"The khao mun gai trend just won’t quit: San Jose has a new fast-casual spot specializing in khao mun gai: Oros Thai Chicken & Rice (5663 Snell Avenue). In addition to the classic poached chicken with chicken-y rice, the restaurant serves a deep-fried version, tofu alternative, and popcorn chicken, in addition to bubble tea drinks." - Janelle Bitker

This was our first time trying out Oros restaurant. Oros has a variety on their menu. I ordered the Hot Thai Chicken . You can order your level of hot spice for all your food. We also ordered Yellow Curry Tofu with Ginger Rice , Green (pandan) Waffle and the Pinky Signature Drink. Everything was very delicious and the Thai Chicken was the perfect amount of spiciness. The veggies are so fresh and tasty. They make the food very nice and presentable. There Staff has great customer service and cleanliness is 5 Star rating. The packaging is very sturdy and does well for travel. You can eat there for take home. We definitely will be back to try other items on their menu.

I picked up lunch from here. Thai basil 🌿 chicken with rice. They gave clear soup as a side which was okay. Overall I didn’t like the flavors, there were hardly any veggies except beans. The dish had little sauce for the amount of rice they gave. It started to taste bland.

Love their Khao Mun Gai! Very delicious! Must try!

Great food and drinks! Highly recommend this place for a hearty well-priced meal. Service was just a tad slow, but otherwise absolutely delicious :)

Google
Delicious chicken and rice, very similar to chinese style “hainan chicken” ~

I’m going against the grain because I was extremely disappointed by this place. Seeing the great reviews plus fried chicken livers on their menu got me to race over for lunch. We were the only customers dining in. The wait for food was on the long side but when it’s cooked to order, I can totally respect the patience required for a freshly made meal. Upon arrival it became clear why it took so long: my fried chicken quarter and livers were overcooked to the point of toughness, which is difficult to do with dark meat. The crispy skin was nice after I plucked out numerous disagreeable feathers. Their special blue sticky rice was dry and flavorless. The included chili sauce (no other option) was too sweet…luckily there was sriracha available on the counter. My GF was pleased with her fried gai KMG (kao mun gai) despite the $3 charge to add a fried egg, which I thought was steep. I still might have given them a second chance except that when GF ordered a milk tea with whole milk, the clerk explained they only had non-dairy milk. It wasn’t “Sorry, we ran out of milk. Is a non-dairy substitute alright?” This led me to think they never have dairy milk, yet nothing stated that anywhere. There were simply too many points of failure to attribute the experience to being an off day

Google
Delicious kao mun gai. The chicken was very moist and tender; it tastes even better when you dip it into the broth and eat it with the chicken rice. The popcorn chicken was pretty good too. It could've been a little crispier, but it wasn't dry at all and had a high meat-batter ratio. Only knocked one star off because I tried the coconut smoothie and was disappointed because it just tasted like blended milk.

Google
Loved the fried chicken rice (#2) and their delicious coconut ice cream - it's sticky rice with condensed milk, I think, topped with double scoop of coconut ice cream (more sorbet than ice cream). My wife loved the steamed chicken rice (khao man gao, #1) and fish balls. It's fast food style (order and pay at the counter), but the cashier was very friendly.

Yelp
This place opens pretty late and I was curious to try this place out. I ordered the khao mun gai (poached chicken) with white rice. It was so good with the kmg sauce. The soup was a bit salty but balancing it with the left over rice I had on my plate evened it out. I do want to try their yellow curry and penang curry on my next visit. I also look forward to getting the mango sticky rice! The staff was nice and the restaurant had a car theme to it. There's hella hot wheels and ripped magazines posted on the walls which was pretty cool.

Chris L.

