Pay these guys a visit and grab a piping hot pizza pie! Plus, it tastes even better when the next day! I’ll be pulling up a lot often now! Make sure you stop in, grab a whole pie and enjoy every bite.

Not the fanciest place but will get you pizza fix. Got a couple of slices and a Sicilian. The slice was good, the cheese was greasy and not salty good amount of sauce. Just wish it was left in the oven for another 30 seconds for a better crunch. The Sicilian was not as thick as normal places but the flavor of the cheese and sauce was on point. This place doesn’t have a lot of selections, either that or they closing shop soon and didn’t want to make anything else.

Pizza is good, taste like a regular pizza spot. I ordered 2 slices (1 cheese & 1 pepperoni) and I put Parmesan on it. Sorry for the picture quality, the flash was on. & I got an order of garlic knots. They’re not my favorite. I only eat garlic knots from Dominos.. so I am not a fan of these. But they’re decent, they aren’t bad. Just not for me. Prices: 1 cheese slice is $3, 1 pepperoni slice is $3.50, 6 garlic knots are $2

I ordered pizza and when it arrived, I opened the box to a smell I can only describe as a mix of throw-up and burnt oil. Despite the smell, I gave it a try because, really, how do you mess up pizza? Turns out, they found a way because the dough was completely raw. also I’ve never seen this before but the little white stuff on the sauce I think was also a part of the reason why the pizza smelled like throw up. if I were to guess I think they probably knew about the smell and tried to cover it up with seasonings. the bread is definitely old, the smell was definitely some kind of mold or rot since I have smelled old dough once it has been cooked before. I called the restaurant to explain, but the person I spoke to didn’t seem to understand what “raw” meant. He daid we should’ve specified “crispy” when ordering. It’s not about crispiness, pizza dough should at least be cooked! Mind you, i’ve ordered here before and never had to ask them to cook it until it’s not raw. When I asked for a refund or a solution, he told me, “What do you want me to do?” I was shocked by his attitude especially since it’s a health hazard. A simple refund or replacement would’ve been reasonable, but I got no help. This was a disappointing experience since I won’t be ordering from here again and i advise you before wasting your money on raw gross pizza.

Brooklyn-born and raised, this is the best slice on the block. Look out for their window service for Italian ices in the summer.

All the pizzas, it seems even the specialty pizzas, are $3, so I consider this place both DELICIOUS and a BARGAIN!

Had no idea places like these were still around ! Such a busy block/intersection too and all the guys working here are so nice and cool.

*** RECEIVED A GENERIC RESPONSE, NO REFUND, AND NO ATTEMPT TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION *** Sad I had to delete my original 5-star review of this restaurant and start over again, but I called and tried to resolve this with them and they blew me off. I've been ordering consistently from this place since I moved back into the neighborhood. When I got my pizza yesterday, I noticed the box was lighter than it usually is, but it was taped shut. When I got home, I was appalled to see that the usual 12 cut pizza I pay for was reduced to 8 tiny slices. My instinct was "well, let's never order from this place again," but I really try to support the small businesses around me. I called and expressed disappointment that the size went down to eight slices. The guy who answered the phone said, "well, we have a small and a large and we might have given you a small by accident." I replied, "well, I've paid the same price consistently, so if the error was on your part, how can we go about fixing this?" His response was, "you want to order or not?" After some time of trying to get through to him that I'd really love to reach a resolution here, I just thanked him for his time and hung up. It's sad we couldn't get to the bottom of what happened here, and why I received two different sizes on the same duplicate order. I've simply made the decision not to go back. The pizza is good, but it's not worth the confusion.

Came back 2 days later to give them another try and the pizza on point. Crispy and nice chew, the cheese was stretchy and salty. It was so good we got 2 large pies to fly home with us. Come out and support your local pizzeria. These guys are quick and will have you in and out before you know it.

This store stay for many many years already! Good pizza slice or whole for people whom live in bay rigde! Crispy crust, fresh tomato sauce and i really love margarita piza here! Give them a try if you around here!

This pizzeria is by far one of my favorite in NYC. The classic NYC slice can be well represented by good ole Originals pizza. They may very well have the thinnest slice of anywhere. It's the perfect cheese to marinara to dough ratio and even though it's a thin slice, it holds it all up very well. Nothing comes sliding off and nothing pisses me off more than all your cheese sliding off your slice of pizza. The taste is perfect in addition to the perfect ratio in the perfect bite. I go out of my way to come here and every single time does not disappoint.

