Nice selection in small two story game shop in seven dials area. Great neighborhood and easy to locate. Selection of all the popular titles. Felt it was a bit expensive, but I usually shop in us and prices may be in line with London (about 95 usd for seti in 2025 for context). I don’t play war games but looked like a pretty good supply of titles.

Really lovely store especially if you’re looking for stuff for d&d, lots of books, miniatures and mini paints etc. the store is kinda small so it can be a bit of a squeeze but the service is lovely :-) i only wish they had more miniatures stocked on the shelves, and also they never seem to have any female minis! Idk if they’re just selling out quicker but i’d like to see more female minis in store :p

I'm in London a few times each year and I would always go to the Orc's Nest and buy something: I'd have been sad to see it gone so went out of my way to make a decent purchase each time. This time is the first time in maybe a decade that I've not bought something. I struggled to get the attention of the staff, who were having a loud and prolonged political debate, facing inwards and away from the counters to do so. When I did get a moment, I asked if a game was available. "Huh?" was the reply from the nearest of the three. I repeated the question. I got a shake of the head, a grunt and a shrug. I took this to mean "no," and left the shop, leaving behind the £69.99 backup choice I had made. They could easily have smiled, said "No, I'm sorry, I don't think so. But we do have game x that's in the same genre, that people love, can I get it for you to look at?" or something like that. I might not have bought it, but I would have bought *something* and would have made my regular pilgrimage, next time. Instead, I suppose that I'll order direct from the publisher next time, or from Amazon: they may be a faceless conglomerate but they've never shrugged at me and grunted with annoyance at being distracted from their opinionating. Edit: this was on Wednesday, late afternoon. The discussion was a long and very loud one on prison reform. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Best game store in Central London. Unfortunately that doesn't say much since the competition is lacking. I used to visit the store in the 90s, and today it is a bleak shadow of its early state. The venue today is industrial, cold and narrow.

Paid a visit recently and was not disappointed, such a great store with a great selection of products. The staff were very helpful and polite, store was rammed but well worth waiting to get round and see what was on offer. Was able to add a game to my collection I have been after for some time. If you in London certainly check out this gem of a store.

This cute little store has way more to offer than you would've imagined looking at it from the outside. tonnes of board games, miniatures and literature as well as accessories for all your pen and paper needs. staff is very helpful, but will leave you to it, if you aren't up for a conversation, which i appreciated a lot. =) if you can't find what you are looking for, they seemingly have a non ending selection of stuff behind the counter, so never hesitate to ask. also: i wanted a mystery set of dice, and there were only 2 bags left. the guy behind the counter chose the non-crinkled bag for me when i asked him to decide for me, and he must have a side gig as lucky charm, as they are just perfect. sharp copper dice with a sparkling blue inset. (see picture attached) they are my new favorite now! =) i will definitely return, whenever i'm back in london! =^.^=

Never been to a board games shop before and it was pretty cool. We got “Mysterium” and had a fun afternoon at home playing. Pretty cool experience

Let.....me...tell.... you, I randomly found this shop before going on my trip to London. I had been looking forward to visiting it so much and it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It's small but jam-packed with flavor! So many great games! And the people who work there, made the experience just as good! They were so nice and welcoming! Please forget any tourist traps and go to this shop! In the pics I gave some examples of games they have cause I really want them 😂