Yelp
Oh gosh, the roti + penang ($8.88) was SOAKED in oil. Roti is usually flakey, but this was a soggy mess where each piece was stuck together. We dabbed each piece to get the oil, but needed four napkins per slice to get it all. I was actually in shocked that this is how it was cooked. The penang was curry was good. The popcorn chicken laab style was not crispy enough. And for 9.88 it should have been much larger. The sweet chili dip didn't make sense either since it took away from the laab flavor. Wanted to like this spot, but these two dishes fell flat. I'd try the other dishes next time.

Yelp
I was doing my nails next door and wanted to grab some food from here after my nails were done..came in after and ordered a couple things.. Service 5/5 Drinks 5/5 Chicken Pad Thai 2/5 Popcorn chicken 3/5 Fried chicken skin 3/5 I wish I could give this place a higher rating.. The french toast milk tea tastes exactly like the cinnamon toast crunch milk after eating all the cereal..What a wonderful blast from the past..reminds me of my childhood hood!!! Yummy!!! 5/5!!! I also got the lychee soda pop which is basically fizzy lychee soda..also 5/5!!! Very good and sweet!!! Let's move on to the pad thai..I really wanted to like the pad thai..it looked really good when I opened the box..but it lacked so much flavor. The portions were great..lots of noodles and chicken..but it was very bland. 2/5 Their popcorn chicken laab style and fried chicken skin was pretty good when it was hot and fresh. When I was driving home and picking at the popcorn chicken and fried chicken skin it was delicious..but after leave it for 30 minutes..it lost flavor. I don't mind if it looses crunch because fried food looses crunch after it has been left out..but it lost flavor..These two items went from good to bland..Going to give these 2 items a 3/5. Still undecided if I want to give this place another try. The drinks were just so good..and the pad thai here has good reviews..maybe it was just an off day for the chief? Unsure..but if I do come back and have a better experience I will update this review.

Yelp
The food was pretty good for a snacky Thai food place. I don't know that it's quite four stars but it's not three either. I just remember that we had to sit outside because the smell of incense was really strong inside and I have a sensitive nose so it was really cold. The service was great and fast and friendly.

Yelp
This is an amazing small shop that serves good quality Thai food. The food gives off a home-y feeling and the interior decor shows off what they are serving. I'd say this is more of a togo food place, but there is limited seating inside. One thing that's great about this place is they open late. Usually they close at 10PM but they close at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Khao Mun Gai: The chicken is tender and the flavor is amazing. The sauce that comes with this item goes super well with the lean chicken. All entrees come with a side of soup, which pairs so well with this dish. Yellow Curry: A good solid yellow curry. I do wish the curry was a tad bit more flavorful, but it does hit the spot. Portion is large and there is a small cucumber/onion side as well.

Johnathan Y.

Yelp
The food here is so underrated. I do wish the prices were a bit more affordable, but it's worth treating yourself every once in the wild. Though the steamed/poached chicken is good, the larb style popcorn chicken is SO good and flavorful. Get the chicken rice instead of regular white rice. The soup is usually hit-or-miss with regard to flavor, it tastes vaguely of just water with msg and maybe a little bit of vegetable flavor. The chicken wings with lemons pepper sauce are delicious! Will always drop by if in the area and craving the food.

Diego R.

