It's an enjoyable stroll. A fair amount of food vendors. But almost completely devoid of produce. One small-scale vendor. Considering how much space you have here and how beautiful the park is, you would think you would be able to attract any number of great vendors. Anyway, we still go and enjoy it, but it certainly lacks on the "farmers market," as the name suggests. Some vendors are better than others, like any place. It just seems like a missed opportunity. Admission to the farmer's market is free, but it'll cost you between $10 and $20 to park. It's in a nice safe area of town with lots of walking with swans and ducks in the iconic fountain-centered Lake Eola.

Google
Definitely a great place to spend time but there wasn’t much produce available. They had only one stall for local produce and limited variety, for a farmers market one would expect more . Other than that , there are lots of vendors , you can shop eat and also go pedal boating in lake eola and also feed the swans . There’s also a large group of people practicing yoga . Parking is bit of an issue so arrive early to find great spots .

Google
Very good farmers market around Lake Eola. there is all of Localy Grow and very good quality, in addition to finding food to eat, clothing , etc. It's totally recommended. You can also walk and walk around the lake for 1 mile. There are also live yoga classes.

Google
We got time on our last day in Orlando and decided to do tour of the market. Lots of vendors, crafts, food, local artists. Swans all around the lake. We fed them with salad leaves 🍃. Cool experience for kids and adults alike!

Google
I absolutely loved this outdoor market! The setting by the lake couldn’t have been more perfect. There were lots of vendors with a good variety of food and other items. It was a great, laid back family atmosphere with lots of dogs on leashes and live music playing.

Google
Pretty place to walk around, good variety of stands but watch out for cars around 2pm when all the stands get put away.

I visited the Orlando Farmers' Market with high hopes of finding fresh, local produce, but sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. The one tent selling produce seemed promising, but the prices were way too high. I expected a farmers' market to offer reasonably priced, fresh fruits and veggies, but it felt more like a tourist trap. The other tents were a mixed bag – overpriced vendors selling fried food, fruit juices, hot dogs, and everything but what I'd consider genuine farmers' market fare. It left me questioning if this market caters more to tourists looking for quick bites than those seeking fresh, local produce. As a tourist myself, I was genuinely hoping to experience the local flavors and bring home some farm-fresh goodies. Unfortunately, I left feeling a bit let down. If you're after a true farmers' market experience, you might want to explore other options. They should consider renaming this venue. Street parking free on Sunday. The location is set in the park which was nice for taking a walk.

My, my, my. Have you ever dreamed of lying on a blanket in the shade of a huge oak tree next to a beautiful lake on a warm summer’s day? Imagine the aroma of fresh kettle corn luring you toward farmer’s market stalls along the sidewalks next to the shady grass you’re resting on. Every Saturday there’s an eclectic and fun Farmer’s Market (with almost 0 farm produce 😂) along one side of Lake Eola. Among the offerings are wonderful artisan breads, fruit smoothies, lemonade, kettle corn, delicious ethnic foods, county fair vittles, leather goods, clothing, dog vests, collars and leashes, paintings, glass and clay art works, jewelry - costume and fine, incense, jams, sauces, etc. and so on! Lake Eola itself is a lovely lake in the heart of downtown Orlando. Take a walk along the pretty path around the lake and you can see a huge iconic fountain that many will recognize, a large rainbow pavilion, a small amphitheater, and a beautiful sculpture of flying white birds along the shore, as well as a stunning view of part of the downtown Orlando skyline. Stray a bit from the path and you can find stately old homes nearby. Bottom line? Orlando can be inordinately proud of this sweet, well-maintained, swan-infested lake. I enjoy it every time I go, no matter what the occasion!

Thiago S.

Yelp
I love spend the Saturday there! Come early! The best food and drinks ends early! Enjoy the lake and the path around it for a good walk! Fast service and nice people! Hard to park. Look for a spot under a tree and enjoy a nice breakfast!

