Best Things to Eat at Oracle Park, Home of the San Francisco Giants | Eater SF

"Building on the vendor's beloved Cha Cha Bowl, a new chimichanga combines jerk chicken, Swiss cheese, and chipotle crema and is presented as an immediate win; the kiosk is a nod to Puerto Rican Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda, who debuted for the team in 1958." - Paolo Bicchieri

If your reading this, the location to the restaurant is IN THE PLAZA ON THE SECOND FLOOR, up the escalator and straight forward on the left hand side. The location mapped by google maps is wrong! Absolutely loved the food, the rich flavors and warm welcome to this hidden gem. Was craving and found this place by accident and was thankful I came to the right place! Highly recommend this place. Purchased the medium curry goat, coleslaw and pineapple drink

Visited this place on a Saturday evening and ordered 2 meals - a jerk chicken and a cow foot meal. Both dishes were honestly so delicious! The cow foot was flavourful and quite succulent and the Jerk chicken was well seasoned and flavourful - one of the best I have tasted so far in the GTA (And trust me I have tried quite a number of Jamaican restaurants). I think what I really liked was that the food tasted like authentic Jamaican cuisine. The gentleman who served us was really friendly too – which made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back!

Came by here recently. Actually stopped by 2 or 3 times before but each time there was nobody there to take my order so I left. This time there was somebody at the front counter and I ordered the lunch special. The only issue is I wasn't told that they only have jerk chicken and not the other 3 options for the lunch special. I had already paid by that time All in all, the food was really good and fresh and that's what matters. I think 4 stars is fair but I am willing to make it a 5 if the next visit is better in terms of service

Google
Orlando’ restaurant is a great place if you are looking for authentic, top quality Jamaican cuisine. So far i have been there twice, first time had the oxtail and this time the curry goat. Both times were excellent!!! Today had the added bonus of meeting both Mr. and Mrs Orlando and let me say they are a delight, not only because the make great food but we had a very enjoyable conversation. This is a definite must try!!! You wont be disappointed !!!

This place is hard to find but when you do it is amazing. Park underground follow the signs to the shops. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and walk all the way to the end there’s a food court. 100% must try! We ordered the ackee and saltish, it was made fresh and was very delicious. The festivals were nice and soft. The customer service was great and the wait wasn’t long at all.

I found this place on google because I was in the mood for some Jamaican food. There located in a business centre at Weston & 7 so I called ahead to get proper directions to find the restaurant. I was able to find it and order what I wanted the way I preferred to have a balanced meal with protein, carbs and veggies. I enjoyed my meal and decided to return and invite a co-worker with me. On my second visit I decided to see if this was fluke experience and sadly it was. I had gone to order stew chicken with rice and steamed veggies. When I asked for this as a paying customer, I was told by the owner that “I don’t prepare stew chicken that way nor does steamed veggies go with stew chicken”. I was then told that the stew chicken already had veggies that are made with the chicken. He offered me a salad instead which is not what I wanted. The owner continued to explain that he would have to prepare the steam veggies on the spot for me. Not once did he offer to make it fresh or not once did I say I was in a hurry to order and leave. This type of lack of awareness and laziness is why most Caribbean restaurants fail; especially when serving their own community. Unfortunately I wasn’t surprised by this mentality from the customer service at a Jamaican restaurant. Knowing what I ordered prior; which was prepared how I wanted it. I decided not to try something new and get the same thing as last time since the owners opinion on how meals should be prepared trumps my request as a paying customer. When I asked for the fried chicken after figuring out how he wants to prepare meals; he told me that at 3:15pm on a Tuesday afternoon that he had no more fried chicken…. I had already parked, walked and committed to eating here and unfortunately the pizza spot next to them wasn’t open. I ordered the stew chicken which was good but that would be my last time ordering food at Orlando’s. Thankfully my co-worker never came because this would’ve been an embarrassing experience to share with someone who appreciates Jamaican food and culture. Next time I’ll take the extra 5 minutes to go south on Weston road where restaurants and business serve the West Indian community pridefully. DO BETTER WE ARE TIRED OF THE NEGATIVE NARRATIVE ABOUT OUR CULTURES CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Yelp
Must try for authentic Jamaican food. Everything was delicious and fresh. The customer service superb. Came to Orlando's for at least one meal a day during my holiday in Canada.