Yelp
I chose this place because my go-to Thai restaurants were closed, so I was hoping for a good alternative. While Tuk Tuk Chicken & Rice has some hits like the basil chicken and salt and pepper wings, the Pad Thai needs some work. The basil chicken is super tasty. The chicken is tender and cooked with fresh basil, bell peppers, and onions in a yummy sauce. The basil gives it a nice aroma and a bit of a spicy kick. It's a great dish that's both filling and delicious. The S & P Chicken Wings are a must-try! The salt and pepper seasoning is just right, giving the wings a crispy and flavorful coating. They're fried perfectly, so you get a nice crunch with every bite. Perfect for sharing or enjoying on your own. The Pad Thai with chicken was a bit of a letdown. It came with thin slices of breaded chicken, similar to tonkatsu, which was interesting but not what you'd expect in traditional Pad Thai. Plus, it was missing bean sprouts, green onions, peanuts, and that tangy tamarind flavor. To top it off, the noodles were burnt, which really took away from the dish. We've traveled to Thailand twice and have eaten traditional Thai cuisine since the 80's so we're no stranger to it. The decor is not your typical Thai restaurant style. One wall is covered with pictures and ads of JDM cars, and another wall is filled with Hot Wheels still in their packages. It's a unique and fun atmosphere that adds a bit of character to the place. Overall, Tuk Tuk Chicken & Rice has a cozy vibe and friendly staff, making it a decent spot for a casual meal, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place as it had positive reviews. Unfortunately my experience was sub par. We walked in and it was a small place. We waited a while as someone was cooking, there was nobody at the front counter. We thought it was ok because we were looking over the menu. A while later, one of the kids walked in and assisted us at the counter. I had a feeling that he didn't want to be there. After we ordered, we sat and looked around. The wall of hot wheels and pictures of cars was interesting. Not much states that it's a Thai restaurant. We ordered the Roti, green curry, and pad Thai. We were met with disappointment. The roti was super oily, the Thai tea lacked flavor, the green curry was ok. What really disappointed me was the pad Thai was not the best I had. There was too much sauce that overwhelmed the whole thing. It lacked peanuts to add to the texture. Overall: give it a try, maybe it was just a bad day

Yelp
For you dining in this restaurant , I suggest you check when they charge you their sales tax. I just found out the following day when I looked at my receipt that I was overcharged on the sales tax. San Jose in Santa Clara should only be 9.375 % They're charging 10.6% sales tax !

Yelp
We stopped by for a quick bite for the road and since I was craving Fishes' Cheeks Thai flavored chicken, I was hoping this place can meet our cravings. It sort of did! It's obviously not as good as the NY's staples, but it did its job. We got the popcorn chicken as recommended by the cashier. It came out freshly made and piping hot. We took a few bites and my husband liked it. The chicken was juicy & pcs were huge. He liked the flavor but we both wished there were more seasonings.

Hsu Hnin E.

Yelp
Always my favorite spot for to-go. But today they made me disappointed. I found three short hair in my order. I ignored the first one and two then this is the third one. I can't help but to leave a review here.

Priscilla R.

Yelp
Have visited multiple times and enjoy my food every time. They have a great selection of food, drinks, and dessert (highly recommend their Mango Sticky Rice)! The service is always fast and the ambiance is decent. I enjoy that there is always a lot of parking and that they stay open late (great for a late night snack). Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Shanya A.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, the decoration and especially the super friendly and welcoming staff. I had gotten the crème brule tea and I was pleased to see a lactose free version! I have never seen that before and knowing that that drink is a safe option for me was perfect. I also tried the chicken katsu pad Thai and that as well was very good. Definitely returning!

Melissa T.

Yelp
I haven't had Tuk Tuk's food for a while and seeing them at the Tet Festival at Eastridge, making me crave for it more. I been to their restaurant a few times with my car friends or whenever there's a car meet but Tuk Tuk has one of the best chicken. The portion and taste is very delicious. I hope they do add the fries with lemongrass aioli to the menu because that sauce is amazing!

Alex L.

Yelp
Food here is fresh and has good flavor! We ordered Khao Man Gai, Fried Chicken Skin, Roti with Penang Curry, popcorn chicken, and Thai tea. All were hits for us. We ordered Togo since we had a bit of a drive home, but everything came burning hot and traveled well. Chicken skin and popcorn chicken didn't even make it home since we ate it along the way. The Thai tea wasn't too sweet, which we all know is a compliment when it comes to Asian food. Still had the tea flavor and wasn't washed away from too much milk. I would recommend this place and will be sure to come back to order again!

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Delicious Thai spot. I got the fried khao mun gai and it was great! Tastes kind of like a spicy popcorn chicken Also got the French toast milk tea with it which tastes like a milky horchata to me. Service is friendly and it's trendy inside with a little bit of seating room inside and outside.