Yelp
It's probably been 5+ years since I've been to the Orlando Farmer's Market at Lake Eola, and my how it has grown! My mother-in-law was in town this past weekend and we were looking for a fun outdoor activity or somewhere we could walk around with our baby for a bit since the weather was absolutely gorgeous. We decided to head downtown to the farmer's market. Parking is always a challenge around Lake Eola during this time. If you're lucky enough to find street parking, it's free on Sundays, but we were not lucky and ended up parking in a nearby garage for $4/hour. Upon entering the vendor area around the lake, it was very packed and busy which was nice to see. There is a combination of local makers, plants & goods, food trucks/pop-ups, and various beverage options like coffee and fruit mocktails. My only complaint is that we saw literally one fresh produce vendor selling fruits and veggies. I was looking to buy some produce but thought there would have been more options. Regardless, it was still enjoyable to walk around and explore all the different offerings. We had the baby in a stroller and he really loved all the sights, doggos, and fresh air. I got a fresh coconut to drink which is always a must, along with a big bag of kettle corn to take home. Eggdose is also popped up here on Sundays which is my new breakfast obsession. The holiday decor is also almost complete around the lake along with the big downtown Christmas tree, so there will be lots of fun photo ops and I'm sure it will look beautiful lit up at night.

Joe K.

Yelp
What a great little unexpected adventure! They had everything you could imagine from food to craft work to art. I loved walking through this experience and falling in love with some amazing products.

Barbara B.

Yelp
Wonderful experience on a Sunday morning. Love to take family from out of town here when you're not up for spending a small mortgage at the parks. One of orlando's gems!

Ashleigh K.

Yelp
This is the best Sunday activity!!! The market is from 10 am to 3 pm each Sunday at lake Eola park. There are tons of vendors from food, to services, to crafts, plants and more. It's such a good activity for friends or family and even your pets!!! My favorite place to eat there is Teal Kitchen, they have fried chicken wings and seafood and the food is to die for!!! So delicious and fresh.

Mai Y.

Yelp
It's a cool place to visit if you're in the Orlando area. Lots of food vendors and some craft/things vendors. I was a little disappointed that there were not any fruit vendors. I was looking forward to buying some tropical fruits but there were none.

Michael S.

Yelp
Everyone was super friendly and super approachable. Filled with amazing food snaks and wonderful merchandise. It is a great way to spend a sunday with friends and just lay back and enjoy the day.

Krissia G.

Yelp
I've been real crazy lately about what we purchase at the super markets lol, becase honestly everything looks suspicious! Specially chicken! Anyway I decided to do some research and find a farmers market on Mother's day for me to purchase some fresh produces, honey, and other essentials I was looking for ! First and foremost the fact that this is located in lake Eola is the best ! If you haven't been to lake Eola I highly recommend you do so! Location is beautiful and the views are great. My first time going to a farmers market in Florida and I loved it ! We met so many great people and vendors. We decided to grab some produces as well as try some delicious food! There was a local vendor there selling some fruits and veggies and of course I went crazy because everything looked so fresh and not twice it's size lol like how you see in some super markets. Until this day my veggies are still fresh! The strawberries were so sweet and delicious. If you haven't tried the Teal kitchen here please do so! The fries, the shrimp the lobster tail omg so delicious! It was enough for me and my husband to share! We even had enough to take home! We also grabbed some juices from Raw tent which was fresh and I can taste every single ingredient my husband grabbed the green goddess and I grabbed the lean, mean green juice. That one was definitely more on the healthy healthy size lol. It's very cleansing! We will definitely return! Just an fyi Parking can be a little bit of a nightmare so it's a hit or miss to get something close.

Yelp
The Orlando Farmers Market has something for everyone -- dozens of food, beverage, craft and jewelry vendors. It's fantastic! From specialty pickles, vegan empanadas, and gluten free pasta to smoked meats. They have local honey, organic coffee, fresh produce, and even a tarot reader.... A fabulous way to spend a Sunday outside and enjoying Lake Eola! Finding free parking around the lake is tricky, so I know ahead of time to avoid the stress and pay $5 to park in one of the lots near Persimmon Hollow. The farmers market is held on Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm, but I recommend earlier than later for the best time.

Kerry B.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting the Orlando Farmers market this past Sunday and boy did I have a great time. The farmers market sprawls all over beautiful Lake Eola Park in the heart of downtown Orlando. There were some really awesome food options. All kinds of entertainment including live music. There was a small section of fresh fruits and vegetables. And all kinds of vendors selling jewelry, candles, pet supplies and more. The whole park is doh friendly and there were fur babies in obundance. The highlight of my visit was the vendor who sold the fried catfish and fries. For $13 it was plenty of food and obsolutely delicious. Can't wait for this weekend. I'll be back.

karen k.

