These Portland Restaurants, Bars, and Breweries Are Raising Money to Help Ukrainians | Eater Portland

"I can double my donation to Mercy Corps by donating 10-cent redeemable bottles and cans through Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative’s BottleDrop program; OBRC is donating $25,000 and is matching any donations made by Oregonians at bottle deposit centers. When I drop off cans and bottles at redemption centers around the state I can tell the center to donate the money from my redemption, and those who use BottleDrop can also donate their balance online." - Nathan Williams

The bottledrop system is absolute trash. The idea that your company cannot figure out how to allow a ticket printed at an Albertsons to be used at a Fred Meyer when both companies accept the same system is sheer ineptitude and I wouldn't wish this system on anyone in the country

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative - Clackamas, I must say, you've earned this one-star review. Your phone system is a nightmare. When attempting to call for pick up, it feels like a never-ending maze of automated voicemail systems. Nobody ever picks up, and forget about receiving a call back. It's frustrating and leaves customers feeling unheard and unattended to. As for the service itself, it's nothing short of disappointing. Wet recycled trash? That's a serious letdown. If you happen to have newer equipment, it seems this service is not tailored to handle it properly. It's a shame that such an essential service falls so short. I cannot in good conscience recommend picking up services from Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative - Clackamas. It's simply not worth the hassle and disappointment. Sincerely, Jaeden Childers.

1st thing the Milwaukie redemption site can't get a consistent count for the cans and bottles, so it was suggested that I take the returns to New Seasons, which is CONSISTENTLY full requiring multiple trips to deposit the returns. Who is responsible for this organization?
