First time visiting this funky coffee stop. Interior is bright and energetic like the coffee. Super friendly staff and plenty of seating inside. Definitely worth checking out.

Google
Order & Chaos located at 1410 Key Highway is a wonderful community-oriented coffee shop which offers great coffees and drinks along with a focused selection of rather tasty food sandwiches. The egg, sausage and cheese croissant sandwich was delicious. So was the strawberry-banana smoothie. I rate Oath & Chaos as a five 5.

Google
Came for the cold brew and was not disappointed. Seems like it’s actually brewed cold and not just an ice coffee (made by brewing hot coffee and then cooling it, and can be more bitter) The flavor was nice and not bitter. Enjoyed it with some half and half and will be coming back!

Google
It’s a very pleasant atmosphere with hot and quality food. The food was served quickly. We ordered fried dumplings which is yummy chicken noodles fried rice and lettuce wrap and boba tea. Except boba tea every thing tasted really good

Google
Cute spot and very friendly staff!! We ordered some food and there was a small mistake once we received it but the staff was super helpful and quick to make it right. Overall good vibe and great coffee/food!

Google
I really love this place. It was great to meet the manager and his team. Very friendly folks and made my first time a great experience. I LOVE the Walking Waffle it's a must try. I also had a salted caramel cappuccino. Tasty. No complaints. If you need a workspace and a cup of joe that inspires you to grind out your to do list this is a really great option!

Google
Despite not giving the typical coffee place look (the logo is v cutesy v mindful…) the espresso is some of the best period. I’m too used to going into a coffee place that “looks” the part and getting a watery excuse of a coffee in return. The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable and nice! (They actually know how to make a Cappuccino! And cortados!!!!) The menu has a whole load of options between food (could be better but the pastries are v good) teas and espresso drinks with a whole wall of syrups so if you have a sweet tooth, you’re bound to find a new flavor to try. Another incredible detail is..the..lids!!! Having to grab a couple of drinks and driving in a rush, the lids have saved me over and over again from spillage, both hot and cold! Something so small and overlooked by many other cafes is where Order and Chaos excels. All the care and attention put into this cafe makes this one of the best in Baltimore! The little notes on the lids are very very thoughtful and cool! Look forward to seeing what the next one says :)

Google
This place has some WONDERFUL baked goods! I highly recommend trying out their pastries, both savory and sweet. Admittedly, it is not my go-to spot for a beverage, they're worth the occasional visit for a treat while I'm on a long walk. I have purchased several at a time when friends are visiting from out-of-area. The baristas are always really friendly, too! They seem to be having fun while they work, which makes the experience nice.

Yelp
Stopped in on my way home from the science center to get my kid a waffle and water. I was overwhelmed by all the choices and options, especially the syrup menu. I wanted something more than just a plain latte. The barista was VERY helpful and told me the banana bread latte was a fall specialty drink that was made a regular menu item by popular demand, so obviously I had to try it. It was true to its name and delicious. My husband also loved his plain americano. Very smooth. My son also downed the waffle like it was his job. I was also very grateful to the barista that gave me a water cup with a lid rather than me buying a $5 water bottle. I will definitely be making this a snack stop after the science center every time. There is not a lot of seating from what I saw or parking that I noticed. Definitely a grab and go type of stop, but 100% worth the drive by!

Yelp
We visited here for coffee and light breakfast. The servers were ok but didn't go out of their way to help either. We ordered our food and hot beverages. I took our hot beverages outside, my friend said his coffee tasted watered down, my Chai latte was ok. I went in to check on our food, it was waiting on the counter for me - great service would have e been them bringing it outside where we sat. Nothing about our experience would make us want to return. Even the outside od the building looks boring. The inside ambiance was ok.

