"This sound bar opened semi-quietly in April but has since gained steam in South End. The brick exterior on the corner boasts some nice character with the two garage-door style windows that give passersby a peek inside. The interior is dark and itty bitty, but decidedly so, creating a very sleek, sexy, even exclusive feel with a DJ spinning music that melts into the background. The small bites menu is split between East and West (Asian and Latin) cuisine and ranges from $10 to $28. Dishes include barbecue dumplings, miso lobster crepes, street corn fritters, and smoked duck confit tacos. But just stopping by the bar for a drink or two — a floral sake or a yuzu and roasted jalapeno vodka cocktail  — will do the trick." - Kayleigh Ruller

I've been looking forward to coming here, and I'm so happy it finally happened! The atmosphere is a perfect mix of chic and upscale, yet lively and upbeat. I loved the DJ—the vibe was just right. The space is a bit small, but it works, giving it an intimate feel. Our server, Ben, was amazing—super knowledgeable and attentive. My husband and I tried a few different dishes, but my absolute favorite was the duck confit taco—literally bursting with flavor! Portions are on the smaller side, so keep that in mind. But overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Orosoko is fire. The tapas are unreal, packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. Massive liquor selection and the ambience is straight up Tulum. Great spot to vibe, eat, and sip something special

Loved Orosoko Sound Bar in Charlotte, NC. The space is great. Dark wood and very intimate and sexy. They also have a bar with about 8 seats. There was also a DJ… the music got loud around 830. The star of the show was our server Danielle. She was very quick and accommodating and gave us excellent recommendations. We took all of them. We had the hamachi, the spring rolls, the Cuban scallops and the pork belly bun. We also had the chocolate churro for dessert. It was 2 little bites of churro with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The food was fantastic. Very complex with amazing flavor. The spring rolls were crispy, not greasy. The Hamachi had all different textures and was absolutely delicious. The pork belly bun also was very flavorful but very small ($12 was steep). The scallops with the beans and sauce were a perfect combination. My only negative is for the price, the portions were tiny. They also had an amazing cocktail list and a decent wine list. They also had some sake’s as well. I really enjoyed my experience here a lot but I’m a huge eater, so I’m not sure if I would come back. I would have to eat 15 things…. And it would be $$$$$

Husband and I went last night, great experience! This was our start to the night for my birthday evening. I wanted to come here specifically to experience the sound bar - as I’ve never heard of it. (we live 45 minutes away in south charlotte) It’s like the sound envelopes you - somehow being a major star of the night but also not. It’s everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. It perfectly captures the vibe and tone of the evening - and being there around sunset as the space turns afternoon to evening was a great experience. Marjorie was a fantastic server! We loved having her, very helpful with the menu items and offering suggestions and describing plates and drinks. Food was great - very balanced and fresh. The dough of the dumplings was so tender! Corn fritters were awesome, the garlic sauce for the fresh summer roll!! I can’t wait for next time

Beautiful, elevated lounge vibes! They serve small plates that are absolutely delicious! The cocktails are so unique and carefully crafted to set them apart from other craft cocktail bars. This place is perfect for birthday dinners and date night. Definitely worth coming back for!

We went here to celebrate our anniversary and it was our first time. We definitely enjoyed our experience. We enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. Our server was excellent and made good recommendations. The menu is not extensive. We tried 4 dishes divided up between the east and west. We had the corn fritters, dumplings, the scallops, and the mushroom bun. Everything was fresh and tasty. They also have a good drink selection that is not your ordinary drinks.

Orosoko was definitely a sexy vibe. A tad bit hard to find bc there is no actual sign that says OROSOKO but walking in, is very speakeasy feeling. Excellent craft cocktails. The food is tapas style and delicious however A tad bit under seasoned. Danielle, our server, was amazing.