Todd H.

Yelp
Excellent once again! Ordered Tuk Tuk from DoorDash and my guests LOVED IT!!! We got Kao Mun Gai (always love as does the lil guy) and Kao Gai Sap (new and awesome with the spicy lime salt flavor). Also got the Roti w/curry, fried tofu and popcorn chicken to share. Everything came crispy and warm! The soup also was light and tasty. Enjoy visiting but this delivery service was great too!

R L.

Yelp
I ordered take out, pad thai, curry, coconut mango. Every dish was tasteless and just plain bad. Worst Thai food I've ate in a long time. The mango was not old and disgustingly brown. I spent 2x as much as I wanted, should've gone to Chipolet as I originally planned, for way better food and cheaper too. Honestly how can this place get 4+ ratings?

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Cozy restaurant that feels like a family kitchen. we got the khao mun gai and khao gai sap - the popcorn chicken was spiced really well and the poached chicken had a great sauce, and the chicken rice for both was amazing ( as well as the soup that comes with the meals). We also ordered a jasmine milk tea. which was well priced compared to boba chains in the area, and it had a nice strong fragrant flavor. They even offered us some free samples since they were trying out a new dish, you can really feel how friendly they are! id go back for both the food and to talk with the owners.

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Pad thai seasoning was strange and salty. Found out they don't have any restrooms for customers after ordering. Was told to go a different restaurant to pee. My biggest regret is choosing tip option with the pre-order. Bad service and bad food. Will suggest to people this place to people I dislike.

Rosey Y.

Yelp
Came here after work because it was late and didn't have the energy to cook at home. I love Thai food, especially pad Thai and chicken rice. Therefore, when I came across this place on Yelp. I decided to check it out. I got the combination (fried chicken and regular chicken) rice, fried chicken skin, and pad Thai with fried tofu. Their combination chicken rice was not bad. The fried chicken in it was extremely thin and had a lot of batter. The chicken rice (yellow rice) also didn't have that much taste like your typical chicken rice. I liked the fried tofu in my pad Thai though and the chicken skin was pretty yummy. Crisped to perfection! The ambiance was alright. Neon lights inside. It's a pretty small restaurant located in a shopping plaza center. It wasn't loud at all. Probably two other tables were full in the store.

Terri M.

Yelp
So I got the strawberry with Sprite so you have the option of Sprite or seltzer water. I said oh it's like a Italian soda but it's really like a Shirley Temple just strawberry. Was tasty. I got the Thai chicken no spice, it was all right but it wasn't that great I probably wouldn't get that one again

Cathy S.

Yelp
Don't let the small eatery fool you -- its condensed but mighty menu is full of delicious Thai flavors. We had the garlic butter wings, Panang and yellow curry, Thai Chicken with Rice, the shrimp bean thread noodle salad (one of my favorites), and even their "off menu" crinkle fries with this killer lemongrass aioli. The desserts are also divine! The mango sticky rice is a family favorite and recently we tried the steamed banana cake which is more like a banana mochi texture served with coconut milk and crushed peanuts. Everything is prepared fresh and the flavors are well balanced. There is something for everyone to enjoy including picky kiddos like mine. I love to support family businesses especially when they deliver consistent quality. The service is friendly and the environment is casual. It's great to have a well-priced Thai eatery in the neighborhood!

Luisa T.

Yelp
5 Stars Came here for dinner and had the yellow curry, followed by the mango sticky rice--and oh my word! Absolutely delicious. Every bite was a treat. On top of that, the service was fantastic. Our waiter was so friendly and kind, making the experience even better. Definitely coming back!

Armand S.

Yelp
Not sure why this place is so highly rated. The staff is quite friendly , but the food is terrible. I ordered tofu pad Thai. My noodles has virtually no flavor and were clumped together as if they'd been microwaved. Also extremely dry. The tofu was fine and plentiful.

Irene G.

