If you value safety to the level of paranoia, skip this place. My boyfriend and I stayed here a few months ago. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and when my code wasn't working for the hallway an employee let me in. The issue is that I happen to see the employee code and then out of curiosity my boyfriend and I discovered we could open our own door with that code as well (theres only a code for the doors!! And it unlocks ALL the door locks!! You cannot deadbolt or chain lock someone out). That freaked us out because we didnt know if other people could have seen the code, how often they change the employee codes, etc, and the fact that code WILL unlock the door in its entirety. We spent our whole stay with the ottoman and chairs stacked against our door at night (its a safe location, but we need that safety feature).
Besides that, the sounds of other guests can be easily heard through the walls, in an annoying way.
The positives, is that this place is beautiful inside and out. GREAT location, very walkable, easy parking, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and A/C. The drinks in the room were complimentary like espresso and sodas, which we enjoyed a lot and made us feel special. I really dont want to talk down on this place because it was nice, but the thin walls and security mean that we'll likely never stay here again unfortunately. I wish the best for it though!! You can tell the owners put love and care here. If you value history and can ignore thin walls, you should check this place out.