For years my mother lived nearby, even though I didn't live far, in Sunset Park, I would always order pizza from here when I was there. Fast forward to now, I moved just a few blocks away and was happy I could start going here again; however, things seemed to have changed since 2010. I have ordered for delivery and went inside inn seven occasions since moving to Bay Ridge. The Pizza isn't as good as before, the service has declined--in particular, there's one rude and condescending worker here who I've had a problem with. On one occasion I came in and I was next, but the employee decided to let three people skip me. When I said something, he said I should have spoken up and he thought someone else took my order, but he was the inly one taking orders. Just a couple weeks ago I had a second run In with him. I saw a review written by someone which spoke ain't rude service--I assume it's the same individual. I may decide to just fInd a new pizza shop, as there's a plethora of them in the neighborhood.

The pizza and service is ok. Very hot inside especially during the summer, not much ventilation. It is a convenient location being next to the train station. I guess if your hungry an in a rush to take the subway, its a perfect spot for a grab and go!

Still a decent cheap slice though. It's a bit sad since the place either won't or can't raise prices, which just means that the more posh spots can afford to expand their quality lead over time. Oh well.

Eating pizza with my family and I found Hair on my pizza. Went to complain to the employee and he was nasty, his response was "no one has brown hair here" clearly the hair was one of the employees who made the pizza, my husband has no hair, my son hair is short and my hair is BLACK! Instead of giving me a refund he want to try to argue with me. "His response was what do you want me to do?" I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!! Btw all staff wasn't wearing gloves, no hair net and handling money and serving food at the same time. Very gross And unsanitary.. never again

Great pizza among a lot of heavyweights in the area. No nonsense and great price too consolider how much a pie cost these day with those big name places. I love getting it here for a good and economical pizza.

Pleasant guy took our slice order and pizza was pretty good. But we ate inside and no one asked us for proof of vaccine, and another guy behind the counter never put on a mask.

This is a good solid spot. I really enjoyed their fresh mozzarella Pizza. It's got the perfect amount of sauce and mozzarella cheese and it always taste fresh

This is my favorite pizzeria this side of Bay Ridge. It's a no frills shop with no real specialty pies but the ones they have hit the spot. Their veggie slices are loaded, plain is always good, but their version of a margherita pie called the Supreme is my personal favorite. Everyone has their own preferences though so although you may like the char on the bottom, my family usually requests they don't burn the bottom when we order for delivery and they're usually good on that request. Definitely recommend if you're looking for your go to neighborhood pizza joint.

The place is convenient for the neighborhood . I come here often just because it's near the movie theatre and stays open til late. Like every pizza shop you get fast service . Just to let's know they prefer cash only but if you do have card there is a minimum of $14 plus tax

My uncle Frank used to take me to this shoppe. Used to love it. The quality has gone way, way down and the employees are so RUDE. Also, the prices are too high for the crap they are throwing at cha. Avoid.

Let me start off by saying that I was a good customer of this place. But now this pizzeria has gone downhill. I ordered a regular cheese pie recently and it was HORRENDOUS!! JUST HORRIBLE! My main problem with it was that it smelled like someone else wrote on here-- like an old rag! It was the cheese that smelled like that. They must not be cleaning up properly at this place because it really did smelled like an old rag. Plus, it was a very small pie. One slice was even cut really small, like for a child. To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund I was treated rudely by them on the phone. I was told this--"other people ordered pies & had no complaints". So I said to them--"oh so you are saying that I'm lying". I told them I was a good customer & they didn't care. They had a very nonchalant attitude. Why would I waste my time with this anyway? My time is precious & I would not be wasting my time on this. They don't do refunds at all by the way which is also messed up. There are other pizzerias in this area that are way better!! I was ordering from this place more for the convenience. The pizza WAS good not the best to be honest but passable. IT IS NOT ANYMORE THOUGH! Do yourself a favor & avoid this place at all costs.

Thank God for Original Pizza. Seriously. Bay Ridge seems to have a pizzeria on every block, and yet not a single place, aside from Espresso (which, sadly, is outside my delivery zone), and Original, is consistently good. Not a single one. And when I say good, I mean *good*. Nicely charred on the bottom, thin crust, perfectly seasoned sauce, and great tasting cheese. After being let down many times from other pizzerias, this is the only place within delivery range of my apt. that I'll order from (hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by typing this!) Looking forward to trying their non-pizza dishes!

