Google
Such an amazing little place. This was our third visit and each time is like a light breeze of nostalgia. For the uninitiated, Orleans Grapevine is first and foremost a wine bar, that offers quite a nice wine list and is frequented primarily by locals as far as we can tell. The bar seems to fill up first, and there are about 10 tables to fill the rest of this wonderfully cozy spot. The menu can be quite dynamic -- so you'll likely get a new experience each time you stop in -- and is always excellent. We arrived early (in time for "Bacon Happy Hour" -- see pics) and sat at a table in the bar near the player piano. Wine flights and warm brie with honey is how every meal should start. After, french onion soup and blackened redfish almondine were delicious for the main course. Finished with french press coffee and key lime pie for a perfect meal. It's the best little local wine bar in the Quarter staffed by truly kind folks who serve delicious food out of a hole in the back wall (aka kitchen pass-thru). Two enthusiastic thumbs up. 👍🏼👍🏼

We tried a different place and they did not acknowledge us so we left and walked here. So glad we did. What a hidden gem. Love the secret courtyard. We had the fish and the pork chop. Both were very good. The pork chop was huge ! Definitely recommend this place. They have a great wine list too. The bread is served warm so that was a plus. James took good care of us.

We went to eat here for dinner while we were in town for the Red Dress Run In August. August generally is very hot and so I was looking forward to sitting down in an air-conditioned restaurant. I don't know if it's not air-conditioned or it just wasn't working but it was almost hotter inside the restaurant than outside. I was miserable! It was a busy weekend so I knew the service would be a little slow. Once we got our food I was still disappointed as it was not very good. We ended up not even eating half of it. I was very disappointed. I would have thought it would have a lot more flavor being in the South. Unless someone else is paying for my meal, I probably won't try this again. It was definitely convenient as far as location. You might need to go a little further away from Bourbon Street to get really good food. I haven't had the best luck.

Google
The Orleans Grapevine Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. It is worth going to and enjoying all of the great wines plus excellent food. Mark is a great manager and Michael is a wonderful bartender. Michael also knows his wines very well and can match them to your palate.

Google
My cousin and I were looking for a place to eat late in the evening after I goes to work. We popped in to this bistro and were Pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered cauliflower, blue cheese, soup, a cheese salad, which was phenomenal, and Brie. Everything was delicious and I was so satisfied with our diet experience. The prices were very good as well.

Google
We stayed across the street (Fleeing a hurricane), and on our last night we managed to stop in, busy trying to see it all and taste it all. I almost extended our stay 3 nights after eating the Fillet. Just so I could try the rest of the menu. The food and calm atmosphere made this place our high point of many high points during the 4 nights. Just, go, and go on your first night, so you can come back and try some more!

Google
This is a gem of a place! As you can see we sit outside on the patio. And it was charming. The French bread is awesome, the baked Brie was delicious and the gumbo had a great flavor. We went to visit another afternoon and closed on Monday, ok, but we went back on Wednesday, closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... Bummer! But on our next visit we will come by and this time, perhaps set inside...you have our hearts!

Google
A true underrated place. It was a wonderful experience, and the food and wine selection was superb. The atmosphere and lighting on the inside was perfect. Our sitting was nice and quiet outside. The only thing I would say could change would be the lighting in the later hours could dim, which im sure they would be adjusting quite soon.

Yelp
We had a really busy day exploring NOLA and stopped in for some A/C, a snack and a drink. We got there right when they opened so we snagged a table inside and truly had excellent service. I had an aperol spritz that was perfectly made and refreshing. The fresh bread for the table was *chefs kiss*. We had trouble decided which apps to try but finally landed on baked brie with pecans and honey (OMG) and shared a bowl of tomato soup and the angus medallions. Everything was SO GOOD. It was a really nice surprise and we had a great time just chatting and hanging in this beautiful bistro. Our server had a good sense of humor and did a great job coming by every time we needed him. It was a very chill and very good experience.