Yelp
This Thai restaurant is one of my favorites! When I brought my friends here, they all enjoyed the food. I opted for Khao Gai Sap, the popcorn chicken, and I'd rate it 5 out of 5 for its generous portion and delicious taste. The chicken was delightfully crispy and hot, complementing perfectly with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. A small cup of soup is also included. However, the dish lacks vegetables, and the extra sweet and sour dipping sauce comes at an additional cost of 50 cents. Parking is abundant in front of the restaurant. You place your order at the desk, and the staff delivers the food to your table. Despite having 3-4 tables, most people prefer takeout.

Liza P.

Yelp
The Penang chicken is perfect - the Penang curry is mild yet very flavorful and not overwhelming. Good portions for every order I've ever made. Lots of veggies come with the dishes. They also have a free small pickled cucumber side dish with the order. I love having a small local family owned Thai restaurant that I can run to for a pick up order. They're always ready within 15 minutes.

Kevin T.

Yelp
Tucked away in a quiet plaza, Tuk Tuk Chicken & Rice is small mom and pop store that exudes warmth and care. The personal touch from both the cashier and an older gentleman, who I suspect is the owner, made our dining experience memorable. They checked in on us to ensure our satisfaction with the food, both during our meal and as we were leaving. It's clear that the sweet people running this store genuinely care about their customers, and that alone makes them deserving of support. But of course I wouldn't be recommending the place if the food wasn't great too, cause it's pretty solid. Note the rice entrees come with rice (plain or chicken-stock) and chicken soup, so it's pretty good value in terms of food quantity alone. They also have a deal for their Thai tea (+$4 with entree). The soup that accompanies the rice entrees is a delightfully cozy chicken soup, complete with a chicken mini drumstick. It adds a comforting touch to the meal, plus the mini drumstick is a charming inclusion. I personally think chicken rice is plain superior to regular rice (it adds a nice light hearty aroma in this case), but maybe that's just me. ==Thai Iced Tea: 4/5 Well-balanced flavor profile, but somewhat light on the tea flavor for my tastes. It is not as sweet as typical presentations, but still has a smooth creaminess to it. Satisfying accompaniment your spicy heat. ==Fried Kahi Man Gun: 4/5 Not perfect, but still solid chicken cutlet; its crispy exterior and well-seasoned flavor make for a good meal. While some pieces were a bit gummy, and a few had fried parts flaking off, the overall texture was satisfyingly crunchy. The sweet & sour sauce was on point and pairs with it well. ==Thai Basil Chicken: 5/5 Legit savory flavor and heat. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. Medium spicy is firmly a "Thai medium", as my brother couldn't handle more than a bite. But damn is this a good one. You crack open the box it comes in and you can smell the delicious aromas from the door. The sauce soaks deeply into the rice too, so you can pick it apart from the top or dig deep with a spoon to have the full umami glory. ==Fried Banana Cake: 5/5 Delivers a flavorful whallop to the mouth. They seemed to be actively promoting their desserts, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try out, but my expectations were blown out of the water. The cakes by themselves have a nice mellow banana aroma and nice lightly chewy bite, but combine it with the peanuts and coconut-tapioca-pudding...you get a punchy dessert to sing praise about.

Reece Althea R.

Yelp
Food was great! Yellow chicken was good so as the tom yum.... The rice chicken was great.... If you love hot wheels you will enjoy to look at their wall display inside like what my husband did .... Friendly staffs too....

Grace F.

Yelp
Parking is NOT an issue because it's located in a plaza. Small establishment & seems like it's family owned so Yay! support local business. They are friendly when you walk in & are helpful if you have any questions about what's on the menu. Super tiny eating area if you decide to dine in. They offer nothing but chicken & vegy items

Kalani S.

Yelp
This is small cafe that concentrates on Thai cuisine. Small but good food and good location. Here is my scoring card for this restaurant: 1) Location: ( 5 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking. 2) Decoration : (2 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean. 3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve 4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are below average . ( must be inflation ) 5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of Thai food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in Thai. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies Total max is 25 Score 18 Stars = 72% round up to 3 stars

Jeff C.

