The 14 Best Restaurants In Brickell - Miami - The Infatuation

"Technically, Oriental Bakery falls outside Brickell’s official border—but only by, like, 200 yards. Plus, this Middle Eastern market/restaurant (which specializes in Syrian, Greek, and Armenian foods) is casual, affordable, and very tasty. All of those things are rare in Brickell, so it’s a good place to have in your rotation. You can grab a bag of meat pies, a great za’atar flatbread, or an excellent baklava to-go. But they also have a few tables where you can sit down and enjoy a solid falafel sandwich, shawarma platter, hummus, kibbeh, and more—all for around $10." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

9 Great Middle Eastern Markets In Miami

"This is another market/restaurant hybrid, which specializes in Syrian, Greek, and Armenian foods. It’s quick, affordable, and very tasty. Like the name implies, it’s a bakery and grocery store selling food and pantry items. You can grab a bag of meat pies, a great za'atar flatbread, or what’s quite possibly Miami’s best baklava. But they also have a few tables where you can sit down and enjoy a solid falafel sandwich, shawarma platter, hummus, kibbeh, and bright orange syrupy knafeh—all for about $10." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer

"This bakery and market has been operating on Coral Way since the 1950s, selling Syrian, Greek, Armenian, and more Middle Eastern foods and baked goods. Google
Down-to-earth place for mediterranean food. I particularly enjoy the grape leaves with generous portions. The meat and hummus are amazing too. There are some seats in the shop as well but takeout is quite a good experience. There are plenty of choices for the main dishes and there are many Turkish sweets to try as well. Will be back when I visit the area again.

Google
Have been coming here for 20 years. Family owned business with great people, one of the best shawarma sandwiches in town and a huge selection of middle eastern groceries and treats. I live in nyc now but make sure to stop by whenever I’m in town. Highly recommend.

Google
This has become my go-to for a quick super casual lunch. I tried their rotating specials; the staff are very friendly and treat you like family. Tbh I feel very lucky to be working right across from this place. And don't be afraid to try their hot habanero sauce, it has helped me stay awake after many lunches. If I'm feeling fancy I finish up with a dessert(turkish delight/Kunefah/Bakalava are great options)

Google
Nice, friendly, welcoming owners. You can find Middle East and Turkish products there. They also have the part of the store as a restaurant, the food they have is fresh middle east food but some of them taste exactly the same like Turkish food(Stuffing pepper, grape leaves, rice, red lentil soup). We ate two plate and got full very easily and the price we paid for two plates was less than 30$.

Google
We LOVE this place!! The food is to die for, very fresh and plentiful for the price. The hot sauce is no joke and will knock you on your butt - do be careful. The shawarma is flavorful. The baba ganoush particularly stands out with a nice roasted flavor. The pickles are a nice addition. Has a very family vibe. Also the carry sour cherry juice which is a rare find. They also have friend pastries including a pistachio baclava that's to die for. Love love love.

If you’re looking for authentic mom and pops type of Mediterranean home cooking, this is the place. I’ve used them for take-out for events and it’s always a hit. The staff is also great (friendly) and never a bad choice. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Google
Interesting store/restaurant. I saw this place from across the street and it sparked a curiosity and so I came. The store is located at a corner of a street so you can not miss it. This store has it's own parking garage. It's not very big. It's located right behind the store. There is some street parking also. I saw interesting things here. This place has big barrels of olives and diferent kinds of feta cheese. I saw so many different things here that I want to try . As you first walk in to the right they have a dessert counter. Everything looks so yummy. I had not seen dessert like this before and so I bought some. Phyllo dough in most of the desserts here and a sweet honey like syrup. What I had tasted great. It had a good crunch that comes from a fresh pastry. I liked it. I liked the taste and adventure of it. The back of the store has a small restaurant. The menu is limited. There are some tables and chairs for dining in. I saw some yummy things behind the counter. I wish it had a sign with the name of what it was. I ordered the lamb kabobs. It comes as a dinner with 2 sides or just alone. They cooked it to my taste. It was very good. It tasted great I enjoyed it. I bought the pita bread. This pita had a type of topping to it like herb like. I don't know what it was but it tasted diferent good. The workers here where friendly and helpful. I had a good food adventure today and finding this place made my day.

