I stayed overnight with my four year old grandson, and we both enjoyed ourselves. There was a tent set up for him to sleep in and there was a sweet little gift for him as well. The fun rotating galaxy lamp was a great touch, and he requested one for his birthday. I did move the tent from where it had been set up near the bathroom and room door onto his bed. It fit fine, was a safer option and he was cozy and comfortable all night. The restaurant was nice, although there needs to be kid friendly fare (with accompanying wallet friendly prices), rather than having to spend $18 for him to have a burger. Additionally, while I found the fries to be very tasty, they were too peppery/spicy for him, so his went uneaten. If you are serving a child, and do not offer child menu options, it would be helpful if servers asked if modifications were needed, i.e spice levels. Everyone we came into contact with were friendly and polite.|My only other issue is that when I checked in, I was not told there would be an added $50 charge to the room for incidentals. I was confused when the charge came through, and thought maybe it was very steep fees/tax, but afterward it dropped off and the price of just the room came through. So, just be sure to point that out at check in. Otherwise, my grandson and I enjoyed ourselves and he would love to go back.