Yelp
This place looked like an interesting place and was nearby a work conference venue so I popped in for a Friday lunch with some co-workers. It's definitely got a no frills vibe, tucked away in a strip mall. You order at the front and then wait for your food to come out. While waiting, you can enjoy the impressive collection of Hot Wheels toy cars still in their packages on one of the walls! I ordered the Khao Mun Gai (poached chicken with jasmine chicken rice) as it is a dish that I typically enjoy. It was a good sized portion but I wish the chicken rice was more flavorful. Not a bad place if you're in the area though!

Lexi R.

Yelp
I've ordered take out twice now and have enjoyed both meals! My favorite dishes are the popcorn chicken laab style (has a spicy/citrus taste) and the roti with yellow curry! The yellow curry is scrumptious! The pad Thai's not bad! I chose tofu for the protein. I liked how they cooked the tofu! It's fried so that it's crispy on the outside and nice and soft inside. The prices are reasonable, the food is ready quick, and the portions are large. Entrees come with rice and soup too!

Kathleen Y.

Yelp
So I have a habit of trying the popcorn chicken if it's offered at the establishment. Therefore I tried many different types of popcorn chicken and so far the laab style popcorn chicken is one of the most unique I have. Stand alone it's meaty, well seasoned with a tangy lime taste and a bit on the salty side so should be eaten with rice. However it comes with fish sauce which helps round out the flavor. Overall would come here again for the popcorn chicken.

Thomas A.

Yelp
Amazing food and great customer service! Ambiance is super dope as well! Definitely will be a restaurant in our families rotation.

James S.

Yelp
One of my favorite late night chicken places to go to! The workers are always super friendly and offer great suggestions. The place is fairly chill and you can either eat inside or sit on some of the outdoor seating. I had the combo fried and boiled chicken. The fried chicken had a nice crunch with every bite. The boiled chicken is fairly plain but it comes with a sauce that gives it a kick (it also comes with some chicken soup that you can let the boil chicken soak in for some more flavor). We were suggested the new garlic chicken wings( I believe it was $15) appetizer and can say it did not disappoint. I wouldn't mind ordering the garlic chicken wings if it was a rice plate!

Courtney T.

Yelp
I had high expectations due to the reviews, and the photos looked promising. Since it was my first time, I decided to go with the fried chicken & chicken rice. I was a bit disappointed. The chicken was crispy, but the chicken is so thin it was underwhelming, the batter is a bit bland as well. The chicken rice wasn't bad, but didn't have much flavor either. Maybe the other options are good, but I was hoping that the chicken would be solid since that is what they are known for. I felt that this dish was worth $10 if anything. Would not pay anything more for it.

Andrew P.

Yelp
Delicious food. One of our surgeons treated us for lunch at work. The food was amazing. Will bring my friend and family to this place.

Mary N.

Yelp
Wow! What a great spot to stop by for delicious Thai food. We came here for dinner and there was quite limited seating. You order from the cashier and wait for the food. Everything came out fairly quick and the staff are so nice. I even saw a staff give a little kid a toy. I thought the rice place was the best, but I didn't even get a chance to take a pic of it. Beware, it is spicy. The pad thai came with fried chicken that tasted really good too.

Amy Z.

