We came back to Origin for a second morning during our stay in Savannah - it was just that good! I had the Miel and also a fruit and yogurt bowl, and the Turkish Egg dish was similarly delicious. Everything was fresh and prepared thoughtfully. It’s a very clean establishment. The staff is friendly and helpful when navigating a new menu. Free street parking was available both days. Can’t wait to return for our last morning tomorrow!

A Hidden Gem in Savannah We had a fantastic experience at Origin Coffee Bar in Savannah. Everything from the food to the ambiance made this visit memorable. We ordered the Turkish eggs plate, and it was absolutely delicious—a perfect blend of flavors that truly woke up the palate. It was rich, savory, and beautifully presented. The chocolate croissant was fresh, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet. Paired with a well-balanced cappuccino, our breakfast hit all the right notes. I have been here on multiple occasions (local). And on first visit, the place seems amazing. It's open and contemporary. Comfy seating. Cute coffee. But after multiple visits, I would say this coffee spot is just okay. The coffee is a bit watery and lukewarm every time I order. The turkish eggs were great! But the avocado toast and other items were lackluster. I also wanted to mention the staff member that often works the register is quite unfriendly and seems to hate the job. The interactions I've had with him led me to write this review. But overall, I don't mind going here, but if you're looking for amazing coffee/food, I would search for other places.

We visited from out of town and this was the first and the last place we got coffee from. Made 3 visits, matter of fact. The cold brew was the best I had all weekend after trying a few different spots. This place gets quite busy and the line goes out the door but the workers crank everything out so quick the line moves fast. Great ambiance inside with a very cool modern design. Next time I’m in Savannah this will be my first stop again!

I had the best breakfast of my vacation so far-so many options, amazing service, and genuinely nice staff. The team kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect, which made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious; every dish was fresh and flavorful. I’ll definitely be coming back again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a standout breakfast spot.

The vibe of this coffee bar is amazing! Be aware that the seats may be fully packed. We got the bacon burrito, and the breakfest biscuit. The burritos was good, nothing too speicial. The biscuit was not a good ratio of filling to biscuit, but was tasty. We also had a chocolate croissant, which was the highlight of the whole meal. As well as the mocha coffee, very strong coffee flavor, less on the sweet side. And the London fog, a great break of sweetness.

Was looking for some good coffee before leaving town and found this GEM. The service was beyond amazing and super friendly. Plenty of seating inside in different areas of the cafe. I went with The Crosby (pistachio white chocolate latte). It was so delicious and hit the spot for a rainy day.

Try the salmon toast - you will NOT be disappointed! The mango habanero cream cheese was such a nice surprise. The sourdough was lightly toasted and the salmon was good quality. I loved it! I also ordered a matcha latte, which was good but not great. It also took a very long time to make, I finished my toast and waited a bit before getting my latte. One small thing that was very off-putting was the dirty dish trays were overflowing. It was hard to put dishes in the bins, I was concerned they would break. There were a lot of places to sit and work or just relax and enjoy your order. It was bright and open, but definitely a popular spot.

Delicious coffee! We had a drip and an Americano - flavorful and bold. So good that we went back the next day for round two.

I was looking for a quick spot for breakfast and coffee with a close friend before a work conference. This place was not too far from our hotel--the moment we walked in we appreciated the open vibe and the variety of seating both inside and outside. There wasn't a long line and we were able to order with all our questions answered and recommendations. I ended up getting the avocado toast with charcoal sourdough which was the first one I've had it and a matcha which wasn't too sweet (the way I like it). I don't eat meat but my friend said the chicken biscuit was tasty and it was actually better than expected.

Origin had the type of coffee we love. They have a great selection of light and mediums roasts, not just dark like the south likes to drink. Their service was wonderful and made delicious espresso drinks. Their line moved quickly and there was plenty of seating. Loved the modern touches and they have clean/well stocked family bathrooms. Would love to try the food options next time we are in town.

I stand corrected... new favorite tonic expresso Updating my previous review as I tried Origin's quintessential grapefruit and hibiscus tonic espresso. Recommended by one of their crew - definitely the best coffee drink I've had in a long time. I love this place

Large, open, crisp and clean coffee shop; had an iced latte which was excellent. My wife had an iced chai, a little sweeter than she likes but I tried it, and it and thought it was great!

I got the pistachio matcha latte here, and I appreciate how rich and deep the matcha flavor was, in addition to having a really nice subtle pistachio flavor and sweetness. Also, the tables were really nice and big to seat a larger party (definitely different from other cafes I've seen). Great place to check out on a lazy weekend morning

Definitely know you are in a college town at Origin Coffee Bar. Good service & food. Lots of students go to Origin because it is welcoming spot for them. For us, it was close to our hotel.