Yelp
Really cute little spot! The whole order and chaos theme is really well done and the coffee was good (I had a turmeric latte). I was a little surprised there were only two staff for a Saturday morning; service was a bit slow as a result (it wasn't jam packed either). I can't speak for the food because we just grabbed drinks, but overall it was a nice vibe and a fun place for a morning coffee.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
The people here are so kind!! I went here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy but it is such a cute spot. My bagel was delicious and very filling, my blueberry matcha was just okay, it felt like it was missing something but I might just be picky with my matcha. This is a place where I'd either walk to, but if you're visiting the BMI and have parked there, this is a good spot to grab a treat afterwards :)

Yelp
Great (quaint) space to work at with a few different tables, WiFi, outlets...and even a white board! Menu was fun and had seasonal offerings. I was a little bummed to have ordered one of those fun offerings to get what seemed to be a regular cappuccino but hey, at least the drink, in and of itself, was good! Was able to find street parking right outside easily ...but not sure if that varies based on day / time of day.

Yelp
Order and Chaos is located in a really cool spot connected to a design agency. It's not overly large though so not a good spot to work or anything - definitely a grab and go situation. I ordered an iced matcha with almond milk and it was really yummy! My friend and I also got a waffle to share. I was disappointed to see it was premade but they did warm it up. We went with the powdered sugar to keep it simple. It was okay. A little dry and maybe some other toppings would have helped it out like banana and Nutella but it should be good on its own. 10/10 would go back for coffee but wouldn't recommend the waffle.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my fave spots to grab lunch, read or get some work done on the mobile work station! Yummy food n drinks, try the banana latte.
google avatar

Lisa O.

Yelp
The barista was very very nice. It was clean and well organized space. The coffee was just ok. It grew on me the more I drank of it, but it was not anything special. I ordered a toasted bagel and received it untoasted so maybe he didn't hear me. Nonetheless, I was not super impressed with the bagel as it was more like bread than bagel, which is not my preference, and the cream cheese layer was very thin. I'm glad I tried it. It's very conveniently located on my way to work and it was easy to park and get in so I will probably give it another try.

Yelp
I come here almost weekly with my friend after our joint run. They do have a decent rewards program that you can sign up with your phone number when checking out and after 50 stars, you earn a free drink! Blood Orange Refresher 2/5, wasn't really sweet and didn't taste like blood orange?? a bit of a strange drink Iced Chai Latte w/ almond milk 3/5, as usual to Baltimore I do think this could be improved with more chai powder, the ratio of chai to milk is a off for my personal preference Strawberries and cream Matcha latte 4/5, this is a nice summery Matcha Latte variant and the strawberry addition does add sweetness to their more bitter matcha while still being in small enough quantities that you're able to taste the matcha in the background Black Cherry Iced Tea 2.5/5, this tasted very strongly of artificial cherry, reminiscent of cherry flavored medication Black Cherry Half and Half 3/5, I did enjoy that this tasted less artificial cherry flavored, but was overall a very sweet drink and felt too sweet for my taste

Yelp
Great seasonal coffees and friendly staff. Cool vibes and good music. Great place to relax or get a little off site work in.
google avatar

Adriana A.

Yelp
The waffles are to die for! They're so good. The staff is friendly, they have decent prices and the environment is clean and welcoming.

Yelp
Never been here before but I had a business meeting across the street and missed my morning coffee. Stopped in and I typically order a pour over, but noticed the Berries and Cream Seasonal Latte and had to give it a whirl. Got it in less than a few minutes and oh my gosh I am so happy I ordered this. It was incredibly delicious and left me wanting more. I'll happily return here next I'm in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool place to grab a coffee and breakfast. The chi tea was good, I'm not sure if it was because I went on a Sunday afternoon and the seating area was Empty prior to my arrival but the lights seem to be motion sensor. While I was enjoying my tea the lights shut off about 2-3 times which was a bit odd.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem that I wish I would have discovered sooner. Although I did not try much on their menu - only a matcha latte - it has been one of the best (if not THE best) I've had in Baltimore and makes me want to come back and try more things. The matcha latte + the friendliness of the staff + the chill and cute ambiance are absolutely enough to bring me back. It is a small seating area, however, and as a heads up, street parking can be a bit rough!

Yelp
Who doesn't love a flavored coffee? If you're into fun flavors in your drink, this is your spot. They have a long list of syrup options plus seasonal ones to try. I had the cinnamon bun iced latte which was good, but my friends toasted marshmallow latte was much better! Their merch is super cute and the shop staff was nice and helpful. They also have various milk options for the lactose intolerant like myself!
google avatar

Audrey S.