Yelp
What a gem! International market with lots of Greek, Turkish, Arab and middle eastern products. They have a little restaurant with gyros and Arab/Mediterranean food. Everything feels home made. The owner even makes coffee (Cuban style) and walks around giving some to all patrons. Place is clean, with narrow isles that makes you feel as if you re in another country. Definitely a must to check out

Yelp
Hole in the wall grocery shop with a variety of middle eastern seasoning, rice, canned pickles, cookies, and more. In the back there is a restaurant that sells plates of falafel, hummus, and meat. There you could also find frozen food imported from the Middle East. In the front, you can find a variety of cheese and desserts like baklava. My personal favorite are the pistachio, walnut and cashew baklava.

Yelp
If you like lamb shank, I recommend you come on fridays for the special, huge plate, enough for 2. Great middle eastern food at reasonable price. Great neighborhood gem

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Food is amazing. Staff is friendly. This is a hidden gem in Miami. It's like a middle eastern grocery store met an old school diner and they decided to get married- And they seem to be living happily ever after. I've eaten here a few times now and always done take out so my pictures probably don't do the food justice. The chicken kabobs are made to order and are tender flavorful and a good size. The Baba ghanoush is my favorite side. I'd order extra pickles- great pairing. The beef/ lamb gryos is on point. Prices are also super reasonable. This has become my go to spot for just really good food that always delivers and hits the mark. This place has the feel of a joint that Guy Fieri & DDD would venture in to so it's worth a try.

Yelp
Love the feta cheese selection. The place has so many different types of mediterenian options. The french feta is so yummy
google avatar

Yelp
Best baklava in town. I randomly stopped in for a mid-day snack and tried three different kinds of Baklava. They were packed with flavor and made with heart. Will be back to try a full meal soon.

Yelp
My first time. This store has a big arrangement of products and olives. This is an interesting place to visit. I walked around and noticed the desserts counter. Everything looked good. I bought a few of them. I don't know the name to what I ordered but it was good. It tasted freshly made. The store towards the bag has a little restaurant with tables and chairs. the menu is limited but the locals speak highly of the food here. I ordered the lamb kabobs. It was good. I enjoyed it. I also bought a pita. That was also good and tasted fresh. The worker behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. This store was a great fund for me . The store has it's own parking lot. It is right behind the store. This store is easy to spot it's located on a corner and has a good size sign

Yelp
Love this gem which has been around for decades! Great prices and very fresh food compared to other local spots.

Yelp
My favorite middle eastern restaurant in miami. I got a falafel sandwich that was delicious. I also got a side of stuffed cabbage stuffed grape leaves and stuffed arrichokes. The stuffed artichoke hearts were interesting, i havent had these at a middle eastern place, before, they were stuffed with ground beef i think and were tasty. The stuffed cabbage was ok but the stuffed grape leaves were delicious, they tasted unique and you can gell theh were homemade, they had rice and spices inside i dont remember if there was meat. The green hot chili sauce was super delicious and hot too, it tasted a little like the indian pickles . I wanna come back and try the lamb shwarma, hummus and nany other things. Ita inside of a market where you can buy all kinds of great middle eastern products. Prices are very good too. Highly recommended to anyone who likes middle eastern food when youre in miami.

Emsley B.

Yelp
The food is superb. Vegan here, former vegetarian. My friend introduced me to the falafel sandwich here with a cucumber, tomato, tahini dressing that is delicious, served with pickles. Yum. The hummus is the best I've had (including my own homemade) and had a sprinkle of paprika and olive oil. Beautiful array of Middle Eastern groceries, fresh baked goods, barrels of olives and home cooked food. For vegetarians the choices of Feta cheese has to be the most I've seen in one place. The prices are very fair. I spoke with the two people working at the time and they were both friendly and kind. I will be back.

Yelp
Value. Value. Value. I haven't had this much food in Brickell adjacent (The Roads) for $8.99, like ever. As I'm typing this review I'm in bed at 12:35pm for a nap, because that's how much food was on my shawarma plate. The plate comes with two sides, pita, and two pickles? There was close to a pound of meat and I think I tasted some cardamom, because it had a sweat aftertaste, ever so slightly. The hot sauce and hummus played well with one another. The only downside was how the meat was warmed up in the microwave. Plenty of parking out back.

Yelp
Love this place they have anything you need ! And the staff is always friendly. The food is amazing they have an amazing garlic dip so yummy !

Yelp
Just go. You won't regret it. Authentic to the bone. I always buy pastries etc from here when needing food for presentations. Everyone loves what I bring.

