Oregonians Must Wear Masks in Restaurants and Bars Starting August 13 | Eater Portland

"The state plans to enforce the new mask requirements using the same tools as before, including Oregon’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which is described as bad news for food service workers who previously carried much of the burden of enforcing mask mandates within businesses despite facing volatile, mask-resistant customers." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Don't waste your time. Don't call federal OSHA either, they'd just point you back to Oregon OSHA. Quitting, moving on, and hoping nobody you care about gets hurt or dies is a crummy option. Is the way things seem to go here.

Received a call from a woman with a VERY thick Russian accent who called me by the wrong name. She was trying to get organized during her call. She asked what my complaint was (she called ME!) and I told her I wasnt telling her until she at least had my name right. After figuring it out during the 1st part of our conversation, she proceeded to tell me the business I worked for "was perfectly in compliance." I asked her 3x about my other potential health complaint. She was getting it. So, I asked her if I could speak to someone who would understand me. "There is no one else." " if I cant understand you, no one can." After trying to explain the health/safety problem one more time, she started interrupting me and I hung up. The whole time her attitude was SHE was right, I was wrong. She didnt even have my name correct!! GREAT JOB OSHA VERY PROFESSIONAL.I HOPE PEOPLE DONT GET SICK. Now Im convinced you're just another corrupt gov agency.