Yelp
Food was great, wine was ok, and service was ok. The waitress seemed a bit spacey like she was out of it. She brought the wrong wine flight but we didn't charge and let me keep it. The meal was amazing and we enjoyed the bread and butter compliment which is not as common anymore in restaurants. It was a small but quaint and cozy restaurant and had bar, indoor, and outdoor, seating. The waitress wasn't too attentive but it wasn't busy and we didn't have lot of needs so it was ok. I'm sure I may try it again.

Yelp
Where is the bacon? Oh how I missed the bacon Anyhow, Orleans grapevine is very good. Great value for the money. The food always meets or exceeds my expectations. Atmosphere is nice; seem like it's very under-appreciated. The bread service is amazing !

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place! Amazing, attentive service and the food was great! Cannot rave about the scallops and key lime pie more! Would totally try if you need a good place!

Yelp
Right on Orleans, this wine bar truly delights and delivers. There is a stunning little patio out back with the coziest vibes as you're encapsulated by the French architecture and green paned windows. The service was amazing and the they always brought a smile and great wine out. Even when a wine wasn't in stock they offered their equivalent with a similar flavor profile (even matching a price to make it more enticing). The baked brie was nothing to ride home about but it was cool to see the different topping options that they had. I got the surf and turf and the meat was seared really well, but it was missing a bit more salt to round out the flavors. The crawfish was great and added a nice texture to the dish. The potatoes and veggies were just ok and didn't stick out too much.

Yelp
I love coming here! I ended up in NOLA recently and dropped by with a co-worker/friend. Great experience, the bartender mixed us up some custom/experimental drinks that were fantastic. Many locals hanging out as well which key metric for myself. I'm a big AHS fan and the bartender had a book that captured all the local history that AHS based the season Coven on.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. Would recommend the gumbo and and beef medallions. Their wine menu is very extensive. Service was very nice our waiter recommended lots of things. The ambience was nice outside

Yelp
I love this restaurant! When I travelled to NOLA for Mardi Gras this year, it was my favourite dinner of the entire trip. I really encourage you to visit their website and read about the history of this beautiful space in the heart of the French Quarter. The building and decor is truly stunning as you will see in the pictures attached. For anyone who reads my reviews, you know I cannot eat gluten and always plan my meals/restaurants well before I leave for my trip. I contacted this restaurant as I was planning, and they very graciously sent me a message detailing what I could that was safe for my dietary restrictions. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside with green-shuttered windows and antique lamps, and they have a cute little patio where I sat to wait for them to open. Inside, the walls are beautiful brick, made to look like stucco wall is peeling away to reveal the blocks beneath. There are gorgeous glass chandeliers hanging from the beautiful cream-coloured ceiling tiles, a brick fireplace, and a stunning bar with lots of dark woodwork. A very cozy spot to sit and drink. I noticed there was a door the servers kept using to go out back. I wish I'd peeked at the backyard patio that must have been at the back. Over my table hung a watercolour painting of the LaBranche house in the French Quarter, and there was a very cool portrait of what looked like a native woman over the fireplace. Mardi Gras beads hung from the fireplace grate. The seats were a cute swirl for the back, padded and very comfortable. The music was light piano. I had dined at Landry's the night before, which had been a very underwhelming experience. So, it was so nice to have such an amazing dinner the night after at Orleans Grapevine. I ordered the Cosmopolitan to drink and the Arugula Salad (from the menu): Arugula with strawberries, toasted almonds, asiago cheese, and honey balsamic vinaigrette. One of the best salads I've ever eaten. For dinner, I ordered the Cajun Surf and Turf - easily one of my top ten dinners of all time. Menu description: 8 oz. New York strip topped in garlic butter and Louisiana crawfish tails.Served with herb smashed potatoes, and chef's choice of vegetables. When I was at dinner the night before, the steak was terrible. Too thin to even be cooked to order. I told my server and the manager they needed to send their chef over to teach Landry's how to properly cook a steak (and provide a decent cut). The strip was cooked to perfection and the sauce with the crawfish tails was so decadent. The smashed potatoes were heavenly. I'm not a huge veggie fan, but even those were good. I don't like broccoli, but I did eat it and the carrots were really delicious too. The entire meal impressed me, as did the service. My server was Madeline. She checked back on me several times, as did the manager. The price was fair. This restaurant is upscale, but I don't mind a higher price tag for quality food. And the service and atmosphere were perfect as well. Orleans Grapevine will be at the top of my list every year for Mardi Gras. I really want to try the duck when I return in 2024.