Yelp
What a beautiful setting to grab a snack and watch the lake. Live the swans and paddle boats. Parking is a nightmare but there are lots to use. Best to just accept paying $8-10 and being done with it. Lots of fun good vendors. Was crowded when we went but still fun.

Gabrielle R.

Yelp
I hadn't been to the farmers market in a very long time, but I thoroughly enjoyed going with my friends. I was able to get some dog treats for my puppies and they thoroughly enjoyed them. You also have a different variety of food that you're able to choose from out there if you're hungry and a lot of different vendors from dog treats to homemade candies and clothing. They're open every Sunday so it's always a good outing if you want to go with the family. You can also walk off any food that you've eaten at the farmers market at Lake Eola. definitely worth visiting

Rebecca S.

Yelp
I love this market! I've been going for years and I love the diversity in food. This past Sunday I discovered an amazing Jamaican beef patty vendor (trying to remember the name) right across from the BBQ vendor. I'm drooling thinking of how hot, flaky and tasty it was. Will definitely get one every time I go. Don't forget to stop by the hummus vendor called 'friends'. They are amazing with letting you sample a bunch of dips. The dips are fresh and healthy. I faithfully stop at their booth every time I go. Going back to the actual market... it sits on a beautiful lake perfect for taking a nice walk alone, with family or with your pet which is a nice plus. The vendors that cater to animal accessories usually have water bowls for the dogs. If you're ever in the area, stop in and support the vendors!

Gustavo A. L.

Yelp
This event gets a solid five star review. We are so fortunate in Orlando to have a regular Farmer's Market like this one to enjoy our Sunday Mornings and early afternoons. Plenty of interesting Vendors and if you are looking for produce... guess what? you can even find some pretty good veggies to take home and create some healthy meals back home. We stock up on good goat cheese, amazing produce, always have a good cup of coffee and say hello to old friends. Make it an event, come out every Sunday, it will be well worth your while.

John M.

Yelp
The Orlando Farmers Market is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Be advised that parking can become somewhat of a nightmare getting here. But once inside Lake Eola Park and visiting the vendors, I am confident that you will find it was worth the headache. I will.give this Market five stars. Again, it is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon perusing (and purchasing) from local vendors.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
They are open from 10am-4pm just make sure to come out early to lake Eola park because the free parking on Sundays is hard to find and is a pain in the butt or you can pay for $5 parking across the street just make sure to have cash on you! There are lots of different vendors so much good food and drinks to choose from! I got the cheese arepa, Cinnabon, beef jerky and coffee! All items were tasty and delicious! This park is dog friendly and great place to spend time with friends or family on a Sunday funday!

Melinda S.

Yelp
The Orlando Farmer's Market at Lake Eola is a nice market to walk around and do some shopping or just enjoy the day outside. They have a lot of different vendors selling anything from veggies, fruits, fresh pasta, cheese, dressings, to arts, crafts, personal care items, to food truck munchies for a yummy snack or lunch. The market can get a bit crowded at times, but it's still fairly easy to get around and check out the booths you're interested in. Dogs are very welcome so you can bring your furry friend along for a fun outing! I always enjoy walking around the market itself and then taking a nice stroll around Lake Eola. Overall, this is a nice farmer's market and a fun place to enjoy a Sunday outing.

Jay M.

Yelp
This is one of more fun and eclectic farmers market and offers lots of food, drinks and shopping choices for both adults and children! The food variety ranges from healthy vegan options to burgers and tacos etc! One of our new favorite is the family who runs the Ethiopian spot! Also the location is great for a walk around lake Eola before or after trying the yummy food offerings! Also tons of other restaurants all around for a more sit-down lunch/brunch!

Eric M.

Yelp
Wonderful way to spend a Sunday in Orlando We were in town for a girls trip and decided to visit the Farmers' Market before we flew home. It was a great choice. We got to see a different side of Orlando and have some really great food at Cubanoz. There were tons of people there and almost as many dogs. If you want to spend some time away from the theme parks, I highly recommend checking this out. It would also be a great stop if you're staying in a condo and want to stock your kitchen with some fresh food.

Ethan T.

Yelp
This is an awesome farmers market and great experience at Lake Eola. There are a lot of food vendors and so many culinary options. This market is very dog friendly as they were everywhere. A really interesting compilation of vendors, artisans, and cuisines.

