Their strange behavior, I had to ru out to the car real quick, my husband stayed seated, a lady literally went to front door and watched me, then wanting us to pay while we were still seated, gave us the distinct impression they thought we were going to dine and dash. $45 for 2 ppl on weekday. Kinda pricey and sushi apparently is NOT included in buffet according to a sign i saw later. Crayfish were old and dry no juice whatsoever in the pan..and overcooked but everything else was decent. Not great but not terrible.

Staff was friendly however, the buffet was was horrible. It was as if they put cold or cool food into hot pans. ALL the food on my plate was cool or cold even the spring rolls and egg rolls. This was at 11:30, they had just opened for lunch. Definitely would not have passed inspection. I complained. They checked by touching edge of pans no food thermometer was used because I handed them an egg food Yung from the hot pan which was cold, he said i make you more!! I said no. I'm not paying for cold food!

So I went here. I pulled over in the parking lot looking to locate Los Cabos because I’m not familiar with Owasso. I thought OK I’m here. I’ll try it. All their food was cold. The best thing was their fried shrimps, but they still were cold. I did the grill thing Where they cook it for you. I tried to eat as much as I could, but I have cancer so I can’t eat very much and when I asked him, can I take just what I have to go. They told me it would be another $19 to take the grill portion on top of the $21 I had paid for their cold buffet. I thought I would get out of the box try something different. Well that was a serious mistake. Here their staff was rude. Their food was cold. I paid for what I ate. I tried to eat as much as I could Why the hell should I pay $18 for a plate of noodles, broccoli zucchini and I tried to eat as much of it as I could I didn’t order it to go. I should’ve went to Los Cabos and I could’ve brought home my leftovers this place I just left him sitting on the table so now absolutely disgusting.

Oriental Pearl is back to killin it! They had a rough streak there for about 7-8 years but the past 3 times we've gone (all within the past 3 months) have been B U S S I N. Food is hot & fresh, the variety is great (I think there are 5 or 6 buffet table thingies, along w the sushi & Mongolian tables). Im sp happy to have a good buffet in Owasso again!

I have lived here for years. We have always gone from time to time to eat here. We went last Sunday for dinner and as my dad was eating he felt a piece of metal and spit it out. He took pictures and we immediately let a waitress know. She informed the manager I would assume it owner who knows. She came by and took the plate and looked at it and didn’t say much. When this happened we were just astonished and we didn’t even finish eating. We just decided to leave and proceeded to pay. The owner or manager proceeded to tell us it was probably from the metal dish scrapers they use to wash. Which she just kind of brushed off. They didn’t charge us for my dad but still charged the rest of us. We were a group of 5. It’s not so much the issue of paying but things could have been handled differently. We left and I did call them to let them know that they should be careful because this something that should not ever happen. This was a person’s well being and they just brushed it off as if it did not matter. Please check your food when you go there. Overall we just were disappointed and never eating here again.

Went tonight for a quick dinner with my husband. Great buffet choice, hot food. Standard American Chinese buffet. 10 star ice cream machine, fresh sushi made in house and raw food/ Mongolian grill option in house with buffet as well. Clean seating area and plenty of space/tables and booths. Fun fortune cookies. Waitresses were happy and everyone was friendly.

This place was amazing. It's been here for a long time and ive never stopped in to try. For three of us to eat the buffet with three beverages came to about $56.00. Food was fresh and plenty of variety. I highly recommend this locate

The food was fresh, hot and good. The waitresses kept your drink glasses full and were ready to get anything you needed. The ambiance was nice and relaxing.

Mongolian grill is great. Good food overall. Quick service brings drinks and refills. Large area for parties. Solid experience every time.

I really can't think of anything bad to say about the Oriental Pearl. The Mongolian Grill always has fresh ingredients. There is a good selection of fresh Sushi. And the buffet has a nice selection. There is plenty of seating. The wait staff is friendly and efficient.

Not the greatest place to get food. It is just ok, nothing special. The buffet does have lot of options but again not the greatest. The service was reallygood, they stay on top of things.

Disgusting, and out of all the food. This place is gross. All the food was super low quality and tasted bad. They didnt bother keeping food resupplied on the buffet so i couldnt get what i wanted. The price for the buffet was crazy high for what you were getting. Wasnt clean at all, all the food was scattered everywhere. Wont be back

This is my second time eating at this Chinese Buffet and the food was a lot better then I remembered when I visited the first time. Unfortunately it is expensive even for lunch. The Lady who served us did a great job and very nice, thank you.