Pizza is really good would diff come again. Cheesy sauce is really good and bread is thin and crispy. Staff is nice and fast service

This has been my favorite pizza spot for YEARS. It is NY pizza at it's best. I can't speak for all the pizza options. I just get a regular slice every time. I know boring but it tastes great every time. Oh and they still have fountain soda and it's always good. I gotta have a fountain soda with my pizza. The line can get long but they move fast.

Where can you get all the flavor of Bay Ridge and a fantastic slice at the same time? Original Pizza, thats where! Open later (11pm usually, midnite on weekends) than most pizzerias, this place serves up consistently good pizza at any time of day. Sometimes it gets crowded, sure, but the pizza is worth it, and must just be the best in the neighborhood. Only caveat is delivery - not the best. Takes a while. Best to eat in the place itself.

Their pizza is definitely one of the better pizzerias in Bay Ridge. They also do white pizza, margaritas, calzones, rolls, beef patties, and whatever toppings you want. Conveniently located right outside the Manhattan bound side R train, this place has been here and should be here for a long time. It's good local pizza shop that should be on your try some time list.

Delivery is quick and on time. Customer service is friendly and quick. Food is absolutely delicious. One of the best pizzerias around. Their regular slices are super amazing as well as their garlic knots. Definitely recommend !!

Came here to grab some late night pizza a little before they were closing. Was a little weird since most pizza shop display their pizza. Their pizza was kinda hiding under the counter and not much selections. Either it was going to be a regular slice or a sicilian. Ordered one of each. The taste is better than your typical corner pizza joint. Had a good balance of cheese and sauce. The regular slice pizza was so thin. I kind of felt like I ate nothing after eating that slice. Probably would take many slice for me to get full. The sicilian slice was delicious also but on the small side. The pizza is good from this place but just didn't really like how they got so little selections and the pizza is not too filling compared to other places.

I really enjoyed this pizza because the ingredients were very fresh and the staff was very quick and nice!

I grew up on Originals as a young lass in Canarsie in the 70's and 80's. Its one of my favorite, no frills pizza. Fresh ingredients, great sauce and just enough oil that it absorbs into a strategically placed napkin at the corner of the fold, instead of down your wrist. The Canarise branch no longer sports the infamous margarita pie, but most of the others do. Each time I have a slice I am brought back to a time where neon socks, jelly shoes, Duran Duran and those dreaded legwarmers were all the rage. This pizza makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

For some reason I can't get away from this pizza. When I lived in Brooklyn Heights, my only option was My Little Pizzeria* based on its proximity to my apartment. Since I moved to Bay Ridge, I made it a mission to try all of the pizzerias in the area. Original's is on the way to the train, so I've been there quite a bit since moving. The first time I went to Original's, I noticed its similarity to My Little Pizzeria. The margarita, which both places called "pizza supreme" or something to that effect, was nearly identical. Still, I considered it mere coincidence. It wasn't until I went to order a pizza that I noticed the back of the menu. There was a picture of the three locations--Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Heights, and one on Avenue U. Anyhow, the pizza itself is good. I also like how both locations keep fresh basil on the counter. *Quite an awful name for a pizzeria.

Pizza done right, and cheap. They may have forgotten how to make a decent pizza in Manhattan, but not in the outer boroughs. Edit: It's four years since I moved to this neighborhood and I still grab a slice here all the time - however, maybe it's just me getting older but it seems greasier than it used to be. I don't like pizza that's too soggy. Anyway, it's still "real" NYC pizza, it's easy to sop up the extra oil with a napkin, and it's still dirt cheap - and still far better than almost anything in Manhattan.

This is my go-to pizzeria whenever I'm in Bay Ridge. Used to go here pretty often when I was in Brooklyn, but occasionally return to see what I've been missing. Very good pizza-although a bit on the chewy side-served with remarkable alacrity. Even if the pizza was simply average, it's worth visiting simply to marvel at the assembly line efficiency with which it's produced and served. Caveat: Your slice is made from scratch and is piping hot. I forgot just how scalding it is until this weekend. For those of you who like your pizza hot, you're in for a treat.

Convenient, neighborhood place to stop by and grab a slice of pizza after watching a movie that's located right near the subway station. Overall, the pizza that i've had here has been good(crisp, not dried out crust, and with just enough cheese.) They also carry Gino's italian ice, which i like and prefer to the other pizza parlor brand.

Good pizza! I got the fresh mozzarella and it was delicious! I came down here to get some things to drink and it was a perfect compliment for my late night activities!