Yelp
I'd come back so many times if this was local to me. They only had one server, so our only option was to sit at the bar. No big deal, but there is a beautiful courtyard and the weather was perfect. We were just happy to be able to dine here. The atmosphere was nice with a self play piano. We each ordered a glass of wine, then split the tomato soup. I'm not a big tomato soup person, but this was amazing. The best I've ever had and I'd eat it again and again. We also shared the arugula salad (I prefer a little less dressing but it was flavorful) and the pork chop (perfectly cooked). It came with vegetables and mashed potatoes. While waiting on our food order we were given a small loaf of what tasted like fresh baked (warm) bread with a delicious butter infused with some sort of red pepper (not spicy). Everything was delicious. The service was great despite them being short staffed.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The cheese board was outstanding. Our server was very personable and made us feel comfortable. The ambiance was romantic and quaint. They even have a self-playing piano.

Yelp
We came to Grapevine for an early dinner. They sat us in the outside back area that was intimate and quiet. We ordered a bottle of sangria which was ok and not that strong. My friend ordered the duck and I ordered the ahi tuna and asked that the sauce be put on the side. When I got my order they had put the sauce on the plate. The waitress was apologetic and took it back to have re-done. I really don't like sending food back because when I got it back I noticed vegetables were barely cooked (cauliflower, broccoli and carrots) The ahi tuna was a bit dry and my rice wasn't hot. My friend loves the duck with potatoes and vegetables. I should've ordered that instead. This is a very nice restaurant and less crowded than others on the French quarter. The staff is friendly and it had clean bathrooms. I would give this place another try!

Yelp
Great place for wine and dinner. More quiet restaurant with out too many tourist. Enjoyed 2 different flights of red and rose with very generous pours. I recommend the cheese plate. Nice variety of cheeses and the warm load of bread!!! Yum!

Yelp
Please note their hours are now 4p-10p Thurs-Sunday only. This is my new favorite spot! The wine choices are plentiful, and the food is delicious. The bartenders and wait staff are the sweetest. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Hailey P.

Yelp
Super friendly staff! We sat in the courtyard and it was chilly outside but they provide small heaters under each umbrella so it was warm and cozy. The food was great, we ordered light- soup and an 'app'- and both were fantastic. The cocktails were VERY strong but it's New Orleans!

Dan M.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to visit. The ambiance is great, friendly bartenders, servers. The food and alcohol is excellent

Becky H.

Yelp
We both ordered the double pork chop with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The chop was sublime, veggies cooked just right and flavorful. The potatoes tasted old. We also ordered Caesar salad and goat cheese salad. Dessert was key lime pie that was ok.I got chocolate mousse. Both seemed to have Reddi-Whip on them . The mousse was about 1/8" thick with Reddi-Whip filling the bottom. Mousse was grainy. Service was wonderful with all waitpeople helping each other. We ate in the courtyard which was very nice
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We loved this place. Great wine bar with an extensive menu. The bartender was committed to finding a rose I liked, which I appreciated. We also ordered the cheese board and it included interesting options. It's small and intimate, which was a nice change from typical downtown NOLA.

Yelp
Beautiful little gem on Orleans St, across from the haunted Bourbon Orleans Hotel! The wine selection was good and the bites were perfect. Super small little bistro but the staff works super quickly to make sure everyone is taken care of. Oh and the daily special butter for the bread! AMAZING. We had the honey vanilla butter, it was to die for

Yelp
Delicious food, great service, and wonderful ambiance. Food: I ordered the arugula salad, mushroom de vin with shrimp, and crème brûlée and all of it tasted wonderful. The meal comes with a fresh baguette and spread; also wonderful. Flavors were rich--I very much enjoyed my meal! Vibe: it's very quaint and intimidate. The inside of the restaurant was packed so I was seated outside but I really enjoyed it as their patio was lovely. The space is open with heat lamps at each table, a fountain in the corner and plants everywhere. A great space for a finer dining experience in an intimate setting. Service: They seated me immediately and I had a kind server who checked back on occasion. I never felt unseen and I greatly appreciated the level of service this restaurant provided. I'm glad I stumbled upon this spot--it's such a great restaurant and the food is delicious!