Kathy K.

Yelp
A very nice farmers market located in downtown Orlando at Lake Eola. I enjoyed a fresh young coconut water $4 for a medium coconut from one of the many booths. We also had kettle popcorn. One fruit and vegetable booth. We enjoyed a nice walk around the lake with many swans and other birds. We spotted a swan at her nest protecting her eggs. Groups of people enjoying yoga and other outdoor classes. Also a J&J COVID vaccine mobile unit.

Amy C.

Yelp
I've been coming to the farmers market for a few months now. Maybe 1-2 Sunday's a month. It's a nice place to hangout for a relaxing Sunday funday. There's enough vendors to check out for shopping and food. There is an area of table and benches to sit down and eat. Or you can bring a blanket and have a picnic. Plenty of space. The farmers market is kid friendly and dog friendly. The only thing I don't like is that the food vendors are the same every time. I would like to see different food vendors or more added. I just feel like it's the same options every time.

Aleema R.

Yelp
Great Sunday atmosphere! I enjoying grabbing some wine, strolling along and shopping at our local vendors. The food is delicious. They have many different food vendors from Asian, Hispanic, Jamaican to fresh coconut water and virgin mojitos! If you're not into crowds or dogs then maybe just take the scenic walk around the lake and stop into the grill across the way. Definitely a great time and love being an Orlandian! :-)

Geraldine U.

Yelp
So there isn't much produce but it's still a fun place to go. A bunch of vendors for desserts, food, drinks, and other assorted things. My favorites: - the guy by the lake who sells the cinnamon rolls - $3 for warm goodness - the green tea mojito - the mexican street food

Sarah R.

Yelp
I usually come here every Sunday weather is beautiful even though we leave in Florida make sure you got shorts or a hat lol i usually go to get an Acai Bowel from my 2 favorite guys. We also take some good walks and enjoy seeing all the vendors and their home made pieces, haha I always leave with something let me tell you that. Never a regret!!

Melissa N.

Yelp
For a farmer's market, they don't really have many produce vendors. Many reviews have pointed this out. I think they mostly sell crafts and handmade items. However, it is still have relaxing way of spending a Sunday afternoon. They have yoga, live music and the beer & wine garden. It's just fun to walk around and get some exercise in. There are plenty of food vendors. I haven't tried them all. I did tried Cubanoz; they sell a pretty good Cuban sandwich. It's family friendly and dog- friendly too. Overall, 4 stars.

Barbie C.

Yelp
Coming to the Farmers Market on Easter Sunday was an excellent choice for a family outing. If you go hungry there are so many different food selections to choose from. There was cuban food, filipino food, frozen drinks, Italian ice, baked goods and plenty more. If you're not into grabbing something to eat (some spots are pricey, but delicious) there are also fresh vegetable stands and arts and craft things you can purchase. And if buying things in general isn't your thing then the people watching alone is great. But let's not forget all cute animals to see and meet. Overall there is a little bit of everything for you to enjoy and entertain yourself with.

Luis M.

Yelp
I love the farmers market every Sunday! We get so excited that we get to go to our favorite vendors and support the small business. Here are a few of our favorites! 1 Tia plantain chips. They are to die for. Fresh, tasty and crispy! 2 Açaí bowls. Very refreshing and full of flavor in every bite! 3 Cake in a Jar! Not sure if the same if the business but they sell cake in a mason jar! YUMMMM every time! 4 Mojitos! Soooooo REFRESHING!!!!! 5 BBQ station. Never fails. Great tasting bbq full of flavor and amazing spicy bbq sauce. If you ever get a chance to stop by. Try these out. You won't be disappointed!

Rachel S.

Yelp
I visited with friends on Sunday afternoon and it was bursting with people, nearly all without masks. Even the trails along Lake Eola were very crowded. There were lots of stalls with things for everyone, cheese-lovers, vegans, you name it. Not as much fresh produce as I would hope, but a lot of things were starting to run out by 2pm. I'd go again at an earlier hour with hopefully less people and a larger selection of goods!

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
Wow! Sunday was my first time at the Orlando Farmers Market and it was so nice and quite large. There are many different items that local businesses sell. They range from food to clothing to items for your pet. Every time I stopped at a booth, I was always greeted with a warm welcome and the person working that booth would either ask if I need help with anything or talk about their products. Just so much care and passion in what they're trying to sell. Orlando Farmer's Market is a great place for families, a day out with your significant other or just a day with your friends. Grab some brunch and visit the farmers market or vice versa! Cheers!