Yelp
We came here for a late night snack at around 9pm on a Monday. They close at 10pm on that day. It's a very small establishment, with a couple tables lining one wall and a bar top on the other. The ambience in the little shop is very dim and intimate, with most of its lighting coming from their brightly lit neon sign and purple LED lighting. EDM music was played in the background while we were there. There was also a wall of Hotwheel cars that the owners have amassed. It was fun to look at while our orders were being made. There was a girl at the front who took our orders. She was very friendly and courteous. Our food arrived within 15 minutes in to-go containers. Utensils were self-serve. THAI BASIL CHICKEN: This was honestly the star of the show. It's a rice dish topped with stir fried chicken and green beans in a soy based house sauce. We ordered this mild and there's a kick to it that's just perfect. The whole dish is jam packed with flavor and you can really taste the wok hei in the stir fry. This came with a side of soup of your choice. We got the chicken soup, which was delicious. The broth is rich and clear. It's very warm and hearty. CHICKEN COMBO: The chicken combo was good, but not as good as the Thai Basil Chicken. Half of the combo is a Thai take on Hainan Chicken, and the other half was a fried chicken cutlet. The fried chicken was markedly more delicious, and if we had to order again we would probably elect for a full order of the fried chicken rather than the combo. We also got the chicken soup as a side for this. CUCUMBER SALAD: This comes in a small half cup and consists of raw quarter cucumbers and red onion. We thought it came without dressing but it turns out, it's pooled at the bottom of the cup. The dressing is pretty mild, it honestly doesn't make much of a difference and at the end of the day, it's $4.88 for a small cup of cucumbers and onions. While certainly tasty (the acid of the salad did a great job at cutting the richness of the entrees) we felt the price was a bit steep. THAI MILK TEA: For $5.88, you get a pretty large cup of milk tea. It is your usual powder Thai milk tea that's super sweet and syrupy. The price for this restaurant seems to be a bit disjointed - some of the dishes offer very good value, while other dishes seemed overpriced. While the price for the Thai basil chicken is totally worth it, for the side like the cucumber salad, it was not. It seems that the items in the menu can be a hit or miss but there definitely some gems in the menu that are great. Overall, this place worth visiting if you are local in the area. The fact that this place opens at late night hours makes for a great late night snack run.

Dana D.

Yelp
We're on a roll! Another small business that has caught my heart. Great service and great food with late hours. We ordered three dishes to share between 3 people and it was the perfect amount. The three dishes are Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and Khao Gai Sap. Pad thai was delicious! How could you go wrong with pad thai? Actually don't answer that - you can go wrong but Tuk Tuk's was certified delicious pad thai. I was indifferent about the chicken cutlet on top but the noodles were great. Panang curry was unlike anything I've had before. It was super spicy and on the thicker side - creamy deliciousness. The final dish is the khao gai sap which is a fun thai twist on popcorn chicken. Popcorn chicken is my favorite snack so I'm definitely biased. Imagine this - crispy popcorn chicken nuggets tossed in a thai seasoning mix with onions - slightly sweet, salty, sour. I'm salivating thinking about it. So good that I didn't even take a picture. I'll be back Tuk Tuk!!!

Yelp
When I first got here I was expect it to be a sit down restaurant. It's felt like boba store but with great food! They give your food in take-out boxes. There's limited indoor and outdoor seats though. The cashier had to take phone order which had me waiting a bit. Seems to be a family owned business with friendly staffs! Thai Basil Chicken (with chicken rice): This rice plate was my absolute favorite. This dish was so good, that this might be my favorite Thai restaurant. I can't describe how good this dish was haha Pad Thai Chicken: wasn't so bad. Basically pad thai with delicious chicken katsu. The pad thai didn't stood out to me but the chicken on top was very good. Popcorn chicken: well seasoned and crunchy. Can't go wrong with the popcorn chicken. Great snack