Yelp
I stopped by after breakfast at Home Maid. The space was clean. The baristas were quite busy and didn't take long getting drinks out to customers. I was overwhelmed by the menu of syrup options- too many choices for me. I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks. I ordered a brown sugar cold brew with maple cold foam. The drink was delicious. I was worried about it being too sweet but that wasn't the case at all.

Yelp
A great go-to coffee shop where you can drink, snack and work the day away. If you are someone like me who needs a bit of noise in the background and does better working alone but still has movement of others surrounding them--this is the perfect coffee shop for you. Noises from people typing, taking work calls, ordering coffee and the espresso machine all going at once is perfection. Their menu is legit, and their creativeness shows--we have had some of their seasonal drinks and all have been amazing. The bathrooms are clean, staff is kind, and the other patrons aren't obnoxious. Great vibe.

Bethany S.

Yelp
1 star because of the nasty employee- my food was good but my iced espresso had the smallest splash of oat milk possible, $1 for a millimeter added. I asked the girl working for a little more and she couldn't have given me more attitude. After tipping 20% on my already overpriced coffee, my day is now worse because of her. I won't be returning.

Yelp
It was a nice day... maybe one of the last nice weather weeks before the real fall weather hits, so I decided to work from this Coffee shop. The team here is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I'm a true Autumn queen so I ordered the Pumpkin Cheesecake Latte and the raspberry pastry. The latte was good, but not what I expected. I will be back to try their other selections. I sat in the outdoor sitting area.
google avatar

Shay F.

Yelp
This is such a cute cafe. Food/Drink: ~$17 -I ordered a 12oz iced latte with a shot of brown sugar syrup. I liked the coffee but I couldn't taste the brown sugar flavor shot. -I also ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich. It was delicious and hearty. I didn't finish it in one sitting. Experience: I enjoyed the friendly nature of the staff and the indoor and outdoor seating. I also saw a flyer for an upcoming, small business pop up. I like that they are using their space to connect with the broader community. Several groups of people came in that seemed to be regulars so I got the impression that it's a local favorite within Fed Hill. It was clean, had good background music and a modern design aesthetic.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop near my house. I always go here when I am in the mood to walk and get coffee. It was my go to coffee shop during Covid when I didn't have any coffee in my house. This is also my go to place in December where I write my Christmas cards. Their coffee is always good and not too strong. I like the Belgian waffle that my friend recommended. The people behind the counter have always been nice.

Yelp
After visiting the American Visionary At Museum, we stopped at Order and Chaos Coffee on our way back to Washington, D.C. It's a very cool looking coffee shop in an industrial part of town with indoor and outdoor seating. They have pastries, food and a full coffee menu. My hazelnut latte was good and my wife enjoyed her iced turmeric latte (perfect for those who don't want caffeine in the afternoon). Despite being busy, our drinks were ready within five minutes!

Yelp
This place is just OK. I ordered a tasty turkey sandwich which comes on your choice of bagel. I was kind of disappointed because the bagel was not toasted. I think toasting the bagel would have elevated the entire sandwich. The bagel comes with an assortment of tomato, carrot, cucumber, and red onion. It also has cream cheese, and of course the turkey. Despite all of these components, the sandwich was surprisingly bland! I also ordered a drip coffee with hazelnut syrup. This was probably the most disappointing part about my meal. The coffee came out to me lukewarm. I'm not sure why a coffee place would serve lukewarm coffee, but here we have it! Would I send $13 again for this meal? Probably not. I will say that the ambience is pretty nice, and the service was helpful. The food and the drinks are just OK.