Jackeline F.

Yelp
When we first moved to Orlando almost 8 years ago, this farmers market was the first one we visited. I stopped going because their really was only one stand with veggies, fruits and other "farm" fare. We returned because we were chasing the Sugar Rush Marshmallow Truck/Stand, which were AMAZING! Don't get me wrong, this certainly is a "market" but it is not a "farmers" market. There was one mediocre farm stand that had a small amount of vegetables, spinach, peppers, sweet potatoes, I bought a bag of spinach. They were also grilling fresh corn which was a bonus but for $3, come on. And that was it, no fruits, no other vegetables. No other farm items. This market does have an abundance of cooked food stands, tacos, dumplings, empanadas, bbq, burgers and hot dogs. They also have drinks, wine, beers, lemonade from local vendors. Also, from local vendors, an array of crafts, paintings, art, home made soaps, stuff for your pets, t-shirt vendors and other items.

Scott D.

Yelp
Really popular Farmers Market in the heart of downtown Orlando. Located on the walkway around Lake Eola, it has a lot of vendors and draws a nice crowd. Many people bring their dogs, lay out on the open grass areas, or enjoy live music. It's mostly covered with large oak trees so it's a comfortable experience. It is right next to downtown Orlando so easy to walk after. A great place to stop in if visiting Orlando! Only other thing to note is that it's not a market heavily catered towards fresh fruits, veggies, etc. it's mostly craft items and pre-made food.

Hong An N.

Yelp
Orlando Farmer's Market at lake Eola on Sundays is one of the many feel good things that Orlando has to offer. I really enjoy going here, even if I don't end up buying anything. It is a nice spot to check out local goods, people watch, look at cute doggies, have a picnic and take a scroll around the lake. The farmer market has a large variety of vendors. It is probably one of the best and biggest farmer markets I have been to. You can come to buy anything from veggies, ready to eat food, honey, soap, dog treats, aprons etc. The list goes on. My favorite vendors are ones that sell lemonade, coconut, soap, beef jerky, corn, honey and açaí. My perfect Sunday consists of getting corn or açaí bowl with a lemonade or coconut drink here, pick a spot in the shades, enjoy my food and drinks while looking into the beautiful lake. Every single vendor is super nice, friendly and they are happy to be there. It gives you a good feeling that you are buying local organic food while helping local farmers and small businesses. Aside from the food, there are usually other activities here as well. There is a guy that brings his pet snakes for people to pet. Also, there is a guy that molds balloons into interesting shapes to sell. On top of all of this, there is a guy that plays guitar really well. He makes the experience of coming here even better than it already is. Overall, I highly recommend coming here on Sundays. It is truly a feel good thing to do and is a great start to the week!

Janos J.

Yelp
Eola Park is a gorgeous park, but what makes this park even better is their Sunday Farmers Market. During our vacation here, we stopped by the market and had a fantastic time. Now, to be completely honest they really do not have that many farmers here, though what they do have is a nice selection. They have potatoes, corn, fresh mushrooms, strawberries, pears, apples, pineapples, broccoli, kale and others, I just forgot. The majority of the market is a variety of tents selling homemade items like soaps, sugar scrubs, freshly pressed juices, meats, jerky's, hand bags, jewelry, tee shirts, pet items, arts and crafts and a bunch of other things. On the wooden bridge by the playground they have the farmers and a bunch of food vendors. Overall, this is a wonderful place to hang out and buy products to help support the local community. We definitely will be back next year. I'd highly recommend coming here if you are in Orlando over the weekend. The prices are very reasonable too. [Review #370] (16th Review of 2016)

Yelp
Lovely setting on Lake Eola. Not really a farmers market. Lots of tents with food and drinks, crafts and jewelry. Great vibe, families, couples, dogs. We got there early and were able to get street parking nearby. We were visiting Orlando and looking for some way other than theme parks to spend the day.

Kaleb M.