Servers were pleasant. If you enjoy garlic, ginger, fish sauce, and lemon grass, the food is lacking in traditional Asian spices. I was happy eating green beans, broccoli, and mushrooms. However, my teen tried all fried foods and left most of them on the plate, because they lacked flavor. Oriental Pearl's food is best suited for those who like less traditional Asian flavor. We will continue to cook our Asian food at home.

I had been here before a long time ago but it was not good and my in-laws wanted to come here so we dreaded it but our experience was the opposite! The food was actually good, not everything was fresh but it was definitely tasty. Fried rice to lomein to chicken wings -- delish! As everyone else has stated, the service was slow and they didn't take the plates. They filled up our drinks at the end and I mean, all in all, it wasn't a bad experience and I actually like their food. I would definitely come back!

Looking from the outside, I was very skeptical of this place. However, upon entry I discovered a magical environment reminiscent of the Chinese buffets of my youth! The space is very clean and the servers are helpful and attentive. Prices are not bad considering the amount of food you can get. For my money, the Mongolian grill portion and buffet is worth the price. They offer sushi, but I have not found any of their rolls very appetizing. Worth it for a great lunch or dinner.

Pretty empty by 2:00 Arrived 1:15 Sushi / grill (Did not try, never do) Polite efficient waitresses (as always) I don't know why we humans make the same mistakes repetitively, expecting a different outcome. Expecting better? Having a positive outlook?

The food was tasteful. I like blow on your food hot. So it was a cold by the time you got from the buffet to your seat. The drink prices were outrageous, we usually drink water but wanted something different today.

My family and I always come here for dinner and it's tradition. The food isn't bad and the service is always really good. They always check on you. This has nothing to do with the restaurant, but can I suggest please don't eat at buffet, or even please don't lick your fingers and touch the tongs....

Quality of food here has really suffered of late. They must have changed kitchen staff because someone back there has no idea what they are doing. I recently took out shrimp with lobster sauce which was disgusting. The sauce was so watery and there was alot more nasty fake crab than shrimp. They used to offer house special fried rice that was loaded with shrimp chicken and beef. No more. Its mostly just rice. I've scratched this dump off my list.

I would give -5 stars if it was an option. Food was gross. Manager was disrespectful. Highly wouldn't recommend coming here.

Came back after giving 1star. This time it was busier and the food was warm, which definitely made a difference. The food had better taste and honestly it was your standard Chinese buffet. But no more than a standard buffet, and I love buffets, so anything that gets 3 stars, I will try it. I'll even go down to 2.5 stars. But I've noticed once 2 stars are achieved, then it's usually no good. Hitting 2.5 stars is a honest ratio achieved by this restaurant. There is a good selection of food. And make sure you are there at a busy time otherwise the food will be cold and even stale. Location in Owasso is good! Price is standard buffet cost. Service is not an issue, it's a buffet. I've realized that if the food stays out too long, then it's no good.

It is a little on the loud and crowded side, but it is to be expected for a Buffet. Food is fresh, and served with kindness.

The decor is uninspired and boring. The same could be said for the food. The food was bland, tasteless, and only vaguely warm. The spring rolls were cabbage covered with a wonton wrapper and fried. Just cabbage! Zero flavor. The best thing I found to eat was the fried rice, which was ordinary, but at least had some flavor. Service was okay. I had to laugh as I left and noticed a sign that said, "Buffet to go does not include container. Container is $3.00" That brought the price up to pretty much the same as eat-in, but you get no seconds. I saw one man building his to-go box like a masterpiece, so as to squeeze in as much as possible. Why bother, when the food isn't very good? "Ordinary" gives this place too much praise. I won't be going back.

Never eat here. The worse ever! The Sesame chicken hard, stuff, dry & stringy. Chicken on a stick very dry & overcooked. Asked manager for fresh sesame chicken & manger said "it's all created different" poor manger's response. Will never recommend or go back!!! Zero stars but yelp made me post at least one star to review..

This place is great. The prices are a little bit more steep than some buffets in Tulsa. Service is always great, always clean from what I've seen. Food stays pretty fresh. Wish they had the coconut shrimp on the lunch menu though. And their Togo prices are basically the same as if you went in and ate which seems a little silly to me.

First off, there is a horrible pricing issue. When we got to the restaurant the waitress asked how old I was and I said ten and my two parents were adults. At the end when we were gonna leave the price was 50 dollars. Keep in mind this a buffet. And from 1-9 is 8 dollars. 10+ is 16 dollars. The price was way over then what we should've paid for. The food was OK definitely not 50 dollars worth. Thank you :) And also their staff were inattentive.