With so many coffee shops in Savannah, it's hard to try them all. I regret not visiting Origin in their old location because I have been missing out! I have been back a few times now and I truly think this is the best coffee downtown. With unlimited refills on the drop coffee, this is a great spot to post up for a little bit with a book or to get some work done. Bonus points for the cute swings seating area. I also love that they have an actual food menu and not just pastries. I highly recommend the breakfast potatoes! Even just as a snack. The avocado toast and breakfast burrito are great as well. The staff is always so friendly and the cafe, including the bathrooms, are so clean. The customers can tell how much love and care is in this business. I would highly recommend and return often.

Lovely coffees and tasty food in pleasant space with an inviting coffeehouse vibe. We happened upon Original Coffee Bar while staying in Savannah for the weekend. We planned on just getting coffee until we saw the food. Everything was fresh and tasty and our coffees were adorable and delicious. Would totally recommend! A long line did form at one point while we were there, and the seats didn't turn over quickly, so I would recommend grabbing a seat if you see one at a busy time.

This coffee shop is spacious and has a great modern vibe. They have food options and tables large enough to dine in as well as some sofa chairs that you can just chill in. It's a great place to study and hang out. We got to try three of the seasonal drinks--Golden Hour, Bouquet Latte, and Ube Bliss. My favorite was the Golden Hour I loved that you could taste the citrus and orange in the coffee. The Ube Bliss was alright to me, not enough ube. The bouquet latte was also delicious and the coffee flavor was very robust. Service was quick although the line was long.

This place was really a nice surprise. The coffee and food was excellent. You can tell they care about the food they make and how every ingredient enhances the flavor journey. Definitely a place worth the money.

On a trip to Savannah our family of four stopped in to Origin after seeing the beautiful pictures of the shop and coffee drinks. The coffee shop is beautiful, bright and airy. They have a great selection of coffees. Although the lattes I ordered were excellent, the service was not great. They seemed upset we brought our kids in which seemed odd since they have high chairs. My husband took the kids out while I ordered and waited for our drinks. The staff member who took my order was unwelcoming. When I picked up the drinks at the counter I tried to ask a staff member a question and was ignored. When I did get a hold of someone they were also short and unwelcoming. Overall great coffee but did not seem welcoming for families. If you are looking for a seat it will be hard to find during the week as most people seem to work from there. We were lucky enough to grab a table outside. They also don't offer coconut milk! We ordered almond milk iced vanilla latte. Nutella filled croissant Hot Carmel latte

Great space!! Unique flavors and amazing open space that inspires a great working environment. I ordered the cold brew with a seasonal flavor that tasted like blueberry muffin. It was so good! I also noticed how family friendly this coffee shop is. They even had a dedicated changing table with creams and even diapers. What a nice touch!

In town for work and wanted some coffee. I found Origin on Yelp and decided to stop. It's very cute on the inside with lots of seating. I was able to order right away as there wasn't a line. I ordered a mocha and it came out in no time. I believe there is only one size, which is okay, but the price is pretty steep for a small cup of coffee. However, the quality was good. There was plenty of street parking around as well. Overall, good service and pretty good coffee to go along with it!

Friends and I were pleasantly surprised with the coffee here! I got the iced bouquet latte and it was delicious! Perfect balance of the floral flavors and coffee. One of our friends got the golden hour and it was surprisingly good. The citrus cold foam and the vanilla + orange combo made the drink taste like an orange cream coffee drink. After visiting several coffee shops during the trip, we voted this our favorite coffee shop overall for coffee quality and ambiance!

One of the best coffee shops in town! As someone that WFH and wants an occasional space to read a book, this is the perfect space. I love the modern, fresh decor. The lighting is airy and bright. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about what to recommend. I think I have had everything on the menu and there is not one thing I don't recommend. My morning go-to is always the Mendez burrito with a side of tomato basil soup, and 2 shots of espresso. Sometimes, I am daring and dive into the Bisbee bowl. The other day, I changed it up with a Benny on the Rocks on top of the home fries! All so yummy and a must have!

Omg!! I have been dying to come here ever since they relocated and opened the new spot but never got the chance! Wow wow wow! It is absolutely gorgeous! The service was fast and friendly and they even thanked us for driving from Charleston! Let's talk coffee! I love love love everything Origin does! They create beautiful coffees that not only look amazing, they taste perfect! I took my friend here and she ordered the Crosby Latte that features pistachio and white chocolate. She melted with the first sip and said it was the best latte she's ever had! I got the yippee Ki yay cold brew because I was so intrigued by the huckleberry foam. Wow! I was blown away with the flavor! I follow Origin's Instagram frequently and happened to know they took awhile to perfect their sourdough as well. My friend and I both got toasts and they were absolutely delicious! If you want to go to a coffee shop that literally does it all, go to Origin!!

I really liked this coffee shop. It is spacious and airy with lots of seating and sockets for charging your laptop. I got the mocktail (so yum) and got to work. I will say that it was fairly loud at 11am on a Friday, and because of the space, that makes the sound carry a bit more. Perfect spot for taking an in-person meeting but I don't think I'd come here for virtual ones because it was hard to hear.

Homemade Gluten free bread and plenty of toast options for people with allergies. A very cute, clean, all white vibe inside. My almond milk latte was very good. Overall a great spot for both breakfast and coffee.

