activities are planned for different holidays and craft classes, Beautiful walking trails and pool.
If what you seek is a close -nit community this is it. The grounds are well maintained. HOA fees are low and seriously used for the good of the residents. A few different builders in the area. Mine is a Buffington and built well.

Yelp
Orchard Ridge continues to surpass my expectations. As some of the earliest homeowners in the community, we've had the opportunity to see our neighborhood truly blossom. I highly recommend anyone looking for a truly welcoming place to call home with tons of community activity, neighborly support, and best-in-class amenities to drive by and say hello to our friends and families in Orchard Ridge.

Yelp
As a homeowner in Orchard Ridge, I would not recommend this community. Freehold and CCMG made a lot of promises that have not been kept. The most recent is the destruction/construction in the greenbelt behind the homes on White Sage Ln. We were all promised that nothing would be built behind us. In order to squeeze in an extra lot, they have ripped out the trees and invaded our green belt. There will now be houses directly behind ours. We paid a large lot premium because we were promised a view and privacy behind our homes. This is only one of the many problems that shows that the developer is more interested in making money than the homeowners that have already bought from them. Save yourself the headache and don't move into to Orchard Ridge.

Yelp
Beautiful community! LOVE that there are actual orchards (peaches, pecans, and apples) and gardens (zucchini, lemons, tomatoes, blackberries) that once they're ripe, the community is able to pick them! Beautiful walking trails and community pool. Love the atmosphere- such a beautiful, outdoorsy, active community!