We were very surprised... A Chinese buffet in the middle of Oklahoma. We tried this route before. We didn't get food poisoning, so we figured we would try it again. But this time let's go to a smaller town. Staff was friendly... Buffets were smaller, but the quality was much better. The food consistently came out fresh... Sushi was edible... There was a Mongolian BBQ, but we did not partake. Although, next time a plate full of vegetables and some garlic sounds yummy. We ended up leaving our baby's bottle in the restaurant... We came back a half hour later and they had saved it. For all the Owasso has, I would recommend this. We were still feeling great the next day.

A plain spot, Oriental Pearl isn't quite a mega buffet but offers a varied selection of the usual Chinese dishes, plus a hibachi for a custom meal. A special request was immediately supplied, while normal service was prompt in clearing used dishes and refilling glasses. Food trays were kept hot and freshly stocked. In all, our party of five enjoyed the selection and service on a busy Sunday afternoon.

I'm not sure what's happened to mainstream Chinese buffets in America, but they're pretty much all the same. Pretty sure most of the items on the buffet line are precooked and reheated, or at best frozen and fried. That's not to say that some of it isn't pretty good. Most is. Oriental Pearl is pretty much the only spot left in Owasso that offers the 'mega' Chinese buffet. Also included is a fairly lackluster attempt at sushi, and a pretty passable mongolian grill. If you complain about what you get on the grill, it's your own fault, since you pick the ingredients. OP is pretty much the place I go to when I want a shrimp fest for lunch, since they have several varieties. Overall, it's not *great* chinese food, but as buffets go, it's pretty much par for the course.

We have eaten here in the past and were treated great by the wait staff. Stopped in today for a mother-daughter lunch. As we were finishing up generally the wait staff would bring our ticket and say no hurry but not today. Today we had not even finished eating and the wait staff brought the check and insisted on payment at that moment right at our table. We are so upset at the rude attitude that we won't be back for a very long time. Owasso has too many choices for a place to eat out to put up with rudeness.

This place is very average. It's nothing too special but it's the only Chinese buffet in Owasso. That being said, since there is no competition, I think they've lowered their standards just a bit over the past years. The service is usually good. One word of advice, the crawfish taste old so I'd avoid that. So all in all, it's just a basic Chinese buffet and nothing really stands out. The quality of food could be improved.

The food is mediocre -- not great, but not terrible. The restaurant seemed clean enough. The prices are high and for some reason a buffet to go is more expensive than an all you can eat buffet, eventhough it's only once trip and they have a list of buffet items that you're not allowed to get on the buffet if you're getting it to go. But the part that really bothered me today was how my family, party of 5, was heavily monitored by staff the whole time we were eating. It seemed like they were waiting for us to steal the silverware. The constant hovering near our table by two staff members for no other reason than to keep a close eye on us was very uncomfortable and rude. We'll go to Panda Express next time.

We visited last night as part of Girls night (around 6pm on a Friday) with my sixteen year old daughter. With the iffy-ness of the reviews as of lately, I didn't know what to expect. However!! - it was DELICIOUS!! All the food was fresh and flavorful. Nothing was soggy or burned. I had a lot of protein - pork gyoza, chicken skewers, crispy fried shrimp, hot and spicy shrimp, and also some of the mushrooms. I was in heaven. The egg drop soup was good, but maybe just a little more seasoning/salt would have helped. But all in all, I would definitely go back. For the two of us, it was about $30 with tip.

This is a very busy better in the heart of Owasso, OK. The price is fair and the food decent stuff for a buffet. They offer non-raw sushi that is 3.5 out of 5. The have a girl and a raw bar, mix up your favs, take it up and the grill operator fixs you up on a flash, you go back and pick it up once it's done or you can watch. My grandson loves to watch, my grown sons like the drop off, fix another plate swing by to pick up method. They have a few round tables that allow large group to sit down family style. We enjoy that as we are The Knights, and that makes us The Knights of the round table....(corney joke my kids hate I am sure). Staff is friendly. Bathrooms are as fancy as they come in the womens, reminds men of a winery, why it's like that I have zero clue. Good is good, spices good and a little frozen yogurt for desert. The other deserts on the bar need a pass, don't even try.

Typical chinese food buffet. One if the reasons I go here often is the hibachi bar. I get to customize just to my liking and I know it will be hot and fresh. Only wish there were more flavoring sauce options. One of the other reasons: the wonton soup. The best flavored broth I've had in a long while. The meat in the wontons is pretty standard and not to my liking, so i just eat around it. The other item that has been consistently great and flavorful is the salt and pepper shrimp. They are above average,in my opinion. The buffet is decent sized, with typical selections. A few different options though are the clams and crawfish. There is a small sushi selection that's pretty mediocre. Lots of fresh fruit options for dessert as well as a few pre-fab cakes and an ice cream machine. Also have peel and eat shrimp on buffet and for an upcharge, crab legs. Wait staff has always been wonderful for me. Not the best, but a few choice selections keep me coming back.