Yelp
It was my friends birthday so we stopped in for drinks. Parking was surprisingly easy, and free. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was pleasant. We had drinks and a cheese board. They brought out warm bread for us to share too! The cheese board was great tasting with grapes, apple, stuffed olives, crackers, and there was a chocolate cheese y'all!! This is a nice place that I would definitely come back to.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in New Orleans. The attention to detail of the food and plating are excellent. Complements to the kitchen! The servers are obviously happy to be there and create an atmosphere that is relaxing and welcoming. If you care about the details this is the place to go. This was our best meal and dining experience in New Orleans. I only wish we discovered it sooner so we could go back for more!

Yelp
We went there on our 20 th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, the steak was so good, cooked perfect. The waitress kept tabs on us and we were never without anything. We put that on our must go to every trip to New Orleans in the future.

Caitlin C.

Yelp
Amazing food! When we were seated, we were provided with the softest bread fresh from the oven, and whipped honey butter to dip in. It was so good that we asked for more, and were provided with another fresh loaf with onion garlic whipped butter. If you ask to be seated in the courtyard, the ambiance is amazing! There's a small water fountain with plants and soft music, and all the tables are candlelit at night. As for the food, I ordered Gulf Fish Amandine, which was delicious. The fish came with vegetables (carrots, broccoli, brussel sprouts) and rice. The portion size was large. My friends ordered the pasta and the surf and turf. The steak in the surf and turf (rare) was spectacular. It was basked in butter and was bursting with flavor. The meat itself was soft and practically melted on the tongue. There were small crayfish on the steak that definitely added another dimension of flavor. The person in the table behind us ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop and was raving about it. I'll definitely have to visit again the next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Awesome scallops and very friendly bartender and very helpful And of course the Hand Grenade Martini

Yelp
I really would have preferred to give a 3.5 rating but it's not allowed. So I bumped it up to 4. The good: our server Althea was AMAZING. Super attentive, helpful and friendly. She was great. We also loved the ambiance in the courtyard outdoors. The okay: Our food was good not great. Some in our group felt that everything needed salt. My wife felt like her food was reheated maybe? Anyways, everything was good, just not quite on par with the ambiance and the prices. We probably wouldn't be back not because it was a bad experience, it wasn't, but just because there are so many other great eateries to explore. Love Althea tho!

Yelp
We wandered in here before our reservation at Preservation Hall. They had space available outside for our group and the patio umbrella had a heater under it to ward off the chill. We were still a tad cold, but we didn't have time to wait for indoor seating. The patio was lovely overall though. The meal started off good. We told the server we were in a bit of a hurry and she did her best to accommodate. We started with a round of drinks. I got a blackberry lemonade, which was served in a martini glass (unexpected - I thought it would be a rocks glass with ice from the menu description). It was very sweet and I didn't drink much of it. Two versions of brie followed and they were both delicious. They didn't come with much bread at all, but she dropped off plenty of warm bread in bags with butter that were also delicious. This is where the process broke down. If you are vegan, don't even try and eat here. If you're a vegetarian with any other restrictions, go elsewhere. One person in our party was a vegetarian who is allergic to mushrooms and doesn't eat a lot of dairy. They did not have a single thing she could eat and did an absolutely awful job of accommodating. We thought we'd be ok because the menu advertised a vegetarian option for the shrimp and sausage pasta, but it had vegetables added and included mushrooms that couldn't be taken out. And it was the same price as the meat version, which is sort of wrong. A request for just pasta and sauce sans vegetables was rejected as impossible. Our server said she'd check to see if there were any other options and took the rest of the orders...and then apparently just forgot. After asking her again, the server said there was nothing she could do. There was some additional discussion and maybe an offer of some buttered noodles (again at a totally inappropriate price). So, she opted to order nothing and dined on bread. In this day and age, I really thought they should have made SOME effort, but they had no interest in it at all. A coffee was ordered mid-meal and took forever, finally being delivered on our way out the door. It wasn't on the bill, but it sort of capped off the poor experience. Entrée-wise, the pasta was good. The caprese salad was good. The scallops were awful - overcooked, bland, boring, and over-priced for the portion size. There were things to like, but the treatment of dietary preferences and restrictions has them off my list though. Do better.