Yelp
Large middle eastern grocery store. (yes, this is middle eastern, NOT asian-the title of the store is a bit confusing). Lots of bakery items, canned items, and open bins of nuts, dried fruit, etc. they also have a small kitchen area where they cook middle eastern specialties. Small, casual dining area inside (not fancy!), or you can get take out. They are friendly and helpful. Parking behind building. We stop there to stock up whenever we visit Miami.
google avatar

Yelp
Living in The Roads is amazing as I have everything in walking distance: Brickell, Little Havana and all of its restaurants, stores and cultures. My friend had middle eastern guests and they told me about "The falafel shop" so I had to check this out. Very friendly staff, welcoming and assisting. I took a stroll through the store and then put my order. I had a list of items I wanted so the lady made up as I asked, I didn't pick from the menu. I asked for hummus, chick peas, tabouleh, lamb gyro (I normally don't like meat but this is a childhood memory), variety of grape leaf rolls, and lentil soup. At the front desk I also got some baklava. I enjoyed everything. Total for all this was just under $29.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite lunch spots for good Lebanese /Mediterranean food. They have a different lunch special every day plus the everyday selection of homemade hummus, baba-ghanoush, shawarma, tzatziki and all kinds of dessert pastries. Yes this is a grocery market where you can also buy all of your supplies to cook at home. Family owned and operated with a friendly staff that makes you feel like home.

Yelp
A magnificent treasure trove is what you've found when you venture into this unassuming bakery and store! Let's start off with the case of sweets - fresh and absolutely delicious!! Pistachio, walnut, or pecan flaky layers of sweet goodness - this is the perfect spot to get an asssortment before heading to a house party or if you want to just indulge in some sweetness solo. Sigh, cravings are REAL! They also have a hot bar with shawarma, falafel, kebabs, you name it. They sell fresh hummus and baba ghanoush by weight along with freshly fried pita chips! Great spot to grab takeout for lunch or dinner! Now the market has a large variety of packaged goods that are fun to explore. Most recently I was introduced to Sucuck - a sausage that is delightful as part of a charcuterie board or fried up alongside some eggs... they have hot and mild varietals here. Really enjoy the food and the sweets at this local gem and have been pleasantly surprised when I've ventured out to try new things from the market! Check them out!

Yelp
The falafel sandwich tho Also the spinach triangles! Everything is homemade and family owned. Great selection of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean imports / grocery selection. You can buy Turkish delights & Nutella too! #ShopLocal with this family owned & friendly business that has held down The Roads for decades. Peace.

Yelp
I sometimes have to camp out around this area, and one of my favorite go to for vegetarian fare is Oriental Bakery. I normally come here for vegetarian kibbeh, vegetarian grape leaves, falafel, hummus, soups, etc. It is priced moderately and the food is pretty good. Now, this is primarily a grocery store with mostly Middle Eastern goods. Here you can find lots of canned goods, cookies, pastries, dried beans, rice, bottled goods, etc. Then, you have the bakery part, which basically is rows of breads, sweet breads, baklava, etc. I seldom buy baklava but I have tried them and they are good. There is also a side room with household goods, pipes, decorations, etc. It is a well rounded grocery store overall. Of course, I don't come to here for groceries. I come here for the hot food, as I stated above. I sometimes pick up, and I sometimes sit down. There are a few tables, and there is always people eating here. Around the tables you find fridges with imported sodas, juices, and drinks. Like I said before, I normally get the vegetarian stuff. I love the lentil soup, with pita bread and some homemade hot sauce (ask for it!). I also get the falafel with rice/lentils and salad/tabbouleh. And the hummus is awesome. All this with many imported sodas to wash down your food. You will love this place. Finally, this place is open on Sundays, and they have hot food even on Sundays. I don't know why I feel compelled to tell you this, but they have food on Sundays. By the way, there is a small parking area in the back. The street is metered, probably never enforced, but why pay for something that is free. OK then...

Yelp
Amazing lunch spot in Brickell. Family owned business and they are EXTREMELY nice! Food is delicious and priced fair. Great little market to find unique Mediterranean food. This is seriously a hidden gem and I'm so glad to have found it!
google avatar

Cassie P.

Yelp
Such a cool spot in my new hood. Whenever I want a quick, affordable and tasty lunch, I head here. The falafel platter lasts me two days (as long as I can show some restraint). On the side, I usually get hummus, baba ganoush, or the cucumber and tomato salad. Warm pita, hot sauce and pickles are also a must. The market itself is super international and I love wandering around to see what I can find. If you're a baklava fan, it's really delicious here and hard to resist when you're checking out. Service is friendly and fast. I'll definitely continue to frequent!
google avatar

Nancy A.