Yelp
I was looking forward to checking out this place after following them on Instagram for a while. It was very disappointing from the second we walked in. No greeting from a short dark haired female worker who made eye contact and then continued to look at the floor. Walked up closer to her, and still no acknowledgement. Walked to the register where a blonde young man stood, looking down the whole time, no eye contact, no greeting. This was on 1/4/22 at around 1pm. 3 female customers walked in shortly after us, and they also were not greeted. We got the chicken waffle which was fairly good. We ordered a large vanilla lavender latte and a honey lavender latte - which were unexpectedly very bland and had a good amount of coffee grinds in both cups. They could've greeted us "Thank you for coming in" and would've made a better experience, but nothing. Lost our future interest and business.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and a cute shop. Stopped here for a coffee and bagel and enjoyed the special lattes. We had an everything bagel and the special latte of the month, praline. There are plenty of seats in the back and a couple in the front. The staff was friendly and helpful and the shop had lots of cute merchandise. I also loved the coffee cups with the chaos definition.
google avatar

Yelp
First time here, friendly staff knowledgeable about their items and will recommend good stuff. Atmosphere is calm and cozy. Coffee cake was delicious. Definitely a great local spot!!!! Food is made fresh. Good to see a mix crowd in city coffee shop!!!
google avatar

Brooke A.

Yelp
Seasonal fall latte was decent but Chai Latte tasted only like warm milk.such a cute environment but coffee was not worth the long line
google avatar

Tyler C.

Yelp
Across from the Museum of Industry on Key Highway. Interesting flavors. Small choice of food for breakfast. And menu by QR code and abbreviated list on the wall. The waffle was excellent. Fresh, sweet and just a bit doughy. The coffee was expensive and Undrinkable. $4.5 for a cup of toasted marshmallow coffee with overly curdled milk. I was told that the flavors can curdle (its acidic), and I tried to drink it. But I'm not a big fan of chewy coffee which was hard to drink. No flavor of toasted marshmallow. It is order and chaos, guess I got the chaos today. Next time I think I will go or the tea.

Yelp
Coffee is somewhat challenging to mess up for me. I'm simple, just regular coffee with cream and sugar, and I got what I requested with no issues.
google avatar

Renee R.

Yelp
4 stars go to coffee, environment to sit, cool products to buy and clean spot to hang out -4 stars for all the staff they are some grumpy a holes yes I said it and I hope u read it. Ur coffee is dope but ur attitudes are whack and unwelcoming. Definitely not morning ppl. We're from New York and even our baristas are mad chill and happy to be where they are.
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely love order and chaos! I'm here weekly and have been for the past few months as I finish my dissertation. Since Misa has become GM, I'm even more obsessed. His service has always been top tier, but the actual vibes and drink quality are off the chain (in a good way) now! Love this new sitting area and it's always such a great place to get work done with great music. The space makes me feel super creative and I can always find seating! So I usually sit here for hours. Tuesdays are my favorite day because it's "fresh bagel delivery day". I'm especially loving the new fall drink flavor!!! (Cinnamon bun) Can't believe I'm just getting around to writing a review but it just dawned on me that I should probably share how awesome this place is for entrepreneurs and creatives!
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Always a fan of their walking waffle. The perfect thickness, not too doughy, has a hint of sweetness alone but so much better with Nutella. Their seasonal drinks are delicious too. Don't forget to join their rewards program!

Yelp
Decent study spot! I loved the bright interior with the large windows + the colorful, urban utilitarian design accented with succulents placed around the cafe. Also, liked the fun vibe and theme! There are tables right near the counter but also in the back upstairs area (6 2-person round tables and one tall long table which could be used as a standing desk!), as well as outdoor seating. The only thing is that on a Sunday afternoon, there were quite a few people studying here so I was slightly worried I wouldn't find a spot. Background music is not too loud but the proximity to others (the tables are not super spaced out) who are talking could be distracting. Outlets are along the walls mostly so when you are in need, you might have to relocate but otherwise the outlets are abundant. Good wifi as well. I only got the drip coffee this time, which was solid, but their menu seems to have various interesting drinks that I would like to try next time! Their staff also were very nice. They were having trouble with their payment machine (which wouldn't accept our gift card and ended up double charging us) but they were so apologetic and did their best to make our experience better. Tips: Street parking around - 2 hour limit and paid parking Mon-Sat until 6pm.

Yelp
one of the best coffee shops in Baltimore. right off key hwy its easy to get to. the service here is excellent and they have ample space to enjoy your drink and chill. The coffee is flavorful and their drinks selections are super creative and delicious.the cinnamon bun latte is legit a flavor bomb awesomeness. it is one of my go to coffee places in baltimore.