Yelp
Warning: This event does not put the FARM in FARMERS MARKET. We came to the farmers market on Sunday, even though it was a little chilly. The wind was whipping and it felt like rain all day. As we started our walk, we browsed through dog treats, soaps, candles, and other types of small vendors. Then we got to the heart of the market! The food! There were a lot of different vendors selling all types of food products, some fresh and ready to be eaten in the moment, and other packaged for convenience. The variety at this market for food is amazing, but it seemed to be lacking one big ticket item -- produce!!! There was only ONE stand selling farm fresh fruits and veggies. Possibly because of the poor weather? Maybe in the future there will be stands selling farm fresh produce, milk, and eggs. As for now, we will go to enjoy the fresh juices and specialty foods!

Pamela J.

Yelp
Idk, it's ok. It's not California. I feel that every time I go to this area - Lake Eola. Like it's relatively cute but also inherently depressing. Can't put my finger on why. Tons of homeless, which I have no issue with. Heck, one guy was so sweet saying, "damn! that's one fine looking white woman!", as I passed by. So idk, maybe I'm picking up the drugs or depravity or something or the fact that it is Orlando - central Florida - and not hip and cool Los Angeles. The FM is relatively good but then has cranky Floridians selling there too. It's just not a warm and fuzzy overall vibe for me. And I love love love going to farmer's markets so it's a shame.

Daniel H.

Yelp
Great time for the family on a Sunday evening... great local businesses selling food, crafts and produce. There is a little something for everyone and it helps that the view is amazing and relaxing. If you are able to make it there you must try the tamales and frescas at The tamale CO and there is a little Italian truck there that sells fresh Italian food and refreshing açaí bowls.

Katherine R.

Yelp
Love stopping by the Lake Eola Farmers Market on Sunday mornings! This farmers market is within walking distance of my house and just about any weekend I am off work I stop by to see what they've got going on. I will say they generally have the same booths but they mix it up a little with which craft vendors are there each week. My favorite vendor is Camelot Breads, they make the BEST homemade bread I have had in my life. Not kidding, the best. Some other great vendors are Over Rice, The Pierogi Hut, Che Bella Cheeses, and theres a guy who sells an awesome Tandoori rub. They also have a small section with fresh fruits and vegetables, a bonsai tree/plant area, art, a message booth, a spot to grab drinks if its past noon I think, fresh-made kettle corn booth, and plenty of great spots for a bite to eat! Honestly though one of the best parts about this market is the gorgeous Lake Eola views and getting to sit buy the lake and people watch for awhile. Highly recommend checking it out!

Nicolas G.

Yelp
This is such a fun Farmer's Market to go to. You got people like Earthy Picks, Teal Kitchen, Thirsty Husky, House of Jerks, Belanger Bagels, and Simply Sweets making good quality food that would brighten your day up very well. The vendors are awesome and they have such a wide variety for you to check out and they never disappoint. Always something new and satisfying

Annabelle M.

Yelp
Second time coming here and I love it so many people pet friendly park and lots of different food to pick and all kinds of vendors to check out the place to go and enjoy

Yelp
It was accidental serendipity that had me wandering thru the Sunday Orlando Farmer's Market at Lake Eola. I was actually in the area to check out Cyclovia (https://www.yelp.com/events/orlando-ciclovia-bike-roll-and-stroll-on-robinson-st) and the activities of the event sort of segued into the Farmer's Market which was cool. I think, because it's called Orlando Farmer's Market I was expecting a lot more produce, but there was only 1 shop selling veggies! So this definitely seems to be more of a non-traditional market, focusing more on shops selling plants, artwork, handmade craft items like jewelry, paintings, stained glass, photography, pottery, handmade candles, oils, handbags, backpacks and soap. There were also stalls selling baked goods but the majority of fresh food was collated together into a sort of beer garden type area and there was a live acoustic singer featured in this area, which was pretty cool. I enjoyed how dog friendly this market was - there was one stall that had a water bowl out and I saw many a dog nosing their way to this stall, owner in tow. Overall, it was a nice wander and a lovely way to spend an afternoon wandering thru the stalls. perfect family afternoon. Note: #387 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

Yelp
So the market opens at 10am. We decided to show friends from out of state the Farmer's Market. We arrived around 10:45a and were able to get free street parking. However, those who do not get the free parking and need to park in the garages, make sure to use the farmer's market option. We walked around and ordered two dog bandanas at the Lavendar stall. They didn't have a wait but we know the wait can be up to 1 hour during the busy period. Highly recommended! Andrew got a Cuban sandwich from the Cubano stall. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! It was absolutely delicious and no issues with my GERD. I ordered the Dos Amigos from the Mexican Street Food stall. It definitely can feed two people so we were stuffed. The tamales were well made and melted in our mouths. Oh! And the aguas frescas were not too sweet, just perfect. Another highly recommended place to try. Overall, our friends loved this place. We recommend spending the morning/afternoon here. There's so much to do!