Yelp
I love this place. The lunch is fresh and flavorful, it is also very reasonably priced for the size of the portions. I usually get some rice with the falafel platter and I just love their hummus. It's great for our vegetarian friends that can pick and choose what to make their platter out of. They also have typical middle eastern sauces, candy, and even seasoning. I usually go get some hummus to go or even get some warm pita. They take credit cards and have ample parking in the back.
google avatar

Wendy L.

Yelp
Friendly neighborhood middle eastern grocery store with a small food court serving up authentic, delicious freshly prepared foods and baked goodies! They have a frozen section with halal meats, pies, pita, etc. and they also sell European candies, like Kinder, Ritter, and some British brands. At the food court, there's the option of getting a pita sandwich or a platter with meat of your choice. The platter comes with 2 sides and pita, the portions are quite large, so I recommend getting the pita sandwich if you're not that hungry. Their baked desserts are a must try!! Try one of each and decide for yourself. You can tell everything is made with care and love, so you really can't go wrong. The Turkish delights are...delightful! The mini-roses were amazingly flaky and light and not too sweet. Baklava was excellent.

Olga G.

Yelp
A hidden gem. Excellent market for Middle Eastern food. Delicious food at the little cafeteria area. Very reasonably priced. Good service. Nice people.

Yelp
Wonderful selection of middle eastern foods on the shelf and in the deli and freezer. I'm Armenian and love having this authentic store and deli for all my traditional foods.

Yelp
We walked in because somebody highly recommended this place, but what a mistake! We were greeted by a man whom he says his name is "Tom" maybe a pun on Tom, Dick and Harry???? I say this because he kept refusing to give his name, he even asked that we call him FatBoy! How horrible!!! I told him I would never call anybody that and if I did it would make me just as rude as he was being and I simply refuse to lower myself because somebody else loses their class. Having said that, this is all about us walking in with Django (my service dog) and yes, he is the real deal because any establishment we have visited can tell you he follows all the service dog rules and abides by all the laws he (we) were trained to abide by. "Tom" simply said yea, yea, they're all service dogs but just keep him away from sniffing any of my products! I said, of course! He knows better! At this point all I wanted was his information because he said look, I let you in as a courtesy because the state of Florida laws tell me to keep you out! I will file an official complaint with the state of Florida for his discrimination against citizens with disabilities. Not all disabilities are visible and we as a society and most definitely as business owners have to be a bit more cautious, educated and sensitive to these matters.
google avatar

Abraham A.

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot. This is a middle eastern market/bakery & place for lunch. They have falafel, Shawarma, Kibbeh and other great meals. Also every day they have a special meal of the day, may face is Friday's with the Lamb shank. Stop by and support a local family business
google avatar

Marilyn H.

Yelp
Highly recommend you try Oriental Bakery & Grocery. Ordered kibbeh & I've tried them at other middle eastern restaurants & these were absolutely delectable, not oily & so flavorful. Tried the spinach pie & they were so good. My spouse had the shawarma platter which came with tzatziki with plenty of cucumber chunks & babaganoush & it was delicious. Had a side of tabouli. Hidden Gem!!!
google avatar

Gabriel L.

Yelp
I've been going to this place since I was a baby and absolutely love it! This is the best place for authentic Middle-Eastern/ Mediterranean food in Miami. My favorite dishes from the counter are either the gyro sandwich or a shawarma platter. Both are pretty big portions. For vegetarians, the falafel is highly recommended by all my family and friends who have had it. They claimed it was the best in all of South Florida. The fresh bread they make daily is their best feature in my opinion. The pita bread, the feta cheese, and chicken empanadas are great snacks and if you toast them in the oven they come out crispy and delicious. This place is really cool and authentic and you can find a lot of interesting food items you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. I highly recommend it for anyone considering going.
google avatar

Jose A.

Yelp
VERY glad i found this place. What a hidden Gem! Grocery and cafeteria! With some of the best desserts in south Florida. I always order the falafel platter, with rice and baba ganoush.
google avatar

Lourdes A.

Yelp
My husband loves to come here to stock up on grocery goods that make him feel back home! They have a wide selection of packaged goods, frozen halal meats and ready to go platters of delicious shawarma with lots of side options, pita breads, and baklava! The owner is very nice and welcoming. We love supporting this business!
google avatar

Amber C.