Will keep going there. Asian cooks and Asian wait Personnel. Recommend highly. Brought special friends that own busineses.

I've been eating here for probably 20 years... the food is pretty decent for a buffet but I witnessed something today that turned my stomach and will make me not come back at least for a while. There was some food that had spilled out on to the counter and instead of cleaning that up a member of the staff came over and just flung it back in the bowl.

I understand it's a buffet and it's not supposed to be a five-star meal but food is definitely super greasy under seasoned. I want to say I went a couple weeks ago and the AC was broken it was hot as heck in there . It's a Buffay if you just want food Buffay style I guess you could just go here. I'd rather just go down the block and have some Panda Express......

I think I visited this place about 3 years ago. I don't think Owasso is known for their oriental food but this place is pretty good and a decent price.

The food is bad and cold. I will never eat there again. I have lived in Owasso for 43 years and have never paid this kind of money for food that bad.

I was craving some chinese food so I stopped here. It was mid afternoon. The food was cold and soggy. It had no real flavor to it. The staff was very friendly but the food was awful. Will not return.

Average. Don't get take out because the price is fixed and it's higher than eating in. Never seen that before. Sushi very dry and wouldn't eat. Food average. Staff not too friendly.

Absolutely awful. I find no redeeming qualities in this place at all. Crap ingredients, lousy sauces, swimming in oil, the list goes on and on. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in a world where the list of bad Chinese restaurants is already impressive. I can only hope I don't get sick later as a result. Avoid at all costs!!!

Fast, friendly and courteous! Upon entry we were immediately seated at a clean table, and close to the buffet. The aroma of the huge selection of finely prepared items was very impressive as well exceptionally delicious! Looking very much forward to our next visit! Mmmmm-boy!

I've been going to Oriental Pearl ever since I was 11. I'm 19 now and I'll tell you their standards have definitely lowered over the years. The food is okay and the price is slightly above average but I really don't trust what goes on behind closed doors in the kitchen. The worst part by far is their service. I visit Oriental Pearl around 3-4 times a year and 75% of the time I have a bad experience. Around the time you get finished eating the waitresses will stand 7 feet from the table just staring you and your family down in hopes you leave an abundant tip. They never ask if they can take your plate they just reach in front of your face like children. They have taken cash out of my grandmothers hand once thinking it was a tip. The worst moment of my Oriental Pearl experience happened last night (9/26/20) when they tried to charge me twice. We had a large group and we all sorta trickled out of the restaurant and they tried to tell us there was one who didn't pay. They required everyone to return to the restaurant to show their receipts as proof. Here at Oriental Pearl, "the customer is never right."

Good hot food. Things were flavorful and well stocked. Service was amiable, restrooms and dining room clean. Lots of seafood choices especially for a lunch Buffett. Will return and recommend.

Cleanest Chinese buffet in the Tulsa area. From the hibachi grill to the icemilk machine. They have enough of a variety to satisfy any type of appetite.

We absolutely love the Mongolian BBQ and sushi. We also love the variety that is on the buffet. There is always something for everyone including the little kiddos. The staff is always kind and on top of their game.

I frequent this restaurant quite often just to fill that craving you get to just devour an entire planet worth of food. Quality of dishes is very average, on bad days it's plain bad, but prices are decent enough that you can eat your money back. This place isn't fantastic, but it's been a comfort buffet for me.

Wouldn't go here again. The older lady was rude and doesn't understand the concept of customer service. Food wasn't all that fresh. Seems like they don't care about having customers come back.

We came to eat on a Sunday with family there was kind of a crowd. All children above the age of 10 are charged as an adult no matter how little they are and that price is around $10-$12. There was not a large selection of Chinese food there was more sushi and PHO and hibachi grill. The food was lukewarm are not very hot didn't seem fresh. The waitress constantly refilled the drink barely cleared plates away barely brought napkins more consumed with filling the soda over and over and over. Then Didn't offer any to go drinks. I left my food at the hibachi Grill to be cooked and walked away to make a plate upon returning my food was still sitting there. I guess if you don't watch them cook your food it won't get cooked. I was not happy with this restaurant I was not please with the service I will not return.

I order food from this place at least 4 times a month. The food is fresh and delicious. Good price and fair portions. I am an Asian food foodie. LOL. Have eaten at all Asian restaurants around Owasso and a few in Tulsa and Broken Arrow. They have no problem tweaking my order to meet my finicky taste. Delivery is timely and food arrives hot and ready to please. Keep up the great food and service!!!!!