Yelp
Exceptional!!! Service and food were amazing! Got a charcuterie board (cheese) and house white. We're foodies and love our wine.. this place fit the bill. So amazing! We'll return every visit.

Michael C.

Yelp
We LOVE this place. The bartender is probably one of the best personable bartenders in the entire city. He really makes the place something special. - we always sit at the bar. Whoever is in the kitchen creates absolutely amazing dishes. The steaks are not just cooked and prepared super well but the quality of the meat shines through- these steaks are NOT from the local supermarket. The wine selection is great, the atmosphere is amazing, with an automated piano playing great tunes in the background. The prices are cheap but they aren't expensive either. This can be a spot to go to for a special occasion or as a local spot to go to regularly- we go once a week or once every two weeks. I'm giving this spot a rating of "You must visit."

Pam K.

Yelp
What a great place to eat. The food was delicious, nice music played during our meal and Brittany, our waitress was outstanding. Gumbo was first rate. The port wine was quite tasty also.
google avatar

Tom H.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time here, my gf and I made this our go-to location when traveling in New Orleans for more our regular meals. It is casual and also clean and friendly. They are located close to bourbon street but not so close that you get all the crowd. As a matter of fact, most of the time it was relaxed and chill. Wait staff is attentive and will try to do what they can to make issues correct. Rotating specials and they low key have better gumbo than a lot of the places that make a big deal about their's ha.

Yelp
We try to make a stop here every time we are in NOLA. We have always had a great experience here. They have a nice variety, wine menu, bartenders know how to mix a good drink, along with excellent food and service. Tonight we dined on the cheese board, always a favorite starter, then we ordered to share, the goat cheese salad and Fresh Creole Pasta. The salad comes with a Creole honey mustard vinaigrette which pairs well with the pecans and creates a wonderful flavor compliment for the goat cheese and greens, the main entrees pasta tomato cream sauce is deliciously decadent and served with a generous portion of shrimp, scrumptiously yummy. There are a few tables available on the sidewalk area, for those that want to catch some street action, a nice cozy courtyard in back, for more private dining experiences. We like the bar area, it's comfortable and has a warm ambiance. Definitely worth a visit for anyone out of town. Seems like a few locals already regularly dine, which is always a good sign.

Yelp
Oh my goodness me. What a great accidental find. We spent a good chunk of the day walking around the city and didn't even realize we had skipped lunch. It was right around 3 by the time we realized how hungry we were. This was the closest spot to us so we decided why not. We didn't even look at the menu. Somehow I had a feeling we weren't going to regret our choice. There was no wait. We were seated towards the back, next to the small pond. My view wasn't too bad. There were some kois in there. As we were all starving, we decided to eat family style. Our orders were: 1/2 dozen Oysters - Who knew adding bacon to oysters would make such a big difference. Two thumbs up Baked brie - holy meatballs. I don't have the words. Warm Goat Cheese Salad - amazing. I could eat this everyday for the rest of my life Shrimp Remoulade - our least favorite in the mix Pan Seared Scallops - perfection New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp - collectively everyones favorite. I wanted to ask for more bread because that sauce was perfect for dipping. Bread pudding - wow Goat cheese cheesecake - I only manage to have a couple bites because I was so full We all couldn't stop saying how this was by far our best meal even though it was only day 2. LOL From all the food to the service - it was the best of times.
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
BBQ Shrimp were huge with shrimp head on. The bbq sauce tasted like a mixed of ketchup, vinegar, and light sugar which worked. The french bread dipping into the sauce was great. Also, this is the only place during covid that has Hand grenade drink that i know of... you definitely have to be seated and by a meal in order to order it. It tasted like a margarita but more limey. I think this drink was over-rated and the hurricane or pimm's cup was much better and stronger. But if your in New Orleans and you want to say you tried it then definitely give it a try. Staff did have masks on and environment inside was clean.
google avatar

Karen G.