Yelp
Came to try out a shawerma and the owner was really nice. Man the hot sauce on the side was a rager but I enjoyed it. You can pick up things like dolma, zaater bread, and labneh so def check it out. So convenient.
google avatar

Jordan N.

Yelp
This is a good Middle Eastern bakery in Miami, and surely it has to be one of the oldest. I don't recommend the kibbeh here - they don't taste as good as some other kibbehs I've had around town. The tabouli was passable. But these foods were stocked up cafeteria style. If you want to eat here, try to order something that's made fresh. Additionally, order something a bit before noon as the bakery and foods are freshly prepared starting at 11 am. Before that, the cold "cafeteria" food will be your only options to eat inside this establishment. Shabiyeh is not always available here. I don't think they have knafe here as well. But comparing with Daily Bread, the prices are sometimes more reasonable, because they stock on items that are not heavily commercialized comparing with Daily Bread (the quality will be about the same). So for your MIddle Eastern shopping, this might be the place to be. For eating, I probably would stick with Daily Bread, or head over a bit farther down on Coral Way to Best Middle East, another Middle Eastern grocery store (although much smaller). The pita bread here (the thin type) is imported, whereas the thicker type is made on the premises. Similar to Best Middle East.
google avatar

Keith P.

Yelp
When I walked into this bakery/grocery, I was pleasantly surprised. It was not Oriental. It was, in fact, Middle Eastern. In the mood for baked goods, I purchased baklava, and it was very pleasant, just the right amount of sweetness. The crust was also flaky, and it only cost $1.07. There are also other Middle Easter goods if you don't want baklava. If you want real food, they also sell falafel, salad, and other food items. I will definitely come back here again to try more stuff. The baklava I tried really hit the spot.
google avatar

Huy N.

Yelp
It's a small grocery store with a kitchen/dinning area inside. The staffs were friendly. The place can use a little fix up. The chairs were moving around a lot. I got a chicken kebab sandwich for $8. It was great for its price. Could use a little more seasoning but it does has the grilled flavor to it. The bread was perfect the way I like it mostly soft and warm with a tat of crunchy shell.
google avatar

Kiet H.

Yelp
Great place for casual middle eastern food. I had the gyro platter for $9 which includes a hefty portion of gyro meat, tabouleh salad, hummus, and two pieces of pita bread. Be sure to ask for a side of tzatziki and hot sauce. The tzatziki sauce is delicious and the hot sauce is out-of-this-world spicy. You order at the counter, seat yourself at the table, and pay at the register when you're done eating. There's also a selection of middle eastern snacks and groceries in the market section. The items are more expensive than at publix, likely because some of the items can't be found elsewhere and they have to be imported. We found free parking right outside the restaurant on the side street.
google avatar

Naty S.

Yelp
Talk about a great family owned business! It is one of those places where you really need to forget its facade and just step inside. Their assortment of Middle-eastern products is just magnificent. But the best kept secret is their deli on the back... You can choose from Falafel wraps to Shawarma Platters that will make anyone's day just perfect. Their selection of side dishes and baked goods are available to enjoy on the spot or for take out. Their refrigerators are packed with delicious baked good to take home and continue the fantastic voyage through Middle-Easter delicacies. As I mentioned before this place is a family operated business and you will feel like family too. They are extremely cool and will carefully put your meal together, to guarantee your positive experience. Make sure to pick dessert at the counter while paying... Prices are fantastic and they have parking on the back!!!

Yelp
Delicious Falafel Sandwich shop inside the very clean grocery store. Well lit and welcoming. So happy to find this gem.
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
This place makes a very convenient Brickell lunch spot if you are able to drive over. I almost always get the schwarma sandwich and am never disappointed. Every dish I've had has been tasty and flavorful. One of my favorite aspects of this location is that I can get the schwarma for under $7 and it is enough to fill me up. I also appreciate the fact that it is extremely casual because it is just some tables in a grocery store. I can't speak myself to the grocery store, but you can clearly see there are lots of middle eastern foods you will not find in Publix. Also, my friend buys fresh maamoul cookies every time he is there, which he says are awesome.
google avatar

Ozzy M.