Bright, vibrant, coffee shop. Good for remote work, meeting with a friend, or grabbing a quick bite. There are some tables/counter seating in the corner I had to take a work call in without creating much disturbance. The salmon lox was fire. Drip coffee is great - they have 2 roast options for drip + 1 free refill. Staff is very friendly and approachable if you have questions. Clean space, clean bathrooms, chill music. Overall great vibes.

Nice open airy coffee shop with a real modern feel. My wife had a latte and I had mocha late. Both were very good and the coffee art was pretty impressive. I had a ham and cheese croissant which was delicious. The service was pretty basic with ordering at a point of sale and your name called when they were ready. Nice coffee shop that I would definitely visit again.

I've been getting coffee here for about a year (an iced chai to be exact) and it is so so so good. I also love their coffee cake muffins. Everything I've had here has been really good. Today I went in to do some work on my computer and got a bacon and egg sandwich and an iced chai. I got my sandwich but after 20 minutes of no drink I eventually went up and asked and they said they had forgotten to make it. They made it right away and gave me a coupon for a free drink. Exceptional service!

We got coffee and croissants here both were good. The place was busy midweek and there was no where to sit. Staff were friendly and decently quick. The place was super cute inside.

Great new coffee shop on MLK. Spacious. Modern. Serve single origin coffee exclusively. Best of all, they offer coffee brewed as pour over, my favorite brew method. Pour Over is simple (pour water over ground coffee) but pulls out the most complex flavors from the beans. They have an automated pour over machine, which adds complexity to process and I can't comment on how well it brews a cup because it was broken (did I mention the extra complexity?). They made pour over by hand for me which tasted great (hand made pour over is the traditional method). COFFEE Today's single origin selections were Ethiopia and Colombia. I chose Ethiopia (the clear choice) which was acidic and offered a wonderful lime flavor (natural to bean). PASTRIES Staff was friendly. Location is away from tourist areas (targets local crowds).

Beautiful interior and tranquil setting, plus very dedicated and friendly staff. I only had an iced tea here so I cannot speak to their coffee drinks but the tea was brewed to order then iced and was quite good. They have a good and diverse selection of food as well, mostly leaning towards breakfast/brunch. When I visited in the early afternoon the coffeeshop was busy with SCAD students studying for their finals and workers from local businesses. Just when you could honestly say Savannah didn't exactly need another coffeehouse, Origin proves you wrong!

The food is good. We had the salmon. The service is good. The ambiance is big industrial...cold.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop to study at. It is so bright and the food & coffee is always good. The owners are there often and talk to everyone. Another huge plus is you can tell they actually listen to and respect their employees unlike some of the other coffee shops I study at. I never feel rushed out of a spot. The only suggestion I have is to turn the heat on now that it's cold because the building is so cold sometimes. Overall though 10/10 place, coffee, staff, study spot, owners!

Wonderful coffee shop! Per usual, my boyfriend had a cortado, and he loved it! I had English Breakfast tea, I didn't love it, but the food and atmosphere made up for my below average tea. We both had the All-American breakfast plate. Simple and classic. The sourdough toast was SO YUM! The space is very welcoming and the modern sleek design is beautiful! Very welcoming to hangout. They have couches, round table booths, and high top counter space. Something for everyone. The baristas were all very friendly and chatty. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Savannah!

Incredibly good! Expresso pours are out of this world! The pourovers pull out subtle flavors, which is sometimes hit or miss. Absolutely a great place to sit on the laptop for a stretch and work on the laptop. Morning that clean chique look than a comfortable groovy dive. Huge windows letting in lots of light. Plenty of plugs.

Ordered an iced Miel (cinnamon honey latte) with almond milk and it was delish!! So creamy, perfectly sweet, and the perfect roast leaving no acidity in the aftertaste. Very aesthetic cafe, and friendly staff.

Great food and coffee but they need to find away to open up tables. Limit the internet or something. There is no room for diners to sit with all the folks just hanging out staring into their computers.

TLDR version: The Miel? Delicious! The Chai? Super tasty! The vibes?! Immaculate! The staff? Wonderful. Truly 10/10, all around! Top notch, brand new coffee joint on the west side of Sav! While in line, I caught a glimpse at the merch and candles; the Awaken espresso candle smelled heavenly! Talked to the husband owner while ordering, and not only did he take the extra second to actually greet us and make conversation, but even after the transaction was complete, he kept the conversation going, which seemed like a very nice gesture even though there were others in line behind us. Incredibly personable and friendly fella. The wife owner was killing it too, delivering drinks to tables & also greeting guests. Probably one of the busiest and craziest days of their lives, as today was the soft opening, but I hope they took a second to sit back and admire what they've created. I see myself and my boyfriend frequenting OCB very often! Congrats Origin Coffee Bar & team! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

I have loved this place from the moment I walked in at their old location! Everything is perfect from the drinks to the atmosphere and to the staff and owners! This new location is absolutely beautiful and amazing! The drinks are out of this world and they are always presented in the most beautiful way!