Yelp
Came here bc my sister wanted to eat a pasta dish of some kind. Her and I got the sangria (really good - juice like but not too sweet and easy to drink). We got the creole pasta - super delicious! The service was great! They sat us right away on a Saturday (party of 3) around 7:30 to 8pm. Overall, a great time before hitting up the town with our brother. :)
google avatar

Laura B.

Yelp
The food, wine and atmosphere were fabulous. The cheese board had unique options like chocolate cheese and Carmel cheese. They paired well with our gamay red. We shared a small plate of beef medallions which were tender and flavorful. I'd give it 5 stars except the staff were a bit crazy and disorganized. Give it a try. Might have just been the full moon.

Yelp
I was so sorry to find them closed for filming, last night but so many movies are filmed in this area that it didn't totally surprise me. I love there menu and the people & the wine flights/cocktails they serve in early evening and late night comes with tasty bacon with drinks- Yummy! Yummy! I have had everything on the menu and love to catch up with my local friends who also dine there. It's not a hidden treasure anymore because word got out, but whether you like courtyard dinning, sidewalk dinning or lovely gorgeous inside dinning ( and fresh bread with specialty butters chef does daily), it's a great meal and experience. Since entree include fresh chef's fresh vegetables as well as fresh baked bread, it's very affordable. The bread pudding is unique (& good) but there are also other wonderful choices. Before CoVid I went every couple of weeks - it's still wonderful now. I've never met anyone in town who doesn't love it- and if visiting from out of town- it's half a block from a Hand Granade drink at Tropical Isle with great music from live awesome group ( and PS same owners). The owners have traveled far to tast and check out dishes & recreated them with great NOLA taste.

Yelp
It's been almost 2 weeks since we had dinner at Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar and Bistro, but I still think about it daily. Usually, fine dining includes unnecessary pomp and circumstance- a stodgy, borderline arrogant, environment. When all you really want is a good meal in a comfortable but nice setting. No pretense, just good food in a lovely atmosphere. Grapevine exceeded this ideal. Of course there's a level of decorum, but Grapevine exudes a "come as you are hospitality" from which other restaurants can (and should) learn. Our host Mark, seated us in the beautiful courtyard that is a good setting for romantic occasions, dinners with friends, and everything in between. After he showed us to our seats, Mark took time to chat with us about our day, where we're from, etc. We immediately felt at home. We had the roasted duck breast and lamb chops. They were both divine. In fact, I think they may have been the best lamb chops I've ever had. If you have room for dessert, the honey goat cheese cheesecake with lemon gastrique is another must try. As wonderful as all of this was, one of the brightest highlights of the evening was our server, Brittany. She has the most beautiful spirit. Brittany made an exceptional night even more enjoyable. Thank you, Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar and Bistro! Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar and Bistro is now our go to restaurant each time we visit New Orleans.

This was our first dinner on our trip to New Orleans. We were tired and very hungry from our travels and the staff was incredibly welcoming and quick. I really appreciated that they asked for our vaccination card as soon as we stated we wanted to eat here. They sat us a table in the courtyard which was quiet and peaceful. The service was fast which we appreciated being so hungry. I loved the selection of wines and we ordered one from France to share and it was delicious. We started with the baked brie with roasted garlic cream sauce & coulis & balsamic reduction and it was delicious. We could have used a bit more bread though so some of our brie did go uneaten but that's ok. My sister ordered the Mushroom De Vin with chicken, I got the angus medallions and my friend ordered the Boudin Sausage link. It was all tasty but I think the angus medallions were a favorite. The courtyard here is such a nice of breath of fresh air near the wilds of Bourbon St. and with little places to find good wine, this is a must-go to spot!