Yelp
We had been wanting to come here as we passed a few times and it looked so darn cute. My Chai smelled amazing and that's where the good experience ends. Well.. it's cute but the service all around was subpar. We waited in line while one of the two baristas talked to the couple in front of us who had already ordered about fasting, etc. All good. I understand people like to share what they know and I'm a HUGE fan of the intimacy of a coffee shop. About the time I started tapping my foot from waiting for 5+ minutes of "chatting" and was about to ask my boyfriend if we could leave, one of the baristas asked if we were ready. We waited patiently for our drinks, checking out the marketing firms media next door. We went outside and I got my "Insta worthy" pic. My boyfriends drink kept spilling and then I remembered hearing the barista remind the other to add en extra shot. Well what they did was fill the cup completely to brim and slapped a lid on. He went to take the lid off before we got in the car and coffee came flowing out burning his hands. Had they made it with the 3 shots to begin with they wouldn't have had to overfill the cup causing it to spill over and burn him. When we got home 20 minutes later his coffee was still scalding hot. He had to put ice in what was left and NO we didn't have stoppers to keep the heat in. Mine was luke warm. I have no idea how hot his drink really was to begin with but it must've been extremely hot. At best, we are unimpressed and concerned about the lack of care. The service was already horrible so this was just icing on the stale cake. I'm more annoyed than anything because I had been wanting come here for over a year since I moved back to the area. Won't be coming back.

Yelp
Been coming here for a while; they're a cute little shop with nice monthly flavors! Good quality coffee and great to bring friends. They have many flavor options from fruity flavors to nutty, caramel, or holiday themed ones.

Isabel T.

Yelp
We ordered breakfast sandwiches, an earl grey scone, a peach cobbler latte and a cherry cheesecake latte. Expensive milk substitute ($1). Sandwiches were subpar. Scone: pretty good to me, but my friend has unrealistic expectations grounded in The Great British Baking Show. Lattes: syrupy aftertaste, with the peach cobbler latte a sickly sweet. Strangely enough, the lattes both tasted nearly identical. My friend noted that the front room was dirty (uncleaned tables, leaves trekked in from inside), but the back room is a good study spot. Another plus: the workers were really friendly and funny.
google avatar

Hazel C.

Yelp
Chaos and coffee is a chic cozy joint. It serves an array of coffee options that will please serious coffee lover or those like me who enjoy a simple latte. The staff was very friendly and the environment was very clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Street parking or a nice spot to walk to if you're staying nearby. You can order ahead with mobile pick up as well. The chai tea is a hit!

Yelp
Love this place. I've been coming here to study every now and then and it's a great spot. There's a ton of seats, wifi, and amazing drinks to keep me fueled! I love that they change up their drinks, because as much as I love an espresso or a black coffee, it's nice to have other options. Their summer drink menu is great--I've tried the peachy keen and it's delicious...I love the little chunks of peach in it and it's really not too sweet. I hope to try the matcha fizz as well. The other seasonal drink I've had was like a rose beet latte which was also delicious. The iced coffee here is also great. I've also ordered the waffle. It's a liege styled belgian waffle which I am a sucker for. The waffle is pretty good, but I've had better liege waffles. I think I just miss a little bit of the caramelization I get on other ones that I've had, but nevertheless, it's still pretty good. The syrup that it comes with is also the high-fructose corn syrup stuff so if you're looking for real maple syrup, I would skip it. Overall, a great place with delicious and creative drinks. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area!

Kate S.

Yelp
Epic fail of a visit. - No social distancing markers for the order queue - Monotone, apathetic cashier - Ordered a strawberry puff, realized she bagged a blueberry one once we got to the car - Alternative milk options not listed - Asked for oat, received whole - Asked for iced, received hot - They ask for your name, but don't call out your name at the pickup. Do you know how many people order iced lattes? Lots of confusion. Overall, $30 wasted. Immediately drove over to Aveley Roasters and tossed the Order & Chaos drink in the trash.

Yelp
The Chai Latte is everything I tell you! Everything! I love this little shop so much. From the drinks to the decor, atmosphere, and staff to the location. Friendly service goes a long way and this place has it. I'm looking forward to my next Baltimore trip because Order & Chaos is definitely going to be a part of it. Again, that latte was everything!!!