I drive from Queens just to have a couple of slices here. From the first bite into the hot-out-of-the-oven, not too thin/not too thick crust, holding enough melted mozzarella cheese that seems to stretch and stretch and refuses to detach, to the flavorful sauce (I've experienced sauces which are too salty, this is perfect), it brings me back to my days of youth in Brooklyn, going to the pizzeria for a slice for $.50 (really, I've aged myself here) after school. This is true Brooklyn pizza to me, someone who grew up in Brooklyn. It's a good thing I don't live in the neighborhood, otherwise I'd be large, round and lumpy from a steady diet of pizza because the smell of it baking is enough to draw me in. On two occasions, I thought they closed down (store was shuttered) and it seemed impossible to find another pizzeria serving slices as good (even Ray's original doesn't taste so original anymore) but thankfully, they still stand on that 4th avenue corner open for service. As long as they are there and don't change the recipe, I will always make time to drive in from Queens just to get that delicious slice down memory lane.

Always my go to quick slice pizzeria. The crust is thin and crunchy, just the way I like it. The sauce is tasty and plenty of ooey gooey cheese. The rolls are pretty good too. And a major plus: they have fountain soda. In a time and place where pizzerias are at every corner, Original Pizza keeps me going back.

This is a pretty busy place, the pizza is okay. What I really like here is the white pizza slices, the mozzarella cheese and ricotta are so yummy. I have tried the regular slices they are fine but the best slice to me is the white. Just the flavor and texture without the sauce so good. Plenty of seating and friendly service.

Pizza is really good but service is not. Very rude . I understand that there's a minimum of $10 to charge credit card but as a regular customer why make a big deal when the price was a little over $9. No longer going here anymore because of the rudeness and unwelcome vibes from staff. It really is unfortunate because I have this pizzeria delivered to my house every weekend.

Very delicious and cheap pizza. I ordered every day from there. The margerita is the one that I like most . They also offer the garlic bread 4 peaces for 1 dollar. The staff are friendly and kind.

Great food... I came here b/c my usual spot was closed and i am glad i discovered this place!!!!! The fresh tomato & mozzarella slice was indeed FRESH even @ 10:30pm and so was the grandmas slice. also they have fresh basil to top the slices with in addition to the usual staples of garlic, oregeno etc... I WILL be back :)

Absolutely the best NewYork thin crust pizza one can have. We knew the pizza would be good when we saw it filled with locals. The cheese tasted devine and the crust was a perfect chewy texture. A must if your in this Brooklyn neighborhood!

Suprised it took it this long to goto this neighborhood pizzaria! If I didn't miss my bus, I wouldn't have step in, I've been going to Ricky's closer to my apt but it has been very disappointing lately. The service was quick, and there are plenty of seats if you decide to stay. the crust is thin and crispy, w right amount of cheese and tomatoes sauce, simple and satisfying!

I love to order the grandma slice and the squares from this place. Very nice display of food at the counter and the staff is quick. Last time I visited, they use a vintage cash register, pretty neat. At times, if in the mood, garlic knots are ordered (these are pre-made and re-heated, but still tasty). Good place to grab a slice and very easily accessible from the bus stop and train station. Very positive and tasty experience here.

The first time it happened I didn't think much of it. They were kind enough to replace the pie. The second time, ok, no big deal, they'll replace the pie. The third and last time...They just delivered a pie and the smell of a a dirty rag (best description for the odor) coming from the pie is to the point where it's not even edible. This is officially the last time I ever eat from this filth hole again........ there are plenty of other comparable, if not better, pizza places in the neighborhood.

Ok. The place is definitely not the same and I'm not referring to the people. However, I still did not just walk out after ordering 4 slices for my family. I told a friend to meet me there out of convenience and was looking to order a pie for the extra friends. My lovely wife suggested to ask the manager if we can order an additional 4 slices on top of the 4 previously ordered to make it a pie on top of the pie I was looking to order for my friends. Since, I would have paid an additional $5 for the same amount of slices. Once I asked, I received a cold, DMV attitude. So, instead of accommodating a patronage of 15 years let alone with attitude. He lost the sale of an additional 4 slices plus drinks and an additional pie plus drinks. However, he did gain a bad review and a negative recommendation to local friends.

Original Pizza has one of the best pizza I've ever had! A regular slice has a thin, crispy crust and never lacking in cheese or flavor. But my all time favorite is their Sicilian slice. The crust is thick and crispy but it also MELTS-IN-YOUR-MOUTH. YUM! Makes me hungry for it just thinking about it. A slice is about $2.50 which is average for New York. BTW, the chicken rolls are also one of the best! Its about $4.50 but i recently realized that the chicken rolls are shrinking in size :(
