Our food tour of the Montmartre area was one of the best experiences we have booked through Viator. The tour undoubtedly was enhanced by the vast knowledge, passion, and local experience of our guide, Julie. Our 3.5 hour tour seemed to fly by as we visited some of the best establishments of the area and tasted French sweets, food, and wine. Many items that we had seen in windows but never tried were introduced to us with a background and history which enhanced our experience. Julie’s local knowledge and passion was evident in what she selected for us to sample and from shops we would never have found on our own. Additionally, our tour began near The Moulin Rouge and ended near the Sacre Couer Basilica. The route included a very scant 12 step climb along with a moderate incline through streets that were very scenic and historic. After the tour ended we used the steps near the funicular to begin our return to our hotel. I’m glad we ascended using the route we did as opposed to climbing the many steps or even standing in line to ride the funicular. Kudos again to Julie! If you have the opportunity to book this tour I highly recommend it!! Merci Julie!

Google
Great experience! Lots of tastings of popular French food. Great history lesson of montemarte. Remember to wear walking shoes (lots of walking) and proper attire for all weather (like an umbrella for rain). Katherine was wonderful.

Google
Our guide Dorine was great!! We had such a fun tour - great food and wine mixed with easy conversation and really interesting history and culture. Definitely a wonderful tour!

Google
Abby provided an excellent tour, not only providing great food and wine, but also great insight to the history of Paris, specifically the montmarte area! We would absolutely recommend this tour as an amazing way to get to know the city, the food, and the history of Paris more.

We enjoyed a wonderful morning at Les Halles Paul Bocuse with our guide Helen. She was prompt and very knowledgeable on the history and foods on display. She highlighted several things for us to sample, and we were given very generous samples of some fabulous food and wine. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the gastronomic delights in this iconic market in Lyon.

Julie was an amazing tour guide. All the stops were fantastic. Food was very good. I highly recommend the montemarte food tour.

Google
Great tour! Maria kept us in the shade when talking and we stopped in such cute places! Bunch of spots to fill up your water bottle. Would highly recommend.

Google
Highly recommend. Our guide Oscar was friendly and informative. Only 4 of us on the tour which was perfect. Oscar gave us history of Montmarte, art, writers etc. The tour was about 3 hours and did not feel rushed. You will see and feel life in Montmarte.

Yelp
This food tour in Paris is a must do! Not only was Richard so knowledgeable about food and was each place on the tour an amazing stop, but he is a Paris native, super fun and interesting guide who shows you his Paris, so you can experience a Paris that you never knew. This tasty tour is such a fun way to spend an afternoon! Like most food tours you get small bites to eat and lots of great information about a neighborhood full of amazing restaurants and finds! One of the best pieces of information I learned was how to find the right kinds of bakeries in Paris by looking at their signage outside. Definitely go the next time you are traveling to Paris! My phone was dying or I would have many more photos to share!

Yelp
Was visiting from the U.S and did a chocolate tour. It was fun, informative, and best of all, it was on foot so we were able to explore and see more of the city! We had an amazing time and our guide was very knowledgeable. He also provided us with a lot of tips on other things to do. I would definitely do it again :)

Yelp
This was a wonderful experience. Our guide Julie treated us to a tour of beautiful Montmarte, and lots of wonderful hidden gems along the way. There were lots of stops for delicious treats along the climb up the hill, with a nice wine and cheese tasting at the top, followed by more treats and a breathtaking view of Paris from the top of the hill at the end. I highly recommend this tour!

Yelp
Our group of 4 visited from the US, and had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Artur was very informative and helpful (he gave excellent food suggestions for us to try after the tour.) The food we sampled along the tour was excellent, and we were able to buy additional items if we so chose. The walking pace was excellent, not too fast for those who prefer a more leisurely stroll. I would highly recommend this for foodies and for anyone who want to experience a taste of Paris.

Yelp
We had so much fun on this tour with Antoine. He spoke Great English and showed us some amazing different shops that we would otherwise have not explored on our own. I love the fact that if somebody is vegetarian or pescatarian or something along that line the tour is able to accommodate you as well. Was a nice tour for a couple of hours so just make sure you have comfortable walking shoes.

Yelp
Julie was a superb guide. She was very knowledgeable about Paris, the neighborhoods, history, and local culture. Julie's family also owns a winery, and she shared her extensive wine knowledge with us at our sit down lunch. You won't leave this tour hungry, we sampled french wine and cheese, chocolate from an award winning chocolate shop, the best and most unique cream puffs in Paris and the world as far as I'm concerned, and many many more. By the end of the tour, we went to 9 different places, we were stuffed. Julie was incredibly friendly, spoke great english, and was so kind to everyone. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is coming to Paris.

Yelp
We took the food tour in the Montmartre neighborhood with our two children. Both the tour itinerary and our guide Arno were terrific. The neighborhood was a very interesting part of Paris that we would have probably not otherwise visited. We tried a variety of foods and learned a lot about french cuisine and the places that make and sell them that we hadn't previously been exposed to. Initially on booking I thought the price was a bit steep but I'm glad we booked the tour and would definitely do it again both in Paris and elsewhere with the company.

Yelp
Such a great tour! What better way to explore Paris - delicious food and wine and a knowledgeable guide to teach you a bit. Eric was fantastic - great english, even better personality. This was the best thing we did in Paris!

Arielle A.

Yelp
Eric was an AMAZING guide. He was friendly, fun, and gave us LOTS of tips and useful information that we continued to use for the rest of our trip (and info that I hope we never forget). Additionally, with his background and love for history he was able to give us even more information about the history of the city which is something me and my new husband both really enjoyed. It was a great start to our honeymoon and we are so grateful for the effort Eric took to go above and beyond what we could have expected. Five stars for Eric!

Yelp
I've had 3 food tours with Original Food Tours and it never disappoints. I've had the Chocolate tour and the Marais tours with Antoine and he is the best food tour guide ever. A former chef, he brings the historic and cultural history of the French on each of his tours. It's best to go on the tours on the weekdays as some shops will be closed on the weekend. Make sure you bring an empty stomach because you will be filled with delicious food and these tours.

Yelp
Travelling in place and time to experience chocolate from the 17th century in all its luscious exuberance to the sophisticated, understated taste explosions of the 21st century with a guide who knows and is known by the city's chocolatiers was pure joy. I learned not only about chocolate and patisserie (and ate enough of it to keep me going till Christmas) but also about the history, architecture and social habits of the Parisians. Who would have thought there were tea shops serving afternoon tea (a l'anglais) just to the south of the Seine and in some of the most picturesque settings imaginable but hidden from most tourists who limit themselves to the usual "selfie" opportunities of the Eiffel Tower and Arc du Triomphe. I can't wait to return for more tours - perhaps a Christmas one please?