Yelp
This is a great little late night spot. It was nice to find something open past 10:30p in the area on a Friday night, other than Vietnamese, Mexican or In-n-Out. We had the basil chicken, Penang Curry chicken, popcorn chicken and Pad Thai chicken. This was way more than we could eat, but we wanted to try a few different items. The basil chicken over "chicken" rice was fantastic! I could eat that all day, every day! That's definitely something I'd order again...and again...and again! The Penang Curry had good flavor, but it was a little watery for me. It comes with generous chunks of chicken, which was a plus. I only tried a little of it at the restaurant for reasons explained below. I thought it was good not great. The Pad Thai Chicken was okay. It had plenty of flavor, but it wasn't quite the Pad Thai I'm used to. Also, I thought it to be a little dry. It comes with breaded chicken on top, which I loved. I could eat just the chicken pieces alone. I would have liked to see a lime wedge and a few green onions on top. Not bad, just not my favorite. The popcorn chicken was pretty tasty. They gave generous portions, with good size pieces. The dining area is very small, but since it was just my wife and I, we ate there. Dining in is not something I'd recommend. The utensils were cheap and flimsy making the dining experience pretty awful. I could hardly eat my Pad Thai with the cheap fork, and I totally gave up on eating the Penang Curry because the spoon was so small and flimsy, I could barely scoop any sauce into the rice, let alone scoop the rice. The Pad Thai came in a small box, so forget about trying to mix it up. It would have been a nice touch to provide solid utensils and some paper plates, especially for those dining in. That said, maybe they did and I just didn't know to ask; my apologies if that was the case. For now, 1 star for the dine-in experience. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out with a party of 2 and 4 ahead of us. I'm not complaining, given the food came out fresh. I'm just providing a reference point. All in all, this is definitely a spot we'll come back to if just for the basil chicken. I'll probably try a few other items next time. Tuk Tuk Chicken is worth a try for those with a late night Thai food craving.

Yelp
let's just say i'll be coming back... the vibes are immaculate super cool hot wheel wall and neon lights! the food was amazing, i got the chicken and shrimp tum yum soup medium spice with clear noodles - the soup was flavorful and good portion of protein. the salt and pepper wings- the pieces were meaty and with crispy coating was delicious. you HAVE to get the banana cake for dessert, not too sweet! the thai tea had lots of flavor and the horchata milk tea was bomb! if you need recommendations, ask any of the staff they were super helpful and answered all my questions. 10/10 :)

Yelp
Tuk Tuk is located in the plaza where Aquis and UPS are and replaced another chicken & rice place that used to be here, but i am a big fan of Tuk Tuk! This is an order and take to go type of They have khao mun gai chicken & rice, katsu chicken and rice and other thai dishes. Their prices are reasonable and their portions are pretty big! Everytime i order here, I'm eating it for two meals. Tofu (5/5) - their fried tofu is my absolute favorite! We got it both normal style and larb style. I don't know which one I prefer more, it'll probably depend in my mood. Larb style is a little spicy and a little tangy. The tofu is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I highly recommend the tofu!! Khao mun gai (5/5) - think this is your standard poached chicken but their rice is more flavorful and it comes with this gingery sauce that just elevates the chicken. Thai basil chicken (5/5) - this dish is so flavorful and saucy. When the sauce is mixed in with the rice, you get such a delicious combination. I believe all the dishes come with a soup but I honestly didn't care too much for the soup. I definitely want to try their pad Thai one day and will report back once i do.

Yelp
We took our food to go. But it's a cute spot if you want to dine in as well. Service is pretty good and fast. I got the Thai Basil Rice that had ground chicken, beans in some delicious sauce over very flavorful rice. That's what I liked the most about this place, each and every rice dish was uniquely flavored and smelt really good. The roti penang was great too, I love the flaky texture, a bit greasy though but went well with the penang. The fried chicken was delicious, since it didn't have curry or sauce, it was a bit dry. Also, Looks like the mango sticky rice is back and definitely worth a try. You cannot go unsatisfied with this dessert. Just delicious.

Yelp
Craving some Thai food late at night, I stumbled on this cute little spot. Everything was packed with flavor--especially the roti, which was super crispy and delicious. The mango sticky rice was the perfect sweet bite to finish off the meal, and the chicken rice was simple but so tasty. Definitely would come back

Yelp
Came here for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend and the food was delicious! We ordered the Kao Mun Gai, Thai Basil Chicken, chicken wings, and mango sticky rice. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the workers are incredibly friendly!