Yelp
Just like "Nuevo Siglo." This place is inside a supermarket! Not sure why it is called Oriental anything. Theirs nothing. Oriental in this place, Syrian food. Middle eastern. Ok regarding the food, it is great home made taste, it is family owned and run. A must try
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
The name said Oriental Market. I was in need of some soy sauce for my Chinese food. The Yelp reviews were favorable, although I will admit they were suspiciously free of soy sauce. But it was the only thing I found nearby that seemed even vaguely close. So I went, and sure enough, the place is all middle eastern food! So this big, broad guy appeared and welcomed me kindly to his store. He had the best attitude of any grocer I've ever met. He was welcoming. Charming. And so I was apologetic. "I know you probably don't have this ..." "Please, ask away, anything I can do for you as a customer" "but do you have any soy sauce, being an oriental market and all?" The poor chap was crestfallen. Alas, no, he did not. But, he brightened up, I can tell you how to get to the only one nearby. He rattled off an intimidating set of directions, but because I always forget directions the moment I hear them, I asked him for the name. "Pekin restaurant," he said, letting the name go with a tinge of sadness. I could tell he felt that he was passing me, his valued customer and friend, to an institution that would probably not live up to my expectations. As a consolation prize I ordered some baklava. It was only $1.50 a piece, and was as delicious as any I have ever had. (I am enjoying the last of it as I write this.) I went to the Pekin market. You will find my review of it elsewhere. But the experience I will never forget is the one I had here at Oriental Bakery. I guarantee I will come back, for the Baklava if nothing else. I received five-star treatment here, but I have to deduct one for it being the Oriental Market that, well, wasn't actually one ... LOL.

Yelp
This is my go to place for Middle Eastern food, at least once a week. I am always welcomed with a smile, the food is consistently good and very inexpensive. The kibbeh platter with two kibbehs two sides is the best. The dining room shares the same space with the supermarket and bakery, and this place has been around forever with hardly any remodels, so expect a casual, authentic albeit rough environment.

Yelp
HEATER alert . This spot tickles me. Quintessential hidden gem. Been around for 30+ years, authentic as it gets. Owner and his son work here and are very sociable and love speaking about the history + handing out free samples of deliciousness. Aside from the lunch menu, the items sold in the market are rare yet dank. They make their own pita chips and hummus which makes Sabra hummus and stacys chips laughable. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Yelp
First time here and I absolutely loved it! I had a falafel platter which was delicious. I'm vegan so I was happy to see that they had a lot of options for me. The owner was great! He allowed us to taste the items before committing. Exceptional hospitality!

Yelp
I've driven by the Oriental Bakery & Grocery Co. for years, and have never walked in, until recently. It turns out this place has been around for over 30 years. Came here for the lunch special. It's not a restaurant, but does have tables and chairs at the rear of the building where customers can eat. A small counter offers hummus, baba ghanoush , kibeh, tabbouleh , and other middle eastern delights. But most importantly, they had their Friday special, the roasted lamb. The meat is very tender and falls right off the bone. It's served with a plate of rice and vegetables. Add a drink and the total for the whole meal doesn't even get to $10! It's a great deal. It's a good thing we came early because more people started coming in for the lunch rush. There's not many seats so I imagine it fills up fast.

Yelp
Great neighbor hidden gem! Went for lunch last week and have been dying to go back again. In the middle of the market there is a stand with hot food and tables where you can enjoy your lunch. I order the hummus, tabbouleah and kibbi plater. It was delicious! My only feedback is that I wish the kibbi was hot and that they didn't have to heat it in the microwave. Nevertheless, it tasted great! Don't miss out on the desserts by the register. I also took home some pita bread stuffed with feta cheese. Looking forward to having lunch there again this week!

Yelp
The Oriental Bakery is really in a league of its own when it comes to Middle Easter food. It's one of those places that you love walking into, you always feel welcome, and there's always something new to try (or at least look at). Its a mom n pop deli with everything from 6 types of fresh cheese (most look and taste like different types of feta - but I'm sure a ME cuisine counossieur can tell the difference), to different types of olives, to a whole rainbow assortment of Middle Easter packaged, fresh made, frozen, and ready to eat foods. On top of that, there's all kinds of consumer products like hookah's decorations and what not. I come for the food. There are a bunch of things I like about the Oriental Bakery. First of all, the service is exceptional. The owner and his son and daughter are usually the one's in the front, and they all share responsibility for the deli/food section, cashier. They acknowledge you as soon as you walk in the store. The food is really good. I normally have the falafel pita, and there's all sorts of options when it comes to what you want to fill it with, including a vegetable tsatsiki or garlic yogurt, hot sauces, you name it. The price is always right, parking is always abundant. I just had a lamb special today, with mediterranean rice, and it was awesome. Check this place out next time you're in the area.