Yelp
Enjoyed a very beautiful Sunday morning here recently. They have this market every Sunday in lake Eola park in downtown Orlando. This outdoor market is a fairly decent size and features all kinds of items for sale. For example, handmade clothing, handcrafted crafts and jewelry, natural made beauty products, homemade food products from exotic countries/cultures, fresh produce, etc. There's just so many things you can find here. There's live music and plenty of seating for resting. On hot days, the benefit of having this market in Lake Eola Park are the tree coverage. There are many food vendors here that cater to all types of tastes. I thoroughly enjoyed myself walking through this market. The samples many of the food vendors provide make for good appetizers before your lunch/brunch also. :-) I'm always finding unique things to bring home during my visit here. Food and drinks are good too. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this market is definitely worth a visit at least once.

Yelp
This fun market has grown a fair amount over the years. When it first started it was only a couple of booths right on one small area. Now it has expanded down to the lake and beyond. If you're looking for a fruit and veggies based farmers market this one comes up a little short, with only one booth offering those items. However, there are lots of other fun things to check out here. You'll find homemade dog treats, organic soaps, hand carved wooden keepsakes, mom and pop bread bakers and more! There is even a fresh seafood vendor that is a regular here. Overall: A Take a leisurely stroll around the lake and then refresh with a lemonade or popsicle and enjoy the shopping.

Yelp
Always have a good time here. I always have the goal to get the same 3 things. Green tea Mojito, grilled corn and freshly popped kettle corn. They have a lot of good varieties from bbq, Mexican, Filipino and Hispanic dishes. Most of the vendors have samples for you to try which usually leave you wanting more and more! Other then food lots of crafts, and some small businesses like massages and even a tarot card reader.

Yelp
I come here every Sunday I can. Nothing lifts your spirits quite like hand crafted goods and good wholesome produce and products. One of my favorite things to do is getting a bottle of JJ Juice (the stand over by the lake, going towards the kids park). It's an Aloe based orange juice drink. It's incredible! The dip stand is also a personal favorite of mine. They come in small individual packages that make 8-16 oz dips. They're packed with flavor (pun intended)! The market also consists of other specialty vendors for baked goods, honey, hot sauce, cheese, etc. Beautiful scenery, produce and hand crafted goods, great food, how else would you spend a Sunday morning?

Yelp
This was not what I was expecting for a farmers market -- but in a good way. Warning , they don't have much in the way of produce and plants ... It is more of an outdoor festival. The best plan of attack is to grab your dog and come hungry. There were so many tantalizing food choices which was fantastic! Green tea mojitos (non alcoholic) from the Cuban place (4$) were perfect in the slight heat and I also noshed on empanadas (2$ ea) right in front of the central part of the market. There is a bar cart in the middle with unlimited mimosas for 15$. We didn't partake with our friends because we had a few too many the night before, but they were happy with them and it was a great way to spend the afternoon. There was also live music from Tom Sartori going on (who was fantastic) and plenty of people watching (hello there lone dancing man and drunkies). The best part is the feeling of the market -- people and family strolling and the area is incredibly walkable (and house envy while walking through Lake Eola Heights).

Yelp
2018 Review 71/100 A great farmers market in Central Florida. I prefer the Winter Park Farmers Market just a little bit more but OFM is great too and certainly larger than some others in the area. A lot of great vendors with a variety of cool items ranging from food and drink, to goods and produce. Fun tip: There are so many great restaurants in the Lake Eola/Thornton Park area. So, you can easily make a really fun morning of it by grabbing brunch nearby either before or after hitting the Farmer's Market. Or, just do a traveling brunch by stopping at the different stands for noms as you walk around the Market. The downside: Parking. It's hard to find. Especially if you come a little later in the morning. Downtown parking is always tough but finding any street parking nearby is virtually impossible when the Market is at its busiest. I definitely recommend arriving on the early side to try to avoid the rush. Otherwise, you may have to pay to park in a garage.