Yelp
I had a fabulous Christmas eve here. Although I did not get to try the bacon happy hour (which is the best idea ever) everything else was great. I ordered the BBQ shrimp for an appetizer and then the filet for my main course. They serve a fabulous bread with garlic butter, which I couldn't get enough of. It was really crowded with no availability for tables, but we were actually able to get a seat at the bar pretty quickly. The service was not bad for how busy it was. The bartender told me she could charge my cellphone, but never plugged it up! She did take it from me, so I thought she did, but must have forgotten. LOL. The food made up for that. I would like to try this place again for happy hour.

Yelp
Very very very good. Amazing food and lots of flavor. I like the happy hour and bbq shrimp. I'd give it five stars but they served my food early and separate from my friend which I don't care for. Please serve us all together. Regardless the food is fantastic and lots of locals hang out here. Check out that happy hour they have free bacon! I heard the lamb was splendid but I came for shrimp. Do yourself a favor and try this quaint place.

Yelp
This place has been in my bookmarks for a really long time and I finally got the opportunity to stop in after a Saints win on Sunday and a lot of frolicking through the city. We started with wine (of course!). The bartender recommend the Meomi Pinot Noir. It was really good and I've already added it to my stash at home. Next we ordered the baked Brie and a pair of Ceasar salads. The Brie was creamy and the honey stop was the best. Just like I like it. The salads were AMAZING. I know you're wondering how could a ceasar salad be that great, but trust me it was. The dressing was tangy and the sliced anchovies on top were perfect. I definitely will be back for entrees and dessert. Cause if the apps are any indication of how great everything is this place can call me a regular for sure!

Yelp
Went as part of a party of six. Our waitress was very friendly and our food arrived pretty quickly once we ordered. I got the Gulf Fish Amandine, which came with veggies and rice. The fish was a bit light/dry in flavor, but it was good paired with the crab topping. The veggies were good too. The rice was my sticking point though, because it was served plain. Was I supposed to mix it with my veggies, or scrape the topping off my fish to eat with it? I think it would've been better with gravy, Spanish rice, or furikake. The restaurant has some courtyard seating, which would probably be pleasant at night or in cooler temperatures. Also, bacon happy hour? Genius! Overall a pretty good spot, just some nitpicking on the food due to the price.

Yelp
So this place is adorable. Nestled in the heart of the French quarter with an absolutely stunning little courtyard. It can't be beat. My friend and I came here to enjoy the wonderful cheeseboard option they had as well as a nice bottle of wine before going out clubbing with some friends, and we were most certainly not disappointed. The board we ordered had five different varieties from different regions including a Swedish chocolate cheese, which literally took the cake! I love how they also pair the cheeses with fresh grapes and figs. A nice touch. They also had two blue cheese stuffed and marinated peppers that gave you a little zing in the jaw when you bit into them. All around a delightful little nosh before going out. The service was wonderful and the food speaks for itself. They have a wonderful wine selection to pair with everything they have to offer. I wish we would've had more time to just make an evening out of having dinner and drinks there, so I can NOT wait to return to this little French quarter gem! We WILL be back and I've already recommended this place to people asking for a good cheese board!

Yelp
I did not have high hopes in choosing this restaurant - sure, it was conveniently located across from my hotel, and sure, it was recommended enthusiastically by two other hotel patrons, but from the description it just didn't scream "New Orleans". I ended up being completely surprised. The interior of the wine bar I feel is generic, but the outside patio is very unique, and the water feature makes it feel less humid then it may be. I still remember the fish - it was covered with a delicious buttery, nutty sauce and covered in sliced almonds. The okra was blanched, and I learned I personally do not care for that, but to each their own. It was a great place for a post-history walk dinner.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Staff are knowledgeable in the wines for pairing with meals or for a simple drop, excellent and personable. We will make this a regular stop when we come to NOLA.

Yelp
I have walked by dozens of time over 5 yrs and paid no attention- but I am so glad we stopped in! It was recommended by a friend- we sat at the bar and had a great time- the wine list is amazing. The bartender was friendly and gave us just enough space for date night. We ordered the cheese board and it was okay- the cheese could have been more at room temp, however the chocolate cheddar was superb. Don't keep walking by- go inside. It's worth the time.

Yelp
Had the gulf fish amandine -- fish was really good, rice was great, veggies were perfect. Love eating on the patio. Staff is friendly and low-key.