Yelp
I've been wanting to come to this place since the Grand Opening a little over a year ago and it's been so difficult to get here! I live so far in and I don't have much business down in this area but the one time I did, I used that opportunity to finally visit this place and I'm so happy that I did! I just ate brunch nearby with a girlfriend and decided I wanted to stop in here and see what all the hoopla was about! My girlfriend and I came in and ordered a green tea (Jade something) lavender latte was everything and more! It's definitely in my top 3 if not top 2! I'm being really modest right now! The staff is kind of melancholy, but the environment is perfect! We were able to sit down at a table for 2 and chat for hours! Literally hours! I think this place is brings out the best in people w the simple yet pleasant decor! I'm definitely looking forward to returning back to try some other hot beverage flavors as well as the tea! Finally trying this place and knowing now what I didn't know before, I'm going to make it my business to visit this place more often! It's a great space for working and people watching his well! O, and they have outdoor seating too! #WinWin

Yelp
This coffee shop is a hidden gem on Key Highway. It has so many different flavors available to add to your coffee. You can choose anything from a Cortado to an Americano. Not a coffee fan? They have some great smoothies available as well. I ordered a Toffee-flavored hot latte and a Berry Smoothie. The latte was great! Just the right amount of sweetness and the toffee flavoring was not overpowering. The Berry smoothie (also available in Mango) was soooo good!! It was very refreshing and almost reminded my of an Italian ice. I had also ordered the Pesto-Prosciutto puff pastry which was a bit on the saltier end, but still very tasty!

Yelp
I spent the morning walking around & exploring the hidden gems of Fed Hill. It's crazy to think I've lived here for 4 years and I'm just now trying Order & Chaos' coffee for the first time! They had so many fun specialty drinks to try. It was so hard to choose. Fireside Latte - notes of orange, cloves, vanilla & cinnamon, espresso, milk Almond Joy Latte - house-made chocolate, coconut & almond syrup, espresso, milk Aztec Cocoa - Mexican hot chocolate; notes of cinnamon, NelaNature panela & mild chili spice, milk Creme Brûlée Latte - notes of caramel, vanilla & eggnog, espresso, milk Maple Cinnamon Latte - maple syrup, cinnamon, espresso, milk I got the Fireside Latte. It was like no latte I have ever had before, but I was about it. I need to go back and try more!

Yelp
Such a quaint stop for coffee and light fare. Nice staff. I'd give them a 4 if they used paper straws, but sadly they don't.

Yelp
I love going out and trying different coffee places. Order and chaos coffee always shows up on top/best coffee places in Baltimore. I decided to try it out and drive it one weekend. I usually always try lattes first at any coffee place. This is one of my coffee lover friends habits that I have stolen.....borrowed. Parking might be a little hard to find by the way. There is street parking but there usually aren't many open spots. You do have to pay and put a slip in your car. If there aren't any spots left, you can take your chances and park in the neighborhood. Also, this place seems to be in an office building. They have a glass interior where you can see a workplace but I'm not sure what company it is. Now back to order and chaos coffee! Like I stated before, I ordered a latte to go. They do have many bakery items but I haven't tried any yet. The latte was pretty good. Better than most I've had in Baltimore. There was no latte art in mine but I never cared for such a thing. If you're in the area getting food, you should stop by and get some coffee!
google avatar

Breanne S.

Yelp
The only complaint I have is that the walking waffle shouldn't be called a walking waffle because it's entirely too messy to walk with and eat. Other than that the flavor of both the waffle and coffee were amazing!
google avatar

Ana B.

Yelp
I came in looking to have a cup of coffee before going to the Visionary Museum, instead I found a great cup of latte, perhaps one of the best i ever had. The waffle and breakfast sandwich were also delicious, the cold brew was not as good

Yelp
I visited on a Sunday afternoon as I waited for my time at a nearby restaurant. I enjoyed my experience. Inside is nice and welcomes a couple customers at a time, there was no line when I visited. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered the cinnamon maple latte. I loved it! They have a few outdoor tables that can be used during a visit. Parking is a bit limited in this area. But you can try neighborhood parking or the lot across the street. I would recommend for a nice cup of coffee. I definitely want to stop back to try other flavors.
